Imagine an alternate timeline where Asa is telling off Rick with no interruptions... what does he say?? 👀

ooooh, truthfully i don't think he would tell him off. from talking to finn and revisiting his old memories, asa developed this idea of richard in his mind – a powerful, scary, imposing man who you wouldn't dare stand up to. yet the richard he met was a sad, small, tired old man who can barely hear and can be talked down by his wife with almost no push back. the only threat he poses anymore is purely emotional. and in that moment, asa realized that he had always been this way, it's just that finn was a child and so his dad seemed larger than life and all-powerful. but asa isn't scared of him. so he said exactly what he wanted to say to richard and not a word more. it may seem like he held back, but he didn't. here's what i mean:

"This is my phone number. If you want to talk about him. [...] I think you're a bad person and it's not fair you got to live a long life while Griffin didn't." <- none of the same appeasing words he offered towards lucy, because he no longer needs anything from either of them, so he doesn't care how he comes across. the only conversation he will entertain is one about finn.

"But he loved you, and I don't want him to have lived in a world where you took his life." <- this is the real crux of it. he knows it wouldn't make finn feel any better for asa to talk shit about / to his dad, so asa won't do it (whether finn is around to hear it or not). finn has his own feelings about his childhood, his parents, and who may have killed him, but he deeply appreciates that asa has never tried to insert his own opinions in there. it means he can vent about his feelings without needing to sugar coat anything or defend his parents the way he would feel compelled to do if asa ever trash talked them.

it's the same reason why asa feels massively guilty any time he googles finn's name, reads about his case, pries for more information than finn is willing to give, etc. visiting finn's parents without his permission is a huge betrayal and he wouldn't do it unless he was absolutely sure it would lead to rescuing him. he's not going to make things worse by going off on richard too.

but that leads to: "So prove to me that you didn't [kill Finn]." <- asa desperately hopes richard isn't the one who did it, because finn would never recover from that knowledge. he's paralyzed by fear at the idea of finding out who did kill him, because as long as he doesn't know, he can imagine it was anyone else. asa would love nothing more than to be able to put those worries at ease. if richard can prove his innocence, asa will hear him out.

"Well, maybe you can't. I guess we'll see." <- asa is goading him into action. a man like richard doesn't appreciate being challenged, and asa knows that.

so i would say that asa already did tell him off without interruptions! it wasn't a brutal roast or anything, but he said what he had always wanted to say and chose not to waste any more time or energy on him. which is kind of a slay 😌

Hi! I’ve been following you for probably 3 years? I never read your story in full because I felt like I was already so far behind when I tried reading it the first time. I know the very beginning is very gameplay-esque I was wondering where I should start so I understand the lore and story properly? I don’t want to miss anything! I am always so amazed at the way you edit your story posts and the writing! So I really want to deep dive and finally read everything 😭 sorry it took me this long!! Writing this on anon cus I’m shy and a little embarrassed tbh ><

hey!! don't be embarrassed, i'm not judging in the slightest. i'm more aware than anyone else how crazyy long my story is. but sadly there's not a great place to start reading without missing things :( but here's a summary of the main plot points that become relevant later on:

rosie camellia (right) is a college student from brindleton bay, studying archaeology abroad in selvadorada. she meets isa delavina (left), an author and the great-granddaughter of madre cosecha, the scientist who founded selvadorada. she ends up showing rosie the hidden temple, they fall in love, start dating, move in together, etc.

now stick with me. rosie has 4 younger brothers, both are pairs of twins. michael and jack were teenagers at the time, but owen and isaac were very young toddlers. anyway, so michael shows up in selvadorada and breaks the news that their moms, genevieve (left) and reece (right), were in a car accident and both of them are dying. rosie rushes back home, leaving isa behind.

gen and reece die. [you'll see them as ghosts much later on.] rosie gets custody of all 4 brothers. isa moves to brindleton bay to support rosie and they eventually get married. michael & jack go away to college. owen (right) & isaac (left) were so young that they consider rosie and isa their moms, which is how they will always view them going forward. [the only brother who is really important is owen, because he will be stevie's dad.]

using IVF, isa becomes pregnant with caroline. while she's pregnant, her old friend from selvadorada, eva vasquez, shows up with a baby of her own, beth!!! 💖

as it turns out, eva had to escape an abusive relationship with beth's father, so she turned to isa and rosie for help. she eventually moves in next door. beth (right) loves to play with owen and isaac, and when caroline (left) is born, they become the best of friends immediately.

the last thing you need to know is about caroline. she'll become the main character so she's super important. the day she's born, we get our first bit of true plot in the form of a letter from isa. it's a recounting of caroline's birth written in the future. she talks about why they named her caroline (after the song sweet caroline started playing on the radio), about how the huge storm subsided as soon as she was born, and finally, she writes: "We miss you, we love you, and we need you to come home. Please, please come home, Caroline." so caroline's entire childhood and teen years are clouded by the knowledge that at some point in the future, she will lose contact with her family, though we don't know how or why or when.

now you can start reading from around this point, although there's still plenty of cringe left before i really hit my stride 😭 i'm sorry, it's just the nature of working on the same story since 2018 and learning as i go. i hope if you decide to give it a shot, you'll be able to find some value in it :')

Cuphead is very smug and he does the most dumb shit you'll ever look at. Hes also severely stubborn and reckless. He's very childish and impulsive. Has adhd. Aroace and 20 years old. He's currently working secretly for the devil.

Mugman is really silly. He is usually the voice of reason and often gets Cup out of trouble. Is usually ticked off at his antics but does anything to help him. Also has the triple a battery pack (adhd autism anxiety). Bi, genderfluid, and 18 years old. Working with cup!!

