I love this image of Gortash from the Emperor's story.
Look at him.
Tumblr media
Look at his smug ass. He came to ruin both the Empreror and Stelmane's lives and is so proud of that.

my therapist really saved me….
#tw abuse // tw sa#i can’t sleep bc i keep thinking about this.#like i probably would’ve not been here if it weren’t for her#i started seeing her january of 2023… my life has changed entirely since then and she was definitely the one who got the ball rolling#literally so much has changed since then and it’s all because of her#i was so dissociated during our first few sessions#thanks to her i was able to get diagnosed and medicated for adhd. i was able to realize i was in an abusive situation and plan a way out#i was able to focus on myself and my healing and she’s helped me reframe so much of my negative thinking#i was able to process a lot of emotions and become a better version of myself with each session#she’s truly incredible.#i remember the first comment she made about the relationship had been ‘’so it’s like there’s an imbalance of control in the relationship’’#i had put my partners on such a high pedestal that i had no idea they could be doing anything wrong#and i asked her what she meant and she said ‘from what you’ve been describing it’s sounds like a strict parents and child type of dynamic’#she told me they didn’t need to understand why i wanted to leave and they didn’t need to make that decision. if that’s what was going to be#best for me the only thing i could do is let them know my reasoning and simply leave. i didn’t need their permission.’’#i remember being so confused at that realization bc like… i had been putting their emotions over mine the whole time i had forgotten simply#doing what’s best for me was an option… l#ever since then i’ve been putting myself first and it’s been a steady uphill from rock bottom… i’ve made an incredible amount of progress#when i first started with her getting out of bed and walking to the kitchen was incredibly difficult and took all my strength.#yesterday i conquered a mountain!!!!!!! i hiked all the way to the top!!!!! :D#me a year ago thought it was going to take me years and years to recover. as soon as i left i made leaps of progress#im incredibly proud of myself and grateful for her. and my reiki lady she’s also been a great great help.#the silver lining is i realized who really matters. and the relationships i cared about deepened.#my sweet virgo friend was the one who was always like ‘THATS A GROWN ASS MAN WHO CANT UNDERSTAND BASIC CONSENT???’#LMFAO i would be like ‘but he has trauma and bla bla bla’ she looked me dead in the eyes and said#’jess you said with your last boyfriend that you would never make excuses for a man who was hurting you again. stop defending him.’#she’s really a gem and i treasure her with my life. i hope she knows i love her. she’s family at this point#she’s also literally saved my life before (like deadass called 911 for help)#im glad i had the support system i had. that was a rough situation with so many layers and im glad i got through it#my 22nd year of life was by far the worst of my life and i don’t ever want to put myself in that situation again. im glad i learned.

Beautiful and amazing Kay, OC and tav that belongs to @stvrmgeist . Dad of the group, smiling proudly, because Gortash fell down the stairs. It may or may not be her doing. You'll never know. Vierna's near and they are as likely culprit. If not more likely.
Backstory for the drawing: I bet Sfinks how much the stuff I stole from Cazador is worth. Two rules: I don't sell magic items or books and we don't count coins. Who's closer wins. I bet 2,1k, they 2,5k. So 2,3k and less is my win, above theirs. 2 360 gold. The stakes was drawing each other's tav, so there she is! (And yes, I did have an advantage. Still lost. Stole almost everything that wasn't nailed to the floor or too high to reach)

The Talisman Chapter 7
Tumblr media
Woo, finally, we get to that sweet, sweet smut, and then we dive head first into the feelings, the conflict, the intrique! Join me as I light a match and watch as things get set on fire and there's pain, angst and pining and misunderstandings and false hopes, dashed to a million pieces. Mwahaha.
Chapter 7
He opened his eyes and huffed to remember he had to return these before he got up and got them and the bottle of wine and went into his own cabin and opened the door to the rest of the ship to see his aunt Naxi there by the door, patiently waiting for him.
“And?” She asked as she took the dishes from his hand.
“It’s going to be a long road with her. She’s closed herself off. I feel Velena is still there, putting her own guard around Bon.” He murmured as he handed her the dishes.
“Well in that case, the harem would like to know when and if they can receive seed from you.” She informed him.
“Not anytime soon.” He shook his head no.
“Your father had over two dozen sons by the time he was your age.” She reminded him.
“I know. But, like I’ve said for the last three years, the talisman keeps me from giving any, just like it forbade my father and grandfather from giving any to any other woman, which was why we had to resort to the ground method for everyone else.” He answered back with irritation still clear in his tone.
“If you do not give the harem seed, your brothers will surely take the harem over with their seed.” Naxi reminded him.
“Then let them. Tell my mother to release the harem she has built up for me. I do not want or need it. My Hashimi is right there and I’m happy to have the talisman on her and her alone. The way Worlf and Velena vowed to Uviem so long ago.” He insisted as you listened intently on the other side of your door to the conversation before you silently asked your talisman to show you what Udwar was talking about and referring to.
Uviem showed you the ceremony and translated the vows for you as Velena vowed that no other seed but Worlf’s would ever grow in her womb, as Worlf agreed that- not only would his seed never be planted in any other womb but hers, or else it should be dumped onto the earth, but also, that he would lay with no other than her, all the days of his life.
And Uviem kept Worlf to his word. That his cock could not and would not ever be inserted into any other person, and that the very seed itself was practically poisonous, venomous and toxic to anyone touching it unless it touched the ground first. And that the only way he could father other children with anyone else, was that he had to masturbate to thoughts of Velena first, let his bare seed touch the bare ground before that part of the vow was fulfilled and then his many wives could take it and use their own hands to insert it into themselves. Because Worlf’s vow had also vowed that he could not and would not bring any other woman to her pleasure but Velena.
The realization made you want to throw up in disgust and then, it was as if Velena was right there, watching this sick and twisted “ceremony”. She was saddened, disgusted yet in a way, smug. That even if Worlf broke his vows to her, that Uviem would hold the vow he made to them- true.
