(Not: O yıllarda 64 KB hafızalı Fez Panda (IoT) ile tek tekerlek üzerinde dengede duran hobi amaçlı geliştirmeler yapıyordum)

headcanon; yo I honestly forgot I had this banner. Anyway, we're going to review the Isshu language headcanons, because bitches will make up a whole gd conlang instead of doing replies or fixing their busted-ass blog. We're doing this in two parts: first, pronunciation and grammar rules, and second, phrases and words. This will likely be a masterpost that I update if I ever decide to invent even more phrases in the future. So without further ado, let's get on with the show.
Pronunciation
Firstly: Isshu does have its own alphabet, as seen in the Abyssal Ruins. We're not gonna fuck around with that here because it's inconvenient, and also I lost the font I used to have that let me type with those symbols. lmao.
The rules as written here can be considered a guide for transliteration of the language with the Modern (Unown?) Alphabet. Most letters do map more or less directly to the modern equivalent, with a few exceptions:
K is used for hard-C sounds, so Cat becomes Kat.
C is used for soft-C and S sounds, such as in Certainty. Sat becomes Cat.
S exclusively represents the "sh" sound, so Shop becomes Sop.
The "ch" sound is not used; any instances of "ch" are replaced with an "sh" sound. Check becomes Sheck, which is spelled Sek.
A and O are both pronounced with their short vowel sound at the beginning and end of a word, and their long sound when used elsewhere (as in Act, Object, Cake, Tow.)
E and I are both pronounced with their long vowel sounds at the beginning of the world, and their short sound when used elsewhere (as in Each, Ice, Met, Knit)
U takes the place of the long "oo" sound, such as in you, so "too" becomes "tu", "new" becomes "nu"
Q is used exclusively for the "kw" sound as in queen, quest, or quirk (spelled qen, qact, and qirk)
Y is used in place of short u sound, "uh", but is still pronnounced with the actual y-sound, making it "yuh." "undue" would be yndu, "yun-doo", and "unite" would be something like "yunet".
X is always used as a "ks" sound, as in "extreme", so "socks" would become "cox," (yes, yes, laugh it up), and pronounced more like "soaks".
Grammar Rules
To make a word plural, add -i to the end, the same way you would use "s". Metaphysical concepts and certain natural phenomenon are typically always plural.
"RES" (resh) means fire, while "RESI" (reshi) means flames. "ZEKI" (zek-ee), meaning lightning, is always plural.
Adding an "-a" to the end of a word denotes ownership, with the object that is owned being the word to which the "a" is added. This is also an extremely common practice for names and locations.
"ARMONI," is the origin of the word "harmony". "ARMONIA," more or less means "of harmony."
"EN" (een) is a particle USUALLY equivalent to "the" or sometimes "that", denoting a Specific Thing, however, it serves other uses. There is no particle equivalent to "a" as it would be used to refer to something non-specific. Instead, the plural version of the item is used.
"Give me a pencil," meaning "give me any pencil," would be translated as "give me pencils," while "give me that/the pencil," meaning "give me the specific pencil" would translate as-is, using "en".
“NOS” (nosh) is a particle meaning “and,” or “along with”.
Adding -N to a trait is similar, but instead refers to a person or object in possession of a trait (e.g., to be blonde vs to be a blonde; to have honor vs to be honorable), and acts as a title. Metaphysical traits typically end in -I, but physical traits do not, so in the case of the latter, the suffix to make it a noun is "-AN" This almost literally means "in possession of." Another, albeit slightly rarer form of this is "-IX," meaning "made of".
"DEVI" (deh-vee) is a word meaning light, honor, warmth (in personality), etc. "DEVIN" refers to an honorable person. "REMI" (rem-ee) means protection, guidance, or guardianship; "REMIN" literally translates as guardian or guide, but also means monarch or leader.
Likewise, to turn an adjective or concept into a verb, use "-R" or "-IR".
"KONI" (con-ee) means movement or energy. "KONIR" (con-ear) means to spread or move.
Isshu has many words with double meanings, where objects are often named for the trait or action they are associated with. This means that a lot of non-proper nouns, primarily those referring to objects, end in -ir, -in/-an, or-ix. The “en” particle is used in front of nouns to distinguish as such.
For example: “SIR” (sheer) is a word meaning “ascend or go up.” SIR also refers to a spire, tower, or other Tall Construction. So to say “climb the tower,” you would say “sir en sir.”