Chalice (19yo), however, hasn't met with either them since they were kids. She is unable to become her normal self like she could as a kid and is hiding away. She's not alive but not what we could consider dead either.

Sooo...Camila and Stellar were made by Tails in a lab or did someone got pregnant?

Stellar was made in a lab by the government with the intention of replicating and improving upon Project Shadow. She is basically a living weapon that is being raised by Sonic and Shadow as their daughter. They weren't even romantically involved when Stellar was created, but her existence sort of forced them to collide and work together to take care of her. They slowly fell for each other while figuring out how to be parents.

Contrastingly, Camellia was made with the power of modern medicine, and Amy was the one who carried her to term! She and Blaze had been together for a long while before deciding to have a baby, and Camellia is the result!

Stellar is actually a bit older than Camellia, like by one or two years. Amy kind of got baby fever after seeing Stellar, and wanted to have her own with Blaze! I might give Camellia a sibling in the future, I'm still undecided.

I should also mention that Knuckles and Rouge are together as well in this AU, and they have two kids themselves. Not only that, but I plan on designing them, too, at some point!

Hi! So yes- I have this one…

Buuuut yknow looking back it’s really old and I have kinda changed up his design a bit- and it’s insanely long for a reference “sheet”-

So I made ANOTHERONE :D

And since I also need to give more of his lore, that will be below 👇 (And also responding to other asks I’ve gotten that relates to this)

1) So first off Swap was the one who was really wanted a child. He asked Dream about it, and Dream agreed.

2) Buut they didn’t reallly know how to-( I realized most of these guys are made accidentally lol ), but before going to ask for help they still tried to do it on their own.

3) They took a little bit of their magic, barely enough to affect them, literally pushed these two magical flames together and boom it made a green little flame!1!

4) and that’s literally all it was(for a while), just a green flame, didn’t have a face or anything and it seemed rather small. They left it to grow for about a month and it did grow a bit, developing into an imperfect soul. This soul was relatively smaller than the average monster’s soul, and a tiny part of it was chipped off. They didn’t worry too much, thinking it was still growing, but this was the stopping point for this soul, it didn’t grow anymore and showed no signs that this soul would be able to develop its own body.

5) Now both of them a bit worried, they went to Ink for help cause like who else would they go to- Ink doesn’t really know exactly how to make these guys either, but they all tried to think of ideas of what was the problem and how to fix it.

6) Ink came up with an idea to create a body for the soul to control and Swap and Dream agreed with his idea.

7) The idea worked and the end Swap and Dream got their baby!!!

And regarding these asks I’ve had- for a while—

I took so long because I didn’t know myself- I never really considered what he was like as a baby, but to answer these asks, Yes- for a short while he was a little light-flame thingy technically, but it was a bit different. Since Camellia really doesn’t have his own body, when he was just this little ball of magic he didn’t have a face or anything, it was literally just a ball of magic, then later this magic grew into a soul rather than a soulless being.

And then once he did get this body, it just somehow magically grows with him IDK-I didn’t know how to make this part really work-out so it’s just magic and imagination at this point x(

So yes- he was both technically a litol ball and a skele

Whats the lambs opinion on the OTHER bishops

Heket - They do not like her. Heket was a force of nature that posed at the makeshift "leader" of the Bishops after Shamura was "forcibly retired" due to sudden and significant lack of brain, and therefore the face of the whole lamb-killing situation in revent era. They blame her for, a lot. Also she is the reason their only true friend is dead, so. There is that.

If she wasn't Leshy's favorite sibling, they would have "forgotten" to recruit her, and left her to die

Kallamar - Thinks he's weak and a coward. Their battle took no time at all and the only hit they took was by one of Kallamar's minions, so they see him as a trembling coward hiding behind the might of his siblings. They have no respect for this man.

Shamura - Grudgingly respects them. They aren't exactly friends, but they both recognize skill when they see it. They make an effort to show Shamura kindness, especially because becoming "mortal" clearly made thinking and remembering even more difficult than it already was

They aren't happy with Shamura making them kill their own cultists, which they hated doing, but they also at this point have gotten used to the knowledge that the Bishops will do this shit, so the surprise that makes their anger fester just doesn't exist anymore

Narinder - Complicated thoughts, but less hostile towards him bc honestly his actions were those of a victim in a trapped situation. Overall... Mostly indifferent until he saw him interacting with Aym and Baal when he thought the Lamb wasn't around. He is clearly their dad and they feel a kind of sympathy for him and the clusterfuck that is his family dynamic right now

Bonus:

Aym and Baal - awkwardly fond of the lil guys. Sees them as another addition to the pack of grown-up cult kids and they are genuinely adorable. Their heart HURT when they saw how disoriented those boys were when dealing with sounds, colors, plants, and people. They make it a point to teach them about anything they don't understand

I'm glad it didn't turn into lost media, because to me lost media is like my horror recommendations list

Fr, like Moral Orel speaks so much truth about shit that normally no one would even talk about. We, as Moral Orel fans, know this. The problem with not religion itself but the hypocrisy of the people that follow it is what's the show is about. I know there are people who talk about the show much better than I could possibly so check out those videos on yt.

Oh and I agree with you on the whole 'lost media' thing because I too believed that lost media is a horror form created not by those who actually believe in media that was actually lost, but those who turned it into somewhat of a creepypasta story. I don't really mind those because I loved those when I was a kid. However, it kinda gives actual lost media a bad rep in a way (maybe?). But that's just what i think.
