2011 was the first year of Comikaze Expo which will later changed names a few times to finally Los Angeles Comic Con in 2018. Here’s a gallery of photos I took.

The first Comikaze Expo was held on November 5–6, 2011 in the Kentia Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center. Kentia Hall is where Anime Expo’s Artist Alley. I don’t believe I used any of these images in the book series.

I am such a big fan of Stan Lee's work. First time meeting him i met him at Comikaze Expo at the LA Convention center with my ex girlfriend. I didn't care how much the meet & greet was, i just had to meet him in person. Walked up to him and i was immediately star struck in ahhhh haha....Mr Marvel Comics himself just standing 2 feet away from me. Nothing was coming out of my mouth cause i was so starstruck. Finally i went up to him and shook his hand and told him how big of a Marvel fan i was and thanking him for bringing Marvel to the world. He smiled, looked at me and said "Thank You, i like your shirt" and we took the photo. Shook his hand one more time and walked away with a smile. Such a sad day in the comic book world! Heart broken to hear of his passing ghis morning.