“It gets worse.” Velena offered as she looked up at you pointedly.
“How could it get worse?” You asked her before she grabbed your hand and pulled you through the tent flap into the large harem house, full of other women, with Udwar’s father doing the same thing for a harem of eager women in a courtyard, all of them practically locked up in a cage with only eunuchs to guard them as all of Udwar’s other brothers encouraged to plant their seed while they could into others, when they were barely sexually mature enough to do so. Udwar really was just a small child. Too young to understand what was happening. As you watched in horrified awe as these grown women, along with his mother try to hold him down so they could rape him. His mother telling him that ‘it was going to feel good’, ‘it was all natural’ and it sickened you to your core and you wanted to kill these women where they were. And it was like the talisman itself warned Ragnar who came in and stopped it, as Udwar had just barely had his pants ripped off of his own legs. Ragnar did kill the women where they were and told Udwar’s mother that if she ever did anything like this again, she would be next and that she was never worthy to be his mother and that she had become no better than an animal. Forbade her from ever touching him or being alone with him without Ragnar being present ever again. And how Udwar- never left his father’s side after that, unless it was to be with his grandmother while his grandfather satisfied the need for seed with his own harem. And how ever since, Udwar was forever scared and scarred in his mind after that. And it was because of that experience, rape of all kinds was outlawed and forbidden. Especially towards children.
It literally sickened you as you watched as Udwar’s younger brothers, who did feel it was ‘fun’ and enjoyable, jumped head first into sexual maturity and took any who they chose as many more harems of women were added and the harem’s house soon had to be something of a palace for all of the women.
The viciousness that was in it, was second to none. Not even Udwar’s ruthlessness in battle was any match for these women. And then to watch as Udwar’s mother gathered a harem for him when he was still, just a boy, had you throwing up in the nearest potted plant as if you were in that place with her. And you watched as Udwar was nearly tied down by these women, and nearly raped if it had not been for the talisman itself protecting him, even at such a young age, because it was as if the talisman knew he would be the next wearer.
But that once he did put it on, his harem nearly tripled in size. As nearly everything in your room were “gifts” from everyone in the harem, eager to be the first to please you, if only to better their own position within the palace. And how, even now, they were practically like vultures, always circling, always looking for even the tiniest drop of seed, just to be the first to offer him sons and daughters. But while the other harems were nearly bursting with children, his was full of nothing but other women of all kinds and his mother, who was wanting to be Dowager Queen Mother and had worked tirelessly to “repair” the broken relationship since that incident.
And how she practically stripped the best each woman had to give to you to entice you into the palace. And how, you would hopefully return the favor by using your half of the gold to build the harem a palace, practically made of it. Where gold would be in the tiles of the mosaics of the walls, the ceilings, the floors. Even the toilets. Where you would give birth to many sons on beds of golden silk and satin. Where not a speck of dirt ever entered such a place, more magnificent than any temple in the world. And where you would have more servants than you knew what to do with or could even hope to remember their names.
You shuddered at the thought of such a life being yours. You opened your eyes to see vomit at your feet and quickly cleaned it up before you quickly collected everything that had belonged to the harem, and dividing it up by who gave what. And even gave everything that had been taken since and divided it up as evenly as you could among the other women in the harem, and making sure to put their names with them and put it all in trunks by the door before you practically exhausted yourself and collapsed into bed.
You awoke in a dream, in that same golden palace as you were decked out in finery and had those same women become your servants as you were sitting to a banquet feast with Udwar’s mother, Katia, who was also decked out in finery and quite enjoying the service and attention. You were sure her crown was probably just as large and heavy as your own, while your head, neck and shoulders ached from it’s weight.
“You need to eat Daughter, you’ve had 24 lean years, you’re far too skinny.” Katia urged you as you delicately ate little bites of food from your plate, but because no other was eating, you didn’t really have any appetite.
“If only my sisters in the harem may eat with me, I do not wish to eat, while others watch.” You meekly replied.
“Very well, leave us the Queen and I wish to eat privately.” Katia ordered the others until it was just you and her.
“You need to get over it. Eating first gives you dominance. None of them would ever treat you with the same kindness or consideration. Every single one of those whores would leave you to starve if your positions were reversed.” She reminded you sternly.
“I thought the dragon rider lives on in you. I heard tales from Worlf of how wild she was. But you’re practically tepid as lukewarm water. You are Udwar the Conquering King’s Queen- Siobhan. You should act so. Now eat so you can gain weight and you will bear him sons, since it is only through you that I am to get any grandchildren.” She chastised you before she finished what was on her plate and left you there, in a huge palace of finery and luxury, with a large table, nearly overflowing with fatty delicacies, but all alone before you put the plate down and didn’t bother to take another bite before you got up and could simply wander around your section of the harem, as if lost within it as you were your own thoughts.
You heard a commotion and feared what it could be now before Udwar came in.
“Bonbon?” He called out to you before you rushed to him and found the only real comfort in this entire palace, within his embrace as you couldn’t help but cry tears of relief that he was with you once again.
“Is it over? Did you get it all?” You asked him as you hugged him and never wanted him to leave your side again.
“I did. And I brought you the best parts, just for you.” He answered as he hugged you back and kissed you tenderly before he showed you down the hallway that connected his palace with yours, since you had heard builders for the last several months working, but did not dare leave your own quarters to see since you knew that Udwar was not there to protect you personally. But he was back, getting the last of the gold from the island, using his talisman to guide him.
“Behold, a home away from home.” He offered as he showed you a replica of the house that was on the island. But was surrounded by gardens of all the plants that grew there. As even the land had been transported into an indoor tropical paradise, artificially made warm and even a bit humid to suit the plants as you watched as special streams of water flowed around the large room. And while he had his builders do their best to imitate the house exactly and even improve on it’s design, it still paled in comparison with the real thing. You felt even more homesick for it now, than you had ever felt before.
