I adore the contrast between the community Chetney was in and the community he’s in now (the bell’s). Something about how he and Ashton have similar histories, if you are not strong, you are left behind. You must prove yourself. But now they’re with the Bell’s, they don’t need to prove themselves to be accepted, they just need to be there. Strength isn’t prioritized, companionship is. 

Imogen purposefully wording her answer as “taking [Chetney] down” rather than agreeing with Tiger Lady’s question of “would you put him down”, knowing that any direct disagreement would cause trouble. Because, no, I don’t think they could kill him. Not after they went to such lengths to get him back after he wolfed out under the Ruidus flare.
