Preview

“So,” Angela started, Tim was preparing his and Lucy’s dinner. He was going to take her out to the woods tonight to begin helping her with her transition, but he wanted to make sure she was well-fed first. “How’s Lucy?”

“Good, she’s settling in well,” Tim answered.

“Right,” Angela nodded. “Are you gonna tell me what that whole macho man thing was?” She has known Tim for a very long time, perhaps longer than anyone else in the pack, and she can't help but notice the subtle changes in his demeanor. From the moment she spoke with Tim that night in the woods, Angela sensed a shift in his demeanor, a quiet fascination that seemed to grow with each passing day.

She remembered that night the way Tim's eyes had lit up when he spoke of Lucy, his voice betraying a depth of feeling that he had kept hidden from the rest of the pack. In that moment, Angela had known that Tim's feelings for Lucy were more than just fleeting, that there was something more profound at play.

Now, as she watches Tim interact with Lucy, Angela can't help but feel a sense of warmth and admiration for her friend. She sees the way Tim's eyes light up whenever Lucy is near, the subtle glances and gestures that betray his growing fondness for the newest member of the pack. And though Tim may not yet realize the full extent of his feelings, Angela knows it's only a matter of time before he admits the truth.

So I started wathcing the rookie and does anyone see the similarities.....?

I just received a Zoom Holiday Party invite from Caleb Wright and almost had a heart attack.

Until I realized that it wasn’t from the great beyond and I wasn’t being terrorized by Rosalind’s ghost, no.

My Caleb is a former favorite colleague that I worked with 13 years ago. Whew.

Caleb: Hi Lucy! it's me! Lucy: oh h- Tim: You got a last name? Caleb: sure! it's Wright! with a W Lucy: th- Tim: what do you do for work? Lucy: >:(

The long way around to nowhere in particular but wherever their feet could take them took Alex's mind off the chaos of life. Which was the sum total of absolutely everything having gone to shit. There was no corner of his existence that complications did not occupy, that fear and worry had not taken root. He wondered often when a day of reprieve might come, but as problems piled up Alex lost hope that there would ever be one. Perpetually damned to fail, no matter how hard he tried. Unable to impress, help, or protect any of those he had vowed to do just that. After the resurrection, he'd fall from their family's favor. The town, his coven, was in disarray. Division rang from every rooftop, and he wondered how long they had until dissent filled the streets.

"Oh wow... look at that bird! You ever seen one that color?"

In the trees, nestled so close to the coast Alex could hear the waves, he was a young man again. Though he hadn't been close to his brother then. Time changed everything, and some of those things were good. In a forest of fantasy, or so he allowed himself to believe, reality's responsibilities faded into the hum of nature. There was a deep healing to be found in the Earth. As a healer, Alex had always felt its vibration. So much stronger than he could ever be and unencumbered by such trivial human things like grief, fear, and shame. A part of him thought he could stay here forever, wandering unmarked trails, watchings pretty birds sing.

"...tell me you didn't miss that squirrel! The chunkiest fella I've ever seen.." Alex continued, wondering allowed. "Maybe we're in for a rough winter.."

watching the rookie and oh shit. this went from fun to some fucking traumatizing shit real fucking fast.

An unfortunate trend I’ve been seeing in my blorbos from recent fandoms

EDIT: Some important clarification below on the characters tagged in the og post

While this is obviously open to interpretation to any fandoms/ocs, all but one of the ‘B’ characters I tagged was referring to personal headcanons on their dynamic with A and their initial reactions (so roughly the first few months of A’s disappearance). Over time, I do believe a lot of them eventually learn to move on and/or develop healthy coping mechanisms. 

That being said unhealthy co-dependancies are narratively engaging to others as well so go wild in the reblog tags.

Dilan was finally out of the hellish Queen Elizabeth costume and back in her welly thought out and picked clothing. Grabbing the box from her dressing room that was a thank you present for Caleb since he’d put on this event without any help. Inside the box was a tassel that had a C on it, a ghost, I heart bad girls, a paw print, a pink ball, and a stack of pancakes keychain hanging off of it. Holding the box with two hands as she walked towards the area and spotted Caleb on his horse, she instinctively rolled her eyes. “Are you just going to ride around on this thing all weekend?” She asked once she got to him and was annoyed she had to look up to talk to him. “If you can be pried away from your horse for a moment or two and come back to earth, I might have a present for you.” She informed him as she gestured to the box. “Up to you tho, because I guess I could give it away to someone else but it wouldn’t make much sense to them.” She replied as she took a step back slowly to give him time. “Plus I might have made it epically for you.” She added quietly under her breath with a huff. “You know since you did such a good job with the event.”
