no!! omg i knew i forgot something which was to credit that movie, it was from pinterest but that gif is originally from Bound (1996).

it's a crime thriller lesbian movie, where the start has the classic trope of "hot lesbian mechanic" coming to fix up the "seductive married woman"'s sink. i wouldn't say it's a great movie, because personally for me the plot is quite very lacking, but it is a fun watch with a happy ending.

Some Gale of Waterdeep thoughts because he keeps stealing my heart accidentally

I love the idea of being able to make him stutter or trip over his own words. It would be so easy to fluster Gale- he may be flirty, or know how to make you weak at the knees, but you know just how to make him get all flustered and red in the face.

Watching him enthralled in a book, rambling on about something knew he learned, just watching his face and taking it all in. The more time you spent around this goofy wizard, the more you wanted to stay with him. You liked listening to his lessons, his interests as he’d go on for hours.

He’d catch your eye, his ears warm. “Why are you looking at me like that?”

“Like what?” You’d say, your eyes glancing down not so subtly to his lips, and back to his eyes again, cocking your head slightly. It’s so easy to mess with him, the infamous ‘Gale of Waterdeep’.

“Oh- stop it, you.” He’d say, looking down at the pages, trying to pick up where he left off as to avoid your gaze. He remembers how Astarion taunted him for being so oblivious to your advances, and how he’s been feeling unsure how to move forward. He romanced a Goddess, and yet somehow you make him.. nervous.

“You seem uncomfortable.” You’d say, stepping closer to him, closing the cover of his book and catching his gaze. Well, more like his deer-caught-in-the-headlights-gaze. “Do I make you nervous, Gale?” you’d coo, that playful smirk giving away your tease.

Gale’s heart would nearly be in his throat. Imagine how red his cheeks would get and how he’d clear his throat in embarrassment as Astarion and Karlach pass by, Astarion tutting a “oh, Gale, you poor pup.”, followed by Karlach giving an over-excited thumbs up in support.

bound (1996) has such a realistic depiction of lesbianism and i don’t think people talk about it enough.

the way violet sees corky in the elevator for the first time and immediately decides corky is THE one and a couple of days later the two of them are committing crimes and running away together is literally one of the most lesbian things i (as a lesbian myself) ever did witness and this is one of the many reasons why this movie is one of my favorites
