Mild spoilers for the manga up to this point and I'm too lazy to deeply proof read.

Ciel Phantomhive is all I can think about so here's my thoughts

He's 13. He's a 13 year old kid surrounded by death and dispare. It honestly haunts me how young he is. Like I have siblings that age so when people go on about how anyone he is, what would you expect? This a kid that's pretending to be an adult. He lost his family at 10; he kidnapped, violated, and enslaved at 10; he watched his brother die in front of him at 10; and all people can say is that he's annoying. He's traumatized and a teenager. I'm surprised he's still going.

I cannot stop thinking about how lonely he must be. He's right hand is a demon. His servants are all people who have lost something or had nothing. No one there is capable of having normal conversations or social behavior (besides maybe Tanaka). I don't think he could ever just be 13 and it's kinda upsetting.

Everytime I read about someone close to him dying and the way he just moves on? I know he sad but dang does it hit hard. He doesn't know how to grieve and probably no one will ever teach him how.

He's really alone. Everyone tries, but no one is ever allowed close enough. I think he does it out a fear or as a defense mechanism. It's so much harder to feel loss if there's no one close in the first place. Thinking about Agni and Soma and how it ended and how he was like "This is why I told you not to get involved with me". So he knows he's bad news. Then there's the fact he's pretending to be his twin.

So he surrounded by people who love him because they think he's someone else. He also knows he's the "spare." Which fueled his decision.

He also definitely has self depreciating tendencies as show in the manga. When he has his break downs, we get a peak of just how terrible his mental state is. Sebastian doesn't help either so this man is really going in no actual support system.

His life is on a counter. Once the contract he has with Sebastian is fulfilled, that's it. Even if somehow he doesn't die, what would that do for him? Does he even have a will to live outside this? No matter what happens there will be no real happy ending for our Ciel Phantomhive. His story will always be a tragedy.

The hate towards forcebook is so pushed. What have they even done? Everything they do is criticized. Accounts I have never ever seen hate an actor before are rallying behind it even for the tiniest reason that seems almost ridiculous. It's just quite confusing because they seem genuine and like the least problematic people. With the amount of haters they have if they were indeed problematic in the slightest they'd on the jumbotron getting blasted. It's not even like they're bad actors. Just random hate for no reason. Fuck you bones for erasing Akutagawa's smile, and instead showed him angry of all things. It's like they're committed into not showing his character development because even before this scene was Akutagawa telling Atsushi that he only has a limited time left before he dies due to his illness. Now this scene in the manga was very solemn and Akutagawa delivers this news in a very calm manner that conveys he's pretty much accepted his fate and is dedicated into fulfilling his goals before he dies. And Atsushi's expression also looked torn and muted in surpise at this revelation. Now compared to the anime where for some reason it's a side profile shot of Akutagwa looking angry when delivering this devastating news, which gives off a completely different vibe. The differences between the two was so off that I actually saw anime only's think that Akutagawa was lying about his disease when he confesses to Atsushi (in order to get a surprise attack against fukuchi) because of the way it was delivered. Akutagawa looks mad and uncaring as though he isn't talking about making the most out of his short life before he dies and atsushi looks like he doesn't wanna be here, like he doesn't care all that much about whatever aku is on about. They both were behaving like this is season 1 and not season 5, which is a shame since this arc is a culmination of the two's relationship and how much they've grown to not only care about the other but how they've also changed as individuals. So thanks bones for fucking up akutagawa's pivotal moment 🙏 I knew it was gonna be bad when they ended the episode when he first gets slashed across the neck and proceeded to speed run this moment in the next episode to go straight towards vampirism. Love y'all 🫶

I have alot to write, I know....This one question turned into a rant. But basically, TLTR: I don't like seeing MW charaters in the Cod Zombies tag, becuase they feel out of place and they are just a cash grab for Activision.

But I need help guys. A moral delema. Should I block the MW tag with the charaters names in it? On one hand, I dislike seeing MW Zombies in the Cod Zombies tags and I wanna just see Dark Aether charaters as well as Aether charater.

One the other hand, majority of my mutuals (which love you guys lots/p) reposts things from MW and/or make things for MW. I like seeing what my mutuals like cuase it's like they're telling me how happy this charater/media makes them. I'm just frutrated at just seeing Ghost and all in zombies and then people flooding the tags with it because Activision wants money and just slapped them in. Sorry, no original characters to spot but have these really popular characters that we just slapped onto for no reason <3

I'm sorry, but Zombies is about seeing oginial and polished(objective opinion) charaters going through it and trying to survive as they hold onto hope that it will end but the hope is slipping slowly each and everyday as they fight. Not characters that were already made for a different story, with it's on different lore, and different reality of the world.

btw, so we are all on the same page, these are just how I FEEL and there for my opinion. I have to say this cause I don't want to have people beating me into a bloody pulp.