Isshu does not have a past or future tense, only present. To indicate that something already happened, or that something will happen, a person would add an indicator of time.
For example, "I moved," would be translated as something like "I [am moving] before now."
Double letters (such as in pass, commit) are not used, so "Isshu" is actually spelled "ISYU"
Pronouns
Pronouns become a bit tricky. First person is fairly self explanatory, and similar enough to in English:
I becomes U (oo). Me becomes UN (oon), which literally means “the self,” and myself, “UNA,” (oon-uh) literally meaning “of the self”. UNA is also used in place of “I am.”
Because ownership is denoted on the object, there is no equivalent to “mine” or “my”. To say “that [specific object] is mine,” you would say, “UNA ENA,” which literally translates that is of myself. To say that you are performing an action, put the verb before “una” — so “I am moving” is “KONIR UNA,” literally “moving of myself”.
There is no plural “you,” in Isshu. Commands (just like in English) can be issued without the need to address a specific person (again, “grab me the pencil” would be a command issued to a general group of people, or if speaking only to one person, there is no need to identify who the command is for.) A statement would be made in the same way, without specifying to whom it is addressing. The “you all” is implied, so saying something like “you are all doing a good job,” you would instead say something like, “[to be doing] a good job,” with the adjective having an -a appended to indicate that it is a trait of the verb. So it would translate literally as, “a good job of [doing]”.
Singular “you,” much like in English, is really only used when you need to specify a particular person to whom you are speaking. (e.g., as you would in the phrase “You and I”.) The word for singular you is “VO”. To say “you and I,” you would say “UNA NOS VOA,” literally “myself and yourself.”
Finally, third person pronouns, which are, in fact, just nouns. All pronouns are derived from titles. To contextualize: a person would introduce themselves with a title at the beginning of their name, which would also express what pronouns to refer to them as. To put it another way, imagine the title of “doctor” was also your pronouns.
To refer to someone in the same way you would use “they” or “she,” simply use the singular noun version of the title (so if it would end in -i, remove the -i). If you are saying that the person is doing something, “she does,” or “she is doing,” append -a to the title and place it after the verb, much like you would with the first person pronouns. Adverbs are added after the verb, before the noun, so the order of “she is doing a good job,” would be translated literally as, “a good job of doing of she.” (Actually, in this case, the “doing” would probably be considered unnecessary, so it would probably be “good job of she”.)
So, without further ado: Isshu pronouns, instead of gendered, are based on the pokemon type a person is associated with (read: the type of their partner pokemon, should they have one.) This means that young children are all referred to by the same pronouns until they find their partner pokemon. The types, as recognized in Isshu, are found here.
The following are considered “regular” pronouns:
ASIN (ah-shin), associated with normal and fighting types. This is also the pronoun used by young children and those without partner pokemon. Pronoun version: ASIN, ASINA. TERIN (teer-in), associated with rock and ground types. Pronoun version: TER, TERA. UNDIN (oon-din), associated with water types. Pronoun versions: UND, UNDA. ICIN (eye-sin), associated with ice types. Pronoun versions: ICIR, ICA. RESIN (resh-in), associated with fire types. Pronoun versions: RES, RESA. YUSIN (yoosh-in), associated with flying and electric types. Pronoun versions: YUS, YUSA. VIRIN (ve-rin), associated with grass, bug, and most poison types. Pronoun versions: VIR, VIRA.
Finally, the following two are “special” pronouns:
AMU-SIN (amoo shin), used exclusively by Aura Users, Psychics, and Shadow Walkers. Using it if you were not among these groups was considered extremely disrespectful. Pronoun versions: MUS (moosh), MUSA (moosha). REMIN (rem-in) was a pronoun reserved exclusively for the monarch and legendary heroes. To refer to yourself with this title without being formally recognized as such was considered immensely egotistical, if not outright insulting. Pronoun versions: REM, REMA.
Dictionary
Finally, we’re here. A complete list of all the words as established thus far.