Tears flooded your vision and Udwar mistook those for tears of joy.
“I’m happy you like it.” He beamed happily and you didn’t have the heart to tell him otherwise.
“Any place that your head rests beside mine, is always going to be home My King.” You tried to flatter despite your breaking heart.
“Well, now that I’m home, we can eat together. I can see that you’ve lost weight again. Did the others chase away your appetite again?” He asked, with concern in his voice.
“Your mother did.” You answered as you self consciously hugged yourself, to hide the fact that your body was being practically drowned in this gown and jewelry.
Udwar only sighed and groaned.
“I’ll be right back. Enjoy your new home, My Queen.” He urged as he left and had a talk with his mother about how she was treating you as you could practically hear her gripes and complaints from where you were. About how she was far too heavy to walk on the eggshells that your skin seemed to be as thin as.
You took off the heavy crown and the jewelry and then slipped the dress off of your shoulders and even the undergarments and looked at the form that your head now called it’s body. Gone were the tattoos. Gone was all your strength, life, and vitality. You were now practically an empty shell, and a husk of yourself. There was no way this body was ever going to survive becoming pregnant, let alone giving birth. You could see your ribs and your spine on your own back, your hip bones jutted out from your pelvis. And while your calluses on your hands were gone, so was the soul in your eyes, because your soul had left you when you had left that island, and when you had hatched Chevron, from the very nest- now turned into a bassinet for your future children here- only for him to fly away and never come back. You crawled into the bed, and pulled up the covers and cried some more when they smelled like the ones back on the real island as you fell into a fitful sleep, remembering the wonderful times you spent on that island with Udwar, when you both had first arrived.
And while you had wanted to stay, Udwar had too many responsibilities back here. And you loved him too much to be parted from him. So you insisted that wherever he was, you should be too. And that the home itself didn’t matter, only that where you rested your head and where he rested his- was the same place. And you had convinced yourself of that, the whole way back here. And when you got here with the first wave of gold and built this palace, you had begun to tire of everyone thanking you and insisting that you were the last blessing to make this kingdom complete. And everything was perfect and everyone was happy.
But not for long. And soon the wealth and luxury was expected and demanded and spent as quickly as it came in.
Soon, Udwar had to go back and get the rest of it, leaving you here in this palace of gold. And you had missed him terribly. And realized that you were in a palace of hundreds of other women, but not a single, true friend among them. And his mother was not good company, she was eager to make you up into her own image but she was a warrior in her own right, who battled bloody battles herself, but instead of weapons of steel and iron, she used ones of intrigue, plots, doubts and suspicions and motives and intentions, shadows and secrets.
She was used to ruling in her own right and was happy to do so while Udwar was away, ruling in his name and because you did not care for politics, she practically ruled in your name too. Which only led to your own retreat within your own section of the Queen’s Palace. And you withdrew from everyone and everything and had made- for yourself, your own prison of gold. And you felt more alone now than you ever did after your own mother died. And now that Udwar was back, you sensed how he was no longer solely yours. You now had to share him with his own kingdom and empire. Let alone his mother and everyone else.
But this artificial paradise was a sad imitation of the real thing. And it only made your homesickness worse and made you, sadly, long for the days before you ever met Udwar, and before you ever let him conquer the one thing you never should have let him conquer- you.
Oh if only you could go back and convince yourself that you should have been strong enough to stand up for what you really needed. A real home, in the place you knew in your bones should have always been your home all along.
You awoke from that nightmare and this time, you were back in the real home on the real island as you breathed a sigh of relief to be back.
But the only thing with you in the bed, was Chevron, who was sprawled out on the bed, leaving you with only a sliver of the bed itself before you slipped from the bed and used the house’s artificial sun lights to lighten the house and move about in it. As you reached up and felt that your talisman was gone. You gasped and felt practically naked without it.
“Udwar?” You called out but he didn’t answer as you searched the house and then left the house, calling for him some more before you ran from the house, to the other tower, only to find it was empty. Not a speck of gold was left behind. The tower itself was hollow and you could see clear up through the center of it to the stars beyond it as you soon could see in your mind’s eye, the last time you saw Udwar. It was when you both returned to the island, he had gotten his gold first, and then, because you had kept yourself withdrawn from him, he had honored the promise and the vow, of taking the gold but leaving you, alone there, to take ownership of the island as your home.
The two of you went to the temple and returned the talismans, to free both of you from them. And then he had boarded the last ship with the last load of gold and offered for you to come with him as his queen, and you had politely refused. And instead, were insistent that you were happy and content and satisfied with your choice to stay here, but urged him to return to his own home and his own family. And simply watched as he sailed away, and had yet to return.
And every time there was a storm and shipwrecks, you had kept the treasure with you, you built treasure chests and filled them, as if waiting for him to come back to claim it. But without the talisman, he really couldn’t get back, even if he wanted to. And you didn’t know when the last time you were with him was- but it felt excruciatingly long.
When Chevron awoke, you saddled him up and used the same map that Udwar had made but left with you, with the invitation to come to him, should you ever miss him. You loaded up as much treasure as you could, and flew there, only to see Udwar, there with his harem, each woman now bearing a child. As it seemed he had finally fucked his way through them all, as he had too many children to try to hold them all. He had moved on, and while he was happy to have children of his own, you could also see that no matter how many women he had in his harem, each one looking more like you than the last, that he liked them, but did not love any of them.
You could do little but simply unload the treasure onto his own balcony, as he seemed to suddenly appear.
“Bonbon? Is that you?” He asked breathlessly as he recognized your shape from where he stood.
“Your Majesty.” You greeted as formally and respectfully as you could.
“Oh, don’t you dare.” He tried to laugh off while he approached you, but looked at you as if you were a fevered dream like fantasy brought to life.