Personality:

Sylvester is a daredevil to the extreme. He enjoys performing dangerous and crazy stunts and is a big prankster.

Befitting his role, Sylvester is used to acting like a monarch, treating people and objects as minions, ordering others around, and acting bigger than he is. He sometimes manages to assume leadership of some form, but loses it due to his negligence and ignorance, but only bossy but in a charming and kind way.

Sylvester is also so confident about their role as prince of hell to the point that whenever going anywhere their entrances and exits are always attention drawing, dramatic, and extremely flashy, showing that Sylvester is a huge deal.

Sylvester has a tremendous love for food. Whenever he is against doing something, the mention of food can change his mind.

Other than that Sylvester is the complete opposite of his little sister, Charlie. While Charlie is happy go lucky ,Sylvester is plagued with having serious anger issues, while Charlie is a lot more forgiving Sylvester holds grudges but for some odd reason can't help but find himself still loving his dad (Lucifer), and unlike Charlie he's not optimistic and unlike Vaggie he isn't pessimistic bit is more so a realist.

Similar to Lucifer Morningstar, Sylvester possesses a grandiose and dramatic nature, acting very over-the-top in most situations. He switches between being silly and theatrical and awkward and melancholic.

But other than the traits they have Similar to their dad and other than being the complete opposite of Charlie, the traits they have of their own is that Sylvester is a huge crybaby, clumsy, dorky, charming ,and friendly with their clumsiness often leading to them getting hurt do to Sylvester being a risk taking dare devil.

Backstory/Background:

According to the "The Story of Hell" book Charlie reads in Hazbin hotel S1 Ep1 "Overture", Lucifer was an idealistic dreamer whose accidental creation of Hell and the subsequent banishment of it caused him to give up his dreams. After he and Lilith separated, Lucifer went into isolation and fell into depression. He coped by crafting and hoarding tons of rubber ducks, spending years in his home. This obsession also causes him to become estranged from his daughter,Charlie and his older son ,Sylvester (my oc).

Trivia(headcanons/ fun facts about them):

and he also has the ability of eating anything and everything whether that be actual fold, trash ,and/or objects without getting hurt or sick (unless it's old, rotton, or raw food)

Casper is the most easy-going and laid-back hazbin resident, jokingly described as the "evil stoner” thanks to how greedy they are as a stoner. They're also lazy and careless, although they can still have their times of being adventurous . They're extremely stupid

Despite being a deranged homicidal maniac just like anyone else in Hell, Casper is the most calmest and laid back amongst the other hotel residents (like Charlie,Vaggie, Alastor, Nifty , Husk, Angeldust, and Razzle) .

Not only does Casper have the usual bravado of the usual chill and laid-back stoner but they also tend to be extremely gluttonous when it comes to food ,they take interest in extremely girly things (like rainbows, unicorns,glitter, and ect.)

But they also say “like” a lot and their vocabulary consists of 90s -80s slang like Bro, bruh, dude, Duddette, As if, booyah, home skillet, whatever ,Crunk, eat my shorts, let's bounce, no duh, buzzkill, and ect.

Casper also tends to have really gross hobbies like burping, licking their eyes with their tongues without flinching (sense they are a gecko), digging in their nose, scratching their ass ,and ect.

Beneath their cool and slacker attitude, Casper is insecure and cowardly, and only puts up a laid-back bravado to hide his true feelings.

They also lack good decision making, becomes easily confused or disoriented , they lack any common sense, they seem to have child like innocence, and ect. as if everything they went through has mentally impaired them to no return!!

Backstory/Background:

A loooooong time ago back in Ireland, Killarney in the 80s their was a young little kid named [Redacted] ‘O neil and they were a small little kid with Mocha brown skin, pecan brown irises ,he had an all round and pudgy body, dark brown hair that's in a shoulder length short wash and go hair style, they wore one of those 90s internet shirts , they wore denim cargo overall capris, and glow in the dark heely shoes that had a 90s pattern on it

,the kid [Redacted] didn't have an amazing childhood and was often emotionally physically mentally and psychologically abused by both of their mom and dad, they were bullied at school,and they were constantly emotionally and physically abused and bullied relentlessly by both of their older siblings Cassandra and Dakota ‘O neil (they're twins).

