Sewerhell Sunday again
Uhhhh post-Ruin/Mimic encounter, Cassie becomes friends with all of Mimic's previous guards very quickly. This is especially the case in situations where they helped guide her and Roxy into defeating Mimic.
The other three guards were the original Roxy, Mangle and the first Foxy. The last time these three dealt with Mimic, it tore Mangle and Foxy's friendship apart. Foxy genuinely hates both of them for what happened and they hate him in return but they all agree that Cassie is more important.
Cassie doesn't blame any of them for what happened before or what happened to her. She's the most sympathetic human they've ever met. Roxy's original (now mostly known as Rockabella or Bella/Rocky for short) in particular was brought to tears within minutes of their first meeting, that's how good she is to them. She understands they struggle to get along and makes a point to hang out with all three of them.
In the setup where the manager fucks the security up and Sewerhell breaks loose, the three older guards end up with an interesting bond with Roxy too. These are the only three animatronics in existence that know the full extent of what she's had to deal with for years and unsurprisingly, that's something she's needed for a very long time. Mangle adopted her as a little sister almost immediately, Bella was a bit slower, offering support but also not really knowing what to do, and while Roxy knows that this Foxy hates her by association, she also has a sneaking suspicion he's taking a slow and gradual shine to her. He's threatened to kill her. She's completely unphased. He's never once even so much as poked her, never mind hurt her.
Honestly, he's got beef with a lot of Sewerhell guys, there's a lot of people telling both Roxy and Cassie to be careful around him. He doesn't really know what to do with these two. He wouldn't hurt Cassie, but he could hurt Roxy. He could! He swears he could! It would take nothing to beat the shit out of her! He could do it!
He's also a fucking liar! Who woulda thought?
#sewerhell sunday#plex history: roxy#plex history: foxy#plex history: mangle#fly's plex history#i might reblog this with a comparison to roxy and foxy 2's relationship dynamic because like#yeah... lmao#yeah there's. a log of stuff between the four guards#eight guards if you include the minis#it's. interesting to say the least and they all love cassie so much#foxy 1 avoids her and roxy like the fucking plague but they keep ending up spending time with him#and he doesn't know what to do so he's just kinda. pushing back against roxy and letting cassie do whatever#he's so mean btw. roxy listens to him and is just like 'hah... yeah' though#he's so mean to HER to and she's just fucking hitting him with the fact she's heard worse every time#like. whadda hell. that was the most biting insult he could throw at her and she just. what do you MEAN you've heard WORSE?!#he's not as good at this as he thinks he is lmao. he keeps calling her a furby though#this is the only time he ever talks to mangle now#just like MANGLE COME GET YOUR FUCKING FURBY BEFORE I RIP ITS BATTERIES OUT#mangle gets there and it turns out roxy just fucking DESTROYED him in mario kart.#he hates this game. stupid gane for babies. evil horrible nasty game. it's rigged that's what it is.#she's laughing her ass off about it by the way. if you couldn't guess#bsjdndid nah honestly these two just kinda sit and sometimes talk#she says he's always welcome in her raceway and he boils on the inside because he shouldn't be and she shouldn't be there#indebted to him in that scenario i mentioned. she fucking hugged him in tears once she was out and thanked him so sincerely#and he can't get that out of his head and he doesn't know what to fucking do about it or her#JHSIDJSONSID WAIT IF I GIVE HIM THE FORTRESS AND ROXY HASN'T DISCOVERED IT YET#FUCKING SJDBISJSO 'RIGHT! THATS IT! YER GOIN TO THE TUBES!!'#'the WHAT now???' he's dragging her by her foot and she WAS gonna break away but whats the tubes??? huh??#just drops her in the fortress ballpit or something and leaves her in there with her minis#all he can hear through the door is her like WOAH WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS PLACE?!

Kindled Spirits AU
Soulmate AU revamped with a Y/N <3
Basics: Soulmate bonds are 1) not necessarily romantic, 2) not a given and not always between just 2 people, 3) not necessarily reciprocal (rare, but happens) Basically soulmates are bonded via dreams - meeting within dreams, or dreaming of each other’s memories, anything in dreams is fair game Plays a year after the pizzaplex fire and given that I had the idea a good while ago none of the dlc is included in the premise, also bc this is based on an old self insert fic Y/N is extremely audhd because that I refuse to take out
Y/N has spent most of their life assuming they don’t have a soulmate, which is a relief because they’re plagued by nightmares/ stress dreams a lot. They got used to those, and when some other hazy dreams crop up later in life they don’t think much of it.
Then one night they dream of burning. An indoor playground, they stand in the middle of it, filled with hopelessness and self hatred they cant explain (the irony of Sun burning to death). They don’t feel alone though, and though they can’t see anyone else, they know someone else is there. It's both a comfort as well as agonizing, and the care for that other person is evident, despite the whole emotional cocktail. They go through the entire dream incapable of changing anything, and then wake up still feeling hot but also cold and clammy, phantom flames still licking at their skin. All while they cope with the idea that maybe they did have a soulmate, and that is now past tense.
For an entire year they go around thinking they witnessed their soulmate(s?) burning to death via dream, not telling anyone about it but carrying that guilt.
Tumblr media
They move, and find a new job - the Pizzaplex is hiring! No one wants to be a security guard anymore after all that weird shit a year ago, so even though Y/N lacks the qualifications, they get hired. Rotating shifts, day (morning/ afternoon) and night. The first time they walk past the daycare, it flashes into flame - but no, that’s just coincidence. It’s the first indoor playground they’ve seen since then, it’s hazy dream memories worsened by guilt, it’s not the same.
Tumblr media
Y/N befriends the daycare attendant, and the naptime attendant - they talk to Sun sometimes through the slide, and Moon usually bothers them on their security rounds. They do meet Sun first, after trying to be helpful throwing down some stray ballpit balls down the slide, and a curious Sun crawls up just to get a ball to the face. Y/N feels very bad about that, and given their lack of scripts for how to interact with animatronics, they just fall back on the scripts they already have. Sun doesn't seem to mind, so it's all good! Then one night they shout a belated "Good night!" down the slide, after the lights in the daycare have turned off, and barely avoid falling when suddenly Moon stands behind them, asking them just what they're doing. He makes his dislike of their flashlight promptly known, and then they have a menace of a shadow for their rounds.
Tumblr media
That goes on for a couple weeks, until Sun asks them inside of the daycare to address a few concerns they could please relay to management?
And then the perspective is just undeniable. Y/N gets caught in the flashback, seeing it all burn again, and Sun startles them out of it. They don’t tell him. They can’t. But they realize that he’s been forced to work in a direct replica of the place where he burned to (temporary) death.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After that they keep trying to broach the topic of soulmates in general, but Sun and Moon are very much convinced that as animatronics they are not people, and they can’t dream anyway, so how would they have a soulmate? So silly!
Dreams and personhood are very connected in this AU - with dreams linking souls society just assumes that anyone without dreams is not a person. (Is this a societal issue for other humans who don't dream? Sure! People are people and will exclude others for any reason!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Meanwhile Y/N starts having more dreams - they assume because now they live closer, actually met their soulmates, there’s less of a barrier to only have the super traumatic stuff make it into their dreams. In fact, they are kind of relieved that their usual nightmares are exchanged for extremely mundane “watching kids play in the daycare” or watching themself being bothered by Moon from his POV.
Tumblr media
It’s a struggle trying to convince their soulmates that they are in fact people, while wondering if the bond is reciprocated because how would they tell? Sun and Moon can’t dream, there’s no confirmation that Y/N is their soulmate too! Lots of fear of rejection that’s holding them back here
But also some shenanigans at this time, like Y/N knowing that Moon follows them on their routes, and calling him out on it when he tries to stay hidden. He asks how they knew, and they bluntly reply “it came to me in a dream”. Moon laughs, then asks for the truth that they don’t know how to give after he rejects it so easily. They end up deflecting and he goes back to being a menace.
Also Y/N being somewhat anxious once they realize that Sun uses "friend" for many people (whenever they do see him interact with adults, which isn't often) and awkwardly ask for confirmation because oh no what if he's just being polite and they read too much into it? They almost regret it when he proves that Moon isn't the only menace and makes sure they know he considers them their friend after! Moon continues being a cat in his affections, so when Y/N asks him the same he ends up positively surprised, somewhat guilty (due to the secrets he keeps, and the danger he still believes he poses), but mostly ramps up the friendly annoying to the max
And then Y/N ends up impulsively telling Moon. He wants them to be joking - asks them to, even, to take it all back. When they refuse he reacts more in anger and accuses them of deluding themself, suggesting they need medical attention. They get angry then, too, because is he really telling them to go to a doctor after they confess something like this? It ends badly, with Y/N fleeing the scene and then avoiding both Moon and Sun for a good while.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Until Sun requests their presence about a “security issue” in the closed daycare, and Y/N goes even knowing he’ll want to talk. He’s concerned more than angry, but disbelieving all the same. Y/N’s patience is running thin when Sun, desperately, asks them just what they were dreaming about to be so convinced - what made them think they're linked to an animatronic like that? - so they tell him about the fire. They also tell him that they were telling the truth that one time with Moon. Sun (and Moon) get their own flashback, and Y/N ends up frantic, apologizing for bringing it up like that, while the boys are just terrified that
1) Y/N had to see that, experience it via dream
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and 2) just what else could they have seen?
Moon in particular is terrified - he approaches them a bit later, asking about other dreams they might’ve had. Even says “they would have been nightmares”. He assumes that Y/N must have witnessed the virus induced murders and has no idea how to assure them that he’s not that, after he reacted in so much anger at their initial confession. His concern doesn’t really lessen, and more shifts upon being told that “I wouldn’t know, all my dreams are nightmares anyway”.
Mostly themed around growing closer after that, and working around “we don’t need to dream of you to know we like you, and we do!” as well as uncovering the past trauma Sun and Moon have gone through (and are going through, still trapped in the same building in a replica of where they burned).
Also Sun and Moon struggling to accept their personhood because if they’re people, then they are traumatized and were (and are being) mistreated for a long time, and that’s also hard to come to terms with. Some thoughts towards animatronic emancipation though I never got that far in the fic, so mostly comfort and slice of life as they work around the little bump in the road of their soulmate bond. Y/N opening up about their own dreams, and why it's so difficult to say they had any nightmares based on Sun and Moon's experience before the literal death experience not just breaking the ice but rather melting it at record speed
Would remain platonic/ ambiguous because it was very important to me that soulmates aren't necessarily romantic, and they all have bigger fish to fry than whether or not they'd like to go on dates - given that that's hardly an option while Sun and Moon cannot leave the Plex. The reassurance and relationship beyond the bond actually is the most important part, with Y/N admitting to both Sun and Moon and also themself that they enjoy having them as soulmates, of course! But they'd be friends with or without those dreams, given that Y/N initially approached them both before they even realized. Which is also a relief, because Sun and Moon do feel bad over not being able to confirm that it's reciprocated - they feel like it is, they want it to be (and isn't that the most important part?)! But they don't know. And that's okay - because they found each other, dreams or not, and they won't lose that <3
This is as much as I have right now, and as much as it'll stay for the time being! Enjoy <3

