can we like. not treat those autism (“autism”) tests (that often Shitty & at best only look for Very Specific presentation that may/may not be autism) as if ultimate authority test for all autistics. and can we not treat them like fun quirky personality tests as if they same as MBTI & enneagram or whatever . and can we not treat it as viral trend. or competition of “higher the score the better the more brownie points.”

talking to both @keeperofthebox and @moonieratty today somehow combined into me cooking up a sentitwin infinity train au where one twin is the reflection of the other

specifically, félix (lake) has been living as adrien's (tulip's) reflection for their entire lives. when adrien boards the train, félix realizes he has an opportunity to escape. he double crosses adrien when he enters the chrome car and switches their places, but they ultimately reconcile and switch back. adrien sets félix free from the mirror world so he can be his own person and they separate.

félix meets kagami (jesse) and duusu (alan dracula) while on the run from mirror police. kagami is dealing with her own perfectionism and familial reasons for being on the train. they help each other with their problems, overthrow the tyrannical chrome car state, and figure out how to get félix a number so they can both leave the train and be together in the real world. they run into chloé and lila (grace and simon) on the way.

meanwhile, after helping félix escape, adrien continues his own adventure in navigating his emotional repression, father's disappearance, and mother's death. his primary companions are tikki and plagg (one-one), who used to be conductors of the train. they were secretly ousted a year ago by gabriel (amelia), who is mad with grief and trying to create a car to bring émilie (alrick) back. this significantly complicates adrien's cathartic journey, especially because nooroo (the cat) is interfering with him on gabriel's orders.

finally, adrien confronts gabriel in the conductor's car over how to cope with grief. while adrien succeeds in restoring tikki and plagg to their rightful position and leaving the train, gabriel has dug his own grave and is left behind to make reparations or die.

sometime afterward, chloé and lila have an adventure of their own, wherein meeting zoé (hazel) changes the progression of chloé's life.

so if I were to make an au of this, it'd be "jason never dies, and he gets his own teen titans team" etc etc because I think he deserves that in at least some universes lmao. also I would LOVE to explore how adult jason would be if he never died. what would his new superhero name be, after he outgrew robin?? what would his stance on crimefighting and morality be???? etc etc

so TEAM MEMBERS. I've seen a few other aus of this, and I'm inclined to go with the team lineup other people have chosen because. if it ain't broke don't fix it, ya know? but I really love the team including kyle, connor, rose, and eddie. I haven't read very many comics with the latter two yet, but it just feels right <3 and maybe also supergirl? I haven't read any of her comics either, but the team could use a super to balance the powersets out. idk

I would also be interested to explore the jaykyle dynamic if jason was never the jason we've all seen kyle interact with. he still has a streak of assholery, but I don't think he'd be as bad. or maybe kyle would be the One Guy who annoys jason enough that he's just as insufferable as canon. I dunno but I would loooove to explore that dynamic a bit. I definitely think they'd be....softer than what we see in canon, but I don't know to what extent yet

I would also like to study the batfam and how jason never dying would affect the timeline there. if he never died, tim wouldn't have stepped in, and that would change a lot of young justice's story. maybe tim ends up in the batfam after all, but it's much later and in a different way. bruce never loses a son. I would love to study all that and see how everything changes.

I think a possible adult hero name for jason would be flamebird, and he could collab with dick a lot. or maybe he has something different and has his own city, or something in between the two. idk

i have not done a SINGLE assignment over my 1-week christmas break. FUCK.

fuck months being hard tbh. idc i was hurt on the same day for years i don’t care that it’s a reminder. i care that i got through it i care that it meant something i care that i’m a better person today. i’d look everyone in the eyes who hurt me on that day and go. Thank you. We don’t have to be the same as we were, i still love you i always will. i don’t think that’s a bad thing. i missed being able to be excited for things like this, i missed not saying sorry after everything. What a terrible line we went down. isn’t amazing how we’re out. now let’s not be binary about this, why must we only be able to in and out of peoples lives.
