Happy 54th birthday, Robert Sean Leonard!!!
Happiest of birthdays, sir! You don't have any idea of how much I appreciate your existence and how much I treasure your work (be it on the theatre, tv movies, tv shows, and films). I've talked extensively before of how characters like Neil, Wilson, Housman, Barry Kempler, Danny, and many others have resonated with me; and how your work has changed my life time and time again. In honor of your birthday, I proudly present:
Robert Sean Leonard on the stage

PS1: I know he probably won't see this taking into consideration that the man doesn't use social media, and it's almost impossible that he would choose to look at the hellsite, but one can dream
PS2: I chose Elvis Costello's music because he said he liked it on an interview

Fungal microbiota sustains lasting immune activation of neutrophils and their progenitors in severe COVID-19 | Nature Immunology
We found that elevated levels of Candida albicans immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies marked patients with severe COVID-19 (sCOVID-19) who had intestinal Candida overgrowth, mycobiota dysbiosis and systemic neutrophilia.
...
These findings suggest that gut fungal pathobionts may contribute to immune activation during inflammatory diseases, offering potential mycobiota-immune therapeutic strategies for sCOVID-19 with prolonged symptoms.
study in Nature Immunology suggests that an excess of certain gut fungi, including Candida albicans, may contribute to severe COVID-19 or long COVID-19 through inflammation; antifungal treatments in mice showed potential in alleviating these effects.

The pathetic men enjoyers on this site are absolutely SNOOZING on the potential of the works of George Bernard Shaw.
like, in his 1898 play Candida, he literally wrote a dude named Eugene who falls to the floor and cries at any inconvienience. it is his only problem solving strategy and it doesn't work at all. this boy is the embodiment of a scrungly kitten named Mayonnaise that was drop kicked into a creek.
Adaptions of Shaw's Pygmalion such as My Fair Lady simply cannot express the level of autistic boyfailure power possesed by original Henry Higgins.
and don't even get me Started on the dumbass named Adolphus Cusins who plays a big drum for the salvation army for no reason other than he is an absolute simp for Major Barbara.
now go and read some classic literature you freaks

Symptoms that aren't talked enough about with fungal infections/autoimmune diseases are derealization/depersonalization, nightmares, hot flashes, brain fog, body aches, memory loss, fatigue, anxiety, IBS, general gut/digestive issues, growing food intolerances, etc. Just because you don't have the most common symptoms doesn't rule out some of these diseases.
And I always recommend getting a second opinion if you have even the slightest hunch that your healthcare provider may have misdiagnosed. It's your body and your health, so listen to your gut.
My mom and I had all of the symptoms listed above, and more. One doctor diagnosed us with anxiety, her reason being "well, my son has some of those symptoms and he has anxiety." Anxiety, depression, and even mood swings can sometimes be a symptom of an underlying condition, which was the case for me and my mom. We chose to find help through a different healthcare provider who dug deeper. She found borrelia burgdorferri (lyme), candida, mold, blastomycosis. My mom had so many I can't remember them all (damn memory loss lol.) Since we had untreated lyme for such a long period of time, we still have toxins that are either still in our system or trying to get in, so we're still on treatment. Anyway, just watch out for sneaky symptoms like the ones listed above. A vast majority of healthcare workers care about your well being and would either recommend you to a specialist or would be willing to dig a little deeper into the root cause of your symptoms. At the end of the day, do what you feel is best for your health and well-being.

Zephyranthes candida is native to South America in climate zones 7 - 10 but is commonly grown as an ornamental and subsequently naturalized in many parts of the world. Common names include autumn zephyrlily, white windflower, white rain lily, and Peruvian swamp lily. All parts of the plant are considered mildly toxic.

Fellow spoonies!
I’m on the first tier of an anti candida diet and I am STRUGGLING. I’ve gotten used to not having sugar and real bread but I hate giving up pumpkin spice and cinnamon (My doctor’s having me do no warm or hot spices) and apples and other fruits.
Any tips on getting through this fall season with no traditional pumpkin spice?
(Please rb and spread! I want to see peoples recipes!!)

