Emizel (Condi):
I think the most likely clans for him are Brujah and Gangrel.
Based of the official character design we've received for him, along with the audio teasers we can tell that he's a bit rough around the edges, and overall probably not the nicest of guys, and the clans that are most stereotypically like that are Brujah and Gangrel (im coping),
He seems like he doesn't care about whats in his way as long as he can get rid of them, and tripping someone just because they looked at him (aka having a bit of a temper) is another point to Brujah.
For Gangrel I'm really just hoping tbh. Its the copium speaking LMAO.
Shilo (Bizly):
Toreador, Lasombra, Malkavian
Shilo, based off his art, is a very extravagant person, wearing very elaborate clothing, and I think older Toreador and Ventrue (tho ive completely ruled out venture bc he sounds so pathetic lmao) are the most likely to have a personal servant of some sort, which in the audio teaser we can tell that Shilo does.
Lasombra is based off something Bizly said on twt, that "[Shilo's] eye's became inky blackness/shadows" or something similar, which is something that can be a side affect of an ability that Lasombra use, but it's something that happens to them when they use an ability, not what happens to someone else when they use it, and Lasombra themselves are very tied to the shadows.
Malkavian is simply bc I think Bizly could pull off playing one I'm gonna be honest, I have no real proof or reason I just think he could pull it off.
??? (Grizzly):
Nosferatu, Tremere, Lasombra, Gangrel (pure copium), Ventrue
Here's the thing. We don't know shit about Grizzly's character other than the fact that he wants them to be a complete mystery, so I don't have a lot to work off of lmao.
My thoughts would be he's either playing a clan that no one would think he'd play (Nos, Gangrel), a clan not available in the base ver of VtM 5e (Lasombra) or a clan that is mysterious (Tremere).
I didn't mention Ventrue in there bc my reasoning for why his character is Ventrue is simply bc his character was in the middle of the group, similar to that of a leader, in the Suckening trailer.
Also if he is playing a Nosferatu i'll be so happy ESPECIALLY since I really don't think anyone would expect that of him given that he plays these like. Beautiful and/or ethereal character's. So playing a character that by default can't be that would be really interesting.
That reasoning is also why I don't think he'd play a Toreador bc it would be so like. Obvious. LMAO. Toreador I think fits exactly what he usually plays almost too well, so I think he'd play something out of left field or something that is similar to what he'd go for without being too obvious yknow.
Edit: ALSO id like to point out that we can assume that theyre Anarchs (one of the 2 main factions in vtm, the other is the Camarilla) bc of the anarchy symbol in the trailer <3
also point to gangrel (im coping) grizzlys pc has a cat so. i can hope.

I came up with something more and this is something i'd REALLY like for you to give your more than two cents on.
So I started this study like a year ago and its about the possible placements your fs can have.i kept doing it for a while and then i thought about how juno,bride,groom,dsc PC's would be much better to guess the fs chart.
By studying his bpc and his NC I have a few guesses about his fs' possible placements/dominants.
1.she IS definitely having strong cancer placements.(no explanation needed)
2.it can also be that she may have strong 4h placements OR can be moon dominant.(if not the 1st guess then this)
3.mars in 10h or cap mars or mars in a cap degree.(guaranteed success)
4.leo placements or degrees or prominent 5h placements.(creativity,childlike,fame,etc)
5.sun in 10h or sun at leo/cap degree.(same as 3 and 4 guess)
6.pluto-venus aspects,Venus/lilith/pluto in 8h/1h.(magnetism,envy,jealousy,obsession,inference,rich spouse)
7.virgo rising or its degrees on asc.(she's blunt and a bit sharp)
8.gemini Venus or venus in Gemini degrees.(this venus sign is compatible with libra venus and he has geminivenusin bpc too also talking about her having venus-pluto aspects this sign kinda suits it)
9.Sun/moon/saturn aspects.(daddy issues)
10.jupiter in 2h,4h or 11h.(rich family background,big communities, finances and luxuries)
11.this one is random but i see her with a leo mc or an Aries mc OR mc in those degrees.the possible risings with these mc's could be cancer,leo,Libra,scorpio.
12.the above 4 rising signs make the most sense to me.when it comes to his fs I imagine someone soft but sharp.she MAY have these rising signs with virgo degrees.