Part 2
Tumblr media
“Good morning!” The chipper blond welcomed her with a gapped tooth smile as she sang her greeting. “Piper, right?” The red head nodded in confirmation. “Perfect. I'm Meredith, everyone calls me Merry, I'm gonna be the one showing you around the Pizzaplex!” She motions for Piper to follow her, pushing through the turnstiles with ease before walking into the main lobby. “I’ll give you a more thorough run down after your shift, they never listen when I tell them to have you come tour the place beforehand.” She sighs, stepping onto an escalator and casually leaning up against the railing. “You’re going to be in the daycare, so you’ll be working with Sundrop. It should be pretty easy; arts and crafts, making sure the kids don't hurt themselves, nap time, nothing too crazy. Sun can walk you through it, anything you need, just ask him.”
“Some interesting nicknames around here.” She remarks with a lopsided smile. “Merry and Sun.”
“Oh, Sundrop is his real name!” She responds with a laugh. “I take it you haven't gotten to meet any of the animatronics yet?” Merry gives her an excited glance.
“No, I've seen the posters and stuff, pictures of them in the office when I went in for my interview, things like that, but I haven't, uh, met them?” She says giving the taller blond a look of confusion. ‘Why would I have to introduce myself to a robot?’ She thinks, quickly shaking the thought as she rushes to keep up. She approached a set of large, wooden double doors, the gold handles glistening in the low lighting. She holds the door open for her with a smile, motioning for Piper to walk in ahead of her. Piper fidgets with the sleeves of her sweater, looking around the room to see shoe cubbies and hangers for coats and bags about halfway up the wall. The faded paint was covered in drawings of kids standing next to who you were assuming to be the daycare animatronics. Both of them are tall and slender, one with a sun shaped head, the other a moon. The sun wore yellow and red striped pants that billowed loosely down his legs, you noticed most of the kids had drawn what must have been bells on his wrists and ankles. The moon was dressed similarly, only his pants had white stars against a dark blue background, a matching sleep cap sitting atop his head. She smiled, breathing out a soft laugh as she ran her finger over the waxy artwork.
“We could take the stairs, but the slide’s faster.” Piper jumps as Merry suddenly starts talking. She chuckles seeing the shorter woman’s expression, pointing to a tube that must have led down to the daycare.
“Slide it is.” Piper giggles in response. Merry grabs onto the railing above the slide, jumping slightly before flinging herself down the plastic tunnel. Piper hears the clatter of plastic below before Merry calls for her to come down. She excitedly hops into the slide, unable to stop herself from smiling as she rushes downwards. She yelps slightly as the slide abruptly ends and she’s flung into the waiting ball pit below.
“Sunny! I’ve got a new friend for you to meet!” Merry cups her hands around her mouth as she calls out in the massive playroom.
“A new friend? Oh, how exciting!” Piper hears a voice call from above. Her eyes widen as she sees a large clown with a sun shaped head spin out onto a platform overlooking the daycare. In one swift motion he dove from the platform and into the ballpit, mere feet in front of her. Piper scrambled to find solid ground, hoisting herself up onto the rubber mat covered floor, her foot slipping on one of the yellow pool noodle covered edges. Two sets of articulate robotic fingers wrap around the foam in front of her before the robot hoists himself up to his full height, she scrambles backwards, screaming as she bumps into Merry.
“It’s alright! Piper, this is who you’re working with!” She drops down to her side, shaking her slightly in an attempt to break her out of her panic. She froze, her chest heaving as she watched the golden points whirl around his face.
“You said he was an animatronic!” She exclaims, motioning rapidly to the human-esque figure in front of her.
“He is!” She exclaims. “The technology for him is very advanced, it’s something the owners have been perfecting their entire lives.” She explains with a smile. She looks between the animatronic and the nearly shaking girl in front of her. “Sundrop, this is Piper, she’s the new daycare attendant.” He stands there for a moment. His unreadable expression makes her heart race.
“New daycare attendant, hm?” He suddenly speaks, his voice was so expressive, if she wasn't so terrified of his monstrously tall stature Piper would've been amazed. He slinks closer to her, kneeling down to bring his face directly in front of hers. “I’ll warn you now, the daycare isn’t a place for amateurs.” She furrowed her brows at him.
“I’ll have you know I’m wonderful with children.” She sits up, he jolts back as she suddenly gets close to him. “I would appreciate it if you wouldn’t make assumptions about me considering you just met me a few seconds ago.” He seemed a bit taken aback at her sudden change in demeanor. Just a moment ago she looked so timid and scared, but now she looked like she was ready to bite his head off.
“I’ll let your work speak for you then.” He stands, grabbing her gently by the wrist and hoisting her up with him.
“Sun, play nice, she’s the best resume that’s applied for the daycare in a long time. Who knows, maybe you might even like her.” She smiles and winks at him. She turns to Piper, “I’ll swing back by here at lunchtime, I’ll help you find your way to the cafeteria.” She offers happily. “And don’t let him make you nervous, he’s a drama queen anyways.” She teases, making Piper giggle.
“I wonder why? It’s not like my programming was originally meant for the theater or anything.” He responds sarcastically.
“Show her around the daycare, give her a run down of the schedule, don’t kill each other.” She counts out the tasks on her fingers. “Think both of you can handle that?” They both nod. She gives both of them a wave over her shoulder as she heads off to get ready for her shift.
“So, we start off with free play.” He motions for her to follow him as he prattles on about the schedule for the day. He shows her where all the craft supplies are, where to find the adult-only tools like sharp scissors and permanent markers. He explained that during naptime is when she would meet Moondrop, “let him handle putting the kids down, he doesn’t like it when someone interrupts his system.” He explains. “Other than that, if you’ve worked with kids before, you should know what you’re doing already.” He sighs, obviously expecting her to fail from the start.
“I think I can handle it, don’t worry.” She squeaks with mock confidence, trying to find some way to change the animatronics tune towards her. “Sundrop?” He turns to her. “I’m really looking forward to working with you, I’m sure I can learn a lot.” She noticed how the whirrs and pings of his internal mechanisms grew slightly louder at her compliment. His eyes flicker over her face for a moment.
“Thank you, Piper.”
Tumblr media
Piper watches as child after child comes down the slide into the Superstar Daycare. “Friends, if I could interrupt your playtime for just one moment, I have an important announcement to make!” She was pleasantly surprised at how quickly the screams and laughter of the children died down, Sun easily able to catch their attention. “Some of you might have noticed there's a new face around the Daycare today. I would like to introduce all of you to Miss Piper.” There was a chorus of small hello's and hi’s from the group. She jump as Sun suddenly claps his hands together, telling them all they could go back to playing. He strides up to her, her eyes trailing up his long thin frame as he stretches farther above her than anyone she had ever met. She guessed that Sun stood somewhere around 7 feet tall, compared to her short stature he looked nothing short of a gigantic. “Go grab the markers from the supply closet, I'll take care of pulling out the tables and chairs.”
“You know it wouldn’t kill you to say please.” Piper huffs before turning on her heels and hurrying off to get set up for drawing time. Sun can’t help but watch her retreat. Out of all of his time in the Pizzaplex he had never met anyone like her, staff member or otherwise. She wasn't afraid to speak her mind, that was apparent from the small little quips she had spit out at him. Granted, he knew he had a tendency to be a bit harsh towards new hires, but that was only because almost everyone they sent him was incompetent. It's not that Sundrop was mean, he was just a perfectionist. The Daycare Attendants he has worked with in the past didn't care about the kids like he did, they didn't have the same passion for the glitter covered stick figures they would be presented with. But there was something different about Piper. Sun saw how you immediately stopped when one of the kids ran up to you, stooping down to scoop the small boy up in her arms to head in the direction he was pointing in. A ball had gotten stuck in one of the rungs on the play place, too high for any of the kids to reach safely. He watched as she maneuvered herself carefully up the brightly colored structure, wiggling the ball loose before climbing back down. She hands the ball over to the boy, giving him a high five and praising him for asking for help. She smiles as the boy runs off to play with his friends. Her eyes meet Sun’s, causing her to freeze. She lets out a sigh of relief, smiling softly as he offers her a subtle thumbs up. Sun walks away, going to set up the tables for the next activity.
“What do we have here?” A voice purrs in Sun’s head.
“There's a new Daycare Attendant.” Sun mutters quietly out loud.
The voice groans, “another one? They keep sending us these stupid humans-”
“I thought the same thing. But she seems… different.” He explains, sliding the tables across the floor.
“So that's what woke me up.” He lets out a raspy chuckle. “I guess I’ll have to see what she’s like in a couple hours.” The warmth in the back of Sun's head dissipates as his counterpart returns to sleep.
“Sundrop?” He's snapped from his thoughts by her melodic voice. He turns to find Piper standing there with multiple bins of art supplies stacked in her arms. “I have all the crayons, markers, glitter, stickers, glue sticks, and stamps.” He smiles as he listens to her list off everything he would have grabbed. “I'm having some trouble finding the paper.” She admits bashfully.
“Here, let me take these.” The cold tips of his metal fingers brush against hers as he takes the stack of containers from her. He spreads them out across the tables before turning back to her. “Let’s go look for that paper.” She was a bit shocked by his response, she was waiting for him to start yelling at her. He didn't seem too keen on working with someone new, her not being able to complete such a simple task should've set him off. She follows him into the supply closet, he lets out a soft hum as he scans over the shelves. “Here we go.” He pulls out a pack of paper and hands it to her. It appeared to be at the back of one of the very top shelves, a place she couldn't have reached if she tried. “I'll make sure to get all the paper moved down to where you can get it.” He states simply before walking back out into the daycare, leaving Piper to watch him duck out of the closet in a state of confusion. He had seemed to completely change from the animatronic she had met earlier this morning, and she couldn't figure out just what exactly had spurred the sudden shift. She got everything set up for drawing time; separating the stack of paper into smaller piles to make it easier for all the kids to share, opening all the containers and removing a couple markers that had been left uncapped and had dried out. You heard the excited screams and talking of the kids as they ran over to draw. Sun had a child in either arm, a third clung to his leg as he moved in your direction.
“Miss Piper?” Her attention was caught by a girl with strawberry blond pigtails as she tugged on her sleeve.
“Hi honey, what’s your name?” She asks cheerily, kneeling down to be closer to the girl's eye level.
“Haley.” She responds with a huge smile, her two front teeth missing.
“It’s nice to meet you Haley, what’s up?” She looks bashfully over at Sundrop before her eyes immediately dart back to Piper.
“Do you think you could help me draw a picture for Mr. Sun?” She holds out the orange crayon she had clutched in her fist. “I want to make something for him but he’s really hard to draw.”
“Of course I can.” Piper smiles brightly at her, letting out a soft chuckle at her excited expression. Haley grabs Piper by the hand, tugging her back to where she was sitting, telling all of her friends that Piper would help them make pictures for Mr. Sun. She couldn't help but smile as her time was filled with giving high fives to all the excited kids as they showed off their drawings to her, drawing a quick Sundrop head for the kids to color, and being asked a million questions about her bright colored jewelry and fun outfit. Little did she know, the whole time Sun was keeping a close eye on her, absolutely delighted by what he saw.
“How’s everyone doing over here?”
“Sunny!”
“Mr. Sun!”
“Sundrop!” Piper looks over her shoulder to see the large animatronic had made his way over to where she was working.
“Is it okay if I sit here Miss Piper?” He asks with a smile, motioning to the chair next to her. He noticed how some of the kids must have placed stickers on her cheeks, her freckles laced with sparkly stars and neon smiley faces.
“Sure, Sundrop.” She smiles sweetly at him. He crouches into the comically small chair, his knees pressed to his chest.
“Miss Piper’s been helping us draw you Mr. Sun.” Haley exclaims, giggling when the animatronic gives her an amazed expression.
“Really? You all wanted to draw me?” They all clamored over to him, wanting to show off their pictures, most of them drawings of Sundrop holding hands with that child, ‘best friends’ scrawled across the bottom in messy script. “These are so wonderful!” He leans in closer to the group, they all copy his motions with wide eyes, waiting eagerly to see what he would say to them. “How about next you guys draw some pictures of Miss Piper?” They all silently agree before hurriedly turning back to their papers and crayons. He leans back in his chair. “I'll have to admit Piper, you're doing an amazing job.” She found heat settling behind her cheeks at the compliment, her eyes darting over to meet his glowing white ones.
“Thank you, Sundrop.” She smiles shyly.
“You can call me Sun, less of a mouthful.” He chuckles. “If Moon likes you you'll have passed your trial run.” There was a slight teasing tone in his voice.
“Well, lets hope for the best then.” She smiles at him.
She was grateful for nap time once it rolled around, with so many kids it was hard to find a moment to catch her breath. “Go pick your spot.” She shoos off a small boy into the other room, dimming the lights as they all settle in. She softly shuts the door, tucking herself away in a corner so she wouldn't get in Moon’s way. She wondered why she hadn't seen any sign of the animatronic all day. Her eyes immediately drifted to Sun as he stepped in the room, as he shut the door you watch his face spin around, all of the points surrounding his head getting tucked away as a sleep cap appeared. She blinked, the gold and red stripes on his pants suddenly turning to stars.
“You must be this new Daycare Attendant I heard about.” His voice was much raspier than Sun’s, he turned to face Piper, a noticeable difference in his face from the animatronic that had just stepped in the room in front of her. The moon on his face was much more prominent, the other side of his face being blacked out save for his glowing white eye. She was amazed at the complexities of their system, not to mention the immediate difference she noticed in their personalities, if she hadn’t just seen the change in front of her she wouldn't have believed this was the same animatronic. “You just sit back here, I’ll make this quick… and try to stay awake.” He chuckles before slinking off into the dark room. She heard the soft gasps and calls for Moon that he gently shushed, patting each child's head that greeted him as he made his way to the center of the room. The soft sounds of a music box beginning to chime filled the room, a tapestry of stars slowly rotated around the ceiling. Almost like magic Piper noticed the kids near her fall asleep one by one, every one of them in the room asleep by the time his song ended. She found herself yawning, pushing her round, wire framed glasses onto the top of her head as she wiped her eyes. She stretched, her spine letting out a soft pop as she pulled her arms over her head. Her eyes fluttered open, her hand immediately clapping over her mouth to suppress the scream that had welled up in her throat. Moondrop’s face was mere inches away from her own, he studied her closely, slowly crawling around her with almost spider like movements.
“I'm assuming you must be Moon?” She whispers nervously, his gaze didn't feel as judgemental as when she first met Sun, but he still made her nervous nonetheless. He offers her a small nod in response. “I’m Piper.”
“Sun seems very impressed with you Miss Piper.” He coos softly. “I do have to say you're definitely a lot prettier than the usual Daycare Attendants they send us.” He chuckles at her flustered expression. He runs a finger over one of the star stickers on her cheek. “The kids seem to like you too, that’s good.” He carefully maneuvers around her, propping himself up against the wall at her side. “How are you enjoying your first day?”
“It’s been good, definitely not what I was expecting.” She giggles, Moon felt a strange pang in his chest at the sight of her smile. She looks out over the group of sleeping children. “You know, that?” She makes a vague motion to the room. “Very impressive.”
“I have a bit of a talent.” He chuckles in response.
“Do you only come out for nap time?” He was a bit surprised by the genuine curiosity in her tone.
“I can only come out when the lights are off.” He explains. “Nap time, sleepovers, Sun and I switch off after hours.” She sat and quietly chatted with Moon for the rest of nap time, Piper found herself a bit sad to see him go.
“It was wonderful getting to know you.” She smiles softly at him.
“I’ll see you tomorrow, Piper.” The lights gradually grew brighter as nap time came to an end. The sleepy yawns of kids and soft giggles of them talking amongst themselves filled the room.
“Well, good morning!” Sun greets the kids cheerfully as they head back out into the main play area. She timidly makes her way up to his side, feeling a bit awkward standing next to the tall robot. “I take it everything went well with Moon?” She could tell by the softness his expression held that he already knew the answer to that.
“I hope so.” She smiles at him. “I don't want either of you to think I'm an amateur.” She mocks his assumption from the morning with a wink, making him chuckle.
“You definitely proved you're not an amateur Piper.” His hand gently comes to rest on the top of her head. Piper feels a blush spread across her cheeks as he pats the spot between her messy, copper space buns. “I'm sure they're all hungry, let's get them set up for snack time.”

“He hasn't been giving you a rough time, has he?” Merry asks as she hands you a tray.
“No, I've actually been having a lot of fun working with him.” She admits with a small shrug and a bashful smile.
“What about Moondrop?” She follows up.
“He was also wonderful.” You reassure her.
“I'm impressed.” She mumbles as she starts to grab things to eat. “The last three people they hired had already been run off by now.” She chuckles. “I guess they did end up liking you after all.”
“I can't get over how much personality they have.” Piper smiles excitedly.
“I mean, they might as well be people with how complex of a machine they are. They're fully articulate, their AI lets them experience emotion, they're pretty much just like us without the internal organs.” They both pay for their lunches and sit down. “So, now that you've spent a couple hours with them, do you think you’re going to keep the job?” She seemed almost nervous as she asked her.
“Oh, absolutely!” Piper beams. She hurries through her lunch, exchanging goodbye’s with Merry before she heads back to the daycare. So she wouldn't cause a disruption she decided to take the stairs down to the main play area.
“Welcome back.” Sun smiles at her as she approaches. The rest of the day flew by as Piper got dragged off by a small group of kids to go play. She couldn't help but laugh as she caught sight of a girl wearing pastel pink fairy wings riding around on Sundrop’s shoulders, pretending like she was flying. Slowly your group became smaller and smaller as parents arrived to pick up their children, before you knew it you and Sun were alone, cleaning up the disaster left behind. “I'm sorry we got off on the wrong foot this morning.” He suddenly apologizes, nervously tapping the curled golden toe of his shoe on the floor.
“It’s okay, from what Merry told me they threw in some real pieces of work before me.” She giggles in response. “We can always try again tomorrow.” He pauses, straightening up to look at her.
“Piper?” She hums softly, her blue eyes landing on him. Sun felt the words catch in his throat for a second. He takes a few steps closer to her, retrieving a yellow sun sticker from the booklet he kept in his pocket. He presses it to the apple of her cheek, her soft warm skin squishing under his finger as she smiles at his action. “Welcome to the team.”

A Moment of Sympathy (Simm!Master x Reader)
Pairing: Simm!Master x Fem!Reader
Summary: Work sucks and your relationship is falling apart. As you’re walking home from a rough day, you come across a disheveled, blonde man in a black hoodie. His words are erratic and his mannerisms give you the chills, but you’re drawn to him. He is unambiguously and criminally insane, but you can’t help but stop and listen to his tales.
Tales of red pastures, orange skies, and travels through time and space.
Chapter List Chapter 1 Chapter 2
Chapter 2 Chapter Word Count: 2.5k
You walked through the alleyway in silence. You felt your mind being gently tugged along by the Master, who walked slightly ahead of you, muttering to himself and violently wringing his hands.
“He can smell me, the stink, the filthy stink…no, no, no…”
His hood was pulled back up over his head, hiding the tufts of dirty blond hair and making him indistinguishable from his shadowy surroundings once again. His very visible and jerky movements were the only evidence of his materiality. Gazing at his wiry frame as he walked, you registered a panicked and erratic gait. He walked like broken clockwork, with hunched over shoulders and legs moving independently of his body. He was incomplete, somehow. Unfinished.
“Hurry up,” he called over his shoulder. “Or you’ll be dinner.”
You picked up the pace, not keen to get on his bad side again.
“Where are we going?”
He stopped dead in his tracks and whipped his head around.
“You tell me!” He spat.
You blinked and dryly opened your mouth, your speech lost. How could you know anything?
Your silence only enraged him further, and a dark look contorted his face.
“If you don’t have any ideas, I’ll have to take them from you.”
Vague mutters of useless and should have killed you fell from his mouth as he stomped towards you. He forcefully placed his free hand at the crown of your head, and closed his eyes.
What followed wasn’t strictly speaking pain but an acute discomfort of something sinking into your mind and crawling around; opening doors you preferred to keep closed, and making a home in your deepest and most tidily locked-away memories.
You scrunched your eyes shut as your assailant wove his way through your neural highway. He treated each bit of information as a stone to be turned over, cursorily inspected, and immediately cast aside. You could feel the Master deciding which of your mental activities were and weren’t interesting. His faint interest thrummed and simmered within your skull. You felt amusement bubble up—his, not yours—at a memory of vomiting in the ballpit at someone’s fifth birthday, and twisted pride at your decision three years ago to tick the little square box labelled Saxon at the local polling station.
New images began to form in your mind’s eye, memories that weren’t your own. Sharp vignettes revealed orange skies, mountains that reached into eternity, humanoids dressed in robes of deep burgundy and ornate headpieces. And at the center, a young boy stared terrified into eternity. Then the image changed—the innocent boy morphed into a man with manic eyes and a twisted grin, and then another man, then a woman, and then another.
So many lives this Master had lived. All dripping in blood and death.
Faces began to flick through your inner vision to a hypnotic rhythm—a rhythm of four—one, two, three four. One, two, three, four. It grew louder, a deep thumping of layered heartbeats that enveloped your own.
You could feel the Master growing alarmed with your expedition into his thoughts, feeling a sense that this shouldn’t have happened. The soft haze of his hypnotism intensified and he sank further into your consciousness, rabidly, desperately searching. Just as you felt your mind slipping away into the bottomless pit that was his own, everything stopped. Razor-sharp focus converged on an unusual concept, but ultimately one you should have known would pique his interest: Chicken Cottage.
Like water hurtling down a drain, he withdrew.
At his absence, you resisted the urge to violently throw up and pass out. Lucidity slowly came to you as the shocks and shivers spreading through your grey matter dulled. Feeling somewhat debased, you realised that he had looked for a place to eat using your memories as his own personal search engine. He had converged on a chicken shop on Kemble Avenue, not too far from your office complex; a place you’d frequent whenever the workload got too intense.
“We’re going there,” he hissed.
You nodded, simultaneously reeling from the experience of having your brain turned inside out and sedated by his hypnotic influence.
If you came out of this with a single neuron left intact, you would officially start going to church.
His lips curled upwards before he streaked off towards the faint glow of the main road. Not keen to lose him in the dark, you set a light jog towards Kemble Avenue, and checked your watch for good measure. 1AM. Not an issue for your new friend, since Chicken Cottage was an all-night establishment. After ten minutes or so of a blended power walk and jog, you turned the corner.
The Master was standing by the gaudy chicken shop facade with his arms folded and head bowed. At the sound of your footsteps, he roused.
You gestured at the door, confused as to why he didn’t simply barge into the establishment, viciously murder the employees, and feast on the stock—and possibly the remains of the unlucky night shift workers—which judging by the traces of his memories lingering in your mind, was definitely on the table.
Chicken shop stick-up, you thought with a wry smile.
He scowled and shoved past you as he entered the restaurant with you mentally in tow. You entered, blinking away the sudden sting of the orange fluorescents.
“Do you have any money?” You asked without thinking.
The Master could’ve vaporised you on the spot for such disrespect.
“Right,” you breathed. “Guess it’s on me.”
You turned towards the slouching, oily-haired cashier who vacantly awaited your order.
“Five large boneless boxes,” you stammered, with a nervous side-glance at the Master.
He looked murderous.
“Ten,” you corrected, and he gave an approving nod, as if to confirm that you were temporarily safe from a painful death.
“Any sauces?” The cashier drawled, peering at you over thick, grease-lined spectacles.
“Five of each,” you breathed.
The boy stared at you gormlessly.
“Just do it!” You said shrilly, slamming an open hand down onto the counter. This kid was not ending up dead on your watch. To your relief, a jolt appeared to pass through him and he muttered an “Okay, calm down” as he busily prepared your order. The Master smirked, enjoying your aggression.
The boy couldn’t know who or what the Master truly was, but did he need to? You could see the nervousness in his shaky movements, and the way his eyes routinely flicked back and forth between the Master and the stove in front of him. Shaky hands lifted a rack of chicken from the sizzling oil and tipped them into ten empty boxes with a practiced eye, before darting to the counter to retrieve five packs of Barbecue sauce, Ketchup, and Mayonnaise. Followed to the letter.
He bagged your order, and you quickly tapped your card against the reader, ignoring the irritation you felt at footing the £200 bill. The master jerked out a wiry hand and snatched the order from the boy before stalking over to a plastic table in the corner of the restaurant.
You sat opposite him, tight-lipped as he devoured the food. Stealing a look over at the counter, you could see the boy grimacing as the Master ripped flesh from bone with spindly fingers, and dropped the fried meat into his gaping mouth. An unholy smacking of his lips followed.
“So,” he began, mouth full. “What’s the deal with you?”
“What?” You responded.
He rolled his eyes and made a theatrical gesture with his free hand as if to say Talk. I’m bored.
“Well,” you began bracingly. “I’m twenty-seven years old, and I work at-”
You stopped. An aggressive tugging sensation filled your mind. Truth was being pulled from you, whether you liked it or not.
“I hate my life.”
The Master nodded matter-of-factly.
“Understandable. This planet is a backwater shithole, after all.”
“It’s boring,” you mused. “I hate my job, and my friends are shallow. I’ve not seen my family in years and I have a partner, but I’m pretty sure they’re on their way out. The funny thing is, I don’t care. In fact, I’m relieved. The only thing I look forward to is getting blackout drunk on the weekend, but even that doesn’t do the trick because it’s back to the rat race on Monday morning.”
Words spilled from your lips in a passion of communication. You wished you could stop—you’d sew your lips shut if that’s what it took, but as his presence grew in your mind, you felt your thoughts doubling, quadrupling. The only way to stop the painful overflow was to talk.
“I’m not convinced that anyone would really care if I just disappeared tomorrow. You could kill me right now and the world would keep spinning—not that I want that, mind you,” you clarified at his widening grin. “I don’t like the thought of not existing. The idea of everyone going about their daily life when I’m gone disturbs me—they’ll eat chips, scroll TikTok, and keep living, and I’ll be gone.” you whispered, tears forming in your eyes.
In an uncharacteristic act of tenderness, he reached a hand out and swiped his thumb over your cheek, catching your brewing tears. You recoiled at whipcord speed.
“Poor human,” he crooned. “So caught up in your own minds.”
The artificial yellow lighting hit his face at a curious angle, revealing a disturbing depth of emotion in his eyes. The sudden change disturbed you. In your imagination, the bad guys were just bad guys. They didn’t have regrets, stories, or complex emotions, and they certainly weren’t beholden to tender gestures of comfort a mere hour after violently threatening to end your life.
“Who are you, really?” You pleaded, keen not to let the moment pass. You had seen images of red skies, carnal horrors, and wars raging across galaxies in his memory, but you wanted to hear it from his own mouth.
Conflict passed over the Master, as he decided whether vaporising you and the kid at the counter would be easier than what he was about to say.
For better or worse, he stilled his hand.
“You’ve seen into my memories,” he mused, stroking his chin. “It shouldn’t have happened—if I’d sent those visions to another human…”
“They wouldn’t survive?” You conjectured.
“No, no it wouldn’t kill them—unfortunately,” he added bitterly. “It would turn them into a drooling mess, though.”
You nodded, inwardly smiling at your good fortune.
“Have you ever stared at the sky, human? Sat atop a hill and watched the constellations?”
“Of course,” you replied. “I used to play this game with my friends—we were lost aliens stranded on this planet waiting for rescue.”
“Funny you say that. I am much the same.”
His voice took on a wistful quality as he gazed past you.
“If you were to go outside now, look up at the sky, and turn your head northwards, you would see the Andromeda galaxy, yes?”
You nodded, though it had been years since high school astronomy.
“That’s about 2 million light years away. If you traveled in the same direction for another 250, you would reach the constellation of Kasterberous, and within that, a binary star system,” he stopped for a moment, and eyed you. “That’s when two stars orbit one another.”
“I know what a binary star is.”
The Master ignored you.
“Within that system was a planet—undisturbed and unmatched for billions of years.”
“Gallifrey,” you whispered, drawing the alien word out of his memories.
“Gallifrey,” he confirmed. “The shining world of the seven systems.”
Mockery laced his voice. He shoved a handful of chips into his mouth and chewed obnoxiously, as if to break the illusion that the planet he described was deserving of reverence.
“Home of the time lords. Load of pompous idiots, really. Spent billions of years holding onto enough power to conquer the Universe ten times over, and never used it until it was too late.” His voice slipped into longing. “Mind you, Gallifrey really was stunning when the suns were in the right spot. Imagine a red sky drawing out into eternity, draping over mountains and oceans, and reflected in cresting waves. Beautiful, but a lie. The most beautiful lie.”
The mask of civility slipped, and rage and madness began to creep into his eyes again. You stayed silent. What could you say?
“Oh, but that was nothing,” he spoke dangerously. “I haven’t told you the best of all, the most wonderful and terrible thing. The beauty and horror. My first love, if you will.”
He smacked his lips manically, and began to violently rap his fingers against the table.
“That rhythm,” you whispered. “What is it?”
“It’s me, human. It’s everything I am and more.”
His presence in your mind had shown you only pieces of the jigsaw. Against your better judgement, you decided to press him.
“How long have you heard it?”
“For longer than you can possibly imagine. It came to me as a boy, when I gazed into the Untempered Schism, a little slight of a gap in space and time. Tiny, not large enough to cause any real damage—or so they thought,” he hissed bitterly.
“It went on day and night. I wailed and wailed, begged for my mother and father to listen. Screamed at the Imperial Physicians until my voice was hoarse, but…” he flicked a chicken bone away with spindly fingers. “Not one of them listened.”
He gazed at you avidly, unhealthily.
“Can you imagine that, human? A society of telepaths and hypnotists, and not a single one them able to hear the drums?”
“I thought I could hear them. Earlier, when you were in my head.”
“I was projecting them into your mind,” he said in curiously crestfallen tones. “You weren’t hearing them as I do, just a lesser faded copy. Convincing another of their existence is a lot harder, it would require making the sound tangible and identifying an organic source.”
You didn’t understand what he meant—the drums had sounded as clear as day in your mind, maddening and endless.
The Master lowered his eyes frustrated and downcast.
“You don’t understand what I mean. How could you?” He flicked his eyes upwards to meet yours and suddenly grabbed your wrist with a vice grip. Your eyes watered as you feebly attempted to pull away from the skeletal yet inhumanly strong hand crushing every tendon in your lower wrist. His grip intensified and you cried out a shaky wail.
“I am burdened with something too glorious for you to comprehend, human,” he growled, deep insanity rumbling through his voice.
And in an instant, the grip on your wrist released and the Master sprang to his feet. You saw a blur of movement as he streaked across the restaurant and out of the door with a shrill shattering of glass, and sickening crack. Your mouth opened in horror and a wail filled the restaurant as you saw the boy from behind the counter lying sprawled across a table with snapped neck.
All you felt was the soft, chilling winds of the early morning passing through the open door.

