so many of you talk about the cruel adults in your childhood that negatively effected you and caused lifelong insecurity yet you're still perfectly fine with being that mean stranger to any kid that has the misfortune of existing around you and thats just really gross !!!

#like i get kids can be overwhelming for a various amount of reasons but its not going to kill you to treat children with basic human decency #adults can be just as overwhelming or annoying—if not more. yet if you talked to an another adult the same way you do to a kid #then ppl would fucking hate you and not want to be around you because youre not being cool and witty—youre just mean!!!#everyone has experienced the frustration of being a kid being mistreated by an adult. some more than others #rather its ignoring your bodily autonomy (from sa and assault to hugging you when you don't want to be touched to not letting you #make your own harmless choices like a haircut or whatever). everyone has been talked down to or had their opinion treated like its nothing #or that their thoughts or input doesn't matter. everyone has a childhood experience with a mean or judgemental adult #yet over and over ppl are fine just repeating that cycle of abuse and hatred #like youre a young adult and youre still getting treated like shit by older ones. but youre able to have a drink or you graduated or smthn #so now you feel like you earned that right to be judgemental & angry & mean to a group of people that didnt fucking do anything to you #anyways. this is because im sick and had to go to the store to get groceries and meds #so its a 20 minute walk to the nearest store in 108 degrees bc i dont have gas money and then in the store im ofc using a face mask #like im sweaty and feel disgusting and like shit but this kid was SO fucking excited about his spiderman toy and wanted to talk and #his mom said ‘i told you no one wants to hear about that crap leave her alone’ and like?? no fuck off let a kid be happy?? hes not fucking #doing anything wrong?? so we talked and he showed me the little tiy that lights up and asked if i saw the new spiderverse movie #and i told him i havent! so he asked why so i explained i have photosensitivity and what that means and why i cant see it #(‘even though i heard its super cool!’) and HE WAS SO SWEET... like immediately hid the toy because oh! flashing lights can hurt me!#and then immediately said dont worry because he'll tell me about it so its like i saw it instead!#and like. guys imma be honest with you. i stilm got no fucking idea what this movie's plot is.#but you bet your fucking ass i was pretending like i was following along & was going ‘no way!’ ‘so it's a parallel universe...?’ ‘oh wow!’#like yea its unnecessary. i felt oike i was gonna collapse and im still struggling to breathe at home now. but also i been the kid #who just wanted to talk about my interests and no one wanted to or was dismissing it.#i know it's not a end of the world deal but i also know that crushing feeling. you gotta be the kindness you want to see in the world yknow #anyways. be nice to kids or im not going to be nice to you. they're one of the most vulnerable members of our society and deserves kindness

It's between exploration and lore, whether that's character lore or world lore! There's something way more satisfying for me about learning about the world that the characters are in and learning the context of the world. And moreover, I don't think there's ever been a game beforehand where I found myself falling in love with the world of a game than I have in Genshin. Like I love places in this game the same way I'd fall in love with characters just because there's so much history and lore that they had put into a place and it makes it all the prettier and more satisfying to explore. Not to mention, the satisfaction of being able to pull out the pieces of the story by your own hands than to be handed it. It's super satisfying and makes me fall in love w it all the more

tank: which character do you feel is criminally underrated?

GOOD QUESTION I feel like I'm the worst person to ask this about because my "underrated" would be the faceless characters that are less talked about because you only know them if you read artifacts and books and etc.

Like I am obsessed with Rostam for example. And I'm obsessed with the Sunchildren and Clymene. I'm obsessed with Orobashi, the Princess of Sal Vindagnyr, and Imunlaukr because I love thinking about the possibilities of how their story would go/play out till its end. We're given all these pieces of their story but my god do I want to see it all play out before my eyes, but I guess that's all for my own imagination

