Obviously Bojack is the bad guy in the Penny situation. No doubt about it. She's 17, he's old enough to be her dad. He left those other 2 kids at the ER and told them to lie for him. He clearly views her as a replacement for Charlotte and that's why he almost does it. Bad guy in every way. He was wrong.

That being said I do have one thing I wanna add that no one else seems to be bothered by:

I don't understand *why* Penny wants to sleep with him in the first place. I feel like the kiss comes out of nowhere. I don't understand *why* she's attracted to him.

(again, this isn't a critique of Penny, the obvious victim, as a person. I guess it's a critique of the writing. The story didn't do enough to sell me on why this girl wants to have her first time with the ugliest guy ever)

haha well i gotta disagree with the last part I think bojack is very attractive. maybe i just got bad taste but im such a sap for that horseface. shrugs

Story wise i do think it makes sense while we don't see it its two months apparently of bojack worming his way into the family as a second dad/uncle type figure. if he was a smarter guy he could have had something good alovingfamily butheselfishdeludedidiot

Young girls crushing on older celebs happens all the time.. what confused me was how Charlotte was so trusting of bojack despite not seeing him in a near 30 years i could def feel her still having lingering feelinngs , trying to have her cake and eat it too by keeping him around until realizing it was going to far. the whole thing is so dang sad and tragic to think about.

i am no longer on twitter, but it was literally just some random guy like 0 followers and all, who earlier this year just tweeted "i saw dan howell in edinburgh holding hands with someone who was NOT amazingphil!" and ofc phannies found it and retweeted it and occasionally quote it cuz its just so fuckin funny. dan WAS in edinburgh a few times this year for Unknown Reasons, so like, its possibly true! but honestly its just so fucking hilarious like a very stupid rumor mill cuz like. who cares LMAOO it's just silly.

𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐆𝐖𝐎𝐍 he will literally beg the management to let you both attend a show together most probably something like running man and then he will make a sneaky little perfect plan to show the fans just how good and compatible you two look, playing the knight in shining armour and helping you even though you are in the opposing team. he just wants to convey silently to everyone his love for you through his actions before he drops the ultimate news through an official announcement.

𝐍𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐔𝐑𝐀 𝐑𝐈𝐊𝐈 it was accidental, completely an accident. he just meant to change the twitter account layout to prank the fans but instead of the ugly picture of one of his hyungs, he ended up putting a picture of you both from your last date. and even though it was only for a few minutes before he changed, fans had already taken screenshots and tons of rumours had already started spreading. so he says fuck it and after going through the reactions for a few hours he's posting the same pic again, texting you about it later as if you haven't already been flooded by your fans.