ADI, ADIN, ADA: Willpower, of strong will. AMUS, AMUSIN: Supernatural or otherworldly. One of Isshu’s pokemon types; referred mainly to psychic, dark, and ghost type pokemon. ANDI, ANDA: An abundance or great number. ARMONI: Harmony (musically). “Harmonia,” as a name, was derived from this word. ASIN: Simple, honest, as it appears. DEVI, DEVIN: Noble, honorable, bright. Think “white knight”. FERUN: Worked metal, typically steal FERI, FERIR: Refined or honed FERIX: Sword ICIR: Freezing, frozen, to freeze; ice. ICIRYUS: Blizzard. Literally “freezing storm.” KONI, KONIR: Motion, moving. KIRI, KIR: A written piece of music, a symphony; seals. “Kir” refers to the action of writing them. KYURI: Stark, cold, empty. LUC, LUCI: Light, glow REM: Dragon; guardian REMI: Divinity REMIR: To protect REMIN: Monarch, guardian, leader RES, RESI: Fire, flames SIR: to ascend or climb; spire or tower SIN, SINI: the truth, objective truth UNDIR: To descend or dive; water. UNDELI: Waves, movement in water. UNDEYUS: A tsunami or hurricane UNOVI: Unity, togetherness, oneness. UNOVA, UNOVAN: United; an unbreakable bond. VIR: To live; life, the state of being alive VIRI: Nature, flora and fauna YUS, YUSI: Storm(s). ZEKI: Electricity ZEKYUSI: Thunderstorm

Ok, I want to tell something happened just a bunch of minutes ago. I was re-reading VKM 13 and I was to the infamous scene of Yuuki and Zero when my sister passed through. Now, my sister doesn’t read manga as I do, she doesn’t know VK and, more than everything, she isn’t interested in, but one thing she has pointed out made me think. She has stopped and said: “What are you reading?” with a shocked expression on her face. I answered that it was a chapter from VKM and she responded that it was very rough scene. (Well, she precisely said “Ma che leggi? Che razza di scena!”). She had an uncomfortable look on her face and this made me think that the impact that a scene like that can give a very bad message because, to somebody who does not read the series, it gives the feeling of a bloody r*pe scene. And I’m also reflecting on this aspect, because in the past when there were Zeki scenes, I could actually feel that there was... well, a bit of chemistry, yes, but this time, the whole scene was totally uncomfortable to see. Also, I don’t know what Hino has in her mind, but I really hope she will be able to reason because if she really wants to portray a “healthy” relationship... well, it seems that she will have a long road to follow.

Hi..hope i am not bothering with this question but why do you ship yume especially after VKM came out because i don't think they even have much presence in VKM . I do like Kaname but in the end he chose the greater good instead of yuki whereas zero never chose anything over yuki after ch 93 , he let go of his revenge, his anger for Yuki.
Why do I ship YuMe when VKM is out?
Because I want to! I'm even free to ship Aido X Yuuki, and they never really was cannon. And I don't really care what's with them in VKM. I was just so happy that we get some kind of continuation! Btw if you pay attention every important VKM ZeKi moments are around when Yuuki remembers to Kaname. Kaname's memory is in every moment of ZeKi
Kaname choosed the greater good and not Yuuki...
You know if Kaname doesn't sacrifice himself for the greater good there's no VKM and VKM ZeKi. There are no Anti-Vampire weapons, and hunters which would mean there aren't anything that can stop greedy vampires to do anything to humans. Yuuki would try to stop them because of her pacific ways but she would be against a lot of vampires who would love to enslave and kill humans. And she's just 17, a newborn pureblood. What can she do in this situation? You get it, nothing. I think she would also die in some case or an other protecting humans in this scenario. It's an other case if Kaname would have been able to stop this case to escalate but I don't think so.
Whereas Zero choosed Yuuki over everything...
Yeah...Zero choosed Yuuki because Yuuki didn't have an other choice at that point. Until Kaname was in the picture (because Zero understand the feelings between Kaname and Yuuki) . I mean he tried to kiss her two times and he said at one time he wasn't serious. And after he found out Yuuki was a pureblood promised to kill her. If you just think about it. It was Kaname who manipulated Zero to Yuuki's side, he knew Zero would love Yuuki in some way, and ZeKi was possible because Kaname was out of picture and give his blessings to them. And Zero letting go of his anger towards Yuuki and some other good purebloods, it's a character development but he lost so much of his personality and became really bland.

Extended tag/trigger warning description for Love Is Being Scared and Loving Anyway Chapter 1, all versions
The first chapter of my big fic Love Is Being Scared and Loving Anyway (Or Loving Anyway) is finally up on AO3. It includes three versions of the same story, one an omniscient point of view, and one from both Clover and Qrow’s own povs.
Here is an explanation of how this fic is formatted and what the versions are.
Or you can just go straight to the fic.
