guys I just noticed this on the left is Dr. Frank-N-Furter from Rocky Horror and on the right is Mike Wheeler’s main s4 outfit the triangle over the heart on the left was historically used to indicate people as gay and has now become frequent lgbt imagery (e.g. in Robin’s shirt) this is making me crack upppp

ok i don't know if anyone has pointed this out yet but here's my intake regarding this parallel between vickie/random ass bf/robin and will/el/mike
(if u don't want to read all of it just read the bolded texts, it'll still make sense)
so
here we have robin looking dishevelled because she just witnessed her crush (being vickie) kiss a guy. notice how she is clear and in complete and utter view whilst vickie and bf are blurred....
moving on to the el reunion. both shots are the exact same it's actually hilarious. but notice how silly lil william is in between both mike and el like robin is between vickie and bf as shown in shot above but WILL IS BLURRED opposed to robin being clear (could this be because the mileven reunion was meant to be climatic because of the cali mission? possibly, but we're being delousional here so yolo)
literally all of them are in the exact same position, complementing the parallel.
will = robin
el = EX BF
mike = vickie
both will and robin are confirmed gay. they both yearn for the person on the right (robin for vickie, will for mike) vickie broke up with her bf (he also visited her for summer break just like mike visited el) and it seems that robin and vickie are getting set up for a romance as shown in end of s4.
could this mean that both couples in front won't work out? el is unhappy with mike as we can see at the end of S4 e9 we're even told by mike that they have not been talking. if, hypothetically speaking, el and mike break up, mike will go for the person he has always known to be the best decision of his life — will. this parallel could set us up for a byler endgame (most parallels in this show are intentional)
to conclude and make shit less complicated, robin is in clear shot because she is canonically lesbian and has come out where as will has not (yet), hence why he is blurred out.
hopefully this makes sense!

Guys when was the moment in the show you first sensed Byler
For me it was way back in 2017 when they said Crazy Together I went okayy this could actually happen in a couple seasons and then the season 3 rain fight kind of confirmed it but it still just felt like a theory. And then in S4 when El said “Will is painting a lot I think there is someone he likes” I went BAM I WAS RIGHT
Anyway tell me the moments that made you start suspecting byler. What scene made it Cross your Mind?
I also really wanna know at what point the Duffers told the actors about byler like when exactly did they tell Noah Schnapp to start acting in love with Mike?

no, bc its the fact that will has been invisible his entire life and the only one who cares for him deeply (besides his family) is mike. the bond they have is stronger than it is with dustin or lucas. so when mike starts dating el, will is invisible again. he probably realized he is gay between s2 and s3 and its the fact thay he knows no one can ever love him because the world is so unaccepting and unfair and he cant be with the one he loves and so he hates himself for allowing these feelings so he stares into the window full of emptiness telling himself that he will never be good enough
