AND the reasons why. like vale has an EXTREMELYYYY healthy ego and marc literally put a scene in his rookie year documentary that was a romantic monologue about vale being his friend and hero. he collected vale’s merch while actively riding against him. you would have to be a much dumber man than vale not to realize. and vale is not stupid! truly i suspect there was a vibe put forth from marc so potent that he looks back at it now and gets literally full body cringe like i do whenever i remember [REDACTED INFORMATION]. and so even if vale hasn’t realized at this point that marc is IN LOVE with him (and vice versa), he’s pretty certain he at least isn’t going to fuck CAL CRUTCHLOW. why would he? vale’s right here. and his hero. and has actually WON a championship. and marc thinks that’s hot !
