i got pulled over and i have to go to court i think

he’s pretty righteous!! just so long as his bottom line isn’t crossed. and a somewhat of a gentleman i feel like?? (would.. 11/10 kiss ur hand..) despite being a wanted outlaw, and his appearances and impression of a scary or unruly guy, he’s actually really reliable and can get along with people pretty easily!! my brain is going burrrrr with ideas of the cowboy au. Like, imagine Copia is a treasurer for a small town in Arizona or New Mexico (or Utah if you want to be funny) and the town has a rather large church presence so many people in and around the town come to this church because of its charismatic pastors.

However, because of this the church gets a lot of money in tithings and this draws the attention of a nearby large gang of outlaws who are referred to as the ghouls. Eventually they attack the town and raid the church and end up kidnaping Copia (he was there to help look at and financial records and help train one of the members on how to keep them). One of the heads of this gang is Aether who is drawn to Copia and his seemingly honest and awkward nature and after a few weeks of holding him hostage they end up growing close enough that when Copia requests to be apart of the gang Aether is there to support him and convince the other ghouls.

also after a few years of being Copia being apart of the gang and him and Aether being together they adopt a teenage orphan (Phantom) and two tiny feral sisters (the girls) because I said so

(I’m sorry I couldn’t write more but it’s very late where I live and if I go to sleep I’ll forget this idea by the time I wake up)

oh Positivity, yes. uuuhhhh im kind of bad at bookmarking things ngl but i will share A Few. all vashwood bc that's my shit & all

i feel like everyone knows about Figure Me Out but it was one of the first fics i read in this fandom & honestly tangentially inspiration for writing Sentido (that whole tangible inhumanity kind of idea). i should reread it sometime. im very behind on the sequel but im thinking about working on reading it so i can have smth that has good characterization. genuinely some of the best vash characterization ive seen. Sooooooooooo good

theres kinder, gentler WHICH i actually was absolutely ABSOLUTELY obsessed with a giant haikyuu fic this person wrote back in the day, so seeing them get into trigun was an Absolute gift for me. one of the best trigun longfic there are imo with fun characterizations & WONDERFUL writing. one of my favorite instances of Knives Domestication too, aka he's still very thorny and does not like humans but he is Making An Effort (after centuries and centuries of work). this fic rly embodies the spirit of trigun to me tbh, if it was something... well... kinder and gentler. very silly and very sad at times, but also hopeful. what a fic <3

i was very very very obsessed with Trillium and Ivy. read the entire thing in one day. & honestly shoutout to them for writing such a long fic back b4 the trigun renaissance. Dedication. it's been a bit since ive read it but i remember really enjoying how they wrote Vash's disability in a modern setting. not just handwaving away the prosthetic as some super high-tech thing. and also addressing the utter horror that his recovery from such a serious accident wouldve been. honestly i might reread it sometime, ive forgotten a lot of it and it was SO fucking good. genuinely i was obsessed. highly recommend it.

uhmmmmmmmmmmm the other trigun fics i have bookmarked are smut fics lksdjflsdkfj but i'll share them anyways bc if it's in my bookmarks that means they HIT me enough i wanted to save it for later. and thus they are the kinds of smut fics that have U contemplating life and love and ur very existence

Cowboy/Wild West shatterspace. Eggman is the sherif/mayor/whatever and he’s a bit of a fucking coward but he mostly means well. Tails is the deputy and he takes his job way too fucking seriously. OR. The train conductor in the inevitable train heist. Rouge (and shadow too bc why not) are two traveling outlaws and they’re the ones who rob the train. Hey now that I think of it maybe knuckles is the train conductor. Whatever. 🤷

Anyways amy is like the vigilante cowboy sort of thing? She’s against the outlaws but doesn’t give a fuck about what eggman/tails(?) think. Also she has a horse. Big the cat owns the saloon. Knuckles either runs the bank or he’s the train conductor. Uhhhhhh the shard is on the train or smth I dunno.

Birdie is the horse and Sonic is massively creeped out by the fact she's a horse in this shatterspace. Big DEFINITELY runs the saloon. Froggy is the bouncer 🤣. I want Eggman to be there so bad but none of the other shatterspaces had him so would this one? Same with Shadow i think if he's there its just a au and not a shatterspace (cries bc he would make such a good outlaw). Sonic gets arrested immediately and the untrustworthy Rouge the Robber is in the cell next to him. Hmmmmm maybe Tails is the damsel tied to the track? I think i like him better as the train conductor (just imagine Sonic catching up to a train like nothing and while Tails is gawking Sonic is like "oh hey Tails!"). But where would Knuckles go? He be the sheriff instead? A wander who's tasked with transporting the shard? The big thing is nobody trusts everybody in our group

There should be a train heist and its because the shard is on the train. But who walks away with it?!

EDIT: Also Sonic's shoes are cowboy boots complete with the spurs! And Amy's name is probably something like "Desert Rose"

okay lsitennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn rdr2 has been mt hyper fixation since July of 2022 when my brother in law gave me his old ps4 and the game and i don’t think ive shut up about it since i started playing. My entire personality is rdr2. And my current outlet/therapy is writing my rdr2 fanfiction

My sister got me a cameo of Roger Clark talking to me as Arthur for my 25th bday and literally nothing has ever topped that. It was the most amazing gift ever and now I have a video of Arthur Morgan saying my name and talking to me about my horses!!!! It’s so amazing I watch it all the time
