Like, Jackson, Cruz, Tim, Danny, Chase, and Ryan?
Oh boy, that's a few characters. Alright, strap in then. Probably also gonna throw in Bubba because he's my favourite non-main next gen <3

(Quick disclaimer for this one, none of these are supposed to reflect on the irl racers that gave their names and voices to them - I'm treating these characters as though they're entirely fictional and not based on/inspired by real people. I make my HCs literally just based on Vibes (and RPs))
Jackson Storm:
6'1 and fit AF. Clearly spends a lot of time in the gym toning his body and muscles. He is male model levels of gorgeous. Physically flawless black man <3
Short black dreadlocks dyed blue at the ends.
Aromantic (female-leaning)bisexual.
Autistic.
Ray knew he was autistic before Jackson even knew himself, and is the reason he even got diagnosed in the first place.
One of his most common complaints is still about the reflections of the sun glinting in his eyes. The loud noise of the track still gets to him occasionally, but he has special earplugs to help him deal with it.
Can usually be seen drinking a can of IGNTR's flagship energy drink before a race. It helps him calm down and focus in. His sponsors love it, for obvious reasons.
Any time he's on camera, he acts calm and cool but internally he's freaking out. If they ask something he doesn't expect, he visibly tenses up and flounders for a second as he tries to figure out what to say, even if it was a simple question.
Doesn't do fan meets or signings unless he absolutely has to. Even then he tries everything he can to get out of them.
His physical attractiveness makes his already poor attitude even worse. Doesn't know how to talk to people, but gets all the praise and attention he could ever want online.
Yes, he posts photos of himself on various social media. He wasn't sure at first, but Ray convinced him to start shortly after his debut race, hoping that it would help reassure him and give him a bit of a confidence boost. Naturally, it went a little TOO well...
He's a gamer through and through. In any downtime he gets, he's still topping the leaderboards on just about every popular racing game you can play online. He also enjoys the occasional game of CoD and will verbally rip anyone to shreds if they try to come at him.
DUBSTEP. He loves it. If his skull isn't rattling from absolutely filthy, grimy bass, he's not interested.
So, of course, he has to have an incredible sound system that's probably worth more than the average person's car.
He doesn't watch anime. (Stop asking him if he does) Most of his entertainment comes from Twitch streams.
He streams himself playing Super Corsa 4 any chance he gets. Which isn't often with the packed NASCAR schedule, but he tries his best. His user is UrStormChasing
Still doesn't get along with Tim after their rivalry in training and isn't very good at pretending he does either. Their crew chiefs have to make deliberate efforts to stop them from running into each other before they get into their cars.
Cruz Ramirez:
5'5 with an athletic build. She is a Latina woman with visible abs and she deserves them gdi.
Side-parted brown hair a little shorter than jaw length, perpetually kinda wild looking.
Chaotic lesbian hours!
ADHD
Literally cannot sleep at night without a big, milky mug of coffee.
It's not normal to wake up and go for a run before even having breakfast?
She's teaching Lightning to use social media more regularly (for better or for worse). His homework is to send her a funny meme or video that he found that week.
The result of this can sometimes be catastrophic. She'll never be able to unhear him uncertainly attempting to use outdated slang.
Almost every race, there's someone complaining about how she doesn't weigh enough and it's unfair to the rest of them. So she forces them to watch as race officials put extra weights in her car.
Has cussed Danny out in Spanish across Pit Road and will do it again if he carries on-
Is probably the only person on Team Dinoco that is actually nice to Cal and doesn't try to tease him. They get along well.
Tim Treadless:
6'0 with a broad frame and light muscle tone.
Tanned skin and tousled brown hair.
Straight ally.
Just call him Mr. Charismatic, everyone loves him.
Everyone except Jackson, that is. Jackson is the only person who brings out his anger to the point of wanting to throw hands.
Has a wife and a baby, bc of course he does.
One of those guys some people hate for being irritatingly perfect. Usually people that don't actually know him.
Has type 1 diabetes and a bad nut allergy.
