This recipe is adapted from @avocado_skillet on IG! I changed the title a bit because it doesn’t taste like “banana bread” to me, but tastey nonetheless! With topping my mug came out to 300 cal, but I went a little crazy with the chocolate 😅
Banana & Chocolate Oatmeal Mug
Ingredients:
-1/2 banana, mashed
-1/2 cup oat flour (just blend your oats 1-1)
-1/2 tsp baking powder
-Plant milk (I used almond milk), the recipe calls for 1/2 cup but I would use a bit less
Toppings:
Nuts, white or dark choc. squares, chocolate syrup. I used a KitKat and white chocolate, so truly whatever!
Instructions:
-mash banana at bottom of mug
-blend oats and spoon into mug
-add baking powder and plant milk
-microwave for 1 min 30 sec OR bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes
Enjoy!

300ml dairy-free milk, we used oat milk
1 tbsp cider vinegar
300g self-raising flour
200g golden caster sugar
4 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
½ tsp vanilla extract

5 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp dairy-free milk, such as oat milk
>>Get a FREE E-BOOK With Dozens of Recipes<<
To decorate
handful of fresh, seasonal fruits such as cherries, blackberries or figs
Method
STEP 1: Heat oven to 190C/170C fan/gas 5. Grease the base and sides of 2 x 20cm sandwich tins with dairy-free spread, then line the bases with baking parchment.
STEP 2: Put the dairy-free milk in a jug and add the vinegar – it will split but don’t worry. Put all of the other cake ingredients into a large bowl, pour over the milk mixture and beat well until smooth. Divide the mixture between the prepared tins and bake for 25-30 mins or until a skewer inserted into the middle of the cakes comes out cleanly. Leave to cool in the tins for 10mins then turn out onto wire racks to cool completely.
STEP 3: To make the buttercream, put the chocolate into a heatproof bowl and melt in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds. Leave the melted chocolate to cool for 5 minutes. Beat the dairy-free spread and icing sugar together with a wooden spoon then sift in the cocoa powder with a pinch of salt. Pour in the melted chocolate and dairy-free milk and keep mixing until smooth.
STEP 4: Sandwich the two cooled sponges together with half of the buttercream then pile the rest on top and down the sides. Decorate with the fresh fruit.

la petite mousse au chocolat vegan de la canicule
🇺🇸Whip previously refrigerated chickpea juice with an electrical mixer, and add white sugar as you mix, to help it go faster and get glossier. Save in the fridge while you melt your chocolate, and when it cooled off, pour it in a bowl. Then get your chickpea juice and carefully and gently add it to the chocolate, trying not to break the fluff while you blend both. Put in the fridge for a few hours, and it's ready! Usually best the next day, but it's good after a few hours too. If you've got popped bubbles like in mousse, you're good!! 🖤
> no worries if you've got hard chocolate chunks in the mousse when you're done, it'll be like having added literal chocolate chunks, lol

So… it’s not exactly a homemade recipe or anything like that, but this tastes so good! Definitely satisfies my sweet tooth and makes cereal a bit less guilty!
Chocolate Milk Cereal- 150 calories
1/2 cup chocolate milk of choice (I used Hershey’s SF Choc. Syrup with unsweetened Almond milk)
1 cup of cereal of choice (I used Honey Smacks and choc. peanut butter Cheerios)
Pour chocolate milk into cereal, drizzle with chocolate syrup
Top with nuts or fruit!
Enjoy!
I didn’t do this myself, but it is worth experimenting with hot chocolate!

Fay's Chocolate Factory
I love chocolate, I do! The whole family does, actually. When we were in with our British grandparents, we visited Cadbury World in Bournville; when we were holidaying in Guadeloupe, we took a tour of La Maison du Cacao. On most days, I have half a bar of dark chocolate with my after-lunch coffee (a whole bar on weekends!) and Easter and Christmastime come with sheer indulgence! I also love making chocolates, trying combinations, and new flavours with any new batch! Especially, I enjoy making them for loved-ones, choosing their favourite fruit or nut as a filling, encased in white, milk or dark chocolate according to their tastes... Here are a few of my creations of chocolate-y treats at Fay's Chocolate Factory! I think even Willy Wonka would approve of (and possibly envy!)
