Margot Robbie and cast launch Birds of Prey roller disco in London
Tumblr media
28th January 2020
Margot Robbie, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Jurnee Smollett-Bell attend the Harley Quinn pop-up roller disco to celebrate upcoming film Birds of Prey (and The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).
youtube
The pop-up is open to the public Tuesday 28th – Thursday 30th January at the Steel Yard nightclub near Cannon Street. The fantabulous free immersive event has opened its doors to the public ahead of the release of the film in UK cinemas on 7th February.
Tumblr media
The club has been transformed into the colour-pop world of DC’s girl gang of antiheroes. The centrepiece of the event is a Roller Disco - a feast of neon and day-glo, where guests can skate to a soundtrack inspired by the film.
Tumblr media
There’s plenty of selfie opportunities and gif cameras. Test your strength with a hi-striker or chill out with Birds of Prey themed cocktails.
Tumblr media
The Queen of Mayhem - Jagermeister, Koko Kanu rum, raspberry puree, coconut cream, lime and pineapple juice
Tumblr media
The Harley Quinn - gin, orange liqueur, prosecco
The launch night had a Papa John’s pizza station (I am in love with the Sheese vegan cheese), a pic ‘n’ mix sweet stand and a candy floss machine.
Tumblr media
Downstairs, Urban Decay were creating Harley Quinn inspired makeovers for guests, readying them for the selfie boards.
Tumblr media
On the other side of the room, custom-printed Birds of Prey totes were being made.
Tumblr media
Celebrities such as Love Island-ers Michael Griffiths and Jordan Hames enjoyed the night’s entertainment.
Tickets are available at https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/harley-quinns-roller-disco-tickets-89019703329

ABOUT THE FILM
You ever hear the one about the cop, the songbird, the psycho and the mafia princess?  “Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)” is a twisted tale told by Harley herself, as only Harley can tell it.  When Gotham’s most nefariously narcissistic villain, Roman Sionis, and his zealous right-hand, Zsasz, put a target on a young girl named Cass, the city is turned upside down looking for her.  Harley, Huntress, Black Canary and Renee Montoya’s paths collide, and the unlikely foursome have no choice but to team up to take Roman down.
In the Warner Bros. Pictures film, Margot Robbie (“I, Tonya”) returns as Harley Quinn, alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead (“10 Cloverfield Lane,” TV’s “Fargo”) as Huntress; Jurnee Smollett-Bell (HBO’s “True Blood”) as Black Canary; Rosie Perez (“Fearless,” “Pitch Perfect 2”) as Renee Montoya; Chris Messina (“Argo,” TV’s “Sharp Objects”) as Victor Zsasz; and Ewan McGregor (upcoming “Doctor Sleep,” the “Trainspotting” films) as Roman Sionis.  Newcomer Ella Jay Basco also stars as Cassandra “Cass” Cain in her feature film debut.
Directed by Cathy Yan (“Dead Pigs”) from a script by Christina Hodson (“Bumblebee”), the film is based on characters from DC.  Robbie also produced, alongside Bryan Unkeless and Sue Kroll.  The film’s executive producers are Walter Hamada, Galen Vaisman, Geoff Johns, Hans Ritter and David Ayer.
Joining Yan behind the scenes was a creative team comprised of director of photography Matthew Libatique (“A Star Is Born,” “Venom”); production designer K.K. Barrett (“Her”); editor Jay Cassidy (“American Hustle,” “Silver Linings Playbook”) and editor Evan Schiff (“John Wick Chapters 2 & 3”); and costume designer Erin Benach (“A Star Is Born”).  The music is by Daniel Pemberton (“Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse”).
Warner Bros. Pictures Presents a LuckyChap Entertainment Production, a Clubhouse Pictures Production, a Kroll & Co. Entertainment Production, “Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn).”  Opening in theatres and IMAX, the film will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Running into you (Zach)
You woke up and got ready for the day. You were running late and was rushing to get to school on time. You managed to make it to the building and accidentally run into someone. You had drop a book from your hand and the person had dropped his too.
The both of you drop down to get your stuff, you both look up to meet each others eyes, he hands you your book and grabs his before helping you up along with him. "I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going" he apologize once you were on your feet.
"No worries I wasn't looking where I was either" you answer. Both of you still in awe of one another.
"I'm Zach" He smiled.
"I'm Y/N" You answer smiling back. You both were smiling lost in each others eyes to the point where you forgot to talk. Then 4 guys went up to Zach and dragged him to class taking you both out of your trance.
