Queens of Mewni headcanons

Have some headcanons of some queens of Mewni!

Festivia obviously favored Cresenta over Dirhhennia. Even hoping that her youngest daughter would be allowed to be her heir, which eventually happened.

Comet and Etheria did not get along growing up, at all.

Cresenta was the one who arranged Rhina’s marriage to John, not really caring that her daughter objected to it.

Celena taught Comet how to cook.

Rumors went around that Feativia had many extramarital affairs and that Cresenta was the result of one, and that she was an illegitimate heir.

Rumor also had it that Rhina was actually Dirhhennia’s and Chad’s daughter, and that Cresenta took and raised her as an heir after turning Dirhhennia into a wolf.

Celena was dubbed the most beautiful queen of Mewni by the people.

Jushtin gave Eclipsa her signature hat as a birthday present.

Estrella made the tapestries of the previous queens.

Comet and Lazlo divorced shortly after Felicity was born.

Celena did have some demon traits inherited from her father, most notably her fangs. But she kept those traits a secret.

Eclipsa often went to the Spiderbite kingdom to visit her aunt and uncle.

Estrella was dubbed the most loved queen of Mewni.

Who's your favorite Queen of Mewni?

out of all the ones we know about, i think i have a weird soft spot for jushtin in particular

he doesn't get much in the book but what we have makes him pretty interesting, his mother had such high expectations for him, only for him to not meet them whatsoever and by the sounds of that, her response was to have another baby, a girl, to surpass him

immediately taking away his power and any position he had.

jushtin absolutely is very irresponsible, and didn't take the role as a future heir seriously, but at the same time the fact his mom basically gave up on him and had another child just so he no longer had to be the heir is kinda screwed up and a little heartbreaking.

he still does some diplomatic stuff later in life so it seems he wasn't fully out of the picture and i'm going to assume his life with his wife was happy, tho we never hear much about any of these butterfly branch families after the fact......but he's clearly very smart so really it sounds like his mother just didn't care to really help him improve.

you can't help but feel kinda bad for him, he's the only queen that has a backstory even like this.

Yeah festivia gave cresenta the throne instead of dirhhennia, also implying she gave up on dirhh as well, but the book never implies she gave birth to cressie BECAUSE of dirhh, it comes off more like cressie was just the better canidate (As messed up as cressie is).

also, gotta admit, him being solaria's brother is super interesting, i just kinda wish it was actually explored because it really isn't in either of their chapters, or even eclipsa's, and it sure is not in the show.

I dunno, wasted potential if you ask me.

if you can give star vs anything, lotta great ideas, just....usually either unexplored or mishandled.

Also, him having clover markings while being inherently unlucky is great btw

About Toffee Star Vs

Hmm, what about him?

-Definitely has PTSD, might be autistic, neither are diagnosed because even though ideas about therapy and mental health have been trickling into Mewni from other dimensions, these are A) largely only accessable to the upper class anyways, B) risky/impossible for him to access because he's an outlaw, C) it's questionable if he's aware of these developments or would even consider going if he was.

-Gay, and very much in the closet over safety concerns, although a few of the people he's close to know and he's certainly not ashamed of it, just worried about his enemies using the information against him. (Modern Mewni may be okay for queer people, but this wasn't always the case)

-Lost his parents during his preteens, as septarians they are suspected to be alive somewhere, but no one has found any sign of them, Seth is the closest he has to a father figure, although he was a pretty independent kid at this point.

-"dated" Eclipsa for a few weeks/months during his teens to gather Intel on the Butterfly family. He was bad at hiding his true feelings/lack therefore of, but she was naive enough to brush it off. Solaria wouldn't die until around a decade later, but this mission saved many lives in the meantime and likely contributed to her defeat.

-He was a quiet kid, kinda stared through you. Eclipsa thought he was a "bad boy" at the time. Later she realized he was probably traumatized.

-He works out a lot, like humans, septarians aren't naturally extremely muscular, if they want muscles they've gotta work for them, this also applies to Rasticore(he looks like he's on steroids, I may have to give these characters more realistic physiques)

-Him, Rasticore and tragically unnamed purple alligator go way back, they probably met as preteens/young teens, definitely fought together during their mid/older teens, and continued to fight together for centuries afterwards.