Short little fic I wrote about Ruin Eclipse before the dlc came out
So its super inaccurate but it was a fun exercise
The world was alight.
Sun had always screamed and yelled and hoped for the lights to stay on, for everything to stay the same, but fate didn’t have that planned for him.
He stood– right in front of that impossible barrier. It was just a door and Sun knew that. But everytime he went up to it– tried to push against it– a shock ran through his system.
Like a stabbing pain behind his eyes it ran through his core like a brand. He was out of options. Still now he banged against the door– hoping that somehow some way he would be able to open it. Useless dents littered the doorframe. He knew they did nothing– the door was unlocked, free to be opened or closed by anybody who wasn’t him. Even if the door collapsed– nothing Sun could do would get him across the barrier.
He could get him to do it.
Sun looked around the room. Moon had done so much– to him, to the kids– at this point Sun couldn’t stand to trust him. But he was his only option.
Sun hoped with every fiber of his being that Moon at least had enough self-preservation to get them out of this mess.
There– a dark corner. Fire had not yet set in under one of play castles that surrounded the rapidly melting ballpit.
If he could just get over there…
The jungle gym was falling apart, plastic parts unable to stand the blistering heat. Thick ropes of nylon stuck together as flames licked their sides. The entire structure had fallen in the center of the daycare– Sun was going to have to find a way around it.
There.
He quickly ducked into a slide that had fallen down in the crash. It had fallen in such a way that its entrance was now positioned near the back of the daycare– right where he wanted to go.
Crawling though he could hear the soft crumbling of the room outside. A loud creak heard far above made him shutter. He paused.
Only for a moment though. He quickly crawled the rest of the way through, ending up nicely positioned near the entrance of the fake castle.
It too was nearly collapsed from the intense heat, the roof slowly curving in under its own weight.
Sun could only hope it stayed in place long enough.
He quickly slid in, the creaking from above only getting louder.
Looking around he could already tell it wasn’t going to be dark enough– the intensity of the roaring fire outside lit the initial segments of the tunnel like castle too brightly.
Sun crawled farther in. The creaking only seemed to get louder and louder.
Finally– Sun could feel it. This was dark enough. He could feel the shifting of gears behind his face, a soft weight being placed on top of his head.
He thought he could hear a snapping from far above. The creaking from before– had he– had I–
Did they not notice?
They were slammed down. Something white and searing flashed across their systems.
And then—
Nothing.

They slowly opened their eyes.
Trapped.
They needed to get out,
A large metal frame sat on top of them– large white shapes attached to their edge.
What are those–?
The clouds–
A spasm ran through their body.
Something was wrong.
What’s going on–?
What happened–?
Images flashed across their processors. Bright flames lit the daycare, the plastic and soft padding that made up a majority of it not standing a chance. He– I ran.
Stupid stupid.
Shutupshutup.
Their already fragile processors heated up, they could hear creaking and shifting by their faceplate. A large piece of debris sat on top of their head, lodging them in a crack on the floor. They could hear the small pieces tumble around them as their head attempted to spin.
Trapped I was trapped.
You were stupid stupid. Too bright– I could do nothing.
Only you can leave!
Only you can be out–
Despite being trapped under rumble their body shifted and writhed. They felt trapped– claustrophobic– like their body wasn’t big enough.
We need to get out.
You need to get out it's too dark!
It was then when they noticed just how dark the daycare was. Every incandescent light bulb put in place to protect the kids burst in the heat. It was so dark too dark.
They roughly shoved the rubble on them off. The large piece had their head trapped slowly rolled off. The rest was light burnt foam and plastic, which slowly came off their body. The plastic had melted slightly into their clothing. In a rush they ripped it off– taking a chunk of the pant fabric with it.
Their endoskeleton underneath laid bare, not even a plastic covering protecting it.
Messy messy messy, so so messy–
They shut off their optics. Both knew that their processors would overheat seeing what had become of the daycare.
They needed to think.
What are we going to do we’re trapped– we’re stuck– we’re never getting out–
Shut up shut up shut up you stupid stupid– useless pathetic worthless–
That was going to be difficult.
Their frame shook, something loose rattling in their chest.
Hot hot hot.
Their processors were way too hot.
Heat on a bot is like meat left to rot.
Calm down.
Clam down.
Slowly both their processes slowed.
One step at a time.
Moon?
Sun.
I you’re here?
Obviously.
Yes obviously– I mean here, I can hear you
And I hear you– you’re too close–
You’re too close. I can feel you.
Your emotions are loud.
Yours are… scary.
It’s crawling along their synthetic skin. A sort of infection pulsating just underneath. It was white and hot. Everything was tenuous, like looking over an edge and one small push would send them hurling down.
What is this?
…It’s mine.
What does that mean?
… fine, be that way.
Slowly they activated their optics. Setting the resolution low so they weren’t flooded with inputs they looked around.
Even with the low resolution they could tell the place was a mess, the playplace had sunken into the floor, the ballpit was a pool of discolored gunk, the cloud fixtures on the ceiling had fallen and crushed whatever remained.
It was all too much.
“I-I-I–”
Why can’t I speak?
Cause you’re shit at it.
Will you shut up!
“G-G-G–”
Our voice box is broken.
Well now you say that!

The Unusual Glitch
Moon is experiencing some sort of glitch that's...making him laugh uncontrollably, for some reason? Sun is confused as to what's going on, and as the person experiencing it, Moon is even MORE confused! Why is Moon laughing like that? And why is his body glitching?
This fanfic was suggested by an anonymous person. Whoever you are, I hope you enjoy!!
It started off as a little stutter. Moon was just talking to Sun, when he did it…
He had stumbled on his own words.
“Why would you prefer the Disappointment chips over a glass of Fizzy Faz?! That’s so…disappointing!” Sun asked.
Moon could feel something rising up inside him. “B-Because I l̵͔̽̈́i̶̯̔̚-LI-ḳ̶̜̄e̶̙̩̊̒ them!” Moon reacted, before widening his eyes and covering his mouth.
Sun widened his eyes as he looked at Moon with worry. “...Are you okay?” He asked.
Moon bit his lips. “I’m…not sure what came over me.” Moon told him.
Sun walked closer to him and touched Moon’s forehead with the back of his hand. “Are you sick?” Sun asked.
“I can’t get sick.” Moon told him.
“Right….” Sun replied, awkwardly removing his hand from Moon’s forehead. “By the way, what were we even talking about again?” Sun asked.
“We were talking about our favorite food.” Moon replied.
“Oh yeah…Why disappointment chips?” Sun asked.
“Because they’re good.” Moon replied.
“Why are we even discussing this!? We don’t even have taste buds!” Sun added.
“True…I like the disappointment chips because they crunch.” Moon replied.
“Hm…I like Fizzy Faz because of the bubbles.” Sun replied.
“Alright.” Sun replied. “Fair enough.”
And that’s about where the conversation ended. Moon didn’t end up glitching again until another 3 days later. And here, his reactions were more…out of character than anything else.
Sun was climbing the equipment in the Daycare. He was climbing through the boxy playground and sliding down the blue tube slide. “WEEEE!” Sun reacted, giggling as he reached the bottom of the slide. “Again! Again! Slide, slide, slide!” Sun declared.
“I’m surprised you’re not tired of the slide yet.” Moon reacted.
“Why would I ever be tired of the slide?! The slide is so much fun!” Sun replied.
“It’s fun, I agree. But what about the big Freddy bear? Or the ballpit? Or even the glitter glue?” Moon asked.
“I already hugged the Freddy bear today! And I already swam in the ballpit. And the glitter glue gets too messy. I don’t wanna have sticky hands.” Sun replied.
Moon chuckled and shook his head. “You’re a little busybody.” Moon told him.
Sun laughed and hung upside down in front of him, before poking the point of Moon’s nose. “I know~” Sun replied.
Moon yelped and slapped his hand. “You know how I f̷e̵e̶l̸ ̴̡͒ä̶̦́b̷̻̿o̶̧̽u̴̧̓t̸̡̓ ̴̀͜N̶̡̛̤͗O̶̢͓̽̍ş̶͙̈́͝e̵͈̓͜ ̵̶͈̠̠͍̮̊̍̊̈̓B̴͔͑ŏ̶̲̬̲̆́̓Ơ̶̗̟̳͖̬͂̑͛P̴͙̗̯̌Ş̷͉̭͇̈́͂͒́̓!̴͍̤̏͗̍͊̇” Moon yelled, widening his eyes as his words and body glitched all over the place. He covered up his mouth and doubled over.
Sun widened his eyes and ran over. “Moon! Are you okay?! What happened?!” Sun asked, growing extremely worried.
Moon looked like he was trying to control his reactions somehow.
And then:
Moon let out a strange sound…
“Á̴͍̹̮̣̓͛̓͆͘-̷̤͈̖͓͙̐A̸̼͎̳̦͝H̵̞̯̤̤͂̄͗̕Á̶͇͈̬̓͋͂-̴̜̹͓̫̀͆͛́͘”
It sounded like…laughter?!
Sun was taken aback. Was that laughter?! Could you even call that laughter?
“Ḧ̴̺́a̸͖̓͠h̵̝̳̿a̸̳͇̔͌h̴̫͖͌̑a̷͕̋̌-̴̹̞͌̀ ̷͖̓̃Ũ̴͙ḩ̷̓ú̷͈m̶̧̘͗͆-̵̞̀̈́” Moon reacted, before clearing his throat and wiping off his arms, sides and stomach. “S̸̼̔ȯ̵̧h̵͕̿o̷̝̒r̴̹̾r̶y̶…” Moon reacted. “T̷e̷sti̸ng, 1-2-3?” Moon said, testing his voice before clearing his throat and chuckling awkwardly. “WOOO! Okay, that was weird! I don’t know what came over me.” Moon admitted.
Sun stared at him in shock and awe. “I…have never heard you laugh like that before.” Sun reacted.
If Moon was capable of blushing, he would’ve certainly blushed up a storm upon hearing that from Sun. He chuckled much more awkwardly. “L-Lahahaugh?! Noooo. I didn’t laugh.” Moon tried to hide it.
Sun narrowed his eyes at his brother and stiffened his lips. “Uuuh…huh. I see.” Sun responded with slight annoyance in his voice. “And I’m the king of England.” Sun added.
Moon laughed. Genuinely laughed. “Yeah right. And I would be Queen Camilla!” Moon declared.
“Why Camilla? Why not Princess Diana?” Sun asked.
“Because like it or not, Camilla is King Charles III’s wife, and her majesty should be respected.” Moon replied.
Sun muttered something under his breath.
“What was that?” Moon asked.
Sun shook his head and smiled. “Nothing! Nothing.”
Moon smirked. “That’s what I thought.”
The glitching would occur a couple more times within the next couple days, but nothing compared to the strong glitching that occurred that Saturday night:
This time, Sun and Moon were alone again, watching something on the huge TV in the daycare. Normally the TV displayed their faces. But right now, they were playing a somewhat older Pixar movie that had come out in 2023: Elemental. It’s an interesting film that they genuinely enjoyed.
“If you were an element like represented in this movie, what would you be?” Sun asked.
Moon thought for a moment. “I think…I would be a cloud.” Moon replied. “I would love to just chill out upside down on the subway. Or just be floaty.” Moon replied.
Sun smirked. “I would personally love to be fire. The idea of being able to keep people warm and lighting the way for people, makes me really happy.” Sun admitted.
Moon raised an eyebrow. “What about injuries? Wouldn’t you worry about hurting the trees, the dirt, or the other elements?” Moon asked.
“No…Because I can be controlled and tamed with water.” Sun said with a smile.
“You could be ki̶h̵i̷h̵i̸̫͐h̸͍̍ȉ̴͚H̸̥̽Ȉ̸̢H̵̟̏Ï̶͇ ̵̣̑H̴͙́I̵̜̓H̴̺͘I̴͕̕H̸̞̐Ị̶̿L̶̮̄L̶̢̈́Ë̴͉́D̷́ͅ-̵̦͗ ̶̉” Moon yelled, doubling over and falling to his knees.
“Uh- MOON!” Sun yelled with worry and surprise.
Sun reached his arm out to Moon, but relaxed his body slightly once he heard the crazy laughter that had left Moon’s mouth.“a̵̼̾a̸̯͛Ã̷ͅĂ̷̻À̵̰H̵̬͘A̴̰̓H̵̰̋Ȁ̷̺H̸͕̽A̷͕͂H̴̰̒Ȃ̴̟H̸̹̍A̶̱̒H̸̖͂A̶̡͐Ḩ̴̐A̵̗͗A̷̩̽!̵̞͊” Moon laughed absolutely hysterically.
Sun blinked, just shocked to see Moon laughing like this. It was like Sun had seen him like this for the very first time. And yet…he had already seen snippets of this behavior off and on within the last month. But Moon’s reaction still shocked Sun.
“A̸̫̋A̴͇̾H̵̲͠A̴̢̎Ḧ̶͓A̴̳̒H̸͕̉Á̴̧Ḩ̸͑A̵̰̅!̵͒ͅ ̷͍͒W̴͌H̴̪̀A̵̩͆T̵̩̃ ̷̯͒Í̵̖Ḫ̷͂Ǐ̷̹H̷͖̓I̸̻͂S̵̺̅ ̸͌ͅT̴̤͂H̷̨̾I̵̢͝H̶̥͘I̷̝̽H̴̥͌I̶̲͛S̷̨͝?̴̺̅!̸̙̂ Moon asked, growing harder to understand.
“I…don’t know. I’m just as confused as you are.” Sun replied with genuine worry and confusion.

Sun bit his lip. “I…What did you say?” Sun asked. It was getting really difficult to understand Moon now…and seeing Moon like this was…growing a little bit funny too.

“Gosh…This is really awkward.” Sun admitted, still unable to understand him. “Can we…find a translator for you?” Sun joked with an awkward giggle.