"Come on Zach, you can talk to your girlfriend later" a boy with curly hair joked. Zach turned back one last time before you and him were lost in the crowd. The bell rang and you went to class. Luckily you weren't late so you didn't get a glare from the math teacher like last time.
___
The bell had just rang to excuse you to go to lunch. Everyone got up, grabbed their stuff, and left to go eat lunch. You walked in the Cafeteria sitting by all your friends, you sat next to your best friend Christina, "hey Y/N!" She greeted.
"Hey Christy!" You smiled saying her nickname you gave her. "what's up?" you ask.
"Well, I have some news..." She trailed off happily. You waited anxiously for her to continue. "I got a boyfriend!" She squealed.
"OMG! Who is it?" You ask equaling excited.
"His name is Corbyn, and he's a really good singer..." She answered. "oh he's coming over" you gave a quick glance to see Zach and the 4 boys who dragged him away, walking towards your table.
"Hey babe" a guy, must be Corbyn kissed her cheek. He sat next to Christina, Zach sat across from me with the three others sitting next to Zach.
"Hey!" Christina smiled. "Y/N this is Corbyn" She pointed towards him, "Jack, Jonah, Daniel, and Zach" She introduced pointing to each of them. She turned to them. "guys this is Y/N"
"Oh hey isn't that the girl you were talking to in the halls" Jack asked then turned to you. "Zachary over here was talking about you none stop!" Jack exaggerated while patting Zach on the back. You could see a light shade of pink on his cheeks.
"Thanks? I guess..." You state sounding more like a question.
"I'm sorry about him, he is being, well....him" Jonah says.
"We're actually also here to invite you guys to a party we're throwing" Corbyn says cutting into the conversation.
"Ok, I'd love to come" Christina states. Then they turned to me.
"What about you Y/N?" Zach aksed looking at me.
"umm sure" You reply smiling in the end.
"Great!" Daniel states.
The bell rang and you all got up and went your own ways to class after saying your quick byes. "Y/N wait up!" You turned to see Zach run up to catch up to you.
"Hey Zach" You greet.
"Want me to walk you to class?" He asked.
"Sure" you smiled then continue walking and talking with him till you arrive at photography class. "well this is my stop" you state sad the talk was over for now. "thanks for walking me" You were greatful he was walked you.
"No problem, I'll see you later" He turned but not before looking at you.
"Ok, see you then" You say before walking in class. You heard him whisper something but wasn't sure what he said.
____
It's been a few days since you met Zach and you guys are now very close. You guys were now best friends. You and Christina has been hanging out with the boys a lot now and was now getting ready for a party they were throwing.
You decided to wear a white crop top and high waisted ripped jean shorts. You put your hair into a high half up half down hairstyle and put some lip balm on. Christina was wearing a black cropped hoodie and jeans.
"Ready?" Christina asked.
"Yep" You say popping the p.
You both headed to the party and went your own ways once you got there. The music was loud and was booming through the house. Christy heading towards Corbyn and you towards the table with drinks. The house was big and compacted. You turned to see Zach eyeing you up and down in the corner of the room. You went up to him and smiled.  "Hey you" You greet.
"Hey Y/N" Zach grins at you. "you look gorgeous" He states as a light shade of pink dusted on your cheeks.
"Thanks"  He looks down and you couldn't help but look at his lips. He lightly licked his lips before looking up to meet your gaze.
"Do you maybe want to talk outside, where it's more quiet?" Zach asked.
"Sure" He gave you a toothy grin.
"Great!" He lightly takes your hand and leads you outside where its much quieter. He stops under the shade of a tall willow tree. He releases you hand and looks at you melting into your eyes. A look of hesitation in his eyes as he stared at yours.
"Listen I" He paused. "I know i've only known you for like a few days but I feel like i've known you for a while and I well...I-I like you Y/N" You were too shocked to say anything, he had a look of disappointment when you didn't respond.
He was about to walk away when you grabbed his hand making him turn back towards you. You took a deep breath before you connected your lips to his. The kiss was a soft and sweet but loving and passionate. He instantly kissed back both of you unaware of the others watching you happily.
You both pulled away staring into each others eyes your foreheads touching. "I like you too" You whispered before pulling him back to another kiss. Then all of a sudden you both hear clapping and cheering.
You both pull apart and turn to see Christina and the guys standing near the doorway and cheering you guys. "Finally you two got together," Corbyn says before turning to Jack. " you owe me my money" Corbyn says to Jack.
