Technically I went to (community) college twice.

The first time, burnout won and I ended up dropping out to be the Caregiver. The major that time was Liberal Arts with the intention of transferring to a Real University.

The second time, I put my foot down about 'I hate school, my first day of kindergarten picture is me scowling at the camera, I'm not doing this', and got an IT Support Technician certificate. Much less sucky to obtain, and also useful. :p

I love that you love your job! I think it’s an “unpopular opinion” bc it’s been really hard lately to go to school for something and then make it a fulfilling career that pays well.

you make a very valid point! i didn��t mean to minimize anyone else’s experience bc i know that a majority of companies mistreat their employees. whether that be a reduction of labor hours or low wages or whatever it may be. the general workforce structure needs to shift so i do acknowledge i am very lucky in that sense
