I find it strange that Callisto Protocol has such a strong focus on melee combat when I can’t think of a faster way to make a monster not scary than being able to effectively beat the shit out if it in melee combat. Melee should be a absolute last resort in a horror game.

In Dead Space if you ran out of ammo and were trying to melee necromorphs to death you were pretty much fucked, especially on the harder difficulties.