“There were more shipwrecks. That had more gold. I know since you don’t have the talisman, that you can’t come and get it. But I came to drop it off, just in case you spent everything already.” You tried to excuse as you gestured to it.
“You didn’t have to. There was so much there, that there is no way, if I had a hundred lifetimes, I would ever get to spend it all.” He excused.
“So, was it just the gold, that you came to deliver or…?” He asked as he approached you, almost hesitantly, as if he moved too much, too fast, you’d disappear like a mirage, but even without the talismans, the two of you were still drawn together. As if the universe itself decided you were star crossed lovers.
“Would you believe me if I said I missed you?” You posed.
“Yes, because I’ve missed you like crazy.” He readily confessed.
“Like what?” You asked.
“I’ve missed you. I’ve missed your company, and your peace that I always seem to feel in your presence. And I’ve missed that damn talisman, and the tattoos and the feeling of knowing where you were, how you were doing, what you were feeling. And to a degree- what you were thinking, even when you didn’t need to say anything at all. I’ve missed being on that ship, sailing the seas with you, and finding that wonderful tropical paradise with you. And I’ve missed swimming in the pools with you. And going to Uviem’s temple. And I’ve missed having you, as the closest being in the world to me, right there beside me, to explore and enjoy practically the whole world with you.” He readily confessed, because if he didn’t say how he was feeling now, he was never going to forgive himself.
“That’s funny, because I’ve missed the same things about you, much more than I’d like to admit. But I’ve missed you too. I’ve missed planning and working with you. I’ve tried to put mosaics up that grotto, but my artistic talent is incredibly lacking without your creative imagination- sparking my own inspiration.” You admitted as you approached him in turn before you were standing toe to toe and simply looking in each other’s eyes, able to see the beautiful soul beyond them.
“The flowers are blooming again on the island. The air smells better than any perfume in the world. There is game enough to hunt in the jungle, more fruit than I could ever eat, hanging in the trees, ripe and ready to eat. The mouras stop by to get all the silver, leaving the gold untouched. They come to rest, and eat my surplus and even trade with me but are gone just as quickly as they come. Which, you know the mouras.” You excused.
“So none of them stay? Even as lovely and sweet as you are?” He asked, as you could see the faintest of jealousy start to take possession of him.
“Not for any longer than a meal, and a nap. Which, I’m happy and content with. Besides, there’s no room for anyone but Chevron and me in that house. He hogs most of the bed anyway. There’s never any more room in it for me to share it with anyone else.” You revealed as he seemed to breathe a small, silent breath of relief.
“I see that your family has grown since we saw each other last. You now have more children than you do fingers and toes, have you run out of names for them all?” You asked as you nodded back in towards the palace.
“Oh, no, my uh, my concubines seem to find all kinds of names for them.” He answered, a bit guiltily as his cheeks flushed darker in the bright moonlight.
“What about your wives?” You asked.
“I have yet to marry any of them, so I don’t have any wives, let alone- a wife, and actually my mother…” He began to groan in irritation.
“Is she on your ass to pick a concubine to marry so that you have a full and legal wife, so that you can have a queen?” You guessed.
“Yes, exactly.” He confirmed.
“But you feel like, even if you did have a queen, what would be the point? Your mother’s been ruling in your name since you took on the talisman, and left to find me. And even if you were to marry any of those women, she would never really, truly rule beside you, because she would always be overshadowed and out trumped by your mother anyway.” You surmised.
“Yes, precisely. But I doubt you would ever let her do such a thing to you right?” He asked.
“I guess we’ll never know. Because I still don’t want to be your queen of your kingdom Udwar. I never did, you know that. You saw the vision that talisman gave us both, how miserable I would be. And besides, I’m a daughter of Neveah now. I can’t leave or abandon my home. But you are a King of your Kingdom. You can’t abandon it, nor your little ones either. So we’re at an impasse Udwar, just like we’ve always been. Both of us, feeling that we are where we are meant to be, even if that means we must spend our lives apart. We’ve both made choices, we need to live with the ones we’ve made. I’m as happy as I can be with my choice Udwar, I can only hope that you are as happy with yours as I am with mine.” You offered with an apologetic look.
“But are you happy? Really and truly happy?” He asked, as he clearly doubted the truthfulness of your words.
“I’m happier in my home, than I ever would be here in this palace, with your other concubines Udwar. I would never really be truly happy here with you, even if you were to marry me and make me your wife and make me your queen over them…” You began to counter before he reached out to gently grasp your face and kiss you, and kiss you like a man starved for affection his whole life as you couldn’t help but practically melt like the chocolate you were named after within his hold as you kissed him back, as if you had been starving yourself, but not for any food, but for love and affection.
And in an instant you were both, somehow undressed and making love to one another, right there on the balcony, on a daybed, under the stars, with Chevron, taking refuge in the courtyard underneath. Both of you- eager to both pour yet take all the love and comfort from each other as quickly as possible, not wanting to waste a single second. You had barely orgasmed, and basked in any afterglow before you were eager for more, but this time, taking your time to savor everything. Every kiss, every look, every sigh, every keen, every moan. Everything about the other that you could sense. The look, the taste, the scent, and especially the touch.
“I love you, Siobhan. My perfect Bon. My most delicious Bonbon.” Udwar professed.
“I love you too Udwar. My conqueror and especially, my liberator.” You mirrored him as you were happy to lean into his touch as his hand cupped your cheek as you cupped his in your own.
“Then stay with me.” He pleaded.
“I can’t. It would kill me, slowly but surely. It would, you and I both know I can’t stay here and rule over…” You tried to argue before he silenced you with a kiss.
“The only thing I want you to rule over, is my heart and my soul.” He professed.
“Udwar, you were the King of my heart, long before you ever sat on that throne.” You mirrored as you lost yourself with him into passions. But yet, when he finally fell asleep, Chevron returned to you.