Was pulled out of a race at the last minute when he went into anaphylactic shock - the entire race was almost stopped when people started to whisper that it was foul play. The race went on, but the only reason for Treadless' absence was that he had to be pulled for "unforseen medical issues".
Some of the other racers still blame Jackson, who actually had nothing to do with it.
Danny Swervez:
5'10 and fairly slender. Not a lot of bulk to him.
Tanned skin (he's Latino) and short black hair.
Cishet male.
This man is FULL of himself. What an attitude.
Genuinely a good racer, but not many people like him.
He's not a good guy. He's given Cruz some trouble for being a woman, though after she embarrassed him by publicly cussing him out in Spanish, he's learned to keep his unpopular opinions on her to himself.
Isn't exactly what we would call "faithful".
But hey, at least he doesn't cheat on the track (smh)
Has just as little respect for the older racers as Jackson, but is less vocal about it.
Is very bitter about Jackson and Tim being more popular than him, yet still does nothing to change himself for the better.
Has at least attempted to physically fight with other drivers that messed with him on the track several times.
Chase Racelott:
5'9 with a build somewhere between Danny and Tim.
Pale skin and dirty-blonde hair.
Straight ally.
Generally a pretty likeable guy. Not as well-loved as Tim, but he has a good amount of pretty dedicated fans.
Makes jokes about being single/available.
Has pretty average performance on the track, not great, but not poor.
Fairly high energy, he gets along well with Cruz.
Probably one of the best with kids. Has a lot of younger fans because of how he interacts with them during meets and signings.
One of the few who will try not to leave until he's spoken to every fan who wanted to meet him, no matter how long it takes.
Often seen hanging around with Ryan - the two of them cause some pretty good natured trouble together, often involving pranks on the other racers.
Ryan "Inside" Laney:
5'11 with a broad build similar to Tim.
Mixed race (¾ Caucasian, ¼ African American), with short black hair.
Closeted bisexual.
Friendly, but not really a standout character as far as the fans are concerned.
Kind of cocky, but in a cool way.
Has a girlfriend who travels with him.
Agent of chaos when he spends too much time with Chase. Don't turn your back on him.
Bubba Wheelhouse
Absolutely massive 6'2 gentle giant
Another gorgeous black man (fight me), his skin tone isn't quite as dark as Jackson's
Closeted homosexual
Has a fake relationship with a lesbian woman who's actually just his best friend (the racing world is scary and the US South probably wouldn't love an openly gay driver)
Kids ADORE him. Him and Chase are the drivers with the most kid fans.
Throws a football around with fans over the catch fence during rain delays (this one is based on the real Bubba Wallace bc its wholesome af)
Gets asked all the weird gay questions by everyone in the friend group. (Ex. "Is it gay if...?" "What is X actually like?")
Legit just trying to mind his own business, he doesn't want any part of drama or rivalries.
Occasionally finds himself roped into girl talk if the guys have their S/Os around. They're very excited to include him. He's too polite to decline.

Can we sit and talk about some of the scenes in cars 3 that i liked?
This proves my past theories that they're pretty friendly with each other- past all of the New Gen's hard exteriors, they are just a bunch of goofballs... hence me giving snippets and shenanigans I think they do! Mainly following-
Cruz Ramirez.
Chase Racelott.
Bubba Wheelhouse.
Ryan Laney.
Daniel Swervez.
Lightning Mcqueen.
Jackson Storm.
Cam Spinner.
Tim Treadless.
And vague mentions of the other New Gens!

Next-Gen shenanigans.
SCENE 1:
With the races finishing off for the night, all the press and security lined up for the interview for Jackson Storm, being hosted by Darrell Cartrip and Bob Cutlass, was set to begin.
With the press' camera shutters flashing and illuminating the small stage that the 3 cars parked upon, you could see Jackson's simple, but practically iconic, smile shining through as he then looked at Darrell, who had begun to talk. "Alrighty then, let's get onto the details about tonight's race - how's it feeling to be in the top lead so far, Storm? I mean, let's be fair here. It ain't much of a surprise, but it's gotta feel good!" He let out a hearty laugh as the crowd followed. Jackson glanced away for a moment, feigning humbleness. "Come on, let's cut these guys some slack. Without those legends, someone's gotta pick up the pace. If it isn't them, then we all already know who it'll be." He chuckled, letting the camera's shine illuminate his livery. But as Bob had gone on to ask another question, no one had a single clue what was happening right behind the stage.
