everytime i go back to see s4 byler scenes they always make it even more clear in my mind that byler is endgame

Will is drawing Mike in class, not paying attention to anything the teacher is saying, and the teacher catches on. The teacher takes the drawing and shows the whole class. After that people started making fun of Will and call Mike his boyfriend. Mike didn't know at first but when he found out he was confused and his heart felt 'weird'.

from his expression it seems either hes lying, bracing himself to say I love you, pained to say I love you, or doesn't want to say it...none of those are good signs. in the context of the scene those are the only explanations that make sense and since Mikes not confirmed to be autistic then we can use basic body language analysis and read his micro expressions as they are, plus its acting 😂. I think this is decent proof.

The little women parallels are some of the biggest pieces of evidence for byler endgame to me. They didn’t have the rink-o-mania scene parallel to the ice skating scene for no reason 

Byler is for sure endgame and it really isn’t even a question anymore at this point, as there is just so much proof of byler being cannon like way too much for it all to just be a coincidence. Like there is the whole when blue meets yellow in the west and someone even mentioned how even Will’s room is yellow and how Mike’s is blue like, the duffer brothers are making all of this really obvious at this point. I would be surprised if byler ISN’T cannon in season 5 sense there has truly been so much evidence of it being cannon in season 5. Also why would we have 300+ page slideshow on byler evidence if it was just another dumb ship? Anyways I don’t have anything against mileven shippers. (Only toxic ones but there is toxic versions of everything really.)

MIKE WHEELER IN SEASON 4

Finn has come out and revealed some stuff here and there about what mike goes through this season. Recently, we’ve been getting a little bit more and a lot of it can be taken and applied to what happens with byler this season and their development as well as mikes own character growth. I wanted to quickly put together some of those things he has said just for the sake of it :)

“Mike also becomes very dark, but what I like is that this season he once again takes on a leadership role. Now he is more intense, he is a leader and he is finding himself”

“I’ll just say he’s visiting someone..”

“I think Mike like learns a lot about himself and how he sees his relationships with people and um a lot of understandment and growth”

“i think just uh kind of trying to figure themselves (mi!3v3n) out kind of whether that’s together or separate i’m not really sure”

and nothing finn said himself but something that is very suspicious and weird is gaten’s comment on where this season starts off is very um.. well watch for yourself

the hesitation before he said to visit his friend will, the way he kind of trails off at the end like getting a bit lower/quiet and then the smirk is just icing on the cake.

mike’s journey this season will be rough. it will be painful and he’s going to learn a lot about himself. change will undoubtedly be a huge factor in this season as these characters are getting older and growing up

t’s safe to say byler has a chance of happening this season not that i had much doubt before but these are all hitting on something that we’ve already picked up on for awhile. some of these are just so damn obvious that i will pick a fight with anyone that tries telling us we’re looking into it. this was very lazily put together i apologize if it seems clumpy that’s bc it is and i’m too tired to try and clean it up 😭

Mike talks to Eddie about Will, like what to do and what to say to him. Eddie tells him to write a song for Will, so of course Mike does that because he thinks that Eddie's ideas are the best and genuinely wants Will to feel loved. Obviously it doesn't go as planned and Will is just confused about the whole thing.

you know whats interesting about the heart with a crown that Will put on Mikes shield is that its missing hands...so there's no friendship symbolism just love and loyalty...so byler won't be friendship much longer I think 🤭

the only thing they said was that the episodes are not going to be as long as the ones in season 4 (which were ridiculously long thb), and that they're going back to season 1 format (with the exception of the last episode which will be longer). and season 1 didn't even have 40 min episodes, they were almost all close to an hour so idk why people are freaking out about this. AND they also said that season 5 is here to tie loose ends so it doesn't need all the exposition previous seasons had.

exactly!!! like i said, season 4 has already set the stage for a requited byler and midleven breakup. so EVEN if the episodes are 40 minutes (which i don't think they will be tbh; if anything they will be probably around an hour or a little less than that), byler happening shouldn't be an issue.

istg i've seen so many people (mostly melvins) twist what the duffers have said into somehow making it anti-byler – take the whole "no romance in s5" thing, like yeah they said that (at least i think so) but they also said something like "there won't be any "oh, who is steve with, etc etc"". so, from what i'm gathering, they mean there won't be any NEW romance – which makes sense considering a) they don't have time for that and b) they need to tie up the current endgame couples. byler isn't new, they have been here since the start. will's feelings for mike have been here since the start. so, byler will be resolved and will be endgame in season 5.

IT'S SUCH A MIKE'S POV IN LATE S3 AND EARLY S4 IT'S ALL I THINK ABOUT NOW ISTG (remember all that depression in basement after Will moved to California and it's gonna make you cry 10x harder)