“I know, I know, we need to go now before it’s too late.” You breathed in a whisper as you left the bed and could only leave Udwar with a letter.
‘King of My Heart, as much as this pains me to write, I must tell you all of my thoughts, not just the pretty and loving ones. As much as you are the only rightful King of my heart, and as much as you claim I am the queen of your heart and soul, I can not be such things, because such things are incomplete. I can’t be the queen of your heart and soul if I can not also have your whole mind and body, which you have already given to others, especially your kingdom.
You have already shared such things with everyone else you feel you have an obligation and a responsibility to. As much as I want you to come back with me and reign only over me, you have already made the choice to be King over so much more than that. And if my own heart and soul were not enough for you to be King over when we were both on the island, then there is never going to be enough for you to be king right here either, even if I were to stay. And as much as I want to say that ‘my home will always be, where both of our heads may lay’, such words can’t be true.
Your home is here. Mine is on the other side of the world, outside Neveah. You had your chance and your choice to share my home with me and live with me in our own personal paradise of our own making, but you didn’t.
And I can not call this place home, because we both know that this palace and especially those in it, would kill me. Not at first and not directly, but who knows how many years it would take for my own heart and soul to be worn away like the waves wash upon the sands and the tides take it out to sea. I have already suffered enough, I do not wish to add to such suffering, only for the very riches that you and those in your kingdom hold so valuable, but wash up with trash with me. What is any amount of gold compared to my own freedom? Compared with my own home? My own jungle forest and garden that give me more than enough food to fill my belly and the bellies of all those who come to me? Where I lack nothing, but you and your love.
And because you now have children here, with your harem. I would never want you to abandon them, just for any child I would ever bear you. Because I would always fear that they and my own humble house- would never be enough, now that you have a whole palace of gold that’s already ten times the size my little island ever was. And we both know that any efforts to recreate it here, would only ever end in disaster. Because if you can’t have the real thing, you are always going to resent the imitation.
I love you too much to ever want to resent you or this great palace that you’ve built, practically with your own two hands. Or resent the other concubines or worry about what schemes and intrigues they would plot against me and any children I would bear you. Children deserve better than that and you know it. They should just be children, they should play and have fun and have friends of their own. And not think like a politician from the cradle. Nor have their own mothers plot their own ascension to your throne, even if they have to step on the bodies of their own half siblings and wade through their blood to get to it.
And as much as I love you and as much as I want to stay. I can’t. It’s not my pride, it’s my own heart and soul that that talisman has tied to that island because I’m its heiress. And I’ve inherited it, through and through. And the Nevehans have accepted me as inheriting it as a natural birthright too.
And Chevron’s home is there too. I can’t ask him to give up his home as well. You and I both know that he would fly away and never come back if I were to stay here. And Chevron and I were always meant to be together too.
I’m sorry Udwar, you chose your crown, your kingdom, and this palace and your other family over any you would ever have with me. And while the bed you’ve made for yourself is a fine and luxurious one, only you can lay in it and find rest.
Because I can not.
You’ve made the same decision that Worlf made. You chose a crown and a kingdom, over any love you have for me. I don’t hate you for your choice. I just feel sorry for you if they do not give you the happiness, joy and satisfaction you were hoping they would.
But, when your children have grown and you no longer wish to rule on your throne, you know exactly where and how to find me. Because I’ll be there.” You offered in the letter before you slipped it next to his head on the pillow your head once laid on, you pulled yourself away from him and leapt off of the balcony at the same moment Chevron took to the skies as you had him fly you home, because your tears flooded your vision too much to see anything else otherwise.
You awoke to dried tears down your cheeks, and a damp pillow, and a very heavy heart, but you had to deal with the things by your door.
You slipped out of the room and found Naxi.
“Good morning Hashimi Bon, are you ok?” She asked as she saw your bloodshot eyes.
“Yes, well, no, I had a bad nightmare, that’s all. I um, I wanted to ask you about something I overheard.” You began as you simply took the dish of food she had put together for you as you stood there in the galley with her.
“What did you hear?” She asked, a bit worriedly as she pulled you into the spice closet with her and shut the door behind you.
“I heard that Udwar has a harem?” You posed, as if it was a question.
“Well, his mother does have a house, that she keeps other potential mates for him, should his quest for you be as unsuccessful as his father’s quest was for your mother.” She answered carefully.
“I wish to give gifts to such persons, so that they know that, not only was he successful, but that their own generosity that they might have shown me, is returned to them. And before we get to the island and get the mountain of gold, that Uviem has shown me in dreams, I wish to send a first wave. From the goods and treasures and spoils that Udwar has already gotten on his way to me. But, at present, such things are practically clutter in my room, even as large and lavishly luxurious as it is. I fear, I have no need for them right now and I will have no need for them when we get to the island, which will have an overabundance of such things there, that I wish to also send back to them, for surely they will have a need and especially a want of such things. For Udwar’s mother especially. I understand she rules in his name since he has been on his conquest. I wish for her rule to remain stable and well funded as it is well founded.” You tried to explain as pleasantly, flatteringly and as sweetly as you could.
“Oh! Oh you don’t have to.” She tried to shake her head no with a pleasant smile.
“Please, I insist, I can’t enjoy my room if I can barely move around in it, and fear knocking everything over and damaging such precious things. Is there any room on any of the other ships for it? Or perhaps anyone that would be from his mother’s home here that could take them either for themselves or for Udwar’s mother?” You asked.
“I’ll take anything off your hand you don’t want.” Another young woman volunteered through the door before you opened it to see every woman on the ship, practically crowded around the door.
“Yeah, me too.” Another said before Naxi could argue.