...As for the playable and characters with actual faces, hrm... I feel like the character I rarely see talked about is...probably Kokomi? At least in terms of characters I like but is not super praised or anything. I say this but even my appreciation of Kokomi also comes from the fact I've been swimming in Enka/Watatsumi lore for like a good few months so like seeing the connections between her and her land makes me love her character more AND OH MY GOD THE WAY THEY INCLUDED ALL THE WATATSUMI LORE INTO HER CHARACTER PREVIEW???? DUDE.... ITS AMAZING and gave me more appreciation for her character pv. downright my fave pv <3

tbh all five of the kids had iconic characters and were fucking amazing in death comes to town but the real winner of this show is the bruce/scott duo. like between all their different characters they had so many scenes together and hell bruce's character was even in a love triangle where two of the other characters were both scott (tho this "triangle" had like five sides bc larry was having an affair with everyone but dusty and heather were both very prominent in that plot line). combine all this with bruce's emotional anecdote about comforting scott during treatment while filming death comes to town. their friendship was really the centerpiece of this show and i love that for them

#it's kind of a reverse of brain candy where even though dave was barely in it #the movie still feels like it's about his strain with the rest of the group #and it comes through in how scenes are written and blocked #this show is like. you can tell they care for each other so much and they just wanted to be together again #and that comes through in how pretty much every pairing you can think of with the actors happens in some scene #but especially bruce and scott is a pair that's focused on a lot #idk that's just my interpretation #but im excited to cover brain candy + death comes to town together when i do my video essays

I headcannon your fur and basically dog day’s fur to smell like human..like literally nostalgia with a hint of vanilla to help with the relaxing feeling for the others.

Since you are basically the sun around the hotel, making everyone happy and comfortable. Ima just say, you definitely have a heater in your plushy body so if it’s winter time. You can keep everyone and even your friends warm!

You rumble in your throat like some kind of purr as you just lay down by the couch of the lounge room in the hotel as residents either pet you or lay beside you.

You do head tilts confused when someone is explaining something you never had heard of before. So you just try to learn from the person so it can be a conversation.

I headcannon dogday!reader to have slight or do have adhd as dogday!reader sways while trying to stay still or mess with their paws when bored. Like reader shakes her legs when sitting as they hum a tune to pass time

You have some fluffy ass orange fur as the fur on your head also looks like hair. So basically like angel dust and how his hair looks. But in your style of course!

And lastly, I can see reader literally chasing their tail like a dog and then stopping as they stand up to their full height. Embarrassingly coughing into their hand as they try to seem professional.

I headcannon Charlie to give you half the tasks as she can see you are working a “little bit” too hard. She only wants you to not overwork yourself. She sees you as a leader as well, but doesn’t want to put pressure on you.

When Lucifer met you, immediately he was petting you with a soft expression. Hell, he even made you a duck a few days later that had dog ears and a sun pendent on it. You smile and made a duck wallet for Lucifer.

Basically you and Lucifer had a gift and receiving friendship as Charlie was happy you and her father was getting along.

For Charlie=sunshine, vaggie= my sun, Alastor=sunny, Lucifer= sunset, nifty=crazy shine, Pentious= my lovely sun, and finally husk= sunbeam

Now for Angel, you call him Angel…but the way you say it makes Angel smile as it felt like you actually made a nickname for him instead of his name. (Might sound dumb but it’s very cute imo🦆)

I can Imagine a resident was messing with you as you had your head down sad with your tail tucked between your legs. And Alastor popped up beside you with a strained smile as he threatened the resident to leave the hotel or he will broadcast them for his next radio show.

Alastor brought you in his next broadcast as he talked about any subject as you just wag your tail happy to be by the radio demon

I can see the hazbin hotel crew being like “I only talked to that dog for a second, and I’ll kill myself before anyone hurts him.” As you just stand in the background chasing a demon butterfly.

I headcannon the crew being overprotective on your innocence because of how innocent and naive you are based on cuss words. Like angel dust made a comment on how you never cursed before and all you said was, “what’s a cuss word?” ALL HELL BROKE LOSE AS EVERYONE DEATH GLARED ANGEL DUST-

So now if someone curses they just cover your ears as you nibble on a sandwich husk slide over to you.

I imagine sir Pentious literally snuggling against your fur with a doe eyes expression as his egg boiz comment how soft and good you smell as you wag your tail and hug them all. Your love language is definitely all and above, but the most one is touch.