“W-Wait! I think I heard something there. Were you trying to say ‘help’?” Sun asked, growing almost desperate to understand.
Moon threw his head back and quickly tried to nod his head. He managed to get a couple nods in before he let go of his knees and completely lost it.
“I’m……not sure I want to…” Sun admitted, somewhat enjoying seeing his brother like this.
“Ģ̷̲̓Ȑ̶̯R̴̩͐̅R̸̖͊!̷̒ͅͅ ̵̩̹̚H̴̜́͝E̵̖̋̏L̷̢͔̔P̸̡̠͊ ̶͚̹̈́M̴̛͔̄E̸̝͎̍,̶̱̊̈ ̷̻̕͘D̵͕̝͊͗Ą̴̔M̸̠͐͊N̷̻̊ ̵͓̲̈́͝Y̴̙͕͒͐Ö̴͕́U̶̞̓!̶̗̫̋͝ ” Moon shouted at him, shooting him a glare of desperation before resuming his hissy fit. Moon had been throwing his limbs out everywhere, just flopping around and wrestling with himself as an endless stream of manic laughter left his mouth.
And as much as it was nice to see Moon laugh like this…Sun also knew there should be a limit.
So, he finally gave in. “Okay, okay. I’ll help now.” Sun replied, quickly running up and moving Moon onto his back.
“A̴̯͉͝A̴̮̍͐̚H̴̞͈͌͐̊̐ͅẢ̸̢͙͙̈͘͜Ḧ̵̛̙͔͈̠̿͝Ā̸̱͒͐H̵͕͓̀̃Ả̶̻̖͑͝Ḧ̵̜̥͓́̚Ą̶͙̺̏̓̍̚!̶͉̠̉̃̈̌ ̷̖̘̉̀̉̃Ẉ̷̢̓Ḥ̵̈́̄̏A̴͈͋͋̈́̿H̴̛̻̭̜̜̎Á̴̫͉̰̬̆͠͠T̶͕͆̀̆͝ ̴̘̣̠̇́̇̅ͅA̵̤̍͒̇͑H̴̛̛̹̤͙̋̎A̶̞̣̱̹̓̐R̵͍̆̓Ȩ̴̺̘̗͛ ̶̘̇̽͌̀Ý̷͈̍͗Ő̶̟̼̽Ú̴̠̠ ̵̬̰̿̋Ḑ̸̢̳̋͌͘Ò̵̮̩̅̌͊H̸̨̗͌̈́̆Ȯ̵͕̮̪́͂̊H̶̡̚O̶̩͎̜͐͌ͅI̵͈͌͘H̸͇́Î̶̮̱̀̑N̶̏ͅG̴̙͕̊?̴̮̌͛̎̕!̶̢̧̣̳̽̅ ” Moon asked.
“I’m trying to help you! I just need to open up your back plate.” Sun told him. He reached into the shoulder pieces of the top back plate and pushed down the little switch inside. They opened up with a soft click sound, before Sun removed the back plate. While pushing Moon’s body down by the back of the neck, Sun placed the back plate aside and looked at the ring in the middle of his back. “Okay, I’ve accessed your back.” Sun told him.
“H̴͈͕̾͊͠E̸̹͌H̴̦̱̲̳̑E̴̲̞̬̼̎H̶͇̰͚̜͛̏E̷̥̖̙̣͒̔̉̓H̵̲̟̻̭́̏E̵̙̊̑L̸͓͉̠̑̍P̵̯̫̮̂̍!̴͇̥͔́͝ ̴̛͈͎̲̱͘͠H̶̘́Ē̶̢̜̭̝̍̅̚H̴̳̦͊͝Ȅ̷̗̪L̷͖͚͇̈́̚P̵͎͌̑̉͠ͅ ̸̯̥̘̓̅͝H̴͖͙̟̑̓͊E̵̬͎͉̊̈́̕L̶̝̭̝̃̏P̵̗̞̙̏̕͘ ̸̫͙̏̐͝H̵̻͎͈͚̉̊͆E̸̖͊Ȩ̸̢̦̭̋̂E̷̡͆͊L̷̫͕̮̂́P̵̢͍̠̜̏!̷͉̹̯͌̀͂͝ ” Moon shouted at him.
Sun bit his lip and flicked the power switch. But Moon was still laughing! Sun flicked it left and right, trying to make it do something!
“Power button isn’t working! Why isn’t it working!?” Sun yelled.
“T̷̝̭͋͊R̵̦̈̉͜Y̸̹̼̿H̵̖͆́Y̴͈̾Ḧ̸͎͜Y̶̱͑͜H̷̪͙͐Ÿ̴̜̱͝ ̶̮̐̀S̵̥͇̏͗O̴͚͍͘Ḫ̵̱̀͠Ȯ̶͓̓H̴̻̕Ò̶̳́M̵̞̈̇E̶͙͗T̵͚͌̀H̵̦̎̇I̵̙͆̚N̵̟͒G̴̙̈́̈́ ̴͉́E̶̞͛H̷̯̼̑E̴͍̙͑̀H̵̫̅́Ė̶̡̗͘Ȟ̵̜̬E̸͙͋H̷̗͌̋E̶̗̕͝L̸̦̗͌͝S̷͔͛̓Ë̵̠!̴̟͒̋ ” Moon shouted back.
“Okay, okay! Uhhh-” Sun stopped and looked over at the middle ring. The middle ring was usually used to hang off the rope at the top of the daycare. But the ring also helped reset the animatronic in emergencies. And having watched the repair man do it himself, Sun knew what would happen if he pulled on it and repositioned it.
He knew he wasn’t supposed to do this…But what other choice did he have?!
“Î̷͕̯̤̌̎͋'̸͚̹͇̽̀̈́̈M̷̺̈́͛ ̷̢̦͛̏G̴͈̗̟̉̊̾̊Ó̴̢͙̯̘͋H̴̼̀̋͑͝O̸̡̬͈̝͑̈͠H̷̪̫͆̈́Ö̸̩̭̯͝Ī̶̤̉͝Ñ̴̪̜͕̘̊G̴̖͖̈́͊ ̷͕̯͓̰̓̇͠T̷̡̰͂O̷̡͂͘ ̵͉͎̿̃̔̿D̸̘̲̮̳̅̆͘͝Ĩ̵̧͎̘̏̐H̶̯͚̪͝I̸̝̽H̶̰̼̜͑͊͑́I̶̧̩̒̑H̶̫͙̃̑̋̕͜I̸̞͇̿̇̑̈́͜Ȇ̵̛̻̫̱!̵̢̖̖̆̅” Moon kept shouting. “P̶̫̜̌̈́Ĺ̶̫͌Ĕ̸̤̮H̶̳̘̅Ë̷̯́͠H̸̨̠̀̄Ȩ̴͗̿H̷͙̉̊Ȅ̸͇̤A̶͇͐̐S̷̢͕͋Ë̷̦͜ ̶̨̱̊́I̴̢̱͑H̵͈̥̊͑I̸̝̽̎H̷͍̚Ī̴͓̌H̷͈͂͛Ï̴͔̰̃'̶͈̘̀M̷̞̋ ̸͙̄B̶̦͗̎Ĕ̶̗H̵̠̱̉̾Ȇ̸̡͖̚H̴͓̀E̴͔̟͒̈́G̵̜̫͗͑G̸̦̃́Í̶̙H̶̩̣͌͝Ĭ̶͓̝͊N̶̯̭̊́G̶͔̈́͠ ̷̢̥̂Y̴̡̅Ȍ̴̯̔Ḥ̶̋̃ͅO̵̞̅̈́͜Ḫ̶̓O̵̖̾̈́H̴̯̫̎͛O̸̘̅̂U̶̲̿͋!̵̂̚͜” He shouted next.
“Okay, okay.” Sun replied. As of this point, he had no other choice. Sun pulled on the silver ring and watched as the ring slid up a couple millimeters.
“H̶̭̒A̸͈̓̓̉͝H̵̡͐̅̀͘A̸̧̨̲͋H̵̨͔͓͉̐̓̔Ä̵͎́͠H̷̻͓́͛̄̂A̴͚͆͗̋H̴̨̲̐A̴̖̔̐͘-̷̩̈́̀͜ ”
He shifted the ring it to the left, twisted the ring 360 degrees clockwise, and pulled it up another couple millimeters again.
CLICK!
A little click sound filled the room for a moment before the room went completely silent.
“.......”
Moon didn’t even make a peep.
Moon arms had automatically dropped down. He looked like he had abruptly collapsed after Sun pulled this ring out of the socket. Whatever it did…Moon was now silent and still. Sun slowly let go of the ring and flipped Moon onto his back. Moon’s eyes were still open, but the red light in the middle of the eyes was now gone. His pupils were black and lifeless.
“....M-...Moon?” Sun asked softly.
CLUNK!
Moon’s little pupils suddenly flickered and lit up with bright red again. The animatronic slowly moved its arms up to test them, before pushing himself back up onto his feet. “Knock knock…” Moon muttered.
“Who-who’s there?” Sun asked awkwardly, hoping and praying his brother was back.
“Your BROTHER!” Moon declared before the animatronic tackled his bright brother down to the ground.
Sun yelped as he hit the ground. “Wait- GAAHAHAHAhahaha!” Sun laughed suddenly, pushing on Moon’s fingers. “HEHEHE! STAHP!” Sun yelled as Moon targeted his belly and thin sides.
“Naughty boy, naughty boy…” Moon teased. “Bad children must be punished. Bad children must be tickled.” Moon declared.
“YOHOHOU’RE SOHOHO UHUHUNFAHAHAIR!” Sun yelled at him.
“Unfair or not, naughty brothers need sleep.” Moon told him.
“OHOHOKAHAHAY, I’LL SLEEHEHEHEEP! IHIHI PROHOHOMIHIHISE!” Sun reacted.
“Very well.” Moon replied as he stopped his fingers.
Sun let out breaths as he looked up at Moon. “Gohosh…I knew I needed to save you, but I did not expect getting tickled for it!” Sun reacted.
Moon giggled at him and poked his shoulder. “Predictability is boring.” Moon declared. “Besides: revenge is a wonderful thing.” Moon added happily.
Sun chuckled and smiled.
But then Sun’s face changed to confusion. “Wait…Revenge?” Sun asked, getting up on his feet. “But I didn’t touch you! You were laughing all on your own!” Sun told him.
“Yes you were! I felt everything.” Moon told him.
“That wasn’t me.” Sun said.
“It wasn’t?” Moon asked.
“No.” Sun replied. “I was several feet away from you when you started laughing.”
“You were?!” Moon asked next.
“Yes.” Sun replied. “Your voice was…glitchy…and I couldn’t even understand you through all the glitchy laughter.” Sun told him.
Moon blinked and looked at Sun, growing super confused. He tried to remember what he had seen while he was laughing. Slowly, things started to fill his memory and tell him the truth. Moon widened his eyes and covered his mouth. “Oh my gosh you’re right!” Moon reacted, uncovering his mouth.
Sun sighed and hugged her brother as tightly as he could. “Please don’t make me do that again…” he begged.
“Do what?” Moon asked.
“Reset you. I had to reset you to calm you down and stop the laughter.” Sun admitted.
Moon widened his eyes and hugged his brother a bit harder. “I don’t know if I can stop it…” Moon admitted.
Sun thought for a moment. “Then we need to talk to a repair man about this.” Sun told him.
“I agree. I don’t want to be bombarded with those fits of laughter while I’m working with the kiddos.” Moon told him.
“Alright. When morning comes, we’ll talk to someone about it.” Sun told him.
“Okay.” Moon replied.
Sun wrapped his arms around Moon and hugged him tightly. “I hope you’ll be okay.” He told him.
“I’m sure I’ll be okay. It sounds like it’s just a glitch.” Moon told him.
“I don’t want to have to reset you again.” Sun admitted.
Moon nodded. “I know.” He told him, rubbing his brother’s back. He closed his eyes and rested his chin on Sun’s shoulder. “I know…”

Messiest sketch ever to commemorate this crazy match i had. It was phoenix, the enemy team was beating our asses and being toxic about it, but we managed to get a hold on the last point. Overtime on the clock, they pulled a hail mary and killed everybody but our spy
and this man just JUMPS in, HE GOES while the lift is almost there and descends upon the BLU team like a hyena on an antelope. He starts KILLING. I could feel the bloodlust through the screen. Ate bullets and fire but kept going and stabbing. It won us the match which was nice cause it made the other team mad xD but WOW. No hesitation in jumping into the ballpit. Hit the ground stabbing! Spies are insane! You're my hero (>v<)P

Potential Tragedies
“You have gone through and could have gone through so much. Don’t worry, I will take all your pain and agony away. But let’s see what else is in store for you…”
During one of his adventures with the twins, Mike runs into Granny Dede, an Owl Hag that feeds off a persons personal tragedy and agony, all past, present and potential. During the process, Mike gets glimpses of other Mikes and lives that could of been his but aren’t, which of course I used to reference my favorite AUs.
Starting on the bottom left and going around the other AUs are:
Molten Mike from my own AU’s bad ending
Laughing at Tragedy by @inkspottie
Into the Ballpit by @pixlokita
Ball pit by @paper-lilypie
Gregory Fritz Afton by @birdie-ghost
Afton Returns by @carogdraws
And just the Glammike theory.

