the difference between what people like on twitter vs what people like on tumblr from me is kinda mind blowing

#like this latest pic is the biggest discrepancy #people on twitter love it when i talk about the game or try to make a smart subtle commentary about it #but on tumblr people really dont seem to care or understand tf2 the game or rocket jumping or things like that- which is fine #thats why i have both #i just feel like I get more people who openly come and talk to me about that sort of thing here on tumblr #vs barely getting anything nearly as curious or engaged on twitter #yet the notes do be wilding for gaming stuff compared to here #i couldn't really tell you what does better on tumblr compared to twitter tho #but ye just interesting #i wonder what it is about twitter thats got more gaming people #its probably an age thing #this isn't me complaining btw i just see it a lot and i find it fascinating #by in large i'd assume the tumblr fanbase care more for the characters themselves and not the state of the game or how it feels to play it #Its nice to see two different sides ot a fanbase

please i love you i'm begging you bring back suspension of disbelief bring back trusting the audience like. i cannot handle any more dialogue that sounds like a legal document. "hello, i am here to talk to you about the incident from a few minutes ago, because i feel you might be unwell, and i am invested in your personal wellbeing." "thank you, i am unwell because the incident was hurtful to me due to my childhood, which was bad." I CANT!!!!

do you know how many people are mad that authors use "growled" as a word for "said"? it's just poetics! they do not literally mean "growled," it's just a common replacement for "said with force but in a low tone." it's normal! do you hear me!! help me i love you please let me out of here!!!

thinking about Nico adjusting to letting himself miss and long for the people he loves. based on these bits from the sun and the star:

Edit since a lot of people seem confused - your "real" name is the name that you want to be referred to in real life. It doesn't have to be your legal name. So if you're trans and you have a different name to whats on your birth certificate, even if not many people call you by the name, it still counts as your real name.

Secret South African documents reveal that Israel offered to sell nuclear warheads to the apartheid regime, providing the first official documentary evidence of the state's possession of nuclear weapons. The "top secret" minutes of meetings between senior officials from the two countries in 1975 show that South Africa's defence minister, PW Botha, asked for the warheads and Shimon Peres, then Israel's defence minister and now its president, responded by offering them "in three sizes". The two men also signed a broad-ranging agreement governing military ties between the two countries that included a clause declaring that "the very existence of this agreement" was to remain secret. The documents, uncovered by an American academic, Sasha Polakow-Suransky, in research for a book on the close relationship between the two countries, provide evidence that Israel has nuclear weapons despite its policy of "ambiguity" in neither confirming nor denying their existence.

AU where Leo is trapped in the Prison Dimension for months instead of minutes and the only way he gets by with his sanity intact is through recording himself talking to his wrist comm.

When they finally manage to get Leo back and make him rest up to heal, Donnie can’t help but listen to the recordings left behind.

He’s not sure what exactly he’s expecting, only that his subconscious is screaming at him that it has to be heartbreaking, that it has to be torturous.

Instead, what Donnie is subject to is a full thousand hours’ worth of Jupiter Jim and Lou Jitsu crossover fanfiction. More than one part in the series. Spanning well over a million words.

(The worst part is that it’s actually good.)
