As a follow-up to the post in which I claimed Claude, Felix, and Annette loved HHW, here is my tier list of the Garreg Mach Student's (apart from Flayn and the Ashen Wolves, for I have no idea where to put any of them) favorite Bandori bands, with my reasoning beneath the cut.

Poppin' Party:

Mercedes: 100% a Saaya kin!

Ingrid: Give her a song about food (chocolate cornets), and she is INSTANTLY sold!

Raphael: Same reason as Mercedes.

Ignatz: Has the same taste as Raphael, due to being his childhood friend (admittedly, I had no clue where to place him).

Afterglow: Dimitri: Same attachment to childhood friends as Ran, and as a good contrast against Roselia-loving Edelgard.

Caspar: Loves the high-energy rock music, and has a whole workout playlist consisting solely of Afterglow songs and covers. Probably likes Tomoe (loud himbo energy) or Tsugumi (similar hard-working and determined natures).

Sylvain: Similar reasoning to Dimitri, and would likely kin Moca.

Leonie: Same reasoning as Caspar. Is sick and tired of Claude constantly comparing her to Hagumi

Dorothea: She finds their band story to be much like her experiences as a member of the Mittelfrank opera. Is probably a Chisato kin.

Petra: Definitely relates to Eve, as the hardworking foreigner of the group.

Ashe: The outfits remind him of the knights in his books, and he was told that he looked kind of like the lead singer.

Lorenz: Loves the fact that all of them (apart from Mashiro) are "royals", and kins them solely because of that.

Ferdinand: His rivalry with Edelgard just gives off CHU2/Yukina vibes.

Lysithea: Likes the mature-sounding techno music, but is just taken aback by CHU2's personality (hypocritical much?)

i think ctommy would like bandori and ctubbo would be a pjsekai guy. cranboo is the weird one who plays both somehow. hes stuck in the hard difficulty tho, yk like a loser.

ranboo really doesnt like cheerful show/team live festival events. why? each time if he doesnt pick the right team (the right team being the team tubbo and tommy would choose) he will get relentlessly bullied by both of them. and he doesnt even know what to pick. they will never give him a hint. yk the cheerful show from the "in this singing city" event? he choose goldfish. tubbo had chosen guppy. next day he got burnt pancakes for breakfast. tommy berated him for the whole duration of the "when the bakery lights dim" event because ranboo picked the calligraphy team, when cleary, the art team was far superior!

tommys fav is tomoe. he laughs at that koma of himari saying that she would never let tomoe go if she was a guy. lesbians amirite. mf had to rob ranboo to get stars because he wanted the whole ghosts' trick night set. he also kind of kins chu2 but you would never hear that from him. his fav band is afterglow, but he also secretly likes harohapi and popipa.

tubbos fav unit is wxs & leonii. i wonder why. he also spends money when he cant get all their limited cards. definitely screamed when he saw the tenmas & emu colorfes cards, and is currently saving up for when they come to global. his absolutely favs gotta be saki and tsukasa. he also really likes akito. because erm. tommy. maybe.

ranboos favs are leonii, maigo, pasupare, morfonica mmj and niigo. cried to suresure and all. hes a very hardcore honami fan, then he really likes kanade, minori and shizuku. admires mizuki lots too!! they like to put minomizu in the same team just so he can hear their interactions while playing. they sometimes forget abt gachas, so theyre quite well when it comes to saving crystals/stars, all obtained through gameplay. their bandori favs gotta be tomori, mashiro, tsukushi, nanami & maya. has bought a bandori acc from someone before... not very proud of that but its not like they went broke afterwards

oooo, this question is so fun + i think abt this a lot bc i find it kinda interesting ! some i can think of off the top of my head, for who i thought i'd kin, would probs be finn (adventure time), daisy (great gatsby), rachel (angels of death), pareo (bandori, in ras specifically bc i have more bandori kins), and leo (enstars), all for varying reasons but overall bc i thought they "fit the vibe" in their own ways.

but i actually ended up kinning princess bubblegum, gatsby, zack, chu2, and ritsu (and aira, but comparing to ritsu bc knights)! zack and gatsby were the ones that caught me the most off guard def just bc i was not expecting that at all. the other 3-4, i started understanding why gradually, like w ritsu, i probs never considered him bc he just never stood out to me as much as other characters, but the more i got to know him better, the stronger that oh feeling got - 🦋