Clover’s pov is chapter 1
Omniscient (Eye to Eye) is chapter 2
Qrow’s pov is chapter 3
This is a pretty emotionally heavy fic, and one of the reasons I did the multiple versions was so that there could be options for anyone worried about triggers. Each version on AO3 has a short description of the trigger warnings relevant to that version, but I wanted to go into a bit more detail for anyone who wanted it, and didn’t want to put a wall of text in the chapter notes each time. So this is all the trigger notes for each version, as well as a more complete list of general tags for the chapter.
As always, if you feel I’ve missed something, or that there is a better tag for something I have covered, please let me know. :)
Ch 1 - Generals tags
Characters - Qrow Branwen, Clover Ebi, Marrow Amin, Elm Erdene , Vine Zeki, Harriet Bree, Ruby Rose, Yang Xiao Long, Summer Rose, Tai Xiao Long (mention), Raven Branwen (mention), Ozpin (mention), James Ironwood (mention), Blake Belladonna (mention), Adam Taurus (mention), Tyrian Callows (mention)
Relationships - Qrow Branwen/Clover Ebi, Past Qrow Branwen/Summer Rose, Poly STR- STQ possible but not outright (honestly Idk in this universe if I want it or not…)
(Hey! So I had no idea that the distinction between character/character and character & character was / = Romantic/sexual relationship, & = platonic/familial relationship! So utilizing that now!)
Qrow Branwen & Ruby Rose, Qrow Branwen & Yang Xiao Long, Ruby Rose & Yang Xiao Long, Qrow Branwen & Tai Xiao Long, Qrow Branwen is a father of 8 (9, with Penny), Yang Xiao Long & Tai Xiao Long, STRQ co-parenting, The Rose-Xiao Long-Branwen family
Content - Hurt/comfort, Vent/therapy fic, Fair Game, Hummingbird
Broad warnings - Panic attacks, PTSD, Flashbacks, Past character death, Ch 12 mention, Ch 12 description, Clover death mention, Ch 12 fix it, Ch 12 was Qrow’s nightmare, Depression, Anxiety, Panic disorder, Insecurity, Grief, Loss of partner, Past alcoholism mention, Alcoholism recovery, Dissociating, Trauma, Nightmares
----------
Individual versions (I’m only going to expand on the ones that are a bit loose or less straight forward, so things like Racing thoughts, is pretty self contained so explaining would just be spoilers.)
Clover-
Blood mention - Pretty minimal in this version.
Claustrophobia - Not necessarily technically claustrophobia, but some descriptions that I thought could be triggering.
Difficulty breathing - Due to anxiety, or perceived trouble breathing.
Dissociation - Two reasons, could apply to Qrow for the same reason as above. And for Clover, for using intentional dissociation as a coping mechanism.
Hallucinations/Altered perception of reality/Flashbacks/ PTSD  - All of these really are for the same thing but I wanted to be overly cautious. None of them fit the instance perfectly, but it is generally Qrow misinterpreting things in his panicked state. Seeing, hearing things not as in actual hallucinations but brain still putting everything in the context of his panic/not being fully aware.
Hypercritical - Overly high expectations of self, perfectionism.
Nausea - More just a description of  feeling off.
Paranoia - Really more anxiety related over worrying, apprehension, but again, thought could fall under this umbrella.
Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD)/Hyper-awareness - Just general over sensitivity, awareness, inability to process during panicked state.
Trichotillomania - Again, not technically, but actions that could be reminiscent.
Unconscious self-harm - Felt like this was the best way to put this, but knew some people might not know exactly what I meant. This is regarding Qrow. He isn’t unconscious but rather, during a panic attack he unknowingly hurts himself, and it’s not at all serious.
(I say it this way because this is how I have described similar instances I have had - basically this is “Qrow hurt itself in its confusion” the tag)
Anxiety, Coping mechanisms, False confidence, Grief, Hyper-awareness, Insecurity, Intrusive thoughts, Loss of partner, Minor injury (Qrow’s), Panic attack, Panic, Racing thoughts, Self-loathing, Summer death mention, Touch sensitivity.
--------------
Omniscient
Body horror - I think this is a bit of a stretch, but again, overly careful. Mostly for descriptions of feelings/bodily awareness that could be disturbing. One or two places that lean a little more toward bloody/gory (but not much)
Dermatillomania - Same as claustrophobia/trichotillomania.
Difficulty speaking/nonverbal episode - Similar to phobias, not quite there but Qrow having a very hard time making himself speak.
Feeling like dying - Description of what Qrow is feeling as he thinks he’s dying (panic).