"Guys, are you sure about this?! He'll kill us!" Cruz stated, watching her familiar racers begin to absolutely ruin the interview.
"Cruz, come on, relax! I think this one's deserved for that stunt he pulled earlier." Chase rolled his eyes, looking up at the string that led up to the side of the stage. "Plus, it'll be fun. If he's such a tough guy, this won't do a thing." Danny let out a laugh, holding another string as Ryan held the last one. "Let's be honest- he's had this coming all week." Bubba blinked from the sidelines, wanting to be involved enough to see, but avoid most punishment. "Whatever happens, it's on you guys."
"Oh shut it Bubba."
Lightning was lucky enough to be passing by as they were doing this, quickly rolling up and startling them. "What are you guys doing?"
"...nothing."
Lightning stared at them, unamused. "You guys are ridiculous, I know what you're doing."
Ryan nearly dropped his string in surprise, causing the others to whisper-yell at him. "Don't tell our crew chiefs!"
Lightning stared, before laughing. "What? No! I'll help you guys. This stuff's always fun. 'Scuse me, Cruz."
Cruz blinked and watched. How did they get here? Why are they planning this now? She doesn't want to get in trouble- is Tex gonna be mad? She hopes not. But she did as he said and quickly reversed.
Lightning easily passed by, rolling to the side of the stage, already knowing he was visible and knew what would happen. Darrell quickly saw him and called him up, causing him to grin and roll up the ramp. This did not amuse Jackson but kept it played for the press. "Champ, good to see you." "Storm." They nodded in acknowledgment.
While Lightning went on to sabotage the interview, the others had prepared for the best possible moment.
While Jackson was facing toward the 2 interviewers, Lightning was lucky to get a side glance at the racers, who peaked over and quickly held up a tire, telling him to go.
He quickly moved himself to look at Jackson. "Hey, Storm, your crew chief's callin' you!" He got the racer's attention, quickly reversing down the ramp, letting the #20 begin to turn, and looking to the side of the ramp, wondering why Ray was calling him mid-interview.
He wasn't given enough time to even shout as he saw the bright liveries peeking out from the edge of the stage before he was practically blinded.
All of the racers laughed as he was practically shot at by some sort of light adhesive, causing him to shut his eyes. Right after, he could feel something cover him, and to add on, as soon as he opened his eyes, he heard the pop and the sudden cold cover his hood from what he could only assume was extinguisher agent. What did he hear right after?
The cackling of the racers he knew all too well, and the following of the crowd.
"Hey, Storm! You look good in pink, man!" Bubba laughed as Jackson shook the foam off of him, revealing his newly coated livery, now covered in bright pink glitter.
Lightning offered a wheel bump to Chase, before hearing the furious racer.
"MCQUEEN!"
"Uh oh."
"GO GO GO-"
Danny could hardly yell out past his laughing, and right after drifted around and sped off, causing the other 5 racers to skid off right after them, Cruz hesitating and meeting eyes with the furious Jackson.
"CRUZ, MOVE!"
"Oh- OH- NO NO NO I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!-" She yelled as she quickly reversed and drifted around, racing right up to the rest of them, Jackson right behind them as they all cackled.
Cam and a few of the other racers sitting behind the pits with their cans of oil had been chatting, Rich sitting next to him as Tim sat in front of them with J.D. and Harvey beside him. "Hey, did you guys see where Ryan and the other morons went?" "Nope. Haven't seen them since this afternoon- said they had something to go do."
Tim hummed as he took a quick sip of Nitroade before hearing a faint noise of the squealing of tires and loud laughing and yelling. Stopping, he squinted as he saw a few lightly illuminated liveries. "...Oh no..."
