I fucking love my camera. My 60D was 11 years old and my only dslr for that entire time, so I really felt I deserved an upgrade.
I made the photographically awesome but financially deranged decision to get a Canon R7. It's incredible in so many ways. But a true DSLR like my old 60D is still more reliable than a mirrorless camera like the R7. As a very complicated digital being, the R7 unfortunately occasionally chokes, a couple of seconds delay waking up before it will focus or shoot.
So here is my first fox on the R7, which was nicely posed, but unfortunately the quick brown fox jumps faster than the lazy camera.
During a brutal Bunuru (Noongar - second summer), a cafe created a little oasis for the wildlife. This quenda (southern brown bandicoot) appreciated it.
Definitely got Up Close and Personal with the wildlife of Jefferson Lake Colorado yesterday! I’ve seen a couple golden eagles in my time as a wildlife photographer, but have never gotten close enough to one for a really good picture. It’s a really bad idea to get close to moose, and great blue herons are not likely to ever let you get close.
A Crazy Blue Heron
Usually blue herons will fly away…