Alcoholism mention (very minor), Altered perception of reality (see above), Anxiety, Blood mention, Ch 12 That scene mention, Claustrophobia (see above), Clover death description (minor), Clover death mention, Difficulty breathing (see above), Flashbacks (see above), Grief, Hallucinations (see above), Hyper-awareness (see above), Intrusive thoughts, Loss of partner, Minor injury (Qrow’s), Nightmare/Night terror, PTSD (see above), Pain description, Panic attack, Panic, Racing thoughts, SPD (see above), Summer death mention, Touch sensitivity. Trichotillomania (see above), Unconscious self-harm (see above), Vomit mention.
-------------
Qrow-
Suicidal thoughts - This one’s a little border, or at least what most people would think of as border, even though it still is a form of suicidal thought. It’s nothing in any way actionable or planning, but wishing/expecting to die during a trauma.
Altered perception of reality (see above), Blood mention, Body horror (see above, though this version gets the closest to actually fitting the term), CH 12 That scene description, Ch 12 mention, Claustrophobia (see above), Clover death description, Clover death mention, Dermatillomania (see above), Difficulty breathing (see above), Difficulty speaking (see above), Dissociation (see above), Feeling like dying (see above), Flashbacks (see above), Grief, Hallucinations (see above), Hyper-awareness (see above), Intrusive thoughts, Loss of partner, Minor injury (Qrow’s), Nightmare/Night terror, Nonverbal episode (see above), PTSD (see above), Pain description, Panic attack, Paranoia (see above), Racing thoughts, SPD (see above), Self-loathing, Summer death description, Summer death mention, Trichotillomania (see above), Unconscious self-harm (see above), Vomit mention.

Will this be a rant? Of sorts, maybe.
It seems now there is another discourse in VK fandom, this time about whether Ren and Ai will be a romantic couple or not. Firstly, Hino is drawing them in a suggestive way, that’s true.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Do I care if they end up together or not? Not really. She has drawn Kaname and Zero in a suggestive way many times, hell, even in recent covers Zero is literally all over Kaname. Not to mention Zero/Kaname has way more fanfictions and incredible fanarts than either of the canon straight couples. It’s true, just check it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Think what you want, above illustration is pure Zero/Kaname and Yume.
And, in the below one, Zero’s hand...Sorry, two rivals and enemies just don’t do that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at the above illustration, that’s not how two guys stand if they are enemies, they just don’t.
Secondly, both Ai and Ren have an intense need of another’s blood. Now, many people say their relationship is creepy…
Sorry, but many shoujo mangas and mainstream novels have the same crap. The girl is obsessed with the boy and also ends up with him. Yikes. Gross.
And, those stories are celebrated. So, why be against these two? Oh, wait, it’s because they are not hetero.
Hino is not doing anything great even if they do come out as a couple, Clamp has done it many times and Clamp works are way more popular than Hino’s can ever be.
X, a shoujo genre manga has Kamui and Fuuma.
They loved each other, don’t even try to argue with me about it.
Seishirou and Subaru, the most tragic couple of manga and anime are also in it. CCS has Yue with Clow Reed, Yukito/Yue and Touya, Sakura and Tomoyo, some of these feelings are one sided, but none of them are hated.
These couples are way more popular than whole VK manga. Rg Veda, another shoujo has Amaterasu and Souma, Taishakuten and Ashura-ou, Yasha and Ashura can also be interpreted as an M/M couple. Oh, wait. That’s canon. They are together in Tsubasa.
And, don’t get me started on Fai and Kurogane. There you go people, these are shonen and shoujo mangas which have same sex couples.
And, the readers know there was something going on between Fai and Kurogane even if it’s not stated explicitly.
Clamp literally said,”do not call Fuuma and Kamui brothers”. They are soulmates. They don’t even mention the obsessed fangirl, kotori.
Arina Tanemura, whose stories are a perfect example of a  fangirl ending with the guy they were after, also has a single M/M couple in one of her works. Mostly in her stories, the main girl likes one guy, but in the end, that guy never ends up with her. He ends up with one of the obsessed fangirls.
Am I still bitter about how dirty the mangaka did Itsuki Otomiya? Yes. The sweetheart doesn’t even know Haine was his daughter, and the whole bloody cast had coloured illustrations, a freaking artbook is there for the series, but not a single illustration for him. Yikes.
