💗 A Classic Romance 💗

Happy very-last-minute Valentines Day! I figured everyone would be posting TotK Zelink, so here's classic to throw off the theme! :) I'm not as content with it as I want it to be, but I at least got the composition (inspired by like 5 old paintings I've had to look at recently). I used way too many brushes. Expect me to redraw this or even edit this post until I'm satisfied with it...

Summary:

Years of mischief shared between the young Princess of Hyrule and her royal but somewhat annoying knight have gone as smooth as it could expect when their personalities are constantly clashing. But amongst the bickering, is there possibly something else between the two? An exploration, expansion, and partial rewrite of the 1989 Cartoon series where I try and contain it to a one-shot. AKA this silly little show has wormed its way into my heart and despite its cringe moments there is good stuff there. (Zelink blueprint im telling you)

And besides that, he’d really pissed her off on more than a few occasions, so if she hadn’t killed him by now, why would she over something like this? She’d just been crying his name a few minutes ago, after all—

“Yes, your royal highness.” Oh, he heard her, all right. Gods, Link, harder, harder, it’s so good— “I heard you.”

This is a entry for @zelinktines24 event day 25: Just a kiss. This feature DiC Legend of Zelda 80s cartoon Link and Zelda.

Princess Zelda is doing her studies in the castle courtyard when Link come up and said to her, “Well, I just got back for dealing with a group of Moblin bandits raiding a village. I needed a reward for my works, such as a kiss.” Putting down her study book for a moment, Zelda said to Link, “You always begging for a kiss, Link. Can you think of anything else to ask for?” Link think for a moment before he reply, “I guess a good nap count.” Zelda is not happy at Link’s selfish as he is not like the hero fo legends she has hear about in the history of Hyrule and got back to her study book, only for Link to bug her as he said, “You know, you should not be studying on a nice day.” Zelda reply, “It’s the perfect weather to study outside, Link. Beside, did you thank about what a princess need to learn when she become queen?” Link said, “Sorry, princess. I just want a reward for all of my hard works fighting Ganon and his monsters.” Seeing that Link is not going away until he get his kiss, Zelda said to him, “Alright, Link. You get you reward. But it’s just one kiss, Link.” Link smile as huge said to the princess, “Unless you wanted more.” Quickly, Zelda give Link a kiss on the cheek.