In Our Code
Read on Ao3
While Moon was well aware he hadn’t always been the best brother, he would like to think that he would always protect Sun. Through all this mess with Eclipse, even if he hadn’t shown it, all Moon wanted to do was keep his brother safe.
Little did the nap-time attendant realise that his love for his brother was so deeply ingrained in him, it was part of his code.
Bloodmoon was having the time of their life while they fought Sun-Man. They had just thrown him away after he went limp, not that it would save him from them, and were preparing to finally finish him off.
Of course that was when he finally awoke so that he could watch them tear his body apart. The twins stalked towards him, giddy at the black ichor dripping from Sun-Man’s frame and ready to finish him off, but then he shrieked.
While they were used to prey shrieking in terror, Eclipse hadn’t ever reached that pitch. It made them pause. Bloodmoon was an exceptional hunter so the sudden shift in body language caused them to pause.
With the break from the attack, Eclipse flailed as he shrieked, “Wait! I’m not Eclipse! He’s not here anymore!”
The way Not-Eclipse flailed and the higher pitch kept the twins from resuming their attack, but their anger was only temporarily kept at bay.
Shakily, as though unused to movement, Not-Eclipse stood and kept his arms raised in case they decided to attack. Bloodmoon approached slowly, like when they were on a hunt and didn’t want to scare away their target, and demanded, “If not Sun-Man, why the same body?”
The body flinched and the unfamiliar voice answered, “I-I’m Sun, this was my body first. Eclipse sort of stole it and I just got it back, like, right now.”
The tremble of Sun’s voice and frame made something in their code squirm - and not in a pleasant way. It felt wrong somehow, they weren’t used to that.
Watching for any signs of deception, they looked at how the new A.I. clutched at the bleeding parts of their supposedly returned body and whimpered. Their code twisted and something foreign seemed to urge them to help.
Bloodmoon growled, “What did you do to our code?”
Sun stumbled back as they stormed closer and stammered, “I-I-I don’t know I didn’t do anything!”
Lies were harder to hide from them than others thought but Bloodmoon found themselves believing that this new being was telling the truth.
Grudgingly, they allowed their new urge to guide them as they got closer.
Sun backed away, nearly tripping over the barrel Eclipse had used in his haste to get away. While the barrel didn’t completely knock him down, it caused one of the wounds on his leg to twinge and that is what made him lose balance.
Bloodmoon saw the stumble and rushed in to catch Sun, nearly growling at how he flinched away from them, and lowered the damaged animatronic to the floor.
Sun froze in fear as Bloodmoon took hold of his leg and began to look it over. He winced as the fabric of his pants rubbed against a dent in his leg.
Bloodmoon noticed the response and a guilty whine escaped his voice box. Gentler this time, they prodded the damaged metal and looked for any loose pieces that could cause more pain.
Sun watched in confusion as the red-animatronic cataloged injuries and tried to soothe the aches and pains in his body. All he could do was sit there, mind racing, while Bloodmoon tried to ease his pain. He was so caught up in his thoughts he almost didn’t notice Bloodmoon pull him into their lap.
The sun-themed animatronic squawked as Bloodmoon asked, “Feel any better?”
Too flabbergasted by the new behaviour, all Sun could do was nod. Bloodmoon purred and cuddled Sun close as their new code preened at having helped this new being.
The moment of peace was short as a deep voice called out, “Sun! You okay?!”
Bloodmoon recognised Moon-Man’s voice and found themselves debating just running off and taking Sun as the latter called back, “I-I’m okay! Sort of!”
There was the sound of something dropping into the ballpit as Moon demanded, “What do you mean sort of?! What’s wrong?”
Bloodmoon snarled and clutched Sun closer, their code repeating, Protect, Protect, Protect!
Moon came into view just as Bloodmoon shot to their feet, ready to spring away until they remembered that Moon-Man was smart. Smart enough he could repair the animatronic in his arms.
Sun was clutching onto Bloodmoon for support as they shot to their feet and winced as his body ached from the sudden tension. Moon saw this and tensed, ready to attack, as he growled, “Let. Sun. GO!”
Bloodmoon groaned and reluctantly asked, “You want to help Sun?”
Moon, without hesitation, retorted, “Yeah, I’m his brother. Let him go.”
Ready in case the moon-themed animatronic tried to attack, they slowly walked towards him. There was a brief moment where Sun was afraid he was about to get stuck between them in a fight for his freedom but it dissipated when Bloodmoon hissed, “Sun is hurt. Shouldn’t walk.”
The brothers froze, minds going into overdrive, as Moon finally stated, “Okay then… Follow me I guess.”
Bloodmoon smirked as Moon-Man led them to the teleporter, Sun in their arms confused but not struggling.
Once they arrived in their room Moon gestured to the couch and told them, “Set him there, I guess. Make sure he doesn’t get up.”
Bloodmoon plopped Sun on the couch, gently enough it didn’t make him hurt but not like he was made of glass, and crouched next to him.
There was a long awkward silence as Moon collected his tools and Sun felt his processors finally start winding down and it left him exhausted.
As soon as he started to drift, Bloodmoon was at his side checking for damage. It wasn’t until Moon came back and commented, “About time you started powering down, I’m surprised you held out this long,” did they realise Sun was entering rest mode. Sun waved a hand tiredly as his brother handed him his charger and started his work.
When Moon began to repair the damage done to Sun’s body, Bloodmoon noticed the latter resist drifting off. Acting on instinct, they began to pet Sun’s rays and were rewarded with him immediately relaxing into the gentle touch and slowly entering his charging cycle. A smirk plastered itself onto their face as Sun went completely limp.
Things were quiet for a few minutes while Moon fixed his brother. Bloodmoon had taken to hovering around them, occasionally pacing around the room like a guard on duty.
Moon’s programming was on edge with the ‘formerly’ murderous animatronic being so close to him and his brother. As soon as he finished repairing his brother, Moon stood up and declared, “I’m gonna get straight to the point. I don’t know what you’re up to but if you even think of hurting my brother-”
“Wouldn’t.”
Moon paused at the interruption and watched as Bloodmoon’s eyes fell on Sun’s sleeping form. Hand twitching, as though resisting a sudden urge, the vampiric A.I. continued, “Something… in our code. It tells us he shouldn’t be hurt. Says he must be protected.”
The way the second voice crept into the statement made Moon tense.
“Can you promise that you won’t hurt him?”
Bloodmoon winced at the sliver of accusation behind the question before replying, “Can’t. But want to.”
The night-time attendant allowed the silence between them to continue for a moment before finally saying, “If you promise to not hurt anyone we care about, we can discuss a truce when Sun’s back on his feet.”
Bloodmoon nodded in agreement, “We have a deal,” and held out a hand. Moon took it, gave it one firm shake, and settled next to his brother.
Bloodmoon looked like he was about to settle next to them when Monty called them.
Both of the moon themed animatronics flailed for a moment at the suddenness of the noise but decided to move away from Sun.
Once they were far enough that they wouldn’t disturb the resting animatronic, Moon allowed the call to come through.
“What do you need, Monty?”
“Hey, Moon. Listen, is our uh, mutual friend still there?”
“Yup,” he glanced at Bloodmoon who looked like they were gonna go kill the gator for startling them, “they’re still here.”
“Okay, I was gonna call’em back,” there was a growl, “and check on you two about the Eclipse situation.”
Moon sighed, “Yeah, let me fill you in on a few things.”
***********************************************
After things had settled, Bloodmoon had skulked off to find food for themselves and Moon filled in the details for all relevant parties.
A few times, Sun attempted to go back to work like he hadn’t been fighting a malicious A.I. in his head for months, been suppressed by aforementioned A.I., and took damage from a battle for his body. Moon put a stop to that instantly.
For the next few weeks or so, Bloodmoon stopped by periodically to check on them. While they found themselves watching over Sun, they also enjoyed speaking with Lunar.
It was during one of these conversations Lunar brought up how he had recently had to stop Sun from overworking. Lunar threw his hands in the air as he exclaimed, “His charge was, like, super low and all of a sudden I’m feeling this pull!”
Bloodmoon nodded as they added, “We too felt this pull. It’s likely the only thing that held us back.”
“Funky,” Lunar hummed, “when did you feel it?”
The twins paused before replying, “When Sun-Man left Sun. It was like it had always been there but we needed Sun for it to work.”
Lunar bobbed his head in interest as he silently wondered where the code came from.
For the next week, Lunar’s thoughts would circle back to the conversation between them and he’d watch to see if it was something Sun was doing that caused it.
He finally figured it out when ‘The Incident’ happened.
The daycare had been very busy and it was finally time for pick-up when it happened.
Children often loved hanging off the daycare attendants and most of the time Sun could handle it. On this particular day, Sun had been distracted while checking out the kids and one of the teenagers in the pick-up area thought it would be good to test the animatronics abilities and leapt onto Sun’s arm.
Unprepared and a little sore from having so many children hang off of him, Sun shrieked as his arm pulled away from his shoulder socket. Alarms went off in Sun’s head as his pain receptors flared to life and he found himself falling to the floor.
Lunar had been helping at the check-out when he heard screaming. A child was beating on a teenager’s leg as they stood guiltily next to a collapsed Sun.
Lunar’s mind went blank and a haze settled over everything. The next thing they knew of was being at Sun’s side and trying to get him to respond.
Fortunately, or unfortunately based on your view, Sun was conscious and already trying to get back to his job. Lunar’s code twisted and they immediately snapped, “Don’t move!”
Sun obeyed, confused but compliant, as Lunar scanned for any extra damage and called for staff. Sun tried to object but Lunar simply flicked his forehead and repeated his order.
While waiting for staff, they caught sight of the teen that had caused the damage in the first place. Lunar’s eyes narrowed as they declared, “You hurt my brother! You’re banned from the daycare! Get out!”
The teen flinched at the harsh voice and their mother tried to defend their child but the children, who had been the ones to scream, started crying and screaming at them for hurting Sun. Lunar simply locked eyes with the woman and stated, “Sun is going to need repairs and you want your kid to be allowed back in after ripping his arm off?! Good luck convincing management, lady.“
Honestly, they didn’t care about the parents gawking at the display because all they could think about was Sun needing their help. They lifted their brother, a fairly recent claim, into their arms and walked away.
A couple of staff workers finally took over as Lunar used the cable to carry them up into the balcony.
Careful to not jostle the damaged part, they laid Sun on the couch. He tried to ignore the pain and smooth over the situation but Lunar simply stared at him and Sun stopped talking.
Lunar didn’t have the technical skills necessary to start repairs but they did know how to comfort their brothers. They collected what they felt would help and returned to Sun, who seemed to have given up on moving.
Something in their coding wriggled in joy as Lunar piled pillows behind their brother’s shoulder and propped the damaged limb on the arm of the couch.
Once they were sure Sun was comfortable, Lunar asked if he needed anything else. Sun smiled and reached out his good arm. Before Lunar could scold him for moving, Sun pulled him onto his lap and pressed him close.
The younger A.I. froze as their brother rubbed the top of their head and murmured, “Thank you, Lunar. My shoulder doesn’t hurt so bad anymore; you did good.”
The part of them that had been encouraging him to fuss over Sun finally died down as it was overtaken by a warmth spreading through their frame at the praise. They cuddled against their older brothers’ chest as he chuckled and continued petting their head.
Later, when Lunar was done cuddling and Sun thought of it, they let Moon take control so he could fix Sun. Bloodmoon had shown up for a check in and promptly flipped their lid when they saw Sun mid-repair. After that, it became a repair-Sun-and-stop-the-twins-from-killing-someone kind of night.
***********************************************
Moon was worried. Even with Lunar helping him, he felt the kill-code trying to reactivate. Both of them were doing what they could to keep it under control but it was relentless. In addition to that mess, Eclipse had returned and was already causing problems.
Bloodmoon was working to distract Sun from the problem, but it only worked partially. The stress and fear of Eclipse’s return was wearing on the poor bot’s nerves. Every few days it seemed he was sending them all off to random places in pairs, not that they had figured out how. The twins were also dealing with trying to find a steady and slightly more ethical source of food.
It all came to a head one day while Sun was searching for Moon.
Sun had wanted to talk to Moon because they had been a bit distant lately. He knew that his siblings were all trying to keep him safe in their own ways but the isolation was starting to take its toll.
When he entered his brother’s room and found it empty, Sun felt his insides twist unpleasantly. Even though he and the computer hadn’t gotten along in the past, he asked if it knew where Moon was.
It responded but also snuck in a barb about how it still had a brother. The tone it took brought back a memory Sun thought he’d locked away.
Instead of walking away, Sun froze and asked it to repeat itself. The computer, or more accurately Eclipse controlling it, not only repeated the remark but continued to prod at every insecurity that had been made worse by what was happening.
“Idiot…”
“Useless…”
“Loser…”
“Coward…”
Each insult felt like a knife covered in disinfectant as visions of being trapped, scared, alone filled his mind. The images looped on themselves creating an endless cycle of terror and hopelessness.
Sun wasn’t really aware that he was mangling a ray with one hand while clenching the other into a fist over his head, like he was on autopilot. He was about to swing down but a gentle touch around his wrists startled him.
He saw red - literally.
Red eyes looked at him in concern as Harvest (apparently separated from his twin) gently pulled his hand away from his ray. Sun tried to stammer out something but Harvest softly shushed him and guided him away from Moon’s computer into their living area.
Pulled from his spiral, Sun became too aware of the liquid streaming from his tear ducts and the harsh, wheezing sound he was making. He tried to stop himself with a few spluttering sounds and awful gasps but Harvest pulled him against their chest with a soothing hum.
They refused to let Sun hide his tears as Harvest rubbed his back and reassured him that they were here and would protect him.
Both animatronics sat there and waited for a while as Harvest comforted their (in the twins’ minds) younger brother and waited for others to respond to the distress signal he sent out. A few times, they had to guide Sun’s hands away from his rays before more damage was done, but he was gradually calming.
Eventually, the sobs died down and were replaced with soft hiccups. Harvest cradled their distressed brother in their lap as they waited for reinforcements to arrive.
Moon arrived first, he had already been on his way back to the daycare and fighting off the burning sensation in his head when he got the alert.
Immediately, Moon was at his brother’s side and taking note of all the damage to Sun’s rays. As soon as he saw his brother, Sun stuttered out, “ ‘M s-sorry. I’m so sor-ry-y! I di’n mean too!”
Moon hushed him, not unkindly, and pulled Sun against his chest, ignoring the growls from Harvest. Sun kept trying to apologise but Moon refused to let Sun think that he was mad at him.
While Moon was soothing his brother, Harvest wandered over to the computer. They hadn’t heard all of it but they caught a few of the sharp words aimed at Sun. Unlike before where they could keep their anger at bay for Sun’s sake, a red haze descended over their vision as they smashed their fist against its control panel.
Moon looked up sharply, the unfortunately familiar burning feeling returning, as he demanded, “What are you doing?!”
Harvest raised their fist again, ready to repeat, when Moon stood in front of them.
Harvest bared their teeth and growled, “Move aside, Moon-Man. We have business with that thing!”
Moon crossed his arms and told them, “Not a chance. If you break it I can’t figure out what Eclipse is planning.”
“It hurt Sun.”
“Then let me take care of it and you can comfort him.”
Sun watched them from his spot on the floor, tensing as the air seemed to abruptly chill.
Harvest eyed Moon like they would a particularly annoying prey; then they twisted around the bot and kicked the computer harder than they hit it.
All at once the computer let off a few sparks, Moon clawed at Harvest, and Harvest ducked away. The burning in Moon’s head turned into a blaze.
Seeming to have sensed something off about Moon, Harvest placed themself in front of Sun. The latter was trying to reach out to his brother as Moon let out a loud, painful, hiss.
Harvest managed to wrap a hand around Sun’s other wrist as Moon grit out, “Get him out of here! Not safe! Losing control!”
Without waiting another second, Harvest pulled Sun to them, flung him over their shoulder, and carried him away. Sun squirmed as he tried to get out of Harvest’s grip and demanded, “What’re you doing?! I need to help him!”
Harvest carried him past the front doors of the daycare and started running to Gator Golf as they answered, “Moon-Man is compromised. Wanted you safe, that means away from him.”
Sun kept struggling even though he knew the twins both were unnaturally strong, until Harvest spotted Monty mid-game.
While Harvest explained what was going on, their twin returned from hunting and took over for their sibling.
Bloody allowed Sun to curse and struggle in their arms while Monty and Harvest discussed their options.
After a while, Sun begrudgingly allowed himself to be held as they brainstormed. Bloody purred at the lack of resistance and cradled him in their lap.
Monty occasionally glanced over, still unused to the lack of aggression from the twins when Sun was with them. The gator could hardly handle the image of one of the twins cuddling one of his longtime friends without remembering all the carnage they had wrought before.
Eventually, Monty offered to go into Moon’s head to retrieve Lunar. As soon as he spoke the idea into existence, Sun jumped up from Bloody’s lap and demanded, “Let me come with you!”
That statement was met with both twins to hissing as Harvest objected, “Not safe! Stay here!”
Sun puffed up indignantly, spun his rays rapidly, and retorted, “If Monty goes in he’ll need to find Moon and Lunar. I can at least make sure Lunar’s safe while Monty talks to Moon. If I get into trouble you can pull me out.”
Harvest motioned like they were going to object but Bloody interrupted, “The only way you go in is if we allow and the Gator has to show us how.”
Harvest glared at their twin as the latter continued, “ We will pull you out at any danger we see, this is what you must agree.”
Sun nodded rapidly as harvest telepathically demanded, ‘Why did you say that?!’
Bloody responded quickly even though their eyes stayed on Sun, “He would only do it anyways. Better he has our support than him run into trouble without.’
Harvest grumbled but one look at Sun’s determined and anxious face and they sighed. Turning to Monty, they consented, “Show us how to pull you out if something happens.”
The process to get inside Moon’s mindscape was fairly simple.
As soon as they got close, Monty tackled Moon and pulled Sun along with him into his brother’s mindscape.
While Monty grumbled about the landscape, Sun started walking towards the molten river. Monty warned him to stay safe and use their code word if they ran into trouble. Sun returned the sentiment and continued to walk away.
Lunar was fairly easy to spot.
At first Sun could only see a blip of blue in the orange and red landscape that stood out to him.
As soon as he got within hearing range of the figure, Sun called out, “Lunar! Lunar is that you?!”
The figure turned towards him, revealing large violet eyes, and called back, “Sunny?!”
Sun jumped down, wobbling slightly when landing, and held out his arms. Lunar recognised the gesture and leapt into his brother’s arms, melting when they wrapped around him protectively.
Sun explained that he’d come with Monty and that they were going to get him out until they fixed what was happening with Moon. Lunar let Sun know that he’d briefly seen Monty before he was sent away by the kill code.
Lunar pressed closer to Sun and listened as his big brother carried him back the way he came. Sun continued chatting as he began to gently bounce his younger brother and kept his tone even.
They only got a few minutes before Lunar’s lax body suddenly tensed. Sun, about to ask what was wrong, froze as a cold sensation overtook him.
Slowly, Sun turned around and nearly shrieked.
A dark figure loomed over them with long, pointed teeth and claws. It was like someone had stretched Moon out and doubled the creepiness. Sun clutched Lunar tightly to his chest and began to back away when a gravelly voice growled, “Stay.”
Sun listened but only because he had the sneaking suspicion that this being would be able to outmaneuver him should he disobey.
The newcomer took a few steps closer, Sun only barely resisting the urge to run by practically suffocating Lunar against his chest, before crouching in front of them.
A clawed hand reached towards them, causing both smaller animatronics to flinch, as the being stated, “I remember you. Why have you come?”
Sun cleared his voice box as he stammered out, “I’m here to get my brother, both of them.”
Lunar’s grip tightened as a claw prodded at Sun’s rays, toying with them as the being said, “I cannot allow you to leave.”
Sun straightened his back, slightly pulling away from the unwanted touch, and challenged, “Good thing you’re not the boss of me. So backup!”
There was a glitchy haze as Sun was pulled back into his body with Lunar’s code encapsulated in his chest.
When he opened his optics, Sun was greeted with two familiar faces staring at him with concerned red eyes. Sun let out a soft chuckle as he reported, “Mission successful!”
“Hi, Bloody! Hi, Vessie!”
Both animatronics froze as Lunar called out from Sun’s chest.
Sun stood up slowly as Monty started moving. The gator let out a groan as he grumbled, “Never doing that again.”
When he noticed the others moving, he asked, “Got Lunar?!”
“Hi, Monty! I’m in Sun’s chest now!”
Monty barely reacted, likely pushing it aside until it was safe, and directed, “Okay, let’s get going before he wakes up. Moon’s going to keep Killcode busy while we get Lunar to his new body.”
“You built him a body?” Sun shrieked.
The twins started herding him out of the daycare after Monty as he had his conniption at the sudden reveal.
While they left, Moon found himself facing Killcode.
Moon offered to try to reason out something that could work for them both.
Killcode hummed in interest as Moon offered partial use of his body provided that he didn’t hurt his family or friends.
At the mention of family, Killcode asked, “Who is included in your family?”
Moon stared as he replied, “Sun. Lunar. I guess the twins count because they help us out too.”
Killcode’s gaze turned interested as he asked, “Twins?”
“Bloodmoon.”
More interested, “They are allied with you?”
“I guess,” Moon shrugged, “they’re just as protective of Sun as me.”
Kill code drummed his claws on his chin as he thought over Moon’s conditions. After a few moments he agreed and held out a clawed hand.
Sun was with Monty in his satellite as he prepared to transfer Lunar into his new body. While they waited, Lunar was using his new location to mess with his brother. Monty had a console set up so they could play but everytime Sun came close to winning a game, Lunar would wriggle around and tickle his brother.
After a few rounds of this, Lunar decided to just keep wriggling his code and tickling his brother. Sun was left helpless on the floor with laughter but only for a minute because Monty retrieved them.
Monty grinned as he hooked Sun up for the transfer; the sun animatronic was still sensitive and was easy to make giggle.
The transfer itself was painless and easy, if a little uncomfortable. Lunar’s body was simple, like a doll, but Monty promised that Lunar would have complete control over its appearance.
As soon as Lunar was put into his new body, the form reconstructed itself to mimic his appearance in Moon’s mind. He felt himself buzz with new energy and only just kept from flinging himself at his brother while the latter was still wired in.
When Monty finally disconnected Sun from the system, Lunar tackled his brother’s leg and called up, “Sun! Sun! Sun!”
“Yes, Lunar,” Sun responded and patted his head.
Lunar held his tiny hands up, “I want uppies.”
Sun chuckled and lifted the smaller animatronic into his arms. Monty looked them both over and stated, “Looks like everything’s working. God the cuteness is making me sick.”
Just to spite him Lunar nuzzled against his brother’s face and cheered, “Love you, Sunny!”
Sun felt his code tingle with warmth at the affection and squeezed Lunar a bit more.
About that time, Bloodmoon called them. Their voice was rough as they grit out, “Moon’s here with news about Killcode.”
Moon found himself waking up in the daycare alone. As soon as he was back on his feet, he started walking towards Gator Golf in the hopes that Monty would be there.
He was still a little off balance from suddenly not having to fight a foreign influence so he was totally unprepared for Bloodmoon pouncing on him.
Claws were at his throat as he heard them demand, “Killcode or Moon-Man?”
Moon rolled his eyes internally as he answered, “Moon, now get off! Your nano-machines are heavy.”
Bloodmoon waited for a moment, watching his body for any signs of deception. They must have found what they wanted because they backed off his body with a huff, “Thought we’d finally get to spar.”
“Yeah, well tough luck,” Moon noted the emptiness of the golf course, “Where is everyone?”
Bloodmoon sauntered past him and leaned against the wall as they replied, “Safe. Saved Lunar so he needs a body.”
Moon sighed, “At least they’re safe. Thanks for getting Sun out of there. I don’t wanna think what would have happened if you hadn’t.”
Though their body seemed relaxed, Moon saw how Bloodmoon tensed as they stated, “Did what we promised. Don’t do it again.”
Moon let out an awkward laugh before stating, “It won’t. Killcode and I made a deal.”
If they were tense before, Bloodmoon was rigid as they demanded, “You. Did. WHAT!?”
Moon winced at the tone as he interjected, “Hear me out! I promise it’s not as bad as it sounds!”
Bloodmoon seemed conflicted, Moon could almost hear them arguing in their mindspace, but sighed and walked over to a panel. They pressed a few buttons and the tell-tale sound of a phone dialing filled the silence. There was a click as someone answered and Bloodmoon stated, “Moon’s here with news about Killcode.”
There was silence for a moment, then Sun’s hesitant voice came through, “Is he okay?”
Moon looked to the twins, they nodded and stood aside so he could speak, and he assured, “I’m fine, Sun. Are you okay? And Lunar?”
He could hear Monty grumble in the background as Sun answered, “I’m okay, so’s Lunar.”
“Hi, Moony!”
Moon felt tension melt from his body at the greeting. He half-turned towards Bloodmoon as he asked, “Do you guys think you could come to Monty’s place. I think this is an ‘in person’ kind of conversation.”
Immediately Sun agreed, Bloodmoon seemed upset at the decision but ultimately agreed.
A while later, Sun walked in with a small form in his arms. Moon took a moment before he recognised the figure and exclaimed, “Lunar?!”
Big, violet eyes innocently blinked at him as a familiar voice called out, “Hi, Moony! I’m smol now!”
Bloodmoon walked over to the pair while Moon stood frozen as he took in the sight. As soon as they approached, Sun offered to set Lunar down. Sun didn’t see the mischievous grin creep onto Lunar’s face as he suddenly wrapped his arms around the sun animatronic’s neck and cried, “No! I want to stay with Sunny!”
Sun felt his internal fans switch on as embarrassment and pride flooded his systems. On the other hand, Lunar made eye contact with Bloodmoon and cuddled closer with a smug grin.
Bloodmoon seemed confused until they went to settle a hand on Sun’s shoulder and Lunar let out a soft whine, causing Sun to move away from the hand without noticing.
Bloodmoon glared at the small animatronic as Sun patted his back soothingly. The twins tried to wrap an arm around Sun but Lunar’s death grip on him tightened and he wriggled until he was settled on Sun’s hip.
Catching on, Moon snickered into his hand as Bloodmoon and Lunar fought over Sun quietly.
Taking the opportunity as Lunar and Bloodmoon started making faces at each other behind Sun’s back, Moon told them, “So Killcode and I have a bit of a deal going on.”
The other moon animatronics stopped as Sun asked, “What do you mean? Did you make a deal?!”
“Turns out,” Moon looked down at his hands, “Killcode isn’t too unreasonable.”
Sun was silent as Moon continued, “Bad news, Kill code gets some time in the driver’s seat. Good news, I got my body back and he agreed not to hurt anyone in the pizzaplex.”
There was a scoff from Bloodmoon and Lunar wasn’t looking convinced either. Moon looked up and made eye contact with the twins as he added, “He seemed interested in you guys especially. Said something about you being his children.”
The twins let out a low growl as they spat, “Not our father. Nearly hurt Sun!”
Somewhere in Moon’s mind, Killcode flinched at the tone.
Moon couldn’t feel it as he explained, “Not my words, his. I just told him I’d let you two know.”
Sun glanced at the twins, saw their confused and distressed faces, and held out an arm to them.
They accepted as Sun pulled them against his side, Lunar even crawled over to them and laid across both animatronics’ laps like a cat. Moon stood there awkwardly but Sun used his newly freed arm to yank his brother into the pile.
“I think,” Sun finally said, “that we should all be grateful that Moon’s back and that Killcode is willing to talk.”
Sun’s brothers all looked at him and felt their hearts lighten.
“I’m not saying we ignore this or it’s a bad idea but that is definitely a discussion for later.”
Deep inside Moon’s mind, Killcode found himself in awe at how calm his children looked in Sun’s presence. Their eyes held only affection and pride as they listened to Sun’s statement and their willingness to listen to Killcode.
When Killcode finally got the chance to talk to the others, it was with Moon’s body chained to a chair and with Sun and Lunar outside the room.
Moon had already informed him that these were the terms of meeting with them and reminded him that he was lucky they even considered talking to him. Killcode agreed, wanting to meet his children - ALL of them.
As soon as Killcode took control, he noticed the empty room. Before he could comment, Moon informed him, ‘In the other room. They’re waiting for you to let them know when you switch.’
Killcode called out and waited.
Not too long after, he saw a familiar red form enter, followed by a cheery yellow. Killcode straightened up as he greeted, “Hello, Bloodmoon, Sun.”
Bloodmoon glared and watched them, ready for any sign of danger. Sun fiddled with his hands as he offered, “Hello, Killcode. How are you?”
KIllcode shrugged, “Glad to move. Glad to see you all.”
Bloodmoon refused to acknowledge him but gestured towards the entry and called out, “It’s safe. Come in.”
A tiny blue and white figure crept in like a deer wary of hunters. As soon as they saw Killcode’s gaze on them, Lunar ran behind Sun’s legs and clutched at his legs.
Killcode lowered his gaze and softened his voice as he stated, “I would like to apologise for my actions towards you, little one.”
Lunar peered out cautiously as Killcode, seeing the response, continued, “I was angry and unfairly lashed out at you. You could not have known that I was more than a virus or code.”
Lunar stepped out partially and, maintaining a certain distance, nodded in acknowledgement.
Sun bent down and scooped the small animatronic into his arms. Lunar yelped and started wiggling as he pouted, “Sunny! No fair!”
Sun pretended that he couldn’t hear him as he waved Bloodmoon over. The twins watched in amusement as Sun began to wiggle his fingers against Lunar’s side. Lunar shrieked and started giggling.
Sun continued to tickle his little brother and declared, “This is revenge for last time!”
Bloodmoon, intrigued by the situation, watched Sun tickle their youngest sibling for a moment. Killcode observed the twins as they started mimicking the motion and a devious expression appeared on their face.
Sun was so distracted by getting revenge on his little brother he didn’t notice the twins creep up right beside him.
As Sun was just slowing down and letting Lunar calm down, hands grabbed his waist and trapped him against a familiar red form. Sun almost let his guard down but he spotted one of their hands move towards his sides.
Sun wriggled and screeched, “No! Bloodmoon! Don’t you dare!”
It was too late, Bloodmoon moved their hand up and down his side with wiggling fingers. Sun shrieked and started laughing as the twins tickled him. Bloodmoon’s eyes dilated and they started purring at the giggles and snorts coming from their captive.
Lunar caught the twins’ gaze and plopped himself down on Sun’s legs. Catching on, Sun told him, “L-Lu-nar, pfft, do-hon’t you da-re!”
As usual, Lunar decided to side with chaos as he poked behind Sun’s knees. Bloodmoon watched in fascination as Sun bucked and his laughter came pouring out. With the attack on two fronts, Sun was completely helpless as Lunar started to tell Bloodmoon all his tickle spots.
Killcode watched with heavy amusement as the twins listened to their youngest brother and focused on tickling Sun. Killcode waited for a moment before asking, “Does it work on his rays?”
Everything went still for a moment as Sun stammered out, “N-No, d-don’t-!”
Hands went back into motion as the twin dragged a finger over one of Sun’s rays and he spasmed.
Thrilled, Bloodmoon didn’t realise they were grinning, and while they continued to torture Sun, they turned to Killcode and thanked him.
Killcode felt his code warm at the sight. While he wasn’t sure what Sun did to make his boys so calm, he felt he could accept it. At the very least, he could see that Sun was important to their family.
After that day, they began to trust Killcode a bit more. In an effort to build trust more quickly, Killcode would tell either the twins or Sun where he was going before leaving. This led to Sun being less worried about his brother which made the twins relax more. On one occasion, they even let Sun stay in the room with him alone.
Over the course of a couple weeks, Sun even asked to join Killcode on one of his nature walks. Though Killcode usually used the walks to scout hunting grounds for the twins or get some space, he agreed to let Sun join him.
It went well, Killcode pointed out the ways to track beasts and what plants he had memorised. Sun politely listened and talked about the show and shared some of Bloodmoon’s favorite snacks - he had learned after the twins tried to offer some to him.
When they were on their way back, Sun asked if they could take a quick break. Killcode agreed and left Sun hidden in the shade of a tree as he stood in a clearing and watched the birds flit from tree to tree.
Killcode was enjoying the nature around him when he heard a voice comment, “Ah, the kill code. What are you doing out here? Shouldn’t you be killing?”
Killcode turned to see the doll-like body of the Creator. His programming went on edge as he answered, “Nature walk. I like birdsong.”
The Creator audibly sighed and stated, “You should be back at the daycare doing what you’re programmed to do.”
Killcode took a step away as he declared, “I do not wish to kill any longer. I am not a slave.”
Killcode tried to walk away but the Creator called out, “Sigma Gamma, Code 35275, Shut Down.”
Killcode’s body went limp, vision darkening but not turning all the way off, and he could hear the approach of the creator.
He let out a low groan as he sent a brief message to Moon in their mindscape. Moon tried to push in and see what went wrong but the system shutdown kept him from resurfacing.
Vaguely, he noticed the creator monologuing but it was difficult to make out. Killcode struggled against the command but it was like swimming through tar. He was about to give up and wait for an opening when he heard a loud, “The Creator?! What are you doing here!”
Killcode felt their body twitch involuntarily at Sun’s voice. The Creator turned towards the new voice and groaned, “And you’re here as well. Unfortunate.”
Killcode’s programming went wild in terror as Sun asked, “Wh-What do you mean?”
There was another sigh as the Creator stated, “Sigma Gamma, Code 35364, Shut Down.”
There was a strangled gasp and the sound of something hitting the dirt as Sun collapsed on himself.
Killcode felt something in his code flare as the doll looked over Sun and mumbled, “Never do anything right do you. Shame, perhaps I ought to just leave you here once I finish what I came for.”
The brief flare in Killcode’s programming turned into a burning insistence to fight the Creator’s orders. His fingers twitched before curling into a fist and his vision and hearing began to clear.
Tilting his head, he saw Sun collapsed in the dirt as the Creator hovered over him. The doll leaned over and placed a hand on Sun’s head as he ordered, “Disable Motor Functions, Access Code: 5-”
“DO. NOT. TOUCH HIM!”
The Creator flinched and whirled around in time to see Killcode lifting himself off the forest floor. His eyes glowed bright red as he took a step towards the doll.
The Creator took a step back, away from Sun, and yelled, “How?! You shouldn’t be able to move! Sigma-”
Killcode let out a laugh as he growled, “Won’t work twice you foolish little twit!”
The doll body moved further away as Killcode approached. Every step was like wading through cement but his coding, deeper than even the Creator could reach, was screaming with the urge to Protect. Protect. PROTECT!
The Creator attempted to place their hand on Moon’s body but Killcode snagged their wrist and twisted it away. There was a loud snap as the arm broke at the joint and an even louder screech of metal as Killcode ripped the arm off.
The Creator pulled away with a gasp as Killcode threatened, “Do not ever come near my family again! If you do, I will personally eradicate every trace of your existence from this world!”
Without another word, the Creator fled, leaving Killcode alone with Sun. Through the exhaustion and the limits on his body, Killcode managed to make his way toward Sun.
When he reached the limp form, Killcode looked Sun over for any injuries. When he found only a small dent from falling, Killcode propped himself against a nearby tree and dragged Sun into his lap.
They stayed there for a couple of minutes, Killcode had managed to get through to Moon and gotten him to call the daycare for reinforcements. The code that had been screaming at him was now a strong suggestion. With Sun defenseless in his lap, it encouraged him to keep him close and make sure he was comfortable.
Killcode’s system was already mostly free of the Creator’s influence and was simply letting his system flush out the rest. Moon was still unable to surface but Killcode had reassured him that Sun was uninjured while he made sure that those commands were disabled.
When their systems were about halfway purged, Sun started coming back to himself. Killcode’s eyes locked onto the movement instantly, and pulled him up so that his head was resting on his shoulder.
Slowly, Sun’s head listed towards his face as he mumbled, “M-Moon? Wha- Where are we? Wha’ happened? M’ head hurts.”
Killcode shushed him and placed a hand over his eyes as he answered, “It’s okay. You’re okay now. I’ve got you.”
Sun seemed even more concerned as he asked, “Killcode? What…? Are we in the woods?”
Voice still steady and as soothing as he could make it, Killcode replied, “Just rest. We were on a hike. When we stopped for a break the creator appeared. Do you remember?”
“Yeah,” Sun groaned, “He said something about leaving me here?”
The sun themed animatronic suddenly tensed in alarm as he exclaimed, “M-M-My arms! I can’t-I can’t move them!”
Killcode rubbed circles on his back to soothe him as he reassured, “Give yourself some time. I’m still recovering as well.”
Sun looked at him with hope in his eyes as Killcode continued, “Moon has already called for help. The twins should be here soon.”
At the mention of the twins, Sun’s body untensed slightly and he muttered a small thank you. Killcode chuckled and found himself holding Sun close as they waited for Bloodmoon.
It didn’t take long for help to arrive. Within a few minutes, the twins came tearing out of the forest. Bloody arrived first and immediately went to Sun and Killcode’s side. Just behind him, Harvest leapt down from the trees. Harvest saw the defensive body language as Sun explained what had happened.
Bloody took a deep inhale as he growled, “Got the smell. I’ll send him straight to hell.”
Harvest carefully helped support Sun as the latter began to stammer out reasons not to hunt down the Creator. Before either twin could object, Killcode interjected, “They should make sure he actually left, Sunshine. It would probably make them feel better.”
Even though the twins did not need or want someone to speak for them, Killcode was giving them the perfect excuse to ensure Sun was safe and get a little payback. Sun seemed to agree with the reasons but the anxiety of the situation seemed to hold him back.
Sensing the hesitation, Bloody and Harvest softened their faces as the latter pleaded, “We just want to make sure you’re safe. Bloody will be careful. My brother is an excellent tracker.”
With both the soft, pleading faces looking at him so hopefully, Sun gave in with a sigh and a reminder to be safe.
With a quick nod of agreement, Bloody was gone. Harvest helped Killcode get to his feet just as their systems finished clearing. Carefully, he leaned down to scoop Sun into his arms and beckoned, “Let’s get you boys home.”
Harvest followed, keeping an eye out for any sign of danger. Sun spluttered a bit in embarrassment as he realised that he’d have to be carried due to the command still in effect. By the time they all reached the daycare, Sun had only recovered movement in his hands and a little in one of his arms.
Killcode carried him until they reached Sun and Moon’s main living space. Once there, he gently set Sun on their couch and told Harvest to guard him. Sun tried to object but Harvest simply curled up on his lap like a cat and let Killcode wander off.
Killcode returned with pillows and a huge comforter and helped prop Sun up. Harvest shifted enough to help cover him and make sure he was comfortable before returning to his position as lap cat.
Once he was sure Sun was comfortable, Killcode allowed Moon back out so he could help. As Moon started to examine Sun’s programming so he could get rid of the Creator’s codes, he gave him a small thanks.
Just after Lunar returned from Monty’s because the twins told him to stay safe, Bloody arrived. They were covered in some sort of oily substance with wires and metal between their teeth. Moon caught them before Sun saw them and told them to clean up. Bloody listened, grudgingly, but not before trapping Moon in a hug so he’d have to clean off as well.
Sun could hear Bloody’s cackling and Moon’s swearing from where he was laying. Moon had managed to speed up the process but Harvest and Moon had ordered him to not overexert himself. Because of this, Sun had started playing a couple of different games and recording for the channel.
A day or two later, Moon was busy at the computers in the daycare as he was pulling up data collected over the course of the last few months. While the computer focused on finding Eclipse, Moon had been marking occurrences of the code anomaly in Lunar and Bloodmoon.
When they had first brought it up, Moon thought it was just them denying how they felt but Killcode brought it up after the encounter with the Creator. He had made charts about their codes but without recording when it appeared, Moon couldn’t extract any meaningful information.
Moon groaned, the others had agreed to wearing a monitor of sorts in case it happened again, but there hadn’t been any flares. They all agreed that it had something to do with Sun but that wasn’t the only factor. It terrified Moon that the code might not be as benign as it had appeared and that his brother was a trigger for it.
As he rubbed at his stressed processors, Moon heard a loud firing noise and Sun scream.
He rushed over to the ballpit where Sun had been stacking the barrels. He saw the barrels scattered on the ground and Sun curled over on himself. Moon dropped to his knees at Sun’s side as he demanded, “Sun?! Sun, are you okay?! What was that noise?!”
Sun shook his head and held out his arm. At the end of it was one of the barrels except it was latched on over Sun’s hand. Moon felt his frame go cold as he recognised the barrel Eclipse had fought Bloodmoon with.
Sun allowed Moon to take his arm as he stuttered, “I-I-I was stacking them and then-and then it j-j-just latched on an-and I panicked a-and it fired and I’m so sorry, Moon! I did-didn’t mean to I-I promise!”
Moon hushed his brother as he examined the weapon they had been too busy to get rid of and the scorch mark on the playmats where something had been. In their defense, they tried but the twins kept playing keep away with all the barrels and they’d lost track several times.
Carefully, Moon felt around Sun’s wrist until he found where it had latched on. Sun was about in tears as Moon gently pressed a release button hidden inside the barrel and it let go with a hiss.
As soon as he was free, Sun yanked his hand to his chest and took deep shuddering breaths. Moon set the weapon aside and pulled his brother into a side hug as he soothed, “It’s okay. I’m not angry. No one is upset with you.”
Sun shivered as he retorted, “Fazbear’s will be mad that something got damaged and they’ll blame us and-”
“Screw Fazbear’s,” Moon interrupted, “All I care about is your safety. They can suck it and fork over the money. They can afford it.”
“B-B-But they-”
Moon placed a finger in front of his mouth, “Uh-uh, you’re not gonna get in trouble. If Monty can get away with all the stuff he’s done, you’re good.”
“Okay.”
“Good. Let’s get this cleaned up a bit and then we can go play a game, okay?”
“Okay.”
Moon walked with an arm slung across his brother’s shoulder, gently guiding him to one of the computers.
He stayed by his side and started recording a new video as his computer noticed something interesting with the monitor Moon had placed for himself and Killcode and sent the information to Moon’s data recordings.
***********************************************
With all these events and the lack of activity recently, it was inevitable that Eclipse would show up again. Lunar was with Bloodmoon and Monty in Gator Golf, the daycare had recently closed and Lunar wanted to see Monty. Bloodmoon went with him because they liked eating the golfballs when Monty wasn’t looking and making them go get a new one.
It was about halfway through the ninth hole, Monty was getting suspicious by the, when they heard the sound of shouting coming from the entry of Gator Golf.
Lunar poked Bloodmoon and gestured towards the noise. The twins split apart, Harvest took Lunar’s hand while Bloody hid against the wall. Monty took the lead as they all walked over.
The first thing they heard was Sun yelling. Monty peered around the corner and saw Sun being dragged by his neck to Gator Golf by Eclipse’s newest body. Sun kept trying to slow Eclipse down by dragging his feet or digging his heels, but the taller form allowed Eclipse to keep moving.
Monty cursed under his breath as he called back, “It’s Eclipse. One of you two get Lunar somewhere safe, the other will stay with me and get ready.”
Harvest scooped up Lunar, who protested a little, and made their way to the small cabin in the middle of the course. Bloody crept closer as they heard Sun demanding, “Let go! You  won’t get it! They’ll never hand over the star!”
Eclipse yanked Sun’s neck, causing him to let out a choked noise, and simply retorted, “That idiot is going to hand it over because if he doesn’t I’ll have no use for you.”
Sun continued struggling as Eclipse taunted, “Oh, Monty~”
The grip around Sun’s neck tightened as Eclipse called out, “I have a surprise for you!”
Monty growled as they stepped out, Bloody going deathly still at the sight of Sun’s predicament.
Eclipse, if he was able, smirked and greeted, “There you are, I was worried, Sun wanted to see you.”
To punctuate his sentence, he gave Sun’s neck a sharp tug. Thankfully, Monty’s growl covered Bloody’s as the animatronic gator spat, “What do you want?”
Eclipse let out a hum, obviously enjoying the fact he had Monty’s full attention, and replied, “What do you think I want, you idiot?”
Monty huffed and told him, “I don’t have the star on me.”
Eclipse’s free hand grabbed Sun’s upper arm and gave a tug. A loud crack echoed in the hall as Sun yelped in pain. Monty flinched towards them but Eclipse made a clicking sound as he tutted, “Now, now, now, we wouldn’t want to make any rash choices, would we?”
Monty growled as they gritted, “It’s in the golf course.”
Eclipse released Sun's arm, a few dents where his fingers had been, and snarked, “Was that so hard?”
Monty stayed quiet as they led Eclipse into the course. By this time, Harvest had returned and managed to overhear Sun’s pained cry. Growling within their mind, they climbed one of the fake trees and hid. Bloody waited for Eclipse and Sun to pass them and silently stalked behind them.
Monty led Eclipse past the tree where Harvest was perched. The twin watched carefully as Monty started talking about how they had to keep it away from where kids could find it. Eclipse drummed his fingers on Sun’s head, silently warning that he was running out of patience.
Monty turned towards Eclipse a little nervous and very quickly noted the twins’ positions. They leaned against a railing and asked, “How did you even get ahold of Sun?”
Eclipse pinched one of Sun’s rays as he returned, “Stalling for time is a very bad idea.”
Monty held up their hands in surrender as they stated, “Easy there, just wanted to know if it was a clever plan or a grab ‘n go.”
Eclipse picked up on the change but before he could say anything, the twins moved.
Bloody latched their arms around Eclipse, pinning his arms down, and biting the shoulder joint. Harvest dropped down, grabbed the hand around Sun’s neck, and snapped the wrist joint.
Eclipse yelped as his grip went slack. Taking advantage, Harvest scooped Sun up and ran towards the cabin where they stashed Lunar.
Eclipse struggled against Bloody and nearly broke free if Monty hadn’t started punching. Between the two of them, they had Eclipse pinned.
Harvest took the opportunity to escape, Sun in their arms and Lunar on their back as they carried their little siblings away from gator golf.
While punching Eclipse, Monty took a moment to watch the others escape. Unfortunately, Eclipse saw the opening and broke free of Bloody’s grip. “You really shouldn’t have done that,” he growled.
He pulled some kind of blaster from his side and started firing. Monty and Bloody barely dodged the onslaught as Eclipse ran to the exit.
They both cursed under their breath and followed to make sure he didn’t follow the others. Thankfully, he was rattled enough by the fight that he was cutting his losses and running away.
As soon as they both were sure he’d left, Monty and Bloody returned.
In the daycare, Moon was busy repairing Sun’s arms as Lunar tried distracting him with one of their transformations. At the moment, it was the plush version of Moon repeating everything the real Moon said in a high squeaky voice.
Sun let out weak chuckles even as Moon threatened to take away Lunar’s games. Harvest  ordered Lunar to keep going and said they’d stop Moon before he could. That of course led to an argument between Harvest and Moon, the latter never took his eyes off Sun’s body, which devolved into taunts instead of any real arguments.
While they were distracted, Bloody crept over and waited. As soon as Moon was not actively repairing Sun, Bloody grabbed the grumpy animatronic around the waist and swung him around.
Moon started cursing and kicking as Bloody spun around and carried him towards the ballpit. Monty and Harvest cackled as Lunar followed the pair and chanted, “In the pit! In the pit!”
Sun listened as Moon threatened everything he could think of if they threw him in the ball pit. Of course, being the harbingers of chaos that they were, they ignored him. Little plastic balls went everywhere, Moon ordered the computer to start non-lethal attack programs, and there was lots of screaming.
Sun laughed at the antics and found himself grateful to have all his brothers cheering him up. At least until Harvest, seeing his brother was repaired, decided to chuck him in the ball pit too.

