Yuh so imma just drop this really old thing I wrote a while ago with my ocs hrhrr

Includes many outdated facts like Ren going out frequently and them living in a warehouse

actually Ren is not allowed to go out by himself and they live in Clyde's apartment but anyways

Oh also I hadn't really figured Clyde's personality out back when I wrote this so uhh ye

Oh ye also the kit having a cat thing was based on a drawing I made at the time, not sure if I'm keeping it in canon

Anyways onto the thing itself

Ren “RN-E5” finds a moth

One time, while Ren was outside on one of the buildings observing from a high place like usual, he found a moth, or rather a moth found him.

“Hmm? Whats this?” Ren said when he noticed a cool bug, “it looks so cool! And fluffy!” Ren said surprised by the coolness of the bug “i should go show everyone!” Ren said to himself excited about the cool bug. Ren then stood up and spread his wings, preparing to fly back home, which is the warehouse they stay in, except while doing so the moth got scared and flew away. “W-WAIT!” Ren asked the moth while trying to follow it. “I didnt mean to scare you!” Ren said while the moth continued to fly away.

Ren started to fly behind the moth, trying to not crash with it. The moth tried to speed up since there was a giant (compared to the moth) robot following it. “I dont wanna hurt you! I just wanna show you my friends thats all!” Ren said to the moth attempting to make it stop.

After a while of flying and attempts at persuading the moth, they started to get tired. Then the moth went into a narrow place, trying to escape the robot thats been following it for three hours now. Ren finally realised that he was scaring the moth all this time, and also decided he should probably save the charge he has left for the flight home. “Oh uhm, sorry i didnt mean to scare you like that.” ren said while preparing to leave.

After a bit he reached the warehouse and landed. When he went inside he took off his wings and decided that he should probably go to bed early this time since he flew alot that day, except he was interrupted by clyde who noticed he finally came home after staying outside later than usual. “So what were you up to today?” Clyde asked ren, “i found this really cool bug today and wanted to be friends with it and show you guys like kit did with their cat! Except i might have followed it for too long and scared it so i thought i should probably leave alone.” Ren told clyde. “And you were flying all this time? No wonder your battery started to run out.” Clyde said while leaning on the wall, “hehe, yeah, i did that!” Ren said while chuckling realising that he didnt really think this through. “Ok ill go now, i still need to recharge.” Ren said while starting to leave “alright, see ya!” Clyde said while waving to ren goodbye.

The next day ren went back to the building looking around as usual, until someone familiar came beside him, “oh hey! You came back! I honestly never expected this since what i did to you yesterday!” Ren said while laughing lightly, remembering his stupidity the previous day. Suddenly the moth started approaching ren slowly, “hm?” Ren said while noticing the moth approaching, “I thought you hated me.” Ren says while confused by the moth’s behaviour. Then the moth flew and sat on ren’s head, “huh, you seem to be a very forgiving lil guy!” Ren said happily, still confused by the moth’s behaviour. The moth stayed up their, seemingly forgiving the silly bot, though ren didnt notice since he couldnt feel the moth up their.

After a while when ren decided to go do something else, he noticed the moth, surprised by the fact that the moth was up their the whole time, he didnt really say anything, only making a “:O” face. Before he could say anything, the moth started to leave, maybe going home, “oh! Uhh bye mr bug! Or ms i couldnt really tell. Was nice hanging out with you!” Ren said while waving to the moth goodbye.

Ren was happy for the rest of the day, perhaps he made a new friend! Later when he went home he told kit and Clyde about how he became friends with the cool bug he saw the other day, kit seemed happy about the story, clyde was surprised by the bug’s behavior but he didnt think much of it.

most popular one-shot: by my side - Three days after Jessica fires Mike, Harvey invites Mike to be his plus one for a fundraiser. it has over 2k more kudos than my next popular fic. I still have no idea why this one took off the way it did coz I remember posting it thinking that it was okay but not one of my best. goes to show you we authors know nothing lol.

most popular multi-chapter fic: whatever the question - my fake dating/marriage of convenience fic which was vaguely inspired by the proposal and dan in real life. I wrote this as a one shot but since it was my longest fic (at that point, I’ve since written one that was slightly longer) I posted it three chapters for ease of reading.

favorite story you’ve written so far: that’s a hard question because I have a few that are particularly close to my heart, but I will say futures that all might start someday. it was so hard to write in terms of trying to get so many americanisms correct (thank you alli for your help!) but I loved the story and my oc’s so much.

fic you were nervous to post: oh god literally all of them, to varying degrees.

how you choose your titles: ideally I like to pull something directly from the fic, whether it’s a piece of dialogue or line of prose. but more often than not it ends up being a relevant song lyric or famous quote.

do you outline: for my longer more detailed fics I absolutely did. it was basically just dot points of plot points, thoughts, perfect pieces of dialogue I came up with way in advance.

complete: all the fics I ever post are complete coz I don’t do WIPs. I have 62 on ao3 (one of those is a collection of tumblr mini fics so it says incomplete but it’s not really) plus a whole bunch more on LJ/fanfiction.net/other defunct sites that are probably lost to the ether.

in progress: none because the gods hate me and I haven’t written anything in forever.

