Lunari stood awkwardly before the towering Mando Zabrak.

The other rebels weren’t kidding when they said the Mando Zabrak was a sight to behold.

However Lunari did not think Cress was frightening. If anything his face burned at the sight of the handsome Zabrak.

“Heard you were one of the best engineers.” A gentle voice that he didn’t expect at all. “I don’t have much by terms of credits but if you have a chance, I can trade work? Or I can make something, every had uj cake?”

Cress’s ship had taken a rough landing, Leta trying in vain to repair it with him. Cress offered to seek some aide and here is where he found himself.

Lunari stared. He couldn’t help but stare. To Be honest he would have done the task in a heartbeat.

“I guess I’ll take the uj cake.”

Cress grinned, his slightly sharpened canin teeth gleaming, Lunari wondered if those were for hunting.

“Oh grand! It’s my Buir’s recipe, you’ll love it. Thank you!” The zabrak seemed a bit saddened at the mention of his Buir. Lunari overheard somethings about Cress.

Something about a family with a Force user with dark power, he didn’t quiet understand and Ezra Bridger was not too keen on sharing about what had happened. It seemed there was at times confusion on who Cress was and this other force user.

Maybe that’s why he usually has his helmet?

A shame, Cress was quite handsome.

“Lunari…it’s a nice name.”

“Better than the nickname I can’t get rid of.” He admits to Cress as he works.

“Hmmm? Luna?”

“Lulu.” He scoffs.

Cress smiles and tries it, “lulu? lulu I like that.”

Lulu hates to admit that he likes hearing how Cress says it, gentle, sweetly not a hint of mockery.

“Ah let me help sadly no machinery to really lift it.”

Cress picks up items with ease. Lulu watching with a blush that he passes off as exertion from working.

“Cress? Sweetheart?”

Lulu feels his heart chill. A petite young woman comes around. Soft and everybit as lovely. Leta Trell. A rebel pilot. How could he forget?

Cress immediately lifts her up into his embrace and kisses her. Lulu’s heart clenches.

How could he forget?

“This is Lulu.” Cress attempts

“Just finishing up, Pilot Trell.” Lulu quickly says, “your ship should be just fine. I’ll take my leave.”

Leta looks confused as does Cress, “ You can stay for dinner, your uj cake is almost done.”

“Really it’s fine…” Lulu stammers and gathers up his tools. He more or less rushes away.

“ He was quite pretty.” Leta muses.

“Hmm.” Cress sighs dejected.

“Poor thing was stunned to see me,” she adds, “ Sweetheart, you should go take him the uj cake.”

“He seemed upset.” The zabrak pouts.

“Cressie…I think he had a crush on you and then saw me.” A gentle smile, “ It’s fine if you have one too.”

Cress nuzzles the hand she presses to his cheek. “ He was quite pretty,”

“Go by and see him, go thank him.”

I mean, she is never attracted to anyone besides Kai, and she was only attracted to him after knowing him, she was never attracted to him before only by seeing pictures.

I will not elaborate

Kai:

- "straight"

I think he would only date girls, and he would be like "i am straight, but-"

Scarlet:

- bisexual

this is cannon at this point. she is bi, she used to date Emelie and stayed friends after, now she's with Wolf but she would totally date Winter (#winletforever)

Das ist die frühere Zonengrenze, mitten in der Rhön. Hier war ein neutraler Erlebnispark, wo Soldaten aller Armeen miteinander Bier tranken und über Fußball quatschten. Außerdem wurden hier Friedenstauben dressiert, die den jeweiligen Regierungen naturgemäß mit zartem Lavendelduft parfümierte freundliche diplomatische Noten überbrachten. Zugekiffte Staatsoberhäupter entledigten sich hier ihrer Würde und ließen sich Berge hinaufrollen und dann wieder hinabrollen. In einem Weinfass in der Nähe lagerten Kressesamen. Niemand wusste, warum. Doch abends hörten dann alle den Hahn krähen, bis Sid Vicous die Gegend in einen 100jährigen Schlaf versetzte. Sieben Zwerge küssten eine Hexe uns aßen einen Apfel, als ein Donnerhall durch die Anlage rauschte, wie ein abgerissener Fingernagel. Niemand erinnert sich, das aber sehr!

This is the former German-German-border (it isn't 😉), in the middle of the Rhön. Here was a neutral adventure park where soldiers from all armies drank beer together and chatted about football. Peace doves were also trained here, which naturally brought friendly diplomatic notes scented with the delicate scent of lavender to the respective governments. Stoned heads of state stripped themselves of their dignity here and allowed themselves to be rolled up mountains and then down again. Cress seeds were stored in a wine barrel nearby. Nobody knew why. But in the evening everyone heard the rooster crow until Sid Vicous put the area into a 100-year sleep. Seven dwarves were kissing a witch and eating an apple when a thunder rumbled through the complex like a torn fingernail. Nobody remembers that much!

i have so many queer headcanons for the rampion crew. cinder wouldn’t really care about labels (she already has so many) but if she had to narrow it down she would say demiboy. kai is really bisexual. scarlet is genderfluid and loves women (wolf included). wolf has enough shit to figure out about his body. cress would take ages figuring out the right words for her and settle on queer. thorne is “bi curious” (in quotes because he has sated that curiosity multiple times but is afraid to confront himself). winter is non binary and lesbian. jacin is also a lesbian. iko doesn’t understand the concept of gender but really likes presenting fem (androgynous iko is too powerful for the world).

I'm totally behind (supportive) of all the cannon m/f ships of The Lunar Chronicles. I especially stan Kaider and Wincin. THAT BEING SAID looking back on it, I can definitely imagine getting behind a Scarlet/Winter ship.

(Speaking of which, I have downloaded pdfs of the books and will reread them)

Also, Jacin is ace, maybe BiAce or HetAce. Cress is either bi or a lesbian, same with Scarlet. Cinder is bi, Kai is bi or gay. Thorne is bi. Wolf is the token straight, and everyone's baby.

the 100: josephine lightbourne because i'm singleminded and unapologetic when it comes to pursuing goals that fit my needs in a kinda off-putting way, have a lot of hubris and confidence, and generally tend to give others attitude