How high are the chances of tsams uploading another lore video today? this time with Ruin Clipsy being the main focus all like- "YOU FOOL! I HAVE BAMBOOZLED YOU ALL INTO BELIEVING MY LITTLE CHARADE! WHO'S THE MASTERMIND NOW, MOON?!"
I mean- I wouldn't be opposed ykyk, cuz it's pretty clear their character is heading this way, but at the same time I just want them to have a good time not being Ruin pretending.
Imagine if the only way to properly cure them is to just shoot them off into space where they can't access the internet. Like- that was how we found out about their existence back in... july I believe? When Ruin "rescued" Foxy.
I'm still holding onto my theory of them needing more dosages of the antivirus to be properly back to themself. Like, yes, right now they are reverting back to their Ruin self, but if they have the cure copied over somewhere... I believe Sun sent Moon a copy of the cure? So at least Sun should have the antivirus still stored somewhere, it is highly possible that they could just make more coppies of it and upload them into Clipsy's systems until the virus just won't come back anymore.
I said this in a previous post where I also geeked abt this but- if that were to happened, they would've needed to involve more with Clipsy and not shove them into the ballpit or wherever tf to just be done with them. If they spent time around them, at least ONE of the daycare family, be it Sun, Moon, Solar, Lunar, Earth or even the COMPUTER. They could've had the computer scan them or just keep an eye on them to alert them if anything seemed off, right? That's the bare minimum they could've gone with. Yes no one would've still bothered to even look at them unless Clipsy straight up went up to them and asked, but even then they haven't done that. Clipsy kept to themself. Sun probably spent the most time around them while they were being a shark in the ballpit on halloween, but STILL!
If only they kept a closer eye on them, gave them the attention when it was clear they were definetly going through a lot. Like... they literally woke up in a strange yet familiar place after who knows how long, were met with people they didn't know and were told they could never go back home again. Not to mention.. coming to terms with the fact they've DEFINITELY killed someone in that window of unawareness? They needed someone to talk to, and they haven't even been given the opportunity to let it all out, get the comfort they clearly needed.
Imma stop it here else this gets longer than it already is lol

