Texas Paintbrush Castilleja indivisa is native to Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. Like the Indian Paintbrush that I'm more familiar with in the Colorado high country, it is hemiparasitic. The blue flowers are Texas Bluebonnets Lupinus texensis.