Interview with an OC -Nora Hart

(I was tagged by the lovely @lothrilzul and very likely other people but my inbox is messed up and I lost track T^T But thank you very much for thinking of me! ♥ )

Important to note; this is Nora from an upcoming collab-fic and she’s not the sole survivor in this verse! (Honestly this is my favourite universe and story for her so there’s a lot different from her typical canon!)

1. What is your name?

“Nora Hart, at your service! Lucky to my friends!”

2. Do you know why are you named that?

“My actual name, not a clue. My nickname though? I once won several jackpots in New Vegas, survived a lot of things I shouldn’t and have yet to lose a game of cards. Scout tried to rig a game once and somehow his card ended up in my hand and I won again. It’s like magic! But that’s why they call me Lady Luck!”

3. Are you single or taken?

“Taken and part of a happy family -- I would introduce you to our daughbear, but Sarge is doing his side of the parenting right now.”

4. Have any abilities or powers?

“Well, there’s my luck, obviously. Kammie says I have gift for making dangerous friends but uh… we don’t talk about Richard. Oh! Also there’s my ability to get out of the boring jobs! Can’t be a member of Houdini Squad if you can’t break in or out of places, right?”

5. Stop being a Mary Sue.

“...I’m Nora Hart? I thought we weren’t drinking in this interview… do you need a lie down?”

6. What’s your eye color?

“Blue!”

7. How about your hair color?

“Black -- maybe dark brown? It gets a little warmer in colour when I’ve been in the sunlight too long. I did not appreciate that Nuka-World sunshine by the way, no sir.”

8. Have any family members?

“Houdini Squad are my family -- and Kaelyn and Nate! If I had to narrow it down further, Sarge is my partner, Hayley is our daughbear, Kammie’s my brother. Sure, we’re not blood but our bond’s stronger than that and his Ma and cousin adopted me when I was in the Mojave, so!”

9. Oh? How about pets?

“Let’s see there’s the radstags, Sarge’s babies Maisie and Booker, Blanche the radgull who lives on our porch, Luna and Celeste the cats… You’re waiting for me to mention Hayley, aren’t you? Well, let me tell you that little bear is our daughter, not our pet. She’s also a member of Houdini Squad so… check your bag before you leave.”

10. That’s cool, I guess. Now tell me something you don’t like?

“Needles, I… and I don’t like the dark overmuch, or ferals. Or raiders. I really, really hate raiders… ugh can we just… next question!”

11. Do you have any activities/hobbies that you like to do?

“Good switch! So I like to hang out with squad, play hide-and-pray when we’re skipping duty and Sarge comes looking -- that’s gotten harder, by the way. Think he’s finally realised how to use that voice and those eyes and… and I also like raising animals! Training the radstags! Trying to teach Hayley to be better behaved, but let’s be real. Those big brown eyes and little round earses and pawsies! How can you call her a bad bear! She’s the best bear! Queen of the bears!”

12. Have you ever hurt anyone in any way before?

“... I’ve hurt more people in more ways than I can count. And I don’t wanna talk about it.”

13. Ever… killed anyone before?

“Yeah. It was always in self-defence though, and you don’t survive a place like Nuka-World without getting blood on your hands...”

14. What kind of animal are you?

“A magpie. I’m gonna be straight with you. I see a shiny? I like the shiny, I take the shiny. But I do it fairly through buying or gambling!”

15. Name your worst habits?

"Oh boy this might take a while… so I clearly have a gambling problem. I mean, it’s not a problem coz I never lose but I know I do too much of it. I tend to want to adopt every animal we encounter, I guess I can be kinda judgemental, yet ironically I definitely befriended one of the absolute worst people on the planet...”

16. Do you look up to anyone at all?

“Sarge is one helluva leader and keeps us all together and I adore him. Kammie’s always had my back and has great intentions -- and Kaelyn. I’d be dead several times over and worse without her. She had to make some ugly but necessary calls and she always did it for everyone else, never herself. I don’t know if I could be so selfless, but I admire her greatly.”