"Dietary Remedies for Candidiasis: Managing Yeast Infections through Healthy Eating"
Candidiasis, generally known as a incentive infection, is caused by an overgrowth of the Candida fungus in the body. While specifics are frequently specified to treat candidiasis, salutary changes can also play a significant part in managing the condition. In this composition, we will bandy colorful salutary remedies for candidiasis and how they can help palliate symptoms and promote overall health.
Reduce Sugar Intake Candida feeds on sugar, so it's pivotal to minimize your sugar consumption. Avoid meliorated sugars, including sticky potables, delicacies, goodies, and reused foods. Also, be aware of retired sugars in products like seasonings, gravies, and packaged snacks. conclude for natural sweeteners like stevia or small quantities of raw honey rather.https://rb.gy/mt8bj
Avoid High Glycemic Index Foods High glycemic indicator foods fleetly increase blood sugar situations, which can complicate candidiasis. Minimize or exclude consumption of white chuck , white rice, potatoes, and other refined carbohydrates. rather, choose whole grains like quinoa, brown rice, and whole wheat, which have a lower glycemic indicator.
Incorporate Antifungal Foods Certain foods retain antifungal parcels and can help combat Candida overgrowth. Include garlic, onion, coconut oil painting, gusto, turmeric, oregano, and cinnamon in your diet. These foods contain composites that can inhibit the growth of Candida and support the vulnerable system.
Consume Probiotic- Rich Foods Probiotics promote a healthy balance of gut bacteria and can inhibit the growth of Candida. Include fermented foods similar as yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, kimchi, and kombucha in your diet. These foods give salutary bacteria like lactobacilli and bifidobacteria, which help restore the natural microbial balance in the body.https://rb.gy/mt8bj
Increase Fiber Input Fiber aids in digestion and helps exclude waste and poisons from the body, including Candida. Consume a variety of high- fiber foods like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes, and nuts. These foods promote regular bowel movements, precluding the overgrowth of Candida in the gastrointestinal tract.
Stay Doused Drinking an acceptable quantum of water is essential for flushing out poisons and supporting overall health. Aim to drink at least eight spectacles of water daily to help maintain proper hydration and support your body's detoxification processes.
Limit Alcohol Consumption Alcohol can weaken the vulnerable system and contribute to Candida overgrowth. Minimize or avoid alcohol consumption, particularly beer and wine, which frequently contain high quantities of sugar that can fuel incentive growth.
Identify Food perceptivity Candidiasis can be associated with food perceptivity or disinclinations. Certain foods may spark inflammation and complicate symptoms. Consider keeping a food journal to identify any implicit food triggers and exclude them from your diet. Common lawbreakers include gluten, dairy, soy, and reused foods.
Support Liver Function The liver plays a pivotal part in detoxification. To support its function, incorporate liver-friendly foods similar as lush flora, cruciferous vegetables( broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts), beets, carrots, and failures. These foods contain antioxidants and nutrients that help cleanse the liver and aid in poison elimination.
Manage Stress habitual stress weakens the vulnerable system and disrupts the microbial balance in the body, making it more susceptible to Candida overgrowth. Practice stress- operation ways like contemplation, deep breathing exercises, yoga, or engaging in pursuits to promote overall well- being and reduce the threat of candidiasis.
Flash back, while salutary changes can be salutary, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional for a comprehensive treatment plan. They can give substantiated guidance and address any beginning health issues contributing to candidiasis.https://rb.gy/mt8bj

Killing with Kindness
Sharing is caring, but it can also be deadly. Here, we see small spheres on the surface of fungus Candida parapsilosis. These are vesicles: membrane bubbles that allow cells to share. One cell wraps up molecules in vesicles and releases them into the world; another captures and absorbs them. Researchers have shown that different Candida species use vesicles to help each other establish human infections. Using this route, the fungi swap proteins that help them to form biofilms – aggregates of cells embedded in a slimy matrix. When fungi grow this way, they can tolerate antifungal drugs, making their infections harder to treat and deadlier. Scientists found that supplying Candida vesicles to a strain lacking the proteins needed to form biofilms allowed it to produce the structure. This sharing likely happens in the human body too. If we can stop the generosity of these fungi, we may be able to better treat their infections.