“Then please come.” You invited before all of the younger, more eager women practically fled the galley and eagerly followed you to your rooms as you took away the notes and were happy to give them, all that they could carry and hold, thanking you for your generosity and were happy to carry out their arm fulls of treasures from your room and greeted Udwar and were eager to show him how generous you were and how wonderful you were and how, befitting the honor of being his Hashimi was as he simply blinked in surprise but when you appeared and confirmed your claims that such things had been cluttering your rooms and that you could not enjoy the room for what it was with all of this in the way and you feared damaging and were quite overwhelmed, then he seemed to accept it and agreed that you were indeed, very generous and that were welcome to keep such gifts and then slipped into your room once they left to see how they practically stripped it bare.
“Ah, much better, I feel like I can breathe in here now.” You breathed in relief and closed the windows to keep the cool in but keep out the heat and humidity as you both seemed to sense some storms on the horizon, judging by the color that the sun had risen with that morning. Udwar noticed that you didn’t get rid of all the jewelry though, you kept all of the abalone and seashell and coral jewelry, and the jade and other semi precious carved stone jewelry. In fact, you kept more than he thought you would after such a dream from last night. Even though he feared if he told you that you had shared such a dream with him, you would never sleep again to keep your own dreams private from him. He did notice that just about every single bit of silver remained while you seemed to keep a few, small, discrete things for yourself.
“You don’t like gaudy do you?” Udwar realized.
“Nor ostentatious, obnoxious or flagrant.” You confirmed.
“So all of that was…?”
“It was too much. I do not need such treasures because the ones that will be on the island when we get there, will surpass them anyway. I do not need or want such things. When I said that you and those with you could keep all the gold on the island, I meant it. And any gold in my possession now, I’m happy to give to those who want and need it now. Besides, what would I spend it on anyway? You already provide me with everything I need and want as it is. Anything more is just…extra clutter for me at this point.” You tried to explain before he seemed quite touched, humbled and it warmed his heart that you felt that way.
“I’m glad you trust me to care for you. It’s my honor and privilege to do so.” He insisted as he stood a little straighter with his chest puffed with a bit more pride as his smile seemed brighter and happier before his aunt came in and looked at the room in alarm.
“Oh good, thank you for coming Naxi. Thank you so much for breakfast and for allowing your assistants to receive gifts from me. I’m happy they like them and enjoy them.” You offered to her.
“Did…did the gifts not please you?” She asked worriedly.
“Oh, they did! But at this point, they were an embarrassment of riches and I do not wish to hoard such riches all to myself. Or learn to rely solely on them. Udwar has already done so much for me and given me treasures that have no equal and no price. I wished to share such things with those who work hard and have earned them through their long terms of service.” You tried to explain.
“Besides, I know if I have any other needs from here- until we get to the island, that Udwar will see to it that they’re met and satisfied. And I know we will be sailing close to his home on the way to the island. And if any wish to split off and return there and prepare for the mountain of gold to be moved from the island to his home. There will be a lot of work there, especially if such treasures will be used to build a kingdom of it’s own. I wish to invigorate such efforts now, and not have anyone else wait even longer for such rewards that are surely coming their way. Think of it like a small appetizer before a main course.” You expounded.
“Oh! Oh, now I understand. Of course Hashimi, of course. Yes. I agree, thank you so much for being so thoughtful and generous to such a cause. I did not think I understood you fully this morning then. But yes, if that is the case, then I think we can afford to send most of the delicate passengers back home, to make room on the ships themselves for such precious cargo.” Naxi urged Udwar.
“I agree.” You chimed in with a hopeful look towards him.
“I also agree. It’s settled, I will send who I can back home, with that explanation, and send the smaller passenger ships back, but keep the cargo vessels, and keep them freed except for funds to restock supplies on the way there.” Udwar found himself nodding along with such a decision and left to go relay such a message to the others.
“I have a favor to ask of you Hashimi.” Naxi murmured once he left.
“What is it?” You asked.
“Udwar’s harem. In fact it’s just about every young girl, both on this ship and all of the others. His mother kept the most important ones with her and sent the more servant minded ones with him. But if he is to be the Great King that he has always been a promising Prince to- he needs to have many heirs to choose from. And as I’m sure you are aware, he needs to give seed in order for such seed to take root. If you can, at all get him to either give you his seed, if you will permit me, any excess, I wish for it to be shared with the others. Because the talisman keeps him from doing so himself, since his grandfather swore his seed would never be spilled in any other, and unfortunately, the god who empowers the talisman keeps that vow to all the heirs, whether they vowed that or not.” She tried to delicately explain.
“I…will bring such things up to him when it’s time and when it’s appropriate and a comfortable subject for us to discuss candidly with each other.” You placated which brought a look and smile of relief to her face.
“Thank you, so far, he seems to follow every word you say, and I see that you have come to understand that and are using it to better and benefit all who follow him. And you do not abuse such power, which is why you carry the honor of being his Hashimi so well.” She explained.
“Thank you, I have unfortunately seen the disaster that comes with misuse of power and I do not wish to make the same mistake.” You explained as politely as you could before you heard the first bits of drizzle start to pour.
“Oh I better go and make sure things are secured below deck, just in case this storm comes with large waves.” She offered and left your room. But your answer, while it pleased her in the moment, did not settle well with you and you paced around the room, letting your legs naturally get used to the rocking of the ship as you did so.
“Hey, are you ok?” Udwar asked as he was returning to his room to get something, and was clearly wet from being on the top deck.
“Yeah, go and do…whatever you have to do Udwar.” You tried to offer with a polite smile but he simply frowned and came into the room and shut the door behind him as he walked over to you.
“No you’re not ok. I can feel how much anxiety is weighing on your chest, as if a bull decided to sit on it.” He argued.
“I had a very bad nightmare last night, and I do not know if it was just a bad dream or a vision of a talisman or what.” You admitted.
“Come on, tell me.” He invited as he had you sit with him on the couch suspended by the roof so that- it stayed stable, even with the rocking of the waves.
