Havoc had been looking forward to meeting the Elric brothers, but he’d been looking forward to it while thinking he’d have the whole office as a buffer. oh... and the 8 ball thing, 8s show up a lot in reference to the crash: an avalanche killed eight people, they only had eight chocolate bars, susana parrado died after eight days, search efforts were cancelled after 8 days, the aircraft was 80 km east from its planned route when it crashed... it makes a TON of sense
