Fly me to the moon
Let me play among the stars
Let me see what spring is like
On a, Jupiter and Mars
In other words, hold my hand
In other words, baby, kiss me

Thinking about how Adeline never actually saw the sun, the moon or even the stars for over 44 years being trapped under the bridge and submerged underwater, despite her prayers of being found fading away, she could never even look up at the sky and that would’ve completely shattered her if it wasn’t for her hopeful determination and her limbo abilities she gained over time. Just, oh gosh the feels.

heyyy not to be that person or anything
but why did y'all stop calling me star commander ;o; or captainnn or even TULIPS lmao
just a "hey" and a "hi "
ARE WE NOT INTO ROLEPLAYING ANYMORE? TOT
t'was nothing serious, I just had fun with it lmao.
but yo seriously, adding my name "tulips" to your ~game~ asks makes things... feel ... less... uh... like you didn't just hop on the bandwagon and that you're at least slightly interested in wanting to interact lmao.

This one was a really fun commission to work on! If you'd like to hear more about the character's backstory, you can check out the timelapse on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/QJf6KnL0OqU

Admittedly I bought my new Harmonious Tarot mostly to work the book Ancestral Grimoire: Connect with the Wisdom of the Ancestors through Tarot, Oracles, and Magic by Nancy Hendrickson.
I'd link to it like usual but Z Library has officially been seized (apparently) and LibGen can't find a copy elsewhere. Sorry, loves.
Did my first bit of that work after playing around with Tarot Constellations and getting a good feel for the deck; it's so lovely and I adore it, truly. We're so smooth together. It's a completely different experience than my other two decks.
Anyways: The Ancestral Grimoire has us divide the deck in three. The first division is all of the Major Arcana. The Second division is all of the Court cards. And that leaves the numbered pips of the Minor Arcana as the remaining stack.
First I followed the advice about "just asking" if we wanted to know what our inheritance was, and asked "What is my most important magical inheritance from my Ancestral Lineage"; drawing from the Minor Arcana Pips, I got the 4 of Wands.
UPRIGHT: Celebration, joy, harmony, relaxation, homecoming
REVERSED: Personal celebration, inner harmony, conflict with others, transition.
Next was the actual "phase one" or first exercise, where she technically has you separate out the deck; because I pre-read I was already a little ahead.
Here I invited a singular Ancestor to step forward to be my Guide, and to reveal themselves to me through the Tarot deck; here she instructs us to draw from the Court cards, giving me the King of Swords.
UPRIGHT: Mental clarity, intellectual power, authority, truth
REVERSED: Quiet power, inner truth, misuse of power, manipulation
HENDRICKSON: Air Element, Autumnal Season; A swift visionary, but unemotional
The final bit of this exercise is to ask the Ancestor who identified themself what the most important thing (lesson) they could share with me was as my Guide- for which I pulled Strength from the Major Arcana pile as directed.
UPRIGHT: Strength, courage, persuasion, influence, compassion
REVERSED: Inner strength, self-doubt, low energy, raw emotion
It's a bit interesting that what my Ancestor can supposedly teach me lines up with Greer's method of calculation for what she called my "inner desire and motivations" card based on my birth (dead) name.
Mostly, however I'm incredibly curious to explore what the 4 of Wands could mean in regards to magical Ancestral inheritance.

i keep accidentally making my swtor characters polyamorous
like the main example is elara and doc and theron and lana
but then i've also decided vedru, aric, and elara dorne also form a triad, with jaxo occasionally joining in when she's around
danestri has vector and (eventually) watcher two (and has also slept with kaliyo a few more times than she'd like to admit)