Well that was until they met a new neighbor that went by the name Finn MCCarthy and he was a small white rich boy that lived in a big rich but strict family and he had blond hair, dark lime green irises, a tooth gap, covered head to toe in freckles, he was also kinda chubby but not as much as Andre ,he wore a velvet sweater covered in yellow moons and stars, he wore a denim overall shorts, and converses.

Slowly and gradually both Finn and [Redacted] slowly but gradually started becoming friends and did almost everything together ,but as time went by they started seeing each other more than friends and sense it was the 90s at the time, that thought terrified them… that made them feel as if one or both of them could get in trouble .

…..So slowly but gradually ,the start to drift a part….

A few years later (now into adult hood)

[Redacted] no longer goes by the name [Redacted] and goes by the name Reggie

And this is what Reggie looks like now

Mocha brown skin, long brunette hair that's in locks with the bottom being dyed orange, pecan brown irise, black hoodie, dark brown bucket hat, black tie dye pants,and glow in the dark heelie shoes

and is now 32 yrs old

While Finn MCCarthy on the other hand is still chubby, he has blond unravelly hair, dark lime green irises, a tooth gap, covered head to toe in freckles, he wears a red orange black green yellow purple and white striped short sleeve button up shirt, dark red ascot , hazel brown dress pants, and black shoes

Reggie was now in an 90s metal band while Finn was now a Millionaire and a dentist because Finn was passionate with the arts of dentistry .

One day wanting to fix their relationship and get back together, Reggie invites Finn over to watch cartoon reruns and to just hang out together and eat pizza, doing all of that in Reggie's van (just them and Finn hanging out )

Finn was hesitant at first but decided “why not” and decided to take up the offer ,things was going great until an hour later Reggie started feeling dizzy and nauseous before passing out

-minutes past-

5 minutes later and Reggie wakes up millions away from home and with everything taken and stolen away from him

….Finn was a two faced snake…

feeling betrayed Reggie had to walk back home by feet in the cold while being in tears ,thoughts and emotions whirled through their brain as they felt something inside of them snap in them

and the next thing they knew was that they found themselves going to Finn's mansion (where Finn is fixing himself up some food in the oven), breaking into his mansion, killing Finn, leaving Finn's stove on and waiting for the police to come as they sit on the porch.

Disassociating ,while covered in blood…they didn't bother to get up and run or to turn off the stove, but they eventually snap out of it when they hear the police arrive that's when they stood up

All they heard was screaming and the police telling them to “Get on the ground!!” and stuff, Reggie tears up as they start giggling their giggling soon turning into full on laughter as they than stares straight at them for doing a explosion motion with their hands as they make an explosion noise with their mouth, tears finally streaming down their cheeks.

Before any of the police has a reaction the stove causes the house to explode, which ended up killing both Reggie and the police surrounding them !!

And that's how Reggie died before they ended up as a demon in Hell, after those following events ,it appears that Reggie's brain has permanently burnt out after all that, leading to how they behave now and sense Reggie is a demon, this is how they now go by the name Casper and they now look like this :

Everything about Lafayette is that they're the complete opposite of Alastor; from loving sweet food (while Alastor doesn't), not being a cannibal (while Alastor Is), having different supernatural abilities, different interests, is straightforward, not taking their role as an overlord seriously (while Alastor does), and ect.

Lafayette is also known for always dating higher ups (no matter the gender) for Status only for it to end up in a few ways

So I watched some of the Twitter takeover. It started to make me think about the and it fascinates me how much shadow tries to be a good person in the Twitter takeover and genuinely is deep down. It’s not because I think he is an evil character he’s an anti hero with methods that go against what the hero would do in a similar situation but he isn’t evil. No it’s the implications that it has for sonic adventure two that fascinates me. Shadow was created as weapon for the government. However Gerald robotnik in also created him to be a protector and a healer. He was given the purpose to protect the earth and help us his biology to help find a cure for Gerald’s granddaughter Maria. Even in the beginning of shadows life there is the fight between the good and bad sides to to him the part that was made to be a weapon for war and the part that was meant to heal Maria and protect the earth. Gerald and Maria were the only family shadow had, so when g.u.n raided the arc and killed Maria all that was taken. Before Maria dies shadow promises to protect the earth and he himself was sealed away in stasis. Gerald went mad at the loss of his granddaughter and the man who wanted to protect the earth now wants nothing but his downfall. He channels that rage into shadow, he rewrites his thoughts and his memories to fill out his plan to wipe out the earth. Shadows very identity was changed and because of that he is breaking his promise to Maria he’s becoming the weapon that g.u.n wanted. But Gerald’s plan failed because of the fact that he made him like Maria, he made him a protector. I think that learning what Gerald did has a great effect on shadow. Gerald was protective and fatherly force in his life, he cared and trusted Gerald, he gave him a purpose that wasn’t the weapon g.u.n wanted from him. I think Gerald turning shadow into a weapon to get his revenge feels like a betrayal to shadow, he hurt people against his own will. Gerald who cared about shadow, in the end took away his free will and treated him like a tool in the end, not like a person. So I think the things that he says he does like volunteering is a way to for him to prove to himself that he is still good, he is still in control over himself. He chooses to honor Maria’s memory because after Gerald’s betrayal to him she’s the only one from his family that he wants to honor. Honoring Maria and doing what he thinks she would have wanted I feel is his way for making up for what Gerald made him do in sonic adventure two. Another thing that interest me is sonics freedom and shadows lacks freedom.

