Not me watching horror movies and immediately thinking: Call the Winchester's.
And if someone is injured or in a coma: Call Cas, Hannah or some other angel to fix it.
Call Death to negotiate if someone dies. Or kill it. Whatever it suits you.
And... well... I usually forget to be scared of monsters now because there's nothing a bit of salt, or holy water can't fix. Among other stuff, ofc.
Now I sleep better knowing they're going to fight those monsters. So, I'm not afraid of them.
Unless...
But yeah, just another Thursday...
Or Tuesday? You guys get the point.

last night i watched the first episode in supernatural and within 10 minutes i put it on pause because in NO way, through the 15 seasons, should anyone be happy with how dean's story ends with him dying whilst hunting
because in the 10 minutes that ive learnt about him is that he's spent his entire life fighting, and he dies FIGHTING
no satisfying narrative ends like that, especially not for one thats run for 15 years

I fucking hate when we say Dean would've never given up on that rusty rebar if Cas was alive, he'd keep fighting, and are being called delusional shippers because it's a fact that has NOTHING TO DO WITH SHIPPING!!! You don't have to believe Dean and Cas were madly in love (even tho they were duh) to know Cas had always been Dean's hope and faith. You can LITERALLY SEE IT ONSCREEN throughout those 12 seasons. Every time Dean loses Cas he also completely loses hope and his will to live. Cas was an angel that pulled him out of Hell. That looked him straight in the eye and said you matter, you deserve to be saved. That saw through all his facades, saw the good and the ugly and NEVER judged Dean for the ugly. Dean had such a shitty self-esteem but the sense of "I must be worth at least something if an angel of the Lord bothered to save me from the Pit" must have lingered at the back of his head (even if at times he refused to believe it). So yeah, Dean's it's okay I'm ready to die in that atrocious finale is directly connected to him losing Cas permanently. And seeing and acknowledging that has zero to do with shipping.

“You really want someone to fuck?” The bluntness and crass wording he used gave you pause. His voice was gruff, and for once, he didn’t look you in the eyes. He stared hard at your knees, jaw set, waiting for your response.
“Huh? I mean, yeah, I’m long past ready, but —”
“Let me.”
“Um,” you stuttered, unable to stop your jaw from dropping a little. “What?” you laughed nervously, as if you hadn’t been dreaming of him saying this since you met.
“Let me.” Dean finally looked up, and you could tell he was deadly serious.
Your mind was screaming at you to say yes on the spot, but you forced yourself not to jump at the opportunity. “And what’s gonna happen if I do?”
“Then, I’ll fuck allll that innocence, and that snarky attitude of yours, right outta ya’, and I can promise you, darlin’, you’ll always remember your first as your best.” He was still serious, but now, you noticed a little twinkle in the corner of his eyes.