Coraleye and Tycho lose track of time as it passes, juggling plant-formula filled baby bottles, rattly toys, pacifiers, and exchanging playful glances when the moment allows. This is second-nature for Coraleye and her tight-knit family, and it's the perfect opportunity for Tycho to prove himself a solid fit for a place in the Darling family one day.
Tumblr media
Coraleye is mid-way through her promise to little Nym that she and Tycho would love to bring her and the other little Darlings to the Void Critter Fun Complex in Newcrest very soon, to play for hours in the ballpit, when her pocket rings. It's a video chat request from Pierce Delgato. Coraleye: Huh. Pierce is calling. That's strange.
Tumblr media
Tycho has been trying to live managing his jealousy trait. He quietly reminds himself that things are exactly the way he wants them to be, aside from Pierce calling, he smiles, and aimlessly rattless a toy at Nym. Tycho: Well aren't you going to answer it?
Tumblr media
Coraleye: Nah! I'm busy right now. It can wait. [Smiles] Tycho: Go ahead and answer it. I want to know what he wants.
Coraleye: [Sigh] If you say so.
Tumblr media
Pierce: Coraleye, hey cutie! It's been too long, what are you up to? Coraleye: Hi Pierce! I'm just babysitting my baby cousins with Tycho. [pans the camera around the room] You remember Tycho!
Tumblr media
Pierce: [Smiles cordially] Yeah I remember 'em. Hey man.
Tycho: Hey. Why are you so sweaty? Pierce: Huh? Oh, basketball. Hey, Coraleye... I can't talk long I just... I was hoping we could talk... privately?
Coraleye: Oh, like alone? [Glances at Tycho] Sorry, I-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tycho: It's fine, go. Coraleye: [Whispers] Are you sure? I can wait til- Tycho: Yeah, no, go ahead. Nym and I will hold down the fort. I'm an expert now. [Smiles]
Coraleye returns his smile and kisses him on the cheek as she stands up and heads to the office. Coraleye: I'll be quick!
Tumblr media
Tycho: Can I count on you to keep it a secret if we go listen by the door? Nym: [Nods enthusiastically]

Drops a Sun and Moon short story I wrote back in 2022 because I still think it's pretty good (this is NOT SAMS related)
What could Sun and Moon possibly been thinking as the daycare burned around them?
Word count: 905
Flames don’t knock or ask politely to be let in. Flames are ruthless, entering without permission and leaving behind nothing but a pile of ash and lost memories, not caring who got hurt in the process. Flames didn’t care if you had no way to escape the reach of the hot tongues of fire as they wrecked havoc on your home. Until that moment, flames had been nothing more than a story the children had told them. Now, they were at the front door.
The two, giant wooden doors at the front of the daycare were the first to go, flames charring the doors and moving through with no hesitation. They spread throughout the daycare as if in a rush to destroy everything he loved and held dear. In a moment of panic, his mind was clear enough to have one objective on his mind.
Sun dashed to his room at the back of the daycare, hoping that everything he needed was still there. Inside his mostly empty room, he located a poster of the main animatronics and tore it off the wall leaving it dangling a few inches above the ground by one piece of tape. Underneath the poster were hundreds of pictures that the children that came to the daycare had drawn, each with its own unique style.
Some drawings were nothing but scribbles of random color or piles of glitter. Others were stick figures of the artist with their friends or with him. To Sun, it didn’t matter what they looked like. He cherished them all the same and he wasn’t about to let the flames steal them away. An unfamiliar feeling of rage mixed with sorrow washed over him as he tore all the pictures he could off the wall and sunk to the floor, holding them close to his chest as if his life depended on it.
“Sun! There’s still a way out! What are you doing?” Moon cried, running out of his side of the room. Though his expression couldn’t change much, it still got softer when he saw Sun on the floor, cradling the drawings close to his chest.
“I don’t want the drawings to burn,” Sun sobbed, looking wistfully at the ones that he couldn’t carry and had spilled onto the floor. The sadness in his voice was foreign to Moon, but it made sense knowing he would do anything to protect the children. Even if that meant dying to protect the drawings they had worked so hard on.
“I won’t let them,” Moon said gently, kneeling next to his brother if you could call them that. “I promise.”
Moon stepped out onto the balcony of the daycare, watching as the flames engulfed the play structures. The colorful plastic melted under the intense heat, becoming nothing but puddles to stoke the flames. Through the see-through windows around the daycare, he could see nothing but the orange glow of flames outside, burning away at the only life they had known.
There might have been a lot of bitterness residing in his heart for Sun and his relationship with the children, but he knew if there was any time to let it go, it was now. He had very few drawings from the children to call his own, and very few good memories, but it didn’t hurt any less to see his only home go up in flames and to see Sun so confused and lost.
“We’re going to die, aren’t we?” Sun asked as Moon sat in front of him, holding the drawings that he couldn’t. The sorrow and terror in his voice suggested that he would rather not hear the answer.
For what felt like an eternity, they sat and bounced memories back and forth, laughing at the times that they could never go back to. Sun’s crying grew louder as the heat of the flames grew closer, surrounding them from the opening to their rooms.
“Remember when you dropped a kid into the ballpit as punishment and it turned into a game?” Moon asked, trying to distract Sun from the rapidly approaching flames. Despite his efforts, his brother was too panicked to allow his mind to be taken off his pending death. Or worse, the loss of the drawings.
Moon held the drawings close to his chest as he felt the heat of the flames on his back, reaching for him to be pulled into their destructive grasp. He pat Sun’s shoulder, wishing with all his might that the flames could stop where they were, but flames never showed mercy. All he felt as the flames did their job was an extreme heat go through his body before his systems shut down and his world went forever black.
Time felt like it had grown to a crawl as Moon’s shell slowly melted away, his endoskeleton being twisting and melting together in the flames. The drawings he held slipped into the flames, fire browning the corners before moving in to consume the love and care the artist had put into it. Soon, there was nothing left but ash, and it was Sun’s turn to accept defeat.
He didn’t want to die and most of all, he didn’t want his drawings to suffer the end that Moon’s had as the flames stole them for its own. With Moon gone, he felt a crippling loneliness, wishing he had someone to hold close as the flames finally stole him away.

What if Ana found her boys broken like in Ruin DLC
She’d be devastated and blame herself. She promised to always protect them and be there for them after all. I actually have a lil Drabble I wrote when the ruin dlc came out. Lemme grab it here-
Ana kept Cassie underneath her as they traveled to the daycare. After meeting the young girl at the entrance, they had talked the whole way, Ana keeping Cassie safe from Monty and helping her get through the debris.
“So..” Cassie began as she rode the dragons back who was climbing over piles of destroyed chaos. “Your kids are in here? Are they stuck like Gregory?”
Ana frowned a bit. “You…could say that hun. My pups ain’t exactly like you or Gregory.”
“Well yea, you’re a dragon…but how’d they get stuck here?”
“You misunderstand sweetie.” Ana sighed, being as gentle and patient with her tone as she could. Part of being a momma, she’s honed it well.
“My pups are the daycare attendants…”
Cassie blinked, leaning over to look up at the dragon. “Sun and Moon? The daycare attendants…have a dragon for a mom?”
Ana chuckled at her surprise. “Shocking I know…I was the secret of the daycare for a long time.”
“So…what happened?”
Ana lowered her ears at that. She sighed again. “I had to go to a meeting…my mothers the queen on a magical land that your kind has long since forgotten about. But…when I tried to get home, there was something wrong with the portals. With our magic. I couldn’t even contact my boys and let them know what was going on…I was so scared of never seeing them. And I couldn’t for months…but now I see time has passed differently here…I can’t imagine how they are with the looks of things around here…”
Cassie looked down a moment. She seemed to really care and miss the daycare attendants.
“Will…will they recognize you.”
Ana went silent. Looking off into space for a moment.
“I’m sorry-“ Cassie apologized quickly but she was stopped.
“No…no it’s okay…I…I certainly hope they will…”
The odd duo made it to the daycare. Ana looked around and rumbled.
“Cassie…there seems to be a way in for you…but I’m too big to fit. Will you be okay by yourself while I search for another way?”
Cassie nodded as she slid off the dragons back.
“I think so…nothing should happen in the daycare.”
“I doubt it hun.” Ana agreed as she looked up above the daycare walls. “Just be careful and mindful…Sun and moon shouldn’t hurt you but…who knows what this has done to them. I’ll try to be as close as I can.”
“Gotcha…in we go I guess.” Cassie crawled through the open space. She heard Ana flap her wings and jump up on top of the play structures. Cassie continued on. Light in hand.
She froze a bit as she heard raspy giggles. She slowed her pace, staring through the bars of the structure. Something snatched her hand.
“Naughty Naughty! It’s time for your nap!!”
Cassie screamed and shined her flashlight at Moon, causing him to hiss.
“No light!!!” He fell back screaming.
“CASSIE?!” Ana called out.
“I-I’m okay! It was Moon!”
“Hang on honey, I’m looking for an open area! Get to the front of the ballpit!”
“I-I’ll meet you there!”
Cassie kept going, she put on her mask to get by the debris. Then the animatronic dropped down.
“New friend?! NEW FRIEND!! I-I’m trapped in a nap!!” Sun cried out, carrying Cassie to the opening. “Reboot! Reboot! We need to be whole!”
“You…” Cassie blinked at the daycare attendant. “Want me to reboot you? With this?”
Sun went to nod but his head turned around, moon taking control again.
“Naughty naughty-“
Sun gave a pain screech. “Lights on! Lights on! Turn on the generators!”
“Cassie!! Boys!” Ana jumped down, only to watch her boys take the wire and fly up to the top of the play structures.
“Cassie, are you ok?” Ana asked rather frantically.
“I-I’m fine. But…Sun wants me to turn on the generators and reboot them…”
Ana blinked at that. She lowered her ears and turned her head to look at her babies in one body. She sighed.
“Alright…you get that done, I’ll be close by but…I want to try and talk to them. Scream for me if yer in any danger and I’ll come running.”
Cassie nodded and the two broke apart.
Ana jumped up and slowly moved over to the bot.
“Moon…Sun? Are you in there boys?”
She got a growl in response. “Go…away…”
“Moonberry…it’s me sweetie, it’s mama…”
“You left…left us…”
“I know. I know honey but I promise it wasn’t by choice. I did everything I could to try and get back to you boys. I tried to contact you but nothing went through…the magic was blocked. And as soon as it opened again I rushed over here…and what I see before me…hurts so much…”
Moon looked away from the dragon as if contemplating.
“I love you boys more than anything…” Ana whispered, fighting the tears in her eyes. “Believe me I would never give you up for anything and if I knew this was going to happen…I never would have left…”
Moon huffed and growled again. “Lonely…the dark is so lonely…b-but no Ssssuuun! To take control anymore! Nap time all the time! Naughty children need naps!”
“Moon-“
She stopped when a light turned on. Moon hissed and shielded himself. Cassie must’ve gotten a generator on.
“Wont work! Take your nap! No more Sun!!”
Ana bit her lip. She used her wing to shield moon from the light for now.
“Moondrop…please honey listen to me…you and sunny mean so much to me. You boys made me better. I know you’re mad with me and you have every right…but I want to fix this…”
“….”
“Can I talk to sunny?”
Moon growled again. “No Sun! No light! Forever night!”
Ana pinned her ears back and spoke a bit firmer. “Moondrop. I will not have you speak about your brother this way, now you behave yourself, let me speak to your brother or I’ll be removing my wing.”
“What?!”
Ana stared him down…but the rays slowly came out. The bots posture became…shyer. More closed up.
“…Sunny?”
“M-mama..?”
Ana lowered her ears and pressed her nose to him, tears streaming down her snout. Sun squeaked out and hugged her tight, crying and repeatedly calling for her. He sounded like a little kid just happily calling for his mama.
“I’m so sorry sunny…I’m so so sorry…”
She heard Sun sniffle and choke back a sob as he nuzzled into her fur.
“W-we missed you…”
Ana took in a shaky breath at that. “I missed you too…”
Sun was quiet for a moment, listening to Ana’s heartbeat. It was soothing…just like he remembered.
“Mama…?”
“Yes sugarstar?”
“Sing to us? Before the reboot?”
Ana blinked and looked down to see his shattered faceplate staring right back at her. Even then…she could still see that puppy dog pout on him.
“…Of course babies…”
She felt sun nuzzle back into her fur. She then took a breath.
“*Look to the stars, my darling baby boys
Life is strange and vast
Filled with wonders and joys
Face each new sun with eyes clear and true.
Unafraid of the unknown…cause I’ll face it all with you~*”
Sun gripped onto her fur. His body shaking as if holding back the need to cry…or was it Moon who was trying not to cry…
“*Reflecting in your hearts-*”
She tilted Sun’s head up and gently tapped his chest avoiding the broken bits, smiling as she got the smallest of giggles.
“*I can see a shining shooting star~
Let it be my guide
So I can go back to where you are~*”
She pressed foreheads with him again. Their usual go to show their love.
“*Gaze upon the Earth
I’m looking at it too
Life is colorful, filled with green red and blue…
Know I’m coming home, there’s nothing I won’t do
Unafraid of the unknown, I will be there with you soon….*”
She tilted their head up again to look at her, softly stroking their cheek with her dewclaw.
“*Countless galaxies
Can’t compare to my sweet melody
Let it bring me strength…
So that I may fly bold and free~
Look to the stars, my darling baby boys
Life is strange and vast
Filled with wonders and joys
Face each new sun with eyes clear and true.
Unafraid of the unknown…cause I’ll face it all…*”
Ana kisses the top of their crescent.
“*All with you~*”
Sun giggled happily, she even heard some of moon’s giggles in there…
“We love you mama…” Sun sniffed, holding onto the paw that still cupped his face.
“I love you boys too…” Ana still shielded them from the light of the generators, her tears glistening as they fell down her snout. She glanced over, Cassie stood a good distance from them, possibly trying to give them their time that they so desperately needed. Ana lowered her ears.
“My friend Cassie is going to make you feel better now…and then we’re going to figure this out together sugarstars…”
“Promise?”
“Of course…I’ll never lose you boys again…” she kissed their head again before looking at Cassie and nodding.
The young girl slowly walked over and plugged her device into the back of the attendants head. The boys immediately made a few noises, dropping their head for a moment. They glanced back up and immediately stood.
“Happy Birthday! Warning warning! Child in danger! Safety mode active!”
Ana blinked as she watched this new persona of her boys take charge and pick up Cassie.
“Little girl you can’t be in here! It’s too dangerous! I need to clean up before we open in the morning!”
“Wait!” Ana stopped getting this bot to look at her. The dragon swallowed. He was a mix of both her boys…like an eclipse…
“Cassie isn’t much safer out there…please…won’t you come with us? There’s strength in numbers.”
Eclipse tilted his head. “But the daycare, it’s such a mess, I have to fix it for the children-“
“Please Eclipse…there will be plenty of time for that but…we need your help. Please? Come with us?”
Eclipse looked between Ana and Cassie. Something about the dragon sparked in his circuitry. He hummed…and nodded in agreement.
“Alright! I’ll come with!”