“I had another dream you were a small boy, and your mother and other grown women tried to tie you down and rape you. Your father came in and stopped it just as they got your trousers and underwear off. He practically slaughtered the women right there and threatened to kill your mother if she ever did that to you again and from that day on, you never left his side, except to be with your grandmother and uncles when he had to satisfy the need for seed in his harem.” You confessed.
“It was like I was there, both watching helplessly, yet in the past, the dream was as if it was my own father, who I had never known, with other men who practically his own age doing the same thing to me before my mother could rescue me and kill him. But last night, instead of it being in my perspective, it was as if I was in yours. I was practically your skin and it was happening to me. If the talisman is showing me real events that happened in your past, how do you ever heal from that kind of trauma? How do you ever trust anyone? How do you ever forgive anyone for such a crime?” You cried before you both seemed to reach for the other as Udwar was actually crying too.
“Years of time. That’s how. Yes, that really did happen. And it took years of time to heal from something like that. I still don’t fully trust my own mother, nor have I truly ever forgiven her for it. But she’s all I have. The other women in the harem were eager to kill me my whole life so that my half brothers would be king. My grandmother died shortly after that. And my mother never had any other children than me. So it’s only because of her that I got to be where I am, unfortunately. And she’s been the hand to feed and until I could hunt on my own, I couldn’t bite her hand so to speak.” He confessed.
“I’m so sorry Udwar, no wonder you’re so defensive and vigilant about it. Does your aunt Naxi know?” You asked.
“She doesn’t know the details, only that it happened. And while she is much better to me than my mother, she is still the sister of my mother and doesn’t believe my mother was capable of that, and insists that I was misremembering things, even though my dad told her what really happened.” He admitted.
“Then I need to cuss her out for having the audacity to ask me to ask you for your sexual seed. I refuse. That is beyond inappropriate and disgusting and I will never, ever do such a thing to you, and I will never, ever let anyone else do that for you either. I wish I could cast a spell onto it that it was poisonous and toxic to everyone, whether it touched the ground or not, or even if I touched it or not. And came out dead so that it couldn’t be used without your consent period. And that the only time it wasn’t like that, was when you really wanted it to be otherwise.” You cried into his chest and clung to him.
“I’m so sorry Udwar, I’m so sorry. I should have stood up to her for you. I should have told her to go to every circle of hell first before I would ever dream of doing anything like that to you. I should have told her that the talisman showed it to me when I was a girl, and I wished for such things for myself, and they happened to both of us.” You insisted.
“While I appreciate it, just wait ok? I need her to keep cooking. Could you lie and say that I avoid it, even with you?” He pleaded.
“Yes, I can do that. I can hold her off for as long as I need to- for you. I will hold them all off, I will be so jealous and obsessive, I won’t give them an inch, because I know they want to take a mile. Whatever it takes to protect you. I will be damned to every circle of hell if I fail you on this. That is an unforgivable sin to commit against any child. And absolutely should be given such a punishment for. Such people should have their hands cut off and wear signs in the streets and stoned to death for such a thing.” You insisted as you practically crawled into his lap and wrapped yourself as much around him as you could, as tight as you could as he did the same.
“I may be half your size but I have the spirit of a dragon in me. I’ll spit fire at them if I have to. No one will ever touch you without your consent, not even me. This talisman ties us together, but you should keep me as close or as far away as you need to, I promise, my feelings will never get hurt because of it. You absolutely need to have your own boundaries absolutely respected.” You insisted.
“Sorry, am I?” You asked as an afterthought.
“Don’t you dare leave me now.” Udwar laughed through his own tears as he held you and kept you from retreating, which got you to bark a laugh through your own tears before you melted into his embrace again.
“Blood oath or not, I swear I will never harm you, either directly or indirectly. I will never ask anything of you that is painful or uncomfortable for you to give. No matter how much pleasure anyone else would find in it. If it’s harmful, it’s harmful, in any and every sense ok? And if you do find such an activity with someone pleasurable, I will play as dumb and ignorant as I need to be. Or tell any lie I need to about it ok? As far as I’m concerned to everyone but you- ‘your seed is poisonous and toxic to everyone, whether it’s touched the ground or not, or touched me or not. And will not sprout in any condition or womb, even mine, so don’t even bother asking’.” You insisted firmly.
“Ok.” Udwar happily agreed as he felt such a profound sense of relief that, at long last, he was truly safe.
“Here, let’s shake on it.” He suggested before he pulled a small blade out before you took it sliced at your palm before you saw his own break open and start to bleed before you touched palms with him and shook them with him as you felt something else, rather strange happen for both of you, it was like the magic that Chevron’s egg had bestowed upon you, was shared with him as the talisman’s themselves seemed to grow and change, as did the tattoos themselves, before you both started giggling and trying to scratch at the other’s skin to relieve the itch there, pulling at the other’s clothes to get under the clothes. And soon the touches went from innocent scratches, to not so innocent touches.
“Keep touching me.” Udwar whispered headily before his lips softly captured yours, as his hands simply pressed and rested on your bare skin of your back, under your clothes as you softly keened at the affection and were happy to kiss him back.
“Are you sure? Are you sure you want me to?” You asked him.
“You and only you. In the whole wide world.” He nodded.
“Do you want me?”
“Yes, you and only you in the whole wide world.” You found yourself professing before you kissed him back and deeper as your hands framed his handsome face while your pelvis ground down into his, in time with the waves that were rocking the boat.
In only the last two weeks, your body seemed to transform into a woman with strength but very little body fat, to a very strong yet voluptuous woman, which meant you only filled out your clothes that much better. Your breasts swelled and grew heavy, your waist staying slim and pinched but now your hips and arse much fuller and fatter. And the way these Neveahan clothes fit you, you felt- left little to the imagination. But they were supremely comfortable and you grew more and more comfortable in them by the minute.
