An ancient Alder came down in the rains last night.

It's friends stand over it and mourn.

But it was tired, and it was it's time. In death, as in life, it will provide wildlife habitat, it will just be home to a different set of citizens.

Though, some of it's original tenants will remain. Old friends, to help the Alder in its transition.

WINTER HOLIDAY MARKET DECEMBER 17 - 23, 2023

Creekside Carpentry and Construction will be selling a variety of Christmas goods, from tree ornaments to decorations to lawn figurines. The entire store is running a buy one, get one 50% off sale for the week, and all furniture orders placed will receive 25% off. Although it's too late to place Christmas orders, it's not too late to order some furniture for the new year! All furniture and decor is handmade by the Creekside team, with the vast majority of wood used coming from old barns and buildings around town that have been restored or repurposed to bring fresh life to old, beautiful things.

another 10.5 today, back to back long runs as my only runs this week because you take what you can get and I like to enjoy my runs on the weekend if I can (extra park and outside time) ft green brier berries and float practice 🤸🏼‍♀️

the second half of this year has been an off training block, going for 20 miles over the week however it looks. just subtle consistency and cross training (walking, yoga, strength, some cycling)