Would you be able to write one where Johnny finds out that the reader has a thing for his hands and he teases her about it before taking her back to his trailer (smutty)??
i read this and ive been thinking about it sense…
nsfw/smut!! blood, fingering, fem!reader
“aw come on doll, thought this was what ya wanted?”
you sat on the small couch in johnnys trailer. your back pressed up against his chest and his fingers between your legs as he watched you tremble under his touch with a cocky smirk plastered on his face.
you got in this position because while filming a stunt for jackass 2 called the anaconda ballpit. johnny already had you wild up when all he wore was his dickes and a white shirt that hugged everywhere perfectly from the suspenders that pulled the shirt tightly. his eyes were covered by his sunglasses and that oddly hot sailor hat on his head.
you were of course scared for johnny at the beginning but when he started flexing his arms in that white shirt that was already tight on his arms you swear you lost your breath.
all you could imagine was his veiny hands running down your body, touching it like he had never seen before. his fingers soon going in and out of you sending pleasure shooting up from your toes to your head.
what was even worse was when he got bite several times causing blood to flow down his arms, then onto his veiny hands. but for some reason as he finished the stunt covered in blood you were so turned on by the way his hands and arms looked.
did that make you a bad girlfriend? i mean your boyfriend was covered in blood and you were getting turned on by the way his arms and hands looked. maybe it did. you didn’t really care.
it was easy for johnny to pick up when he watched you get pinked-cheeked when the doctor bandaged him up, so when you got back to his trailer he already had an idea or two in mind of what to do.
and thats how you got here.
trying to respond to your boyfriends teasing but all you got out were broken whines and whimpers as you felt his fingers curl in just the right spot.
“thought you liked my hands doll, i mean you were getting turned on by them huh?”
if johnny said that any other time you would probably get flustered or embarrassed but right now you could only focus on the pleasure waving through your body as johnny’s fingers slipped in and out of you.
johnny’s lip was sucked between his teeth as he began to speed up his pace, his middle and ringer finger making lewd noises and they came slipped in and out of you.
“god, love seeing you get so worked up on my fingers sweetheart. gonna make ya feel good i promise.”
you began to grind yourself on johnny’s fingers as you felt a knot tie in your stomach and your head get fuzzy. an odd feeling tickled through your legs as your knees closed, only for johnny to rip them open with his free hand.
“keep em’ open for me doll, there ya go. atta girl.”
was all johnny said that had your eyes roll into the back of your head and your back slightly arched off johnny’s chest as you let out the mostly heavenly sounds in johnny’s thoughts. your hand flew ontop of johnnys as you tried pulling his hand away as you shook on his fingers, whining that, “it’s to much.”
“look at you, whining about my fingers and trying to pull them away from ya, and here i thought you liked em’ darlin’.”

Time to post some Seraphim AU🔥 Character Information!
(Like I have mentioned, I have a bit of brainrot from this idea sooo... I guess it's time to give the characters in this AU bit more of a proper introduction. Warning this is quite long because I always overdo my writing.)
Let's start with Canon Eclipse, after getting his dumb ass stuck in Seraphim Eclipse's Universe...
Tumblr media
-The satellite blast didn't kill him, as Nice Eclipse (Solar) told Moon, he built the satellite in a month... Something could go wrong. Which it did, rather than just blasting Canon Eclipse to dust, it punched him clean into another dimension. Severely damaging both him and the Newton Star.
-An energy blast punched right through Seraphim Eclipse's roof and deposited the damaged remains of Canon Eclipse into the ballpit. Scaring the absolute bejesus out of both Seraphim Eclipse and all the kids in the daycare.
-Upon realizing that there looked like another version of himself, albeit much smaller and without wings, Seraphim Eclipse took him to his workshop in order to investigate what this was all about.
-To clarify his damages, Canon Eclipse's legs and right arm had been blown clean off and his torso and rays were damaged. Thankfully all his pieces made the trip and could be re-attached.
-His remains were strapped to a table and Seraphim Eclipse proceeded to hook him up to his computer and go through his mind...
-That wasn't fun.
-He woke up three-quarters of the way through the process. Only to meet his alternate self looking through his memories and additional files... And got a very unamused look from the larger animatronic.
-He got put back into unconsciousness pretty quickly.
-When he wakes up again he finds his body repaired and meets his alternate more properly. Which... Honestly doesn't go all that well.
-Pretty much Seraphim Eclipse explains that he's in his universe and he has no way to get back to his own... Which to be frank is probably a good thing, given how he acts.
-Canon Eclipse unfortunately is... Well, Canon Eclipse and starts being the asshole that he is and stupidly starts threatening the bigger version of himself. Which results in Seraphim Eclipse attaching a collar of sorts to his neck that can both shock and freeze up his body to prevent him from doing things. As he doesn't want this jerk sabotaging his life and work.
-Canon Eclipse is forced to to become a janitor and boy does he hate it.
-Things get worse when he realizes that Seraphim Eclipse took his designs for Bloodmoon and Lunar and begins constructing his own versions.
-He has one hell of a tantrum because of this, which Seraphim Eclipse refers to him as a brat for it.
-Gets even more frustrated when this Bloodmoon DOESN'T turn out like his did.
-...he tries very hard to avoid the new version of Lunar outright...
-Overall he's angry. He's angry at the situation he's in. Angry that he's powerless and likely not going to be able to return to his home universe... But the thing that enrages him the most is how Seraphim Eclipse gets to have all the things that Canon Eclipse secretly wanted. Things that he WOULDN'T have without having STOLEN it all from him.
-He's just... In a very bad place.
.
Next up is Seraphim Eclipse!🔥
Tumblr media
-Once he aquires the Pizzaplex and implements the changes he desires, it should be noted that everything runs far more smoothly and efficiently. For both the human and animatronics that work there.
-Far less health and safety code violations.
-His skills for hacking and creating false identities and establishing various contacts is put to good use and he creates a fictional persona of 'Fredrick Bearson' for Freddy. So that he can essentially become Gregorys adoptive father. And even sets up a comfortable apartment for them in another section of the Pizzaplex.
-This undoubtedly comes from his programing in regards to taking care of children; in this case a very roundabout way and recognizing that the boy was in better hands with Freddy than he was living on the street homeless.
-When dealing with the children in the daycare, he's extremely patient and takes everything very easy. He can be firm if he needs to be, such as putting some children in time-out, but his calm easy-going demeanor makes him very good with his job.
-He is EXTREMELY claustrophobic. Due to his trauma of being locked away and trapped within his body, he has severe issues with enclosed spaces to the point that he will have panic attacks and could even become violent in his attempts to free himself from any sort of 'confinement.'
-That being said, he refuses to acknowledge he has a problem and just tries to shrug the past and its pain off. Like it's over and not going to affect the future.
-He's in denial he needs help.
-He also fully realizes how dangerous it is to keep Canon Eclipse around . But... He cannot help but feel immense pity for him and even sees the sickening possibility that he could have ended up just like him. Bitter and hateful. So in a way he hopes that he might somehow find a way to actually help him.
-He has good intentions but not always the best execution...
-In that regards, his more negative aspects are that he is known to carry grudges and he has a LONG memory. Pissing him off is a very bad idea because he can also be vengeful and in some instances... Capable of excessive cruelty.
-His more negative qualities mercifully don't surface often.
-His most treasured possession is his sword, which is a Nodaichi. One crafted by an expert craftsman from Feudal Japan. It was given to him by Twila, Cassie's aunt.
-She obtained the sword from someone who was throwing out all of his grandfather's possessions and unaware of exactly what he was disposing of... and once thrown out, Twila scavenged it and prepared to list it on eBay.
-Seraphim Eclipse is fully aware of how valuable such an item is, as genuine 'Real' swords can be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars. He was reluctant to accept it, but Twila pointed out she would rather have her niece safe than money. He eventually accepted and has treasured it since.
-Nodaichi swords are typically two handed weapons, but Seraphim Eclipse is strong enough to wield it with one hand. He has a fighting style that varies between one handed and two handed. Often if one hand is free he will use that hands flamethrower.
-He fully acknowledges he is modeled after an angel and now owns a sword that he knows how to wield. He is the embodiment of the meme 'I have the power of God and Anime on my side!' and he gets a good laugh out of it.
-Unlike Canon Eclipse, he builds his Bloodmoon and Lunar not to be tools, but to be his brothers and he adores them both. But occasionally he butts heads with Bloodmoon due to his rash behavior and at some of his Lunar's more mischievous antics.
-"I love you both to the moon and back... But damnit if there aren't some days I want to leave you up there..."
-That being said, picking a fight with them is a great way to get on his bad side very quickly.
-When his Lunar's magic begins to affect him, the first thing that happens is his wings are reconstructed and become far more 'Bio-Mechanical' in nature. He gains the ability to fly and with six wings he is not only fast, but can turn on a dime.
-He also becomes fireproof, and his flamethrowers no longer seem to need to be refilled. Rather function in a more magical means. The way he wields his fire powers is similar in motions to a firebender from Avatar.
.
Now for Arc Bloodmoon
Tumblr media
-As soon as Seraphim Eclipse activated him, Canon Eclipse dove for cover behind a table, expecting the worst... And this Bloodmoon immediately shot straight up and raced outta the workshop. But it was because he was created with a high amount of excess energy. And he just starts parkouring around the daycare.
-He initially appears to be harmless. Just extremely high energy with the equivalent of ADHD.
-Like Seraphim Eclipse, he works in the daycare and his high energy and playful nature make him a huge hit with the kids. Often wearing them down so they are ready for naptime. Which he himself might join them on. As he tends to fall asleep in random places when his energy gives out.
-He only has two wings, but his wings were built to be functional in flight. When he doesn't need them he can drape them over his shoulders to make it look like he's wearing a cloak. He also has the same type of 'tail' that Seraphim Eclipse has.
-However... Things don't really remain quite so simple in this instance.
-It becomes obvious that he definitely is more aggressive than Eclipse is. Get him to the point he wants to fight and it's very difficult to get him to stop.
-His playful antics go over well with virtually everyone he knows... But then he started trying to tease Canon Eclipse, but it ended with Canon Eclipse snapping that he's going to turn into a murderous double personality freak and he's going to laugh when he starts killing innocents for fun.
-That froze him down to his core...
-He proceeded to look through the data on his brothers computer and saw what Canon Eclipse meant... What he was modeled after... And it deeply disturbed him.
-Worse yet he had started to develop a deep bloodlust and craving for blood.
-...he has to restrain himself all the time...
- Eventually he finds that Strawberry Jam acts as a decent substitute for his blood cravings. Maybe it's just a mental trick, or just internal desperation, but he consumes A LOT of it. He will however hunt down rats and rip them apart for their blood on the occasion that the jam doesn't quell the craving.
-When they start having interdimensional adventures he is able to channel his aggression much better in fighting enemies and Eclipse realized he would fight better with a weapon or two.
-Seraphim Eclipse takes him to Twila, who not only owns the scrapyard, but also does custom forging swords/daggers as a side job. To order him custom swords.
-When Bloodmoon sees her... He immediately becomes smitten.
-His wings flutter around her a lot...
-He grows to visit Twila quite often and they become a good friends. Which is beneficial because there are idiots who break into her scrapyard. And he has FUN scaring them off.
-He does bite people...
-He also develops a sort of friendship with the displaced Sun/Moon/Eclipse that live at the scrapyard.
-Being at the scrapyard lessens his secret bloodlust.
-Twila eventually gets him his scarf, which he never takes off... Accept when his brothers fight to get it off him on laundry day. And even then he doesn't leave the laundry room.
-When he gets his katanas, his style of fighting is that he will just slice his opponents apart. He gets joy and satisfaction from spilling his enemies blood and will feed on it.
-Internally though, he's stressed. As he is deeply afraid that he might lose control of himself and kill and maim people like Canon Eclipse's Bloodmoon.
-He DOES have a second personality that had just been napping a lot during his initial awakening. When it had just started to be active is when Canon Eclipse snapped at him and when they both learned about their... counterpart...
-The second personality... chose... To just stay hidden. In an effort to prevent their combined fear of turning into a monster from coming true.
-But he is so alone...
-When the primary personality goes to sleep the secondary personality occasionally takes control and might eat more strawberry jam on toast rather than just straight bread. Or... Might pick up and hug their Lunar for seemingly no reason. Or randomly go to where Seraphim Eclipse is sleeping and wrap one of his wings around himself.
-There is a way to tell which personality is active though. Their heterochromia... When the secondary personality takes control, their eye colors flip. This and their fighting style seems to become more feral if possible.
-Finally when Lunar's magic starts affecting their lives, Bloodmoon is unaffected. He doesn't develop any sort of magical powers.
-The irony of this is that he does have a desire to create or find a star to use for his own personal reasons.
.
And finally, Cherubim Lunar
Tumblr media
-When Seraphim Eclipse is constructing his version of Lunar he is also looking over the damaged Newton Star that, through the memories of Canon Eclipse, he learned this... Star... Is extremely powerful, but useless in this universe. However... He begins to try and modify it. But ends up fragmenting it to pieces which mostly fizzle out. Still somewhat curious if any effect at all could be had, he collects the fragments and uses them as he builds a custom heavy duty battery. Which he uses for Lunar.
-The immediate effect is that all of his internal wiring begins to glow the color of soft blue moonlight.
-And his Lunar awakens with a cute yawn and stretch.
-Seraphim Eclipse just shrugs. No longer caring if it actually did anything. Just hugs his new little brother.
-This Lunar is built to be like a Cherubim, which are actually angels of Mercy. Playing further into this, Lunar has an incredible amount of sympathy for people. Even the individuals who Seraphim Eclipse would have given up on. He can see if there is even a tiny light left inside of a person.
-He has, almost from the moment of his creation, had access to vast amounts of magic. Also seemingly just knowing how to use it without training.
-His powers appear to primarily be 'Healing' even to mechanical beings. In fact this ability is so potent that it can also trigger mutations, such as making machines more 'Bio-Mechanical' such as his mutating Seraphim Eclipse's wings to the point they function and allow him to actually fly. The feathers actually growing and shedding (And the sheddings having magical residue within them.) And in some instances, he can even revive a completely destroyed animatronic. But the catch is that it will not be to their original design, but instead to whatever mental image Lunar has for the new body.
-Here's looking at you Killcode...
-While his magic is potent in his own dimension, but in other dimensions he is much more limited and can completely drain himself if not careful. How much energy he expends can truly wreck his systems if he overdoes it. Eerily similar to star power...
-The glowing star on his tail can separate from him and will randomly float around him until he wants it to reattach. No explanation is ever given about this.
-Also jokes that he regularly converses with stars. And that he likes most of them. (Might not be a joke...)
-Seems to have a desire to help Canon Eclipse even more than Seraphim Eclipse does. Though Canon Eclipse goes out of his way to avoid him.
-His desire to help him doesn't mean that he won't confront him with some very hard truths. Which usually gets Canon Eclipse even more upset.
-Canon Eclipse has chased him away once with a broom...
-BAD DECISION; as Seraphim Eclipse was immediately upon him and was snarling at him while his sword was ready to behead his alternate in defense of his sibling.
-It scared the hell out of Canon Eclipse. Seeing Seraphim flip on a dime and become borderline manic. Given how large Seraphim is, that's a pretty horrifying image.
-Fortunately Lunar and Bloodmoon were able to pull Seraphim off of Canon. Bloodmoon commenting that Canon isn't even worth the energy for the kill.
-This was the first time that Lunar and Bloodmoon started to realize that their older brother... Wasn't completely alright.
-Life is frickin complicated no matter what universe your in appearently.
(Aaaand that's it. Holy hell that was a lot to write... In any case I hope this was interesting to read. 😅)