This caused the others to look at him before looking turning to where he was looking. Poor Cam didn't even get a chance before getting his can of oil splattered all over him and seeing a fleeing Cruz try to regain her treading. "I'm so sorry - I'll buy you another!" She panicked, hearing the other racers laugh at him before the rest of her friends passed them. They didn't even get much of a chance before seeing Jackson speed by and seeing his glitter covered livery, and that made them shift their attention and laugh at him and the small peices of foam still flying off of him.
...it was a long night.

Can I please get a small writing prompt of lightning McQueen ( if him and Sally were just friends) is a single bisexual and all the new gen racers try to get him a date lol 😆 or get him to go on a date with them 😉
My favorite part of these next gen asks you send me is that it implies that the next gens actually like Lightning and try to involve him in their shenanigans, and it just makes me really happy okay?!
Not sure if your looking for a fic/ficlet or if you just want some headcanons, so I’m gonna go with headcanons if that’s okay! (I wrote most of this out during my lunch break at work so if it’s not great that’s why)
Here’s how I think the next gens would react to finding out Lightning is bi and single:
Tim: surprised to find out McQueen is single, not surprised at all to know he’s bi. He’s seen the interviews from the WGP and there’s no heterosexual explanation for how him and Francesco interact.
Ryan: tries to set him up on a blind date, but McQueen politely declines the offer; he’s okay being single for now.
Chase and Bubba: are very indifferent to the whole thing. This information changes absolutely nothing about how they perceive Lightning. They have no interest in McQueen’s love life, but are entertained by how much the other racers seem to care.
Danny: Thinks it’s great that McQueen is open about his sexuality and love life. He joins in with the rest in trying to set him up with someone. Starts a betting pool with the other racers to see who’ll get McQueen a date first.
Cruz: immediately half-jokes that McQueen and Jackson should go out on a date (I say half-jokes because she can totally tell they both find each other attractive so she’s really trying to play matchmaker here)
Jackson: acts like he doesn’t give af, but is secretly trying to work up the courage to ask Lightning out. He didn’t even realize Lightning was bi until all the next gens started discussing his love life, and while he won’t admit it to anyone he got a little excited/hopeful that he could have a chance with the racing legend

Something I’ve been thinking about: so we know that Dale Earnhardt Sr exists in the Carsverse because Dale Jr has a cameo in the first film and also Chick references him in a comic.
So since Chase Elliot exists in the Carsverse (as Chase Racelott), does that mean that his dad, Bill Elliot (or in this case Bill Racelott), exists in the Carsverse as well?
Honestly, I would say yes. (Or at least he does in my human AU)
This also begs the question if other relatives of racers who were also racers exist in the Carsverse as well. Like Darrell Waltrip’s brother Michael, Ryan Blaney’s dad Dave Blaney, etc.

Kingdom Hearts IV predictions
Radiator Springs/Dinoco Rust-eze Racing Center/Fireball Beach/Thunder Hollow/Thomasville/Florida International Speedway (Cars)
Takes place after Cars 3.
Is visited by Sora.
It isn’t combat based. Missions include keeping up with McQueen’s top speed by racing down Radiator Springs’ main street, learning how to turn right to go left at Willy’s Butte, driving backwards with Mater, keeping up with Cruz’s top speed on Fireball Beach, avoiding pushy competitors with the Thunder Hollow challengers, and practicing with Cruz at Thomasville, culminating in the Piston Cup race at Florida International Speedway, where the objective is to win against Jackson Storm.
Sora enters the world as a custom-made car mixing a few real-life sports car models before visits to Luigi’s Casa Della Tires and Ramone’s House of Body Art end with him modified into a next-gen race car sponsored by Dinoco (with Tex’s blessing) and with Cruz’s number.
It’s set during Cruz’s first Piston Cup racing season, so McQueen still has Doc’s colors and spends the Florida race as Sora’s crew chief. Also, Ramone wears his “Saludos Amigos” body paint from the epilogue of Cars 3.
