Okay, I might have misunderstood something, so was it *actually* confirmed that Jedidiah's father's death was caused *solely* by learning the forbidden rebirth knowledge? I know we got that whole long scene with the clock and the body, and Jedidiah later says that learning the forbidden knowledge was how his father passed, but do we get legitimate confirmation of that being the truth?

Cause for all we know, I feel like his father could have passed of something completely unrelated and Jedidiah just blamed himself in his grief-stricken state.

Remember when Sydney said that the weekday he will die on always changes? That actually makes so much sense considering that we still dont 100% know what Jedidiah did to revive Sydney AND what he might be still doing to keep him alive. There is a possibility that Sydney is pretty short-lived the way he is, and that Jedidiah has to do *something* every once in a wile to keep Sydney alive for longer. If that is the case, obviously the day Sydney would die on would change anytime Jedidiah did whatever it is that lengthens Sydney’s life span.

Okay hear me out. Camp Here and There x Locked Tomb AU. I’m thinking two possible avenues:

1.) Sydney as necromancer of the ninth house and Jedidiah as cavalier of the ninth house. I know Jedidiah does necromancy in canon but ssshhhhh Sydney is much more TLT!Necro-coded. The rest of the characters are necro/cav pairs at Canaan house, Elijah takes the place of Teacher (religious little freak of a man), plays out similarly to GTN but instead Sydney dies to make Jedidiah a lyctor instead of the cav dying to make the necro a lyctor. OH MY GOD LUCILLE IS JOD that’s awful and I love it. Jedidiah,,, also lobotomizes himself to save Sydney and Sydney. Reacts similarly to how Gideon does in HTN. Adam maybe takes Alecto’s spot? Also Rowan and Juniper read incredibly close to Abigail/Magnus for me. Instead of “horrible bees” the resurrection beasts are centipedes.

I’m also tempted to place Elijah in Blood of Eden… oh god what would his BOE name be.

2.) this one is harder to parse out but it feels right in my heart… Jedidiah as Jod and Sydney as Alecto. Idk where literally anyone else falls as far as characters but it feels right in my soul.

YAYAYAY ALRIGHT !!!

Hmmmm I need to listen to chnt in like one sitting someday so i can say what ALL of my favorite episodes are but some of them are

Episode 3 (i think that episode is just sydney and the late night/evening/ghost recorder announcement thingys (I could be wrong about what episode 3 is abt though bc when I was trying to relisten to chnt at 3am today I realized I didnt reset some of the episodes so some of them started playing in the middle or the end))

Episode 5 - The part where sydney makes jedidiah do the opposite day announcements is so fucking funny to me and jedidiah is so me for that like he asked "how granular are you supposed to be about this" and tbh that would totally be something I'd ask

okay theres a huge gap here bc i forgot a lot of the middle episodes 💔 but 100% the episodes where soren appears because i feel like there werent enough episodes with him speaking I really do hope he appears in s2 for longer amounts of time

Episode 24 - A mediation session episode!!!!!! this episodes pretty nice its with sydney salem and jedidiah, everytime I hear jedidah say "I dont see you as a nuisance, sydney." and then sydney goes "or a thing to avoid?" I can imagine jedidiahs argument failing and giving up like that one ant image

Episode 27 - the clock of meantime the clock of MEANTIME THE CLOCK OF MEANTIME THE

By far one of my favorite episodes, i may be biased bc jedidiahs my favorite character and he talks a lot in that episode but the entire episode the part were sydney talks and then it goes to jedidiah and in general minus the part where elijah shows up the episode is like amazing I could listen to it over and over i think i listened to it like 8 times i forgot !!! but like its getting to the point where I can recite certain parts of the episode off of memory

Episode 30 - that mediation session with joshua, yvonne and jedidiah is so funny to me, I like all of the mediation session episodes but this one has got to be my favorite mediation session episode

ALSO episode uhh was it 32 or 33/34??? whatever the ending episode is where jedidiah finds out that elijah is the elephant man, also jedidiahs use of magic intrigues me, I hope we get to figure out more of that in s2

S2 IS GONNA COME OUT IN LIKE A FEW MONTHS IM SO FUCKING EXCITED FOR THAT EAHGHRWJ

hair braiding hc under the readmore.

when they were little jeddie started braiding syd's hair just to have something to do with his hands but by the time they got to college he got really good at it and was able to do elaborate braids and stuff and he would do sydneys hair a lot and claimed it was to "keep it out of his face" but really its bc he likes playing with sydneys hair :}

but then sydney fell into the coma (idk if that's the right terminology???) and then jeddie wasn't able to both emotionally and physically (elijah stopping him from entering the room) braid his hair and then before he revived sydney he did a simple braid out of kindness towards him

AND THEN. jeddie avoiding syd time !!! :( because his hair is so long and thick it's difficult for him to do his hair on his own and the other counselors aren't as good as jeddie at braiding syd's hair so it got pretty messy and tangly :( and if jeddie accidentally caught sydney attempting to braid his own hair he'd have to leave the room because he'd feel horrible all over again etc etc BUT NOW HAPPY ENDING sydney lets jeddie braid his hair again :) hooray for happy endings

MAJOR CHNT file 33 spoilers!!

Someone tell me if I’m overthinking this. How was Elijah planning to get down from the pyre? Was Elijah planning to get down from the pyre? Why did Elijah opt to record his sermon for future listeners… “I will make you eternal, our perfect Muse, relaxed forever upon the Pyre. And for all time, my followers and their descendents will witness and revere you.” He left out himself, “followers and descendants”, he left out himself… is that anything. Is that. And the tower was so high up— it was TALL. The fall injured him badly, there’s no way he planned to voluntarily do that- jump from it, I mean. It was surrounded by flames so he couldn’t have just climbed down either??? He was up there with Sydney, beside Sydney the whole time… hmm… hmm :(

How was he planning to get down? :(

CAMP HERE AND THERE SPOILERS

i think sydney is kept alive by being near the death fields (or something similar at least). we know he died and then was revived by jedidiah, and we know he can't leave the camp otherwise he becomes too sick to walk. i think this man is literally rotting like the animals described here, which explains a lot of his illnesses and also the tiny plants that grow from his fingers. please keep in mind i'm only up to file 4 on my first relisten so i could be completely wrong, those are just my current thoughts