I hope she redeems herself and makes Tokita and Chikage a couple in 31 Ai dreams. The only series of hers which didn’t have this cliché was Sakurahime Kaden and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne.
And, let’s be honest, Eiichi would have have ended up with another fangirl if he wasn’t dead in Full moon. Thank god he was spared that bullshit. But, then again, he dies. That’s not good either.
Gentleman’s alliance cross, Nekota are just bad. Yes, the art is beautiful, but that doesn’t mean the males of her series deserved to end up with obsessive fangirls.
The one with underage relationship, Nekota or whatever [thank god that was never picked up by Viz.] In this, the blue haired dude, Serizawa, who the main girl liked from the beginning didn’t end up with her, he ended up with a fangirl. Ugh.
And, it is incestuous, the girl has feelings for her underage cousin.  Right.
Her art is beautiful, but damn it, her stories are so annoying.
For her only M/M couple in shinshi doumei cross, she had to make one half of the MM couple a cross dresser.
The guy, Maora was wearing woman’s clothing every time he and Maguri were shown together. He was never once shown as his real, tall self with Maguri.
And, she has said she isn’t comfortable with yaoi, but is okay with shonen ai.
Right.
But the point is, it’s been done many times.
In Hana Kimi, one of the protagonist’s elder brother is gay. He was the school’s physician if I am not wrong. So, Hino is not doing anything new.
Kyou Kara Maou is a shoujo manga, but it has Wulfrum and Yuri, two guys as a main couple. Granted, nothing happens, but they are engaged.
The manga was published in Asuka, a shoujo magazine.
Same goes for uraboku, Luka loves Yuki, regardless of the fact whether he is a female or a male. Senshirou and Kuroto were together, Hotsuma and Shusei were married in previous lives and they were very much together in the present as well.
Tumblr media
Do I think Ren and Ai will end up together, I dunno. Maybe they will, maybe they won’t. But I don’t think she will show them as a couple. If she will, fine. If she doesn’t, then also fine. They have an intense desire to be with each other, and their relationship is not parallel to Kaname and Yuuki’s or Haruka and Juri’s.
One can say they are like Rido, Yuuki’s uncle, not like the above two couples.
There are many differences between them and the two couples.
And, let’s not forget the harem Sara created, in fact she even kissed one of the girls.
Do I care about Ren and Ai ? No.
My sole reason for reading this manga is: Yume. Just bring Yuuki back and show Yume happily ever after. I really don’t care who ends up with whom.
But some reasons regarding Renai are hypocritical. This manga has incest, why are you being bothered by it now? Hell, she drew Ichiru and Zero in suggestive way too, and Zero’s care for Ichiru could also be questioned in that case.
Tumblr media
I am not sure if the above is Zero and Ichiru or Zero with another personality of his, I don’t want to see my artbook right now, but it can be seen as Zero and Ichiru.
Tumblr media
We don’t like yuri and yaoi.
Well, in that case I really hope it happens so it’ll tick off the people who make this statement. Yes, it’s a derogatory statement.
If the mangaka wants to do it, she can, it’s her choice. Hate her for it, plenty do. Zekis and yumes do for their reasons. I dislike the way she does things too, I hate many things she has done. But, hey she still did them.
Read Yona of the dawn in that case, that’s the only series which isn’t “problematic”
But,  Kija and Jaeha can be shipped in that too. I do ship them. And, the author has drawn shonen ai doujinshi’s.
And, Yona was in love with Su-won in the beginning, who is her cousin. Incest is incest, whether it’s between siblings or cousins, they are family.
I really don’t think Hino will show Ren and Ai as a couple. Siblings who are weirdly close, yes. Romantic couple, I don’t think so. If I am wrong, fine.
Just give me my Yume happy ending, and Takuma and Seiren scenes. I literally don’t care about the kids relationship. I just don’t. First, I had to suffer through that traitor’s crap with the stupid bint, Sayori, now this.
Edit :  Finally I read this chapter…
I don’t understand how anyone can even compare whatever crap that is going on between Ai and Ren to Yume and Haruka / Juri. The Kuran couples never looked so fucking weird with each other.
I was absolutely right in thinking their feelings for each other are reminiscent of what Rido felt. Just because Ai is Yume’s daughter doesn’t mean she’s a perfect character. Give me a break. Then again she had a crush on Zero as well.
And, she was raised among people like Ruka and Aidou, traitors and obsessed idiots. It’s no wonder she turned out idiotic.
She looks weird when she says, “she had her sister with her” to Youko.