-Contrary to popular belief, while he did kill Queen Comet, preventing peace was not his intention. For one? Through a combination of her own unchallenged beliefs about monsters and the fact that the Magic High Commission still holds a lot of sway, Queen Comet's quest for peace was doomed with or without Toffee, and he wasn't unaware of this. Best case scenario it would've bought a few decades of relative peace with minimal attempts at control, but this isn't why he killed her; he killed her because he thought she was going to be another Cresenta, someone who both hurt people he cared about specifically and just generally made his life harder through her policies. This was very much a mistake on his part.

-He didn't intend to leave Star is the realm of magic, doing so was fully an accident on his part, and when he realized what happened he was genuinely saddened and horrified. Probably wasn't thrilled about maybe killing Marco either, but he would've done it.

THEORY: Rhina is Actually Dirhhennia And chad’s Daughter

To be honest it makes sense

She and chad got similar hair color and nose

Plus Rhina got a lot of hair like dirhhennia

It could be possible that dirhhennia And chad died and left the child in the care of Crescenta or Crescenta took the child and claimed that is her child with the Help of the MHC

I never liked Crescenta, she May seems sweet and innocent but she created very mess up spells, got no respect for her mother and sister, cheated in the monster election to have control over them.

I won’t be surprised that she took her niece away from her sister and probably banish or something worse to dirhhennia and chad to keep the secret.

And again the MHC is involved

My Saturnia au is done!(kind of)

So here is the idea:

What if when the Magic was destroyed, the queens of mewni didn’t despaired, but turned out to become ghosts?

Now they wandering in this cleaved world, Seeking a purpose for their lifeless life (you can’t do much as a ghost🤷‍♀️)but most of their time they’re Watch and keep their families who still alive

Until Saturnia was born

Somehow she could see them and actually talk to them when no one else could

It was a very exciting discovery for Skywynne,Jushtin and Solaria, knowing that someone from the Butterfly bloodline could connect with them

They decide that they found a purpose: they’re going to teach the young Butterfly everything they knew and help her with whatever she needs, together with her parents and her older sister Meteora

What about the other queens? Sometimes they visit Saturnia and the others, some of them go to explore this world and watching over Star and her family

Sad SVTFOE headcanon

Rhina the Riddled was actually Dirhennia’s daughter. Cresenta couldn’t have children. Dir either passed after giving birth or gave Rhina to her sister to raise. Rhina eventually found out the truth but the public never did.

Why lie about being rhina’s biological mother? Cresenta was obsessed with being the best queen, the perfect queen. One thing a monarch has to do is produce at least one heir, if word got out that cresenta was barren then she would never be seen as mewni’s perfect queen. So she lied to maintain her public image.

Headcannon~

Cressenta became bald around the age of 30 because of how tight and "perfect" she wanted her hair to be. So she only used wigs since then.

Svtfoe Fanfic Challenge Resurrected Queens Au

This is an idea that I want people in the Fanfic community to build on.

I do own Star vs the Forces of Evil

Ok, here are the rules;

The story must have multiple chapters.

NO SMUT

The queens have no knowledge of what the MHC did to Eclipsa

And Eclipsa's in show story is canon.

Here's the scenario

What if after Star destroyed the wand the first time, it somehow brought the previous 13 queens of Mewni back to life?

How would they react to the changing times? How will they react to Earth? How will they help Star and Marco with their adventures? How will they change the show and the ending?

I like the idea of Seth having responded negatively to Comet's letter because I could use it to underline how Cresenta's actions compromised the septarian faction's willingness to negotiate with the Butterfly family, and thus I am likely to keep it, despite not knowing were it comes from.

(Common in universe narrative: Seth rejected the invitation and Toffee assassinated Comet because they didn't want peace.

The truth as I will depict it: Seth rejected the invitation because he didn't trust Comet to negotiate in good faith; Toffee may have been open but skeptical at first, but details of the treaty combined with Comet's overall attitude confirmed his suspicions. Cresenta's actions had serious negative consequences for the monsters, forcing their society to function by mewmen standards, and Toffee wanted to stop this from happening again. I may depict him as being unsure if this was the right decision to this day)
