Is it bad that I’ve downloaded pictures of premade magical oil bottles so I can use the pictures’ energy to charge my candle instead of buying the oil? Like I’ve downloaded a pic of the fiery wall of protection oil and now I’m pulling energy out of the picture to put inside my white candle.
I don’t usually do this, I mostly just buy the oils but I have too many oils right now that I need to use. Can it be called budget witchcraft or is this just magical oil piracy?

does witchblr have any spell suggestions for grief? im coming up on a death anniversary and wanted to do something day of to help ease the burden.
currently the one i am working out the kinks in is a candle burning, anointed in lavender and chamomile for peace, rosemary, oats and witch hazel for healing and calendula and fennel for remembrance.
any help (or good vibes) would be appreciated, its a difficult time right now.

Every color has different associations
White - Purity, Spirituality, Peace
Pink - Love
Orange - Warmth and Nurturing
Yellow - Celebration of life, Sun, Transformation
Green - Growth, beginnings, transformation since death is a transition to a new stage of existence
Purple - Spirituality, Divinity
Blue - Peace, calm, soothing
Someone once asked "What is a good color candle to help with grief?" and that was a good question. The answer is, think of what color would bring you the most comfort, and go with that.

Got a couple of new pieces for Art Fight. The first includes two characters: captain_mako's merman Kario, and Nullient's sprigatito pokemon Adair. I had wanted to make a two-character drawing with some sort of strong contrast between the characters, and after clicking through a bunch of random characters by different people, the fish/cat distinction seemed like it would be a fun one to do. And then the fact that Kario was a merman pretty much gave me the setting. I really like how the rock looks in this one.
The second piece is of @original-art-potato-blog's character Candle Witch. As soon as I saw this character, I knew I wanted to draw her rowing across the sea, her hat aflame, having a fun adventure. At first I was thinking she would be in a large tub, but when I sat down to draw it my mind turned to the cover of the They Might Be Giants album 'Flood', and I decided that that makeshift craft made out of washtubs was the way to go. (The album cover itself makes use of a photo by Margaret Bourke-White.)