What is a ship you hate that most people like?

Josh and Maya from girl meets world. And now, yes I am a lucaya shipper, but this is totally separate to that.

I don’t think Josh and Maya had good chemistry, it always felt forced and the whole “for the long run” thing never sat right to me because Maya is a character with trust issues and at that point in her development the last thing she needed as a freshmen in high-school, was a promise from a guy entering college. Maya deserves better than that, because she would have waited (or at least for a while) and she deserves to find good relationships out of that.

I personally hate that arch in GMW, I think the whole “Maya has become Riley” is the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen. (Excuse my language but it’s true).

I love GMW and have rewatched it more than I’d like to admit, and that arch was a mistake because of how it handled the love triangle but most importantly how it treated Maya’s character.

Maya from the very beginning is a very confident person when it comes to her friends and who she portrays herself to be because she uses it to hide her insecurities. She learns to open up, to trust herself and to trust others throughout the show. Riley is her rock just like she is Riley’s rock. And yea, Maya starts to use different clothing and stops going off the railings after a good while, but isn’t that the point of her development? Maya uses clothing that literally everyone in her class uses, everyone in her age group, it’s also not extremely weird of her to use it. And yea Maya calms down, and yes starts to ignore her feelings and suppress them, which is bad, but the way the show handled it was horrible.

Yea, the arch with Maya having to think back on who she was to connect to who she is and wants to be is a good arch in concept. I would have loved to see it done better. The mural scene is iconic and fits perfectly with her development. The potencial of this love triangle / identity arch is so big, and it was waisted.

But comparing both girls by braking them into stereotypes only pushed back Maya’s development. Because up until now Maya has been learning to open up (about everything but her crush), but then she is not only being told her feelings aren’t valid, but also that she’s become her best friend and that’s infuriating to me. Because that cuts the growth in her figuring herself out, it creates a wall between both girls and also makes Maya question herself more than she needs to. Because a lot of what she was doing wasn’t odd, maybe a bit out of character and that should (and was addressed), which I think is important, but the method was so bad.

There is room for Maya development in the area they were aiming but telling Maya her feelings are just a replica of Riley’s is so messed up.

I am not convinced she was more into Josh than Lucas. Joshaya never seemed like an endgame it always seemed like a childhood crush, and the fact that they treated it like an endgame made me so sad because Maya deserves better than that.

Maya doesn’t need to end up with Lucas, I’d be fine with that, as long as Joshaya wasn’t end game.

Because Joshaya being end game means that Maya will have to “wait for him” which is messed up in itself. But also she would never address her feelings (or previous feelings if your not a lucaya shipper) for Lucas and instead deny them for the sake of all her friends. It’s a big miscommunication issue bound to explode later in life and it would be angry and destructive by then:

Because Riley should not have said Maya was Riley. Even if it’s true that Maya wanted what Riley had, it’s so out of character for Maya to become her, and in my opinion she didn’t, instead Maya lost her own motives and goals because she was trying to make Riley happy. Maya hid her feelings for years, and then when they came to light she did everything to try to minimize them, and by the point she was accused for being Riley, the lines were to blurred and messed up for both Riley and Maya. Maya always does everything to make Riley happy, and this was just a sad example of that.

Plus, and most importantly I hate so so so much that Lucas had no say in who he liked. Both girls sacrificed their feelings for each other. Then Riley decided Maya’s feelings were a confusion and then Maya decided to back off and “wait for the long run” and Lucas never got a say in the very end.

So I hate Joshaya because it does Maya so dirty and that final arch had so much potencial but instead in my opinion it was an emotional disaster.