17. Are you gay, straight or bisexual?

“I’ve only ever been with Sarge, but I can appreciate everyone!”

18. Do you go to school?

“Never went -- feels like I’m there when Sarge makes us stand in the naughty corner to think about what we did and write him an essay though.”

19. Ever want to marry and have kids one day?

“I’d love to get married and have kids, yeah, but… I don’t know if I can have kids of my own, and I don’t know if Sarge is ready to get married yet. But that’s okay! We have our daughbear and she’s beautiful!”

20. Do you have any fangirls/fanboys?

“Well, not to brag but I did gain a small following in New Vegas who wanted to bask in my winnings! Kinda felt embarrassing though. Houdini Squad are all the cheerleaders I need!”

21. What are you most afraid of?

“Being abandoned and left alone.”

22. What do you usually wear?

“My hat, a duster, some riding gear and body armour with a few hidden weapons… yeah, I never grew out of the habit after Nuka World…”

23. What’s one food that tempts you?

“Snack Cakes! They’re just great, y’know? Sweet little pieces of heaven you can eat!“

24. Am I annoying to you?

"Nah. You’re nosy but I like you! You bought me lunch for this interview!”

25. Well, it’s still not over!

“Good! I don’t think the others are done setting up your ‘surprise’ yet.”

26. What class are you (low/middle/high)?

“Honestly thanks to the winnings in New Vegas, I’m probably high class. Definitely new money though, I mean the looks those Upperstanders give me when I prove I can buy their houses, sheesh!”

27. How many friends do you have?

“Too many to count! I have eight I can fall back on without question though, and they’re the ones that matter most to me.”

28. What are your thoughts on pie?

“Pie is second only to snack cakes -- Dandy Apple pies mm-mmm!”

29. Favorite drink?

“Sunset Sarsparilla! I mean, I love how Nuka-Cola flavours glow and all, not so much how they make your teeth and tongue glow too...“

30. What’s your favorite place?

"Ever been to Sunshine? Me, Kammie and Sarge own it. We’ve turned it into a beautiful ranch and its just an amazing place to live. Safe, beautiful and surrounded by my animals and family. Who could want more than that?”

31. Are you interested in anyone?

“Already told you I’m with Sarge, and I’m exclusive when it comes to relationships.”

32. That was a stupid question…

“Well, I mean, you called me Mary Sue earlier so its not the worst thing you’ve said so far...”

33. Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean?

“Oh god how about neither? You ever seen a queen or king lurk before? How about a gatorclaw?“

34. What’s your type?

“Kind, compassionate, brave, intelligent, believes in the greater good and fights for those they care about… I don’t know, just go see Sarge! I never met anyone else like him, but he’s my type!”

35. Any fetishes?

“Yeah, okay. This is the most stupid question! That stuff’s private you kinky radrat!”

36. Camping or outdoors?

“Camping is more secure and you can get plenty of outdoors while camping, so why not both?”

Meet the Writer III, IV, V, and VI

Thanks so much for the tags @whataremetaphor, @allisonaldridge, @killer-badass, and @swaynewrites!

Rules: Answer the 10 questions, write 10 questions, then tag 10 people. ** From @whataremetaphor: 1.) Who are some of your favorite authors? JK Rowling, Perry Moore, Audrey Niffenegger, Alex Sanchez, Julie Anne Peters, Nancy Garden, John Green… 2.) Pen and paper or typing? Honestly typing. My handwriting is illegible and I type really fast. 3.) What’s your character development process? I mostly have an idea for a character already in mind and I let them loose into the story. They usually figure themselves out on the way, but if I feel they need a little boost or more details to make them seem more rounded, I’ll fill out little character development questionnaires or free-write about them for a while. 4.) Favorite words? English: silly, serendipitous, onomatopoeia, plethora…(mostly coz they feel nice in the mouth to say. There’s probably way more). German: gumpendorfer, ausgezeichnet, Eichhörnchen, frühstücken 5.) Do you have a “type” for characters (either ones you write or ones you like? If so, what is it? Hmm… I guess I tend to write characters that are slowly figuring out who they are and how the world works. So characters who are coming-of-age. 6.) Music or no music while writing? If so, what kinds? Sometimes, sometimes not. If I do listen, it’s whatever YouTube spits out at me. 7.) What first got you into writing? Kindergarten. My teacher said my story of the day was good enough to “publish.” We wrapped a piece of colored construction paper around it, stapled the sides and I made a cover for it. I was ecstatic XD For those interested, my story way: “Today I walked up the driveway to the mailbox and got the mail.” A literary genius at five years old hahahaha. 8.) Vampires of werewolves? (or magical creature of your choice?) Vampires 9.) Where did you get the inspiration for your current WIP? Augh, don’t hate me. I originally started my WIP as a gay Twilight Fanfiction… 10.) Most difficult part of writing? Keeping up motivation and self-confidence.