I am not going to post the image cause its just bad.
Yume and Haruka/Juri were never so fucking creepy. Never.
Ren is just so bland and sad in everything that I don’t know what to think. Youko was the only one who wasn’t weird in this Ch.
The author should just wrap this up, it’s neither interesting nor is evoking any feelings in readers. It’s as bad Sayori/Aidou crap. Just stop with the useless story arcs, show Kaname and Yuuki together and end this shit.
I really don’t think the two girls will end up together. Their scenes aren’t sweet, and if she wants to show them, just do it and move on. They are both boring and least interesting. They are so bad it will not matter whether are together or apart.
They are as bad as other creepily obsessed M/F couples in novels and shoujo manga where the obsessed fangirl ends with the boy. This trope itself is gross. Who even cares about them?
They are only being hyped because they are two girls. When people thought Ren was a boy there wasn’t much reaction. I know there wasn’t. But now that they are two girls…
Hate them because they are stupid, no point in saying we don’t like them because its FF relationship. That’s just bigotry. Or maybe the author should be honest and say I wanted Zero and Kaname to fuck but Yuuki kept on getting in the way. So, I decided to pair their daughters together. because according to the author incest is fine in VK.  Just drop this crap already Hino.
I mean what the hell is up with this boring arc ?
I don’t even understand why stupid shit like this is overlooked in MF couples but if same happens in same sex, everyone is like, looks its unhealthy.  Incest, age difference, obsessed idiots/ fangirls, they are all bad.
I love Clamp, but that Rika and Terada thing was just plain gross. Same goes for Rin and Sesshoumaru.
I kept on telling myself about the latter one, no they are a parent child relationship. But at one point, I had to accept it was anything but family love. I love Sesshoumaru and always will. But I can’t get behind Rin/Sessh or whatever nonsense it was. Sessrin is celebrated, it’s a fact. It’s creepy, don’t deny it.
I know some of their artists and Sesskag [yuck] kept on leaving rude comments on SessKik fanworks, my favourite ship.
And Terada/Rika thing is overlooked because, let’s be honest CCS is fucking awesome. I overlook it and concentrate on yue yukito/ touya, syaoran/sakura.
I just want this RenAi thing to go away. I can’t stand either of them. Just show Kaname and Yuuki together and end this series. Hino should wrap it up and start a new one. VK will not gain the popularity it had at one point no matter what. The author is just coming off as desperate.

[I hope you post this as I'm kinda curious] Since you've talked about VK, have you read Memories yet? Also, what do you think of HanaYori? [which is my most favorite Vampire Knight ship, more so than the weird OT3 for ZeKi/YuMe Hino-sensei went to]
Yes, I have. Or more like I’m still reading it, cause it’s still ongoing. VK is the first manga I have ever read, been following it since ch 49 of the original series came out. I can’t really let it go at this point no matter how bad the manga has become.
I’m not a fan of Aidori to be honest. I love Hanabusa, he is one of my favourites and I think he deserves a better developed relatonship than what Hino eventually did. It was a very last minute thing in my opinion, it only really kicked off in Memories and to me it always seemed that Hino paired them up just to give a partner to him.
I really really do not like Yori as a character either. She was completely fine in the original series, I even liked her quite a bit, but for some reason in Memories Hino wrote her character in a way that I just can’t appreciate it anymore. Firstly, I do not like how pushy she is with Yuuki. She is always telling her to get together with Zero asap, totally disregarding the fact that the poor girl is literally mourning her lost love. I get that Yori just wants to see her happy, but she should let Yuuki do it at her own terms. I also think that Yori in incredibly selfish when it comes to her relationship with Hanabusa. I understand that being a human is important to her, but she couldn’t give a decent reason as to why she does not want to become a vampire for him? It just comes off as very selfish, she is literally giving up on a long life with him and their kids for what?? Nothing, really lol. She couldn’t say anything.
So yes, since I do not like Yori for reasons explained above, nor do I like how Hino literally made Aidori happen out of the blue, I can’t say I ship this ship, unfortunately. But of course, this is just my opinion.

I read your post on people imprinting on Kaname early on in the manga and I completely agree from personal experience. I started VK when I was 12/13 & we were up to the 70s ch. I personally thought Kaname & Yume were the hottest thing ever. Now I’m older & I think, “Uh, yeah no I’d run away as fast as I can.” I don’t really like Yume or Zeki, & now only read VK & VKM for Zero, who I used to completely ignore. I do want Kaname to be saved even if he’s an A-hole. I want a happy shoujo ending!