It took some adjustments to get the both of you undressed, but still suspended on that couch hanging from the ceiling, but once his bare flesh was barred and touched with yours, now you felt you understood and appreciated the full meaning of ‘one flesh’. And for you to seat yourself onto him, was like finally feeling whole and full- after living your life in a near constant state of starvation. The talisman’s kept the two of you linked as well and you used the boat’s rocking to assist and enhance your lovemaking.
You kissed every scar you could feel on his chest and neck. And were happy when you sensually bit and nipped at various pulse points that the talisman told you were good for it, as if he was a favorite lover of yours all along that you innately knew almost as well as you knew yourself. As it seemed the talisman had given him equal knowledge about you, and how to make love to you best. He did things with his mouth and hands and body that you had no idea could be done and would feel as good as they did.
It was unbelievably pleasurable. Better than that chocolate bonbon ever was. You smiled when you realized this had long been a fantasy of yours, ever since you took on the talisman, that your conqueror would come for you, but that you alone would be the one to conquer him, especially like this, and that you would be loved, the way your mother always wished she could be, and wanted you to be, wholly, completely, without question or reserve. And feel and know in your very bones that you would never be betrayed, nor would ever betray in turn. To be loyal and be shown loyalty and fidelity without waiver.
You were the first and only person Udwar wanted to be touched and loved like this by, just like he was that for you. And while the wait for this had been incredibly long, it had been well worth it.
Just as lightning struck and thunder boomed, he hooked his hands behind your knees and pulled back, so that his cock buried itself as deeply into you as it could as your arms that were wrapped around his neck and shoulders held your upper body up and next to his. The action made your head lull back and a pleasured keening moan spill from your mouth. You were so exquisitely stuffed, yet you were greedily hungry for more.
A dip in the wave saw your body threatening to pull off of him but the couch was so deep, practically a daybed, suspended, that his knees were planted into it, under you. He had more than enough purchase, and with the rise up with the next wave, he used the momentum to hook your knees over his elbows so that your legs hiked up and out, leaving your sex hanging and more weight for his hips to hike up into you. While his hands practically laced behind the small of your back, so you were perfectly seated as he leaned back onto his heals from this kneeling position.
Udwar smiled proudly when his own portrait seemed to bloom on one half of your chest, while the other still held onto the picture of the island. But he was sure, that soon, the one would soon overtake the other, like an advancing army, conquering territory. Only the territory was your heart, love and affections and your own sense of belonging.
He did not doubt at all that you were both destined to be together. He just needed the place in which you would both call home, to eventually be one and the same, and not separate places across the supersphere.
You cried out in tortured bliss just as your orgasm bloomed within you and your whole body seemed to tense while your womanhood squeezed, and fluttered over him, the crash of thunder and the splash of the waves against the ship drowning you out, yet it was as if, Udwar’s senses had hyper focused on you. All of you. The sight of your face and body, the touch of your soft skin, and even the scratch of your calloused hands was sexy. The scent of your body was a scent flooding his nose and the taste of you, like chocolate, melting and coating his tongue. A taste, more divine than any other thing he had ever tasted.
He laid back into the cushions when the boat rocked so hard, it pushed him off of his knees, but that was only to push you on top of him as he finally released and came inside you, his grunt and keen making him close his eyes tightly and his jaw to clench while, a lustful fire blazed in his heart and radiated out from the center of his chest, but it was like it was mirrored in yours.
His body laxed into the soft couch with yours as you both had to take a few breaths to steady and recover as the feeling of you smile into the skin of his chest had him mirroring the smile.
“Oh, you’re not hurting are you?” Udwar asked after a moment.
“Nope. Poisonous and toxic to everyone, but me. The talisman told me so.” You grinned triumphantly
“Oh, good.” He breathed in relief, before the rocking then took on a steady rhythm before you moved from over him to simply nestled onto his side, between the pillows and him, and with a blanket pulled over the two of you, it was perfectly cozy, with the splattering of rain on the windows beginning to pull you both down into sleep as he happily seemed to squirm and then settle to have you by his side, under his arm, with your head over his heart, that had only beaten for you for as long as he could remember as you finally, felt at peace, and maybe, just maybe, you could have hope that in the end, you would both get what you wanted, your mate, and the home you always wanted- being the one place you could both agree on being the one and only place both of you felt you belonged and could live happily together in, and never have to be parted from this moment on- from.
All the while- the winds and currents both hurried you- in the storm itself, to the one place, you both began to dread going- his home- in the nation his father and grandfather before him had founded.

simon had easily conquered sephora. light work. aritzia was an entirely different demon.
he didn’t know why he felt like he was in competition with the other men lounging on the ‘boyfriend couch’ in the fitting room area.
all he knew was he was puffing his chest out as far as he possibly could and spreading his legs as wide as they could go without tearing his balls in two.
he also didn’t love that there were no private mirrors in each fitting room, that you had to come out and parade yourself in front of everybody just to see how the clothes fit.
and simon wasn’t insecure by any means, just protective.
it must’ve been a good day for you because each outfit you came out in was fitting you in all the right places, and simon knew it!
you returned to your fitting room after showing off one particular dress for him, and it was his last straw.
see, he also wasn’t particularly a fan of the whole curtain situation. all this frilly decor and they couldn’t afford to install some good, sturdy doors?
simon took to relocating himself right outside of your room, making sure each end of the curtain was touching wall to wall so there was absolutely no peeking.
you were too busy pulling on a pair of jeans to even notice his new position. when you ripped the curtain open to show him you yelped.
“simon! you scared me, jeez—”
you waited for him to budge but he wouldn’t move.
“si, i have to see how these fit.”
he still didn’t move, staring down at you with crossed arms.
“how ‘bout i tell you if they fit or not.”
he manhandled you to spin around so he could see the back.
“mhm, these ones look good.”
you’re just glad he didn’t take the time to notice the $200 price tag.
