Ashly Burch was literally so fucking funny for not only committing to Keg not being able to spell but also insisting on writing multiple (real, physical) letters to people (yes I'm also including her written down apology to Nott in an earlier episode). A fully iconic character choice that added to Keg's character while also making Ashly the funniest person alive. I will never emotionally recover from "for Bo (spelled wrong): everything in the letter is scratched out except for 'thanks'"

i do love that we learn how caleb navigates trauma as someone who has experienced capital T trauma as he is talking to fjord after everything that happens. it is a like... very peculiar kind of expertise to be able to resonate and talk about trauma and hold space for those who are experiencing it for the first time.

The Mighty Nein were so powerful at making friends and helping them overcome the mindset of completely transactional relationships. When the Nein are at Molly's grave after saving Fjord, Jester, and Yasha, Fjord thanks the Nein for coming after them and just being kind and says he owes them if they ever need that favor repaid.

Beau's response? "After a while you lose track of favors. It's okay."

Eleven things I noted about CR2E30 "The Journey Home" and the Talks Machina about it :

Awwww Travis and Laura are so happy to be back, and their friends are so happy they're back ! Also me, I'm so happy they're back !

Matt does a bit of time bending : the live show ended well after the battle, but since Travis and Laura are back to experience the story in-characters, he starts right when Nott liberates Jester and break the audience's heart with "Case closed".

"Where's Molly" oh no oh no. I cried. They heard the whole thing on the Glory Run Road. It's horrible.

I love when Matt threads arcs between them, like when they discovered that someone hired the Iron Sheperds to steal the cristal vored by Fjord, and that they're supposed to go to Nicodranas next to enquire on this mystery.

Jester makes everyone cry a second time when she just writes to the Traveler "why didn't you come ?"

The letter from Keg to Beau after their one-night stand is the greatest thing ever. So is Marisha's full-body reaction.

The new horses (goodbye, John, Loo, and Water Closet) are named by Nott : Dancing Queen, Fernando, Mamma Mia, and Waterloo. Nice !!

So unfair that Ashley couldn't be here for this episode. Thankfully Matt's incarnation of Yasha's reaction at Molly's grave was powerful and heart-breaking. But still... The tears were there for more than one reason for me.

Oh no, they lied to Cree who came asking why "Lucien" wasn't with them. On the one hand, it's an awful thing to do to someone who seemed to cling quite a bit to Molly/Lucien. On the other hand, with Molly's backstory and the fact that Lucien died once before, if Cree knew, she probably would have run to where Molly's burried... ? To dig him up ?

The cutest guest ever on Talks : baby Bailey-Willingham !!! They could have showed the baby for an hour, and it would have been the best Talks Machina ever.

I love when they tell crazy personnal stories. This time, it's the story of Travis paying wayyyyyyy to much money for a rare coin at Ren Faire. Oh, Travis. Also Laura once lost a dagger in a porta-potty at Ren Faire, which explains a joke I heard on C3 last week. Brian : “The Ren Faire takes its toll !”

I also watched "Honey Heist 2 : Electric Beargaloo" (best name ever ??? Thank you Marisha Ray) and oh my god, what a delight, what a success ! I can't say my favorite part : The opening credits ? Marisha's accent as the Godfather ? The polar bear game ? Brian's mission to make the most dick jokes ever ? The motorcycle sequence ? They were unhinged.

I've been sobbing for the last few episodes but now I'm finally at ep30, the one where I actually left off last year! That means that I don't know what will be happening At All and I'm extremely excited for it! :D

I will forever miss our favourite purple Tiefling Mollymauk but I already love Caduceus.

And gods, Beau, I'm so glad you managed to get it on with Keg, you weirdo. Absolutely love those two.

Also, Fjord is back again which I'm very thankful for because I'm finally getting some Caleb/Fjord content again. It's been far too long. :')