Hi, I wanted to know if you could tell me about the differences between canon Jason and canon Jason. When I first got into dc I didn’t have much access to comics, just cartoons and fanfics but now that I’ve gotten my hands on comics I’ve started to move away from fanon. It’s very different. But I haven’t really looked into many of the Gotham comics, there’s so many and I never know where to start and it’s also all very full of drama. But I’d like to know what to expect from Jason since I find him the most interesting (Tim right after) of the family.

Hello anon! First of all, I totally understand how difficult getting into comics is. I actually started off with cartoons as well. If you want recommendations for what to read and links for where to find those comics, I would be more than happy to help. Just let me know! The one recommendation I want to give you right now is DO NOT READ RED HOOD AND THE OUTLAWS 2011. Or any New 52 content really. But RHatO is a horribly misogynistic comic that features quite a few scenes of SA, is written by Scott Lobdell who has been accused of many cases of sexual assault, and is on the whole just a bad comic.

To answer your ask, the best way to discern between fanon and canon is to read the comics yourself and form your own opinions. I’m sorry this wasn’t the answer you’re looking for but it’s the best one I can give. I know it's pretty common in the batfandom to go around asking people for in depth metas instead of reading the comics, but as a predominant Arrowfam stan, we don't do that. We just read the content. I'm not trying to come off as rude, I swear, but honestly the best way to engage with content is to read it and think about it for yourself. You're more than welcome to come to my DMs if you want to have an in depth discussion about Jason's character and how it is different in the comics vs in fanon, but I don't want to write a long meta when I could encourage you to go read and experience Jason's story for yourself. I can also give you recommendations for blogs to follow that don't post about fanon Jason too. I hope you're enjoying your comics!

AITA for asking my RP partners to censor their swearing better? This sounds so dumb because it is. I (17) roleplay on a kids pokemon adoptable site. No swearing is #1 on the rules. I’m fine with this because I really hate swearing myself, even in writing. Most of my rp partners are upper teens because we all have like 0 life and have been on this site for years (2-8) years. I have been on this site since I was 10 so I know the law pretty well. Recently, I’ve been having problems with some of them.

I have brought up my dislike of swearing (Honestly, for the most part I’m fine with reading swears, just I don’t want any of them to be in trouble with the mods) multiple times. Usually in the form of “Hey guys can you censor your swearing more?”

Today though, one character went on a long (albeit dramatic and unneeded) rant, and in it used two swears. Fucking and Bitch. They were censored as such fxcking and bxtch.

I bring this up in the group chat saying “Guys p l e a s e censor your swears a lot more” <— admittedly dramatic, I wanted to get my point since it seemed like they were ignoring me.

One of my partners (17?), the one who posted the rant, questioned how I would like them to censor it, bringing up how the censored swears don’t show up on the foul language filter provided in the rules (it’s known for a while to be faulty, such as saying pony was offensive for containing the German word po).

I told them that I would prefer them to not swear at all (The rules never say that censored swears are allowed), but that if they felt the absolute need for a character to swear (I don’t understand why, but again, I don’t like to swear so I dont get much of a say), to at least censor it in a way it is not instantly recognizable. My line of thinking was things as ****ing, ***hole, et.c.

Two other partners joined in, expressing sadness over not being able to swear (again. This is a chILDRENS SITE.) They all apologized for the swearing but. They’ve done it before. They felt annoyed. The final nail in the coffin was in the next post from the rant charater (directed towards mine) contained: “I'd express the depths of my hurt and anger, but you'd disapprove if the vocabulary it would require.”

My character has no qualms against swearing or foul language. It was a jab directly targeted at me.

So I guess, was I in the wrong? I know it’s a silly situation, but I genuinely don’t want them to get warned or even temp banned for breaking the rules (It’s well known that the mods are kinda crap at doing anything)

Additional info: even though we’re almost adults, it doesnt speak for the intention of the website. For example one of my partners (also one of the swearers) has only recently turned 13. When we first started interacting, they were 11. These are also not the first instances of swearing, but the first instance of what people would consider the bigger swears.

What are these acronyms?

amazing charater, 12/10 charater, my brainrot catalyst for almost a near decade.

she has a full list of female ship option for her (even if i think most of her popular ones are mid to bad but that's a rant to get cancelled for another day #justice4wallflower)

but she literally has one motherfucker on the male side and it's boring motherfucker.

this is fucking tragic, a war crime, a fucking disappointment unpairalied. at least scitwi has timber too so she has that but damn they did sunset dirty in this respect.

you have to basicly make a new characters to make him any more interesting the saltine with salt scraped off.

and we could say luz from owl house also falls into this category cuz she had hunter...for like a little while as a viable option till they got more fleshed out and he became unviable and she had nobody after.