** From @allisonaldridge: 1.) What is your favorite writing snack? I don’t eat a lot when I’m writing. If I do, it’s junk food. Pringles (sour cream and onion) Oreos or other cookies. 2.) Would you want to visit the place or world you created for your WIP? The world is basically ours with a little fantasy twist. So yeah, totally. 3.) If you were stuck in a room with one of your OCs, who would you choose? Hmm..tricky…Probably Teresa because we have the most in common. 4.) What movie would you relate closest to your WIP? Twilight, Love Simon. 5.) Do you watch any Authortubers on Youtube? I watch a bit of John Green, does that count? I gotta check out more of these Authortuber people apparently.. 6.) Traditional publishing or independent? Hopefully traditional. I might publish some things independently though. 7.) What is your main OC’s fashion sense? Basic hahaha. Jeans and a shirt. 8.) Where do you keep all your story ideas stored? In my head or on a file on the computer. 9.) Are you working on more than one WIP right now? Not currently. I want to get the first draft of this one finally finished (been working on it for years) before I write anything new. 10.) Coffee or Tea? It is very important. I have to say both, I love them both. ** From @killer-badass: 1.) What is the cutest couple in your current WIP? The only couple in my WIP: Daniel/Vaughn. This WIP has been dubbed my Daniel/Vaughn story since 2007 :P They are beautiful. 2.) Would you rather have your WIP made into a movie or a TV show? Hmm…probably a movie at this point. 3.) Who would you want to direct said movie or TV show? God, I dunno…I would like it to feel like Love, Simon so maybe Greg Berlanti? And also Chris Columbus or David Yates for the fantasy parts. 4.) What TV show character would your protagonist of your current WIP be? These questions are hard for me, I don’t know why! Maybe…Marco from Degrassi. 5.) What is your favorite song to write to? Don’t really have one…I usually put on something like “Castle on a Hill” first and just let the YouTube algorithm do its thing. 6.) What is your protagonist’s theme song? Oh jeez, I haven’t thought about any of this. Perhaps “Brave” by Sara Bareilles.

7.) What marvel character is our protagonist like the most? Spiderman 8.) Your favorite movie? The Princess Bride 9.) Your favorite TV Show? So many. Right now, Brooklyn 99. 10.) What genre is your current WIP? Realistic fiction mixed with fantasy. ** From @swaynewrites: 1.) What is your favorite book, and your favorite author? Harry Potter, JK Rowling. This series has affected me so much, how can I not still answer this question like this? 2.) What’s the longest time you’ve spent working on a WIP? hahahaha, current WIP I’ve been working on since 2007. 3.) What’s your favorite character that you have ever created? Hmm I actually have a lot of feels about Ariel from my short story “My Life with Ariel.” Strange I didn’t choose someone from my main WIP, but there you go. 4.) Have you ever based a character on someone you know? (family, friend, coworker, etc.) I always take bits and pieces of personality from people I know and add them to my characters. 5.) What is your favorite WIP you’ve written? Completed WIP that would be “My Life with Ariel.” We’ll see if I make it into a novel or try to publish as is. 6.) What’s the best response you’ve had to one of your WIPs? One person told me they literally stopped breathing during one scene they were so enraptured by what was going on. This compliment felt so good, because it’s always what I’m going for! 7.) What’s the best film/television show you’ve seen based on a book? The first two Harry Potter movies. Hmm.. Though some things were changed from Love, Simon I felt the atmosphere of the book was captured so well. 8.) Have you ever written something as a joint project with a friend or a fellow writeblr? If you haven’t, would you want to? I don’t think so…but I would absolutely love to! HIT ME UP PEOPLE, LET’S DO THIS! 9.) If you could change something about a popular book series, what series would you change and what would the change be? Twilight. I would eliminate all the abuse in her relationships with Edward and Jacob. 10.) For the Harry Potter fans out there, what is your favorite character/spell/scene? (If you haven’t read or seen Harry Potter, I’d recommend it. LUNAWRITES NOTE: I don’t just recommend it, I demand it hahahaha) Favorite character(s): Draco, Luna Favorite spell: Accio, Not a spell but also Apparition Scene: The chapter in book 6 where Harry confronts Draco in the bathroom and then later has his first kiss with Ginny in the common room. ** My questions for YOU: 1.)