"Who knew you had the guts Zach" Jack shakes his head patting Zach's back.
"Now that you guys are together, let's party!" Jonah screamed.
We all cheered and headed inside to go party. We were all dancing and having fun. I turned to see Zach, both us laughing. "Who know this all started by running into you at school"
"Who knew" He agreed giving me a chuckle.
All by Running into you...

'submission’ is the first single released from The Irrepressibles highly anticipated 3rd record. The track discusses how when we fall in love we have to submit to it and how when it ends it destroys us much like the French saying ’la petite mort’ or ‘the little death’. The Irrepressibles combine the two meanings of this French saying and reflect on an intensely visceral desire and deeply felt love between two men. The track features the voice of US-born gay indie alt-country artist Jon Campbell in duet with Jamie Irrepressible. The video is directed by award-winning Cypriot film maker Savvas Stravou ( savvaspictures.com )

Me and SCHLICHT PHOTOART stand for high-quality people photography and retouching work.
I would say that I'm not just a photographer. I don't want to take just pictures. I want to create an emotional story or a moment. A good mood on the set is very important to me. I do everything that the client(model) feel very comfortable during the shooting and attach great importance to it.
In my opinion, a good mood between photographer and model is required to create amazing pictures.
Daniel, what are your passion and aspiration in life? How did you start as Photographer?
I want to have a fulfilled life, with much love, good friends, and a happy and healthy family. I love the beautiful things in the world, nice landscapes, art, and good music.
That is one reason why I started with photography. On holiday in Egypt, I discovered a passion for photography, while I took pictures with an underwater camera. After that, I bought my first professional photo camera and did a lot of wildlife-, nature- and landscape photography. 2011 I started to work as a professional people-photographer and have turned my passion into a profession. It's important for me to work in a job that I love.
Who is your inspiration in life, Daniel? How do you stay inspired as a Photographer?
I think a big inspiration was my (deceased) grandparents. They had not much money, but they lived in love and with passion. In my opinion, this lifestyle is a good one.
Well, if you go through the world with your eyes open, you can get inspiration everywhere. But also the work of very talented photographer inspirate me, e.g., David LaChapelle, Peter Lindbergh, and others. I love Pop-Art (e.g., Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol) and colorful art.
We all make mistakes, Daniel, we wish we could take back. What was the mistake you made in the past that you wish you can take back?
I made mistakes very much, but I think I only can learn from that. That's why I don't know really which mistake I wish I can take back.
Maybe a personal one, years ago I stopped doing sports and became fat. Now it's hard work to get healthy and slim.
Daniel, How do you describe yourself in terms of working with clients?
If I had to describe myself, I would say that I have a very chilled and friendly nature. I do everything that my clients get in a good mood and feel comfortable.
Please tell us, Daniel, how do you prioritize work, social life, friends, and family?
First of all, are my family and friends, especially my girlfriend, Kristina. I do my best to combine my social life with my work. I think a good life depends on beautiful moments, that's the reason I do what I love. The work as a photographer plays a big role in my life because I love it. I think good Work-Life-balance is important.
Daniel, please give us an example of a time when you were able to persuade someone to see things your way at work successfully.
I don't know if I understand the question.
But I try to answer.
My created images are a good way to persuade someone. If that is not enough, Daniel Schlicht and SCHLICHT PHOTOART stand for passion, authenticity, competence. If you are looking for someone with personality and professionalism, I'm your man!
Daniel, please tell us about your proudest professional accomplishment as a Photographer.
Well, I'm very proud of my best picture I've taken, a portraiture of a ginger-woman with many freckles. I love this picture; in my opinion, it's the best picture I have taken.
I'm also proud of every happy person I've worked with, and every publication. It's an honor to give workshops and help people to move on to a higher level.
Daniel, please give us an example of a time you were able to be creative with your work. What was exciting or difficult about it?
Ideas often come at night; I think creativity is difficult to force. It flows and cannot be stopped, so you have to draw it when it's there.
I do many free projects, with amateur, semi-pro or professional models (also new faces) to realize my ideas. I spend my free time to organize this shoots, it's so exciting, and I can draw strength. These shootings mean REAL photography for me. This is more art than a service.
What advice would you give to the people who want to be successful as a Photographer?
On the one hand, you need the skills of good a businessman, and a little bit of an entertainer, because it is a business where you and your skills are in the middle.
On the other hand, it's quite simple ...you must love photography, and must be passionate at it.