As Sora finishes his story, Mater is certainly unhappy with Xehanort’s actions forcing Sora’s hand. “That dad-gum Xehanort”, he says angrily. Extra points if Sora doesn’t get to the part where Xehanort is dead, then Sarge gets in his face and demands him to teach Xehanort a lesson when he gets back in a militaristic manner. “Is that understood,” Sarge yells. Then Sora tries to correct him, but gets cut off and asked again, “Is that understood,” and has to respond, “Sir, yes, sir!”
Of course, during the top speed races, Luigi is the one to signal the race to begin.
In the Radiator Springs race, Sora’s top speed is tracked by Sheriff’s speed radar, and on Fireball Beach, it’s via Cruz’s personal assistant, Hamilton.
If you fail the “Turn Right to go Left” mission, Sora goes flying into the bed of cacti, and Mater fishes him out.
“I don’t like to toot my own horn, but…” (HONKS TWICE) “Toot my own horn. That’s funny right there.” - Sir Tow Mater, beginning his backwards driving lesson, 2017
I know I’ll get hate for this, but Cars 2 elements are here. Heck, maybe Mater can’t be present most for the training because he’s busy with Finn and Holley. After all, does he still owe Holley a first date?
I wanted the player character in this world to be Kairi just so Storm can feel the embarrassment of losing to not one, but two “costume girls”.
The Piston Cup race is announced as a 500-lap race, but no game developer is that malicious to force the player to race 500 laps around an oval, so they’d take after the first Cars game and make it twelve laps with the sun slowly lowering throughout the race.

4. What detail in any fic of your choosing are you most proud of?
In my Tumblr Sexyman fic (Fighting the End), I passively mentioned that the Onceler was trans and no one noticed it. I still laugh to myself about that one, ngl.
Also, the characters Chase Racelott and Jen Tansedan in one of my oneshots (Thinking Out Loud) are pre-existing, background characters in the Cars movies. I didn't actually make them up. Jen was a background character seen in the background of the Cotterpin Bar in Thomasville and Chase is one of the Next Gen racers. Both of them made their debuts in Cars 3! I love using the amount of background characters that exist in these movies to my advantage, lmao.

After Lightning accidentally destroys a simulator, Sterling then tells Lightning in his office that his racing days are ending, and that in order to provide Sterling with revenue, he will be selling legacy merchandise instead. Lightning travels there, only for Rusty and Dusty to tell him that in order to pay for the facility, they sold Rust-eze to a car named Sterling, who introduces him to his trainer, Cruz Ramirez, who is a big fan of him. Lightning calls Rusty and Dusty, the CEOs of Rust-Eze, saying that he wants to train like Jackson Storm, and they inform him that they're opening the new Rust-eze Racing Center. She tells him to try something new, and Lightning decides to start training again. Lightning tells his girlfriend Sally that he doesn't want to be forced into retiring, like Doc, but also that he can't race like before. Lightning has mostly been watching a video of the last race of his late mentor Doc Hudson. Lightning tries to catch up, but pushes himself so hard that he spins out of control, has one of tires blown out, and collides with the wall, launching him into a rollover crash, leaving him seriously injured.įour months later, Lightning is recovering back in Radiator Springs but is afraid he might never be able to race again. On the last lap of the final race of the season, Lightning has the lead, but Storm, Danny Swervez and Chase Racelott catches up and overtakes him. After a few more races, most of the other veterans (including Bobby and Cal) have either retired or dismissed by their sponsors to make way for the Next Gens. One day, a rookie named Jackson Storm, who is part of a new generation of race cars who use the latest technology to run faster than veteran racers, comes from nowhere and beats him. Mater leaves and Lightning soon races with his rivals Bobby Swift and Cal Weathers. Lightning then asks Mater to give him some quiet. Lightning McQueen, now a 7-time Piston Cup champion, is preparing for a big race, when suddenly Mater visits him in his trailer, keeping him company. People start to wonder and ask when he might retire." Plot is not an old man, but he's one of the older cars on the circuit with new rookies coming in. Vitolines also made me laugh bc its basically vitamin water for cars 😭 its so cute- Chase and Brick having to say that in commercials makes me giggle,,
Octain Gain's my favorite- thinking of Danny and Bobby having to say thay makes so much sense to me
