From below, there are some lores of ThebookAU. (It's not that important though)

ThebookAU is the world of 'the book series' that exists in The original AU, and The original AU is a TV program broadcasted in the world of ThebookAU. I think it is called a parallel world...? They're such a strange relationship. In the case of TheBookAU, everything that happened on the island of sodor has been forgotten. All of the railway on the island, now exists as just a heritage railway. And this is the story of people who recalled "forgotten memories" by....... a mysterious woman.

Something is Off..

After Toby and Rebecca went into the portal they were back to their home world "You still have the locket from Proteus?" Rebecca asked Toby he quickly showed her "Don't worry I won't lose it" he put the locket around his neck. They were a little bit far from Toby's home. They walked and talked while they were getting to his house.  When they finally got to Toby house they paused when they saw someone at Toby's front door they slowly got closer and realized it's someone familiar "Gordon? " Gordon jumped a little from Toby. He seemed off; he was very anxious Gordon had never acted like this before. "O-oh! Toby! Rebecca!" He looked relieved "I'm glad you two are alright the others and I have been looking for you two-" Gordon got quickly interrupted by Rebecca she quickly hug him tight she was very happy to hear and see Gordon is alright but she didn't notice the blood on Gordon hands and on the side of his face but Toby did and he was not happy at all.  "Well let's get to the others now." Said Toby as he started to walk away Gordon and Rebecca quickly caught up to him and then they walked to Edward's home where everyone was at. Toby never spoke one word to Gordon the whole walk there.

Well, I would say Green Arrow but he and I are still patching up our friendship. I like Arrow but it's still kind of awkward between us.

OH! I know! It's Rebecca or Tangmere as you might be more familiar with. She's looks a bit funny but she's an engine that doesn't mind my silly antics. (I'm a very silly engine sometimes 😘)

She doesn't make me feel like a child or talk down to me like sone of the other engines do so I'm really happy to call her my friend. 💚 💙

Bill and Ben decided to try and gang up on Edward in hopes of winning together. Unfortunately for them, Edward has plenty of steam and experience to fight both at once. Promptly sending Ben flying while Bill watched in shock.

Tada, here's a little gift for a friend. @steam-beasts behold! It's your Harold beast!. I hope you all enjoy it! Harold has just had a successful hunt for a shark but was unaware he was being hunted as well. On his way up, a submarine tries to breach and catch him. Thankfully Harold was fast and agile enough to avoid the threat. Retreating to the air for safety, good for him! The submarine however...is very upset by the failed attempt for air food.

Knowing that Duck's theme is a waltz while Diesel's is influenced by tango reflects how "similar but different" they technically are but it's also very interesting because both dances require a partner but neither of them are able to work together, thus implying they would not be a suitable pair.

A bit of an angst headcanon

So, the Talyllyn railway canonically exists in the ttte universe, because Awdry wanted to promote the railway using the fictional Skarloey engines. You know what this means?

As the Thomas Theorist said, it's REALLY coincidental how the Skarloey and Talyllyn railways have the nearly EXACT same history with the same exact railway (only difference being that the SKR is bigger) with the exact same events.

I've made up this headcanon that the Talyllyn engines all became secretly jealous and envious of the Skarloey engines for them getting their own books based on the events they went through, which were literally what happened to them as well, but this isn't the only reason; the Talyllyn engines all collectively agreed with each other that it just sometimes feels like most people and fans only ever come to see them mainly because they look identical to their twins. They're actually pretty sick of hearing their own siblings' names. ESPECIALLY during those Awdry Extravaganza, just imagine always having to dress up as your twin because they're part of the reason your railway is still in operation.

Another reason is that the Talyllyn fleet all rarely get to do goods work anymore, and the SKR is busy all the time. Talyllyn and Dolgoch specifically, both miss the heavy workloads they got back in the old days. Now all they do is pull passengers, which they're just really bored of doing at this point. I heavily implied it in my Conductor's Popper post, but Talyllyn and Dolgoch were abused in the early years, which led to them becoming envious at how much better their twin brothers' early years were.