To be fair, I think everyone imprints on characters in their teens. The Zero fans around that age probably did the same thing, they just got luckier than the Kaname fans because Zero’s a relatively decent human being. That’s luck rather than skill. ;) But honestly, everyone imprints on bizarre characters in their teens–my first game crush when I was 13 was Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII. Noooooot exactly the healthiest of romantic figures, that gentleman. ;) But I didn’t get exposed to VK until I was in my first year of college, so my interest in the story was less about my own fantasies and more about the ridiculous narrative, and I think that’s why my own view of the story is fairly different from many other fans. =)
As for Kaname’s future, there’s no doubt he’ll find happiness in the future timeline, so I don’t think you need to worry at all on that score. =) No matter what way the story goes pairings-wise, Kaname finally living a good life is a guarantee.

What's your opinion on ch. 61 biting scene? Personally I didn't see it as a punishment because kaname said she did great by not drinking zero's blood. So its not like he was angry with her to punish her. She's wearing a different dress. So maybe some time has passed? The beginning panels have also not been shown. He even gave her his own blood immediately after. But zekis claim he was punishing her?
Hi fuzzykiddreamer!
Antis will claim whatever on Earth to discredit the ship they dislike, we should get used to it.
As per my personal opinion on this scene, I’d call it a severe lesson if we judge it from Kaname’s point of view. Before Kaname’s familiars take her, Yuuki says “you can punish me”, but
a) there’s literally nothing to punish her for;
b) it wasn’t Kaname’s intention.
He willfully let her go out of the mansion and gave her the weapon, so she didn’t escape. Yuuki didn’t try to run away later, and she didn’t drink Zero’s blood, though she was wounded and her thirst would be understood, however she didn’t bite the guy. And though Yuuki thinks she should be punished, Kaname actually doesn’t do it?
In fact he admires her decision not to drink that guy’s blood, however the phrases he says sound rather stern. But they have another nature: if we take into account what Rido told Kaname in the previous chapter (Kaname having contradictions about either seeing his little bird flying or ripping off her wings due to later known reason), what Kaname said to Touma (Yuuki needed to see that things are not so easy) and to Yuuki (about feeling weak and that you not always get what you want no matter how hard you try) it was… a teaching moment. Severely conducted - this is true, I admit, but not punishment in its nature. Because, well, the chain of decisions looks like this:
Hooded Woman, who was very important for Kaname, sacirfices her life to give humanity a weapon against vampires. And though people had the means to protect themselves, it didn’t stop violence and wars. So no matter how hard HW tried and how huge her sacrifice was, it didn’t change a lot. It makes the situation even more difficult for Kaname: not only he lost the person who was dear to him, but also he saw that not always something that is necessary to be done can destroy the root of problem. Remembering this and wanting to prevent Yuuki from doing something similar (he knows she can, because Yuuki is like that - self-sacrificing and merciful) Kaname wants to give her the lesson where she has to take a bitter medicine: she has an aim, she goes to achieve it and fails. And the main words Kaname says to her are about this:
“The feeling of powerlessness makes one feel mortifyingly angry at themselves, doesn’t it?”
It’s not Zero and his blood that is the focus of their conversation, not Kaname’s jealousy, which doesn’t even take place here, but it’s about Yuuki not being prepared yet to do and accept some things. And it’s this topic that leads Yuuki to asking questions about her being not good enough, and Kaname to saying that this is not the case and revealing her the truth about his past where his insecurities and contradictions stems from, which are the reasons of his behaviour.
And like you mentioned, Kaname immediately gave her his blood: punishing works differently.
What’s interesting, though Kaname protected Yuuki from doing something so desperate, he bore this responsibility himself: Kaname sacrificed his life to give humanity a new weapon, knowing it won’t solve every problem because it’s impossible, but he felt the necessity of it because otherwise people’s existence would be in danger.
So yeah, the scene still doesn’t look good and though Kaname’s behaviour can’t be justified here, it can be explained. Like I say, we should accept that our favourite characters can have bad sides and make wrong decisions. This is one of them where Kaname, led by his despair and fear to lose someone really dear once again, acts in such a way.
And about time difference: I always thought that some time has passed. It’s obvious that Kaname didn’t start to drink Yuuki’s blood the very moment she appeared home, so for me it’s never been a question.
Thank you for interesting ask and come again when you feel like it!
