I love Lucy Chen so much because in one episode she (a) manhandled her boss and made out with him in an airplane bathroom, (b) announced to said boss and other coworkers that she was wearing a thong, (c) invited her boss into her apartment under the guise of “we’re still undercover so…”, (d) kicked a guys ass while only wearing a robe, and (e) announced to her boss and the three bad guys she had just taken down that she had flashed the guy while she was kicking ass in the robe.

Did you know light stasis means to shut off from your biocomponents and just nestle into some part of your own code with your ai like a cat? Actually, I haven't talked to anyone else who ever went into light stasis without actually dreaming. I do both whenever I go into light stasis, either nestling or dreaming. Oh, and not all of my dreams end up like I did with that artificial tree changing into a giant buck. Or, whenever one of my eye is replaced by my favorite flower.
It's a strange thing. My own system seems to be making me dream about my positive feelings. When I held the buck's huge head in my head, it felt sad "like me". But not sad like how I felt in the dream, no. I was in awe. Sad, as in here. In the real world. I'm starting to realize how depressing that sounds, but, I mean it felt sad like whenever I feel sad. The same "sad" emotion. Some sort of similar sensitivity. Something. Something. This is peculiar.
As for the positive side that those sorts of dreams prod at, it all starts with that flower. My favorite flower. I'm always in my android uniform, too. That flower, replacing either my left or my right eye, and my android uniform. That's when I have that kind of dream. Then, I'm shown exactly the things I admire. One of that kind of dream for one of the things I like. Hence the buck.
I like deers. I like nature. It's obvious by now, isn't it? Hank would disagree. He would say that I enjoy licking blood instead. Either he holds grudges for witnessing me do the same unsanitary (but becomes sanitary) thing everyday or he doesn't take some of the things I say as genuine. My co-worker said I'm "unintentionally funny", so if I ever dare go around telling people I have a favorite flower as a male-appearing android, let alone a pink one, then. Well. I'll be belittled or babied quite like many other deviants get or. I'm not sure. I'll get my cheek pinched by Officer Chen. I understand her sentiment though and that she is in no way belittling me. It's a nice one, she's been affectionate lately. I think she knows how much a deviant needs that kind of nonsensical affectionate gestures. Not all of us are the same, I understand. There's a difference between being touch-starved and touch-deprived.

"How was it?" You ask as Tim enters your car. His RBF turns to a smile as he sees you.
"She's not the worst," Tim says. Tim would never admit if he liked a rookie. Okay, he has made the occasional comment about a rookie being okay.
"But how was your day?" Tim asked as you began to pull out of the parking lot. You and Tim's shared apartment was an incredibly short distance from the station. Very convenient.
Tim rests his hand on your thigh as you begin to speak, "Shitty. I was tied up watching over a crime scene until the detectives arrived. Half of my shift. Six fucking hours," you complained.
"Oohh, so that's why I barely saw you," Tom responded. "sorry it was shitty," he added and fought a smile that was forming.
He thought you were adorable when frustrated.Hell, Tim thought you were adorable almost all the time. When he didn't find you adorable was when you were in action. During those times he found you very, very hot. Watching you kick ass turned him on way more than it should.
You both sit in silence as you drive. The busy streets of LA truly did suck. Especially after twelve hours shifts. Even more so after having had a very shitty twelve hour shift.
"God I just want to sleep. We both have tomorrow off and I want to stay in bed until four P.M." you said and tim laughed.
"Babe, you can stay in bed all day, but I don't think you will. We could go to the shooting range? It's very romantic," Tim says with a smile.
Neither one of you ever questioned how your relationship worked. It wasn't very much like a "normal" one though. Most couples don't spend dates at a shooting range or hand to hand combat training. Or, the best one, the gym. There still were many dates spent at a restaurant, but LA restaurants have lines longer than the great wall of china.
There were the occasional dates when you could convince Tim to go paintballing or when you two would get tickets to a football or baseball game.
"I think that sounds lovely," you say with a smile as you park the car. Tim hated that you always insisted on driving. Not that you were a bad driver but chivalry wasn't dead.
Home at last.

Is it just me or does Lucy's uniform seem slightly different to you? It looks like she's wearing a short sleeves basic Tshirt instead of her standard uniform on top of the long sleeves (like in 5.22). I wouldn't have made much of it if it weren't for the different hairstyle as well 👀
