About
Have you always wondered what Dr Strange and Loki do with their clones in their private time? Wished to explore the idea of Everett Ross and Yon-Rogg finding out they are reincarnations of the same person? How would Bucky feel about his Mad Hatter self from a different universe? Do you wonder what if retired Thanos, 2014 Thanos and Ravager Thanos met? Or maybe you just want to create some domestic Sylki? Then this is the event for you!
Bang Yourself Mini Bang is a bang type event where writers are paired with artists to create fanworks together. The theme of this event is all kinds of selfcest, all kinds of art is allowed, and both a reverse bang (artists submit works first) and a normal bang (writers submit works first) will be running.
Minimum requirements:
Fanfiction: 2k words.
Art: Lineart or clean sketch, depending on the style.
Edits: Finished edit or manip.
Crafts: A clear photo of a finished item.
Moodboard: 9 images.
Video: 1 minute.
Gifset: 3 gifs.

Rules
Be respectful. This is a selfcest event - we’re all a bit freaky here, so no bashing or bullying is allowed. Treat your fellow participants the way you want to be treated.
Your work must include selfcest, naturally. It doesn’t, however, have to be explicit, and if it is, please tag it properly.
Your work must be fully finished by claims but if it went above limit and you need more time, please send us an ask or a message.
Yes, you can submit multiple works. But for the sake of organization, please do them one by one. You can send us a finished piece and then start on another.
It’s fine to make works for both this event and another as long as the other event is fine with it. However, if you participate in claims and want to collaborate with someone, we ask you to not mix it with any other exchanges or bangs, so you aren’t collaborating with more than one person at once.
Older works can be submitted as long as they follow the rules, including works created for events.
Event restrictions don’t apply if you’re creating solo!

FAQ
What is selfcest?
Selfcest is romantic or sexual activity with an alternate version of oneself, such as a clone or a version of oneself from the past, future, or alternate universe.
What is allowed?
All properly tagged content that has selfcest between Marvel characters is allowed. It is also possible to include selfcest with a crossover character played by the same actor. No tags, themes, characters, or tropes are banned.
Do works have to be explicit?
No, all ratings are accepted.
What counts as selfcest?
We don’t want to overanalyze anyone’s submissions. If you feel your concept is true to the concept of “being romantically involved with another version of yourself”, then it’s good enough for us. We do throw much of doppelganger content under this umbrella. And if you’re still unsure, just send us an ask!
Can there be more than the character and their alternate selves?
Yes, you for example two versions of Peter Parker having a threesome with Deadpool, good to go.

I really don’t want my dash to become some no dissenting thought allowed hugbox but like some of the takes I’ve been seeing recently are just fully nasty? Like just outright leave a bad taste. Why in gods name are you engaging with media that makes you so angry and hurt (and like legitimately angry it seems not like sillay ‘I want to bite him’ shit??) I do not understand what is happening.

Summary: Loki becoming an Avenger had a few obvious downsides when it came to his point of view. The god regularly trying to piss them all off was basically a guarantee and sure it’d annoyed him at first when his arrows kept exploding into a puff of feathers. However once Clint quit throwing attention at the Asgardian, he’d taken things to another level. Meaning a clone or whatever of himself that is double the trouble. Unfortunately for the team, one Clint is annoying enough but luckily he considers himself pretty awesome.

Hi! I follow a lot of your R&L stuff, and I think you're really creative and talented! At the same time, you've been disparaging Rhett a lot recently, and it seems a little cruel. When someone is creating something about their personal journey breaking free from something toxic that still surrounds them in a lot of ways, it's probably a really personal journey, and I can see why it would have been hard to share. Calling him cruel things isn't really spreading kindness or mythicality. BYMB!

Oh man, I feel for them. Obviously this sucks for us Mythical Beasts, especially those of us who had to save to get tickets, reschedule things around the event and stay up till ungodly o'clock for something that didn't even happen.
But this is on Moment House, not Mythical/Rhett & Link.
Yeah, I'm gutted, ridiculously tired and super frustrated on their behalf. I hope they find a time to reschedule GME because I know they were looking forward to it just as much as we were.
This still fucking blows though, oh well.
Hope y'all get some good rest and treat yourselves after dealing with this chaos.