-> For the age gap, I don"t wanna assume things but it doesn't seem like jk will marry that late and I saw some readers say they'll have 10 years of difference of something but in I absolutely don't see it?? On his chart, I saw placements that indicates 1-2 to 5 years of difference max? She is not that young compared to him. She LOOKS very young, but she isn't, this is what I see! The cancer placements are always very tricky lmao! And if people keep saying they'll be together in 2027 (JK's Saturn return, he will be 29) so 19 if ten years of difference???? idk that seems odd to me, I don't sense it. I feel like she'll be working and be in her successful time at the time!

yeah seconding that anon about evening/night walks! if you live somewhere with lots of light pollution, on cloudy nights visibility is basically the same as during a very cloudy day, otherwise very clear nights with a near-full moon are incredible. and if you're at all an early bird, there's really something special about going outside as dawn is breaking (and it feels generally less risky too lmao). if you're worried, you can bring a flashlight or headlamp, a lot of camping headlamps have a night-vision mode where the light is a deep red that allows you to see without fucking up your eyes.
it sounds like a lot of your sun reaction is tied to the Brightness - really dark (as in UV 400-rated) polarized sunglasses can help, specifically the polarized because they mitigate a lot of the glare, which ime is what takes a bright day from bad to Unbearable. brown/yellow tint is preferable, but there are some that lean more orange/red and those FUCK severely. sunglasses combined with a big floppy hat - like full-brim sunhat for 360 degree coverage) can really tone down the Agony. if you're willing to look Weird for the sake of your eyes, also the black paint that athletes put on their cheeks helps glare too, but usually good-size sunglasses will cover that angle.
i have more Skin issues (i can literally feel direct sunlight on my skin as a like. prickling sensation), and if it's bad a very lightweight long-sleeve shirt goes a long way, ideally something sweat-wicking, but it does also help with bugs. with a lot of the other Stuff, ive gotten really into birds! it's very helpful as a grounding technique imo to be able to listen for specific birds, like if it's a bit Much outside and i can hear a cardinal (almost always a cardinal, loud bastards) it helps a lot for me to keep my ears pricked for that cardinal and keeps my mind off the So Muchness of everything else.
literally i joke about being a drow when i'm outside on a bright day and can barely open my eyes without at least a hat, ideally also sunglasses, but it does kind of make me feel less like an alien!!

but the town you lived in was particularly small and you did end up bumping into william

but as he hears your laugh and his worries are dulled down a little
he sees you smiling so happily at william and when he chances a glance at the noble beside you, his worries are completely erased
william’s looking at you the same way everyone swore he looked at your mother
it’s a gentle gaze filled with love and kindness, one that he knew could protect you and take care of you
your father hated nobles and hovered over you when it came to love
but he couldn’t help but hold back on questions when he came back and you instantly noticed that your father took a liking william

so when he helped you back up, he felt the chilling stares of the town burning into his back
and then you apologize for bumping into him when he was the one who bumped into you and you fell??????
“please, let me make you something! i feel so bad!”
he tries to decline but there was this odd pressure to say yes to you
he ends up going home with you
you’re both in front of the door before your father opens it, his eyes wide
“who is this boy?”
“oh, i didn’t get his name on the way here. what is your name?”
your poor father’s heart is pounding way too fast for his liking
“oh! look at that, thank you so much for bringing my child home! you should be going home now”
he tries to shut the door on louis but you hold it open and beckon louis inside
“i invited him here! i accidentally bumped into him earlier so i offered to make him something!”
louis is so awkward pls
your father reluctantly lets him in but gives him a side eye the whole time he’s in the house

it is on one particular day of visiting an orphanage do you run into the eldest moriarty brother
you two exchange polite greetings and you both pause
“your father is the earl, is he not?”

a brief mention of your father and your mood dulls slightly

he would kill you if he found out you were amongst the “filth” as he called them

he was actually very pleasant to be around and you find yourself enjoying his company
the meetups continued to happen and soon enough, albert finds himself standing in front of the doors to your family estate
your father is not pleased at all

“i didn’t forget about what you said to me at our first meeting”
and you’re sitting there like,, ????? they’ve met??? and your father doesn’t like albert???????
of course, inviting albert to your home would have repercussions but you didn’t expect your father to be so hostile
he was always hostile towards other nobles unless they were of higher importance than him
but for him to hate albert so quickly and openly??? this was quite new
you had mentioned that your father has always been one for power so it was clear to albert that you obviously grew up in a home that was more,,, toxic than protective
it was at dinner that this behavior reached its peak and albert despised the atmosphere and the way your father treated you

your father rejects the idea without any hesitation
“i refuse to have them live the rest of their life in your household when they could do so much better”

Do the preps have any hobbies?
hey anon!! thank you for the ask, this was pretty fun and easy to work on since i already had a pretty set idea on what the preps like to do in their spare time :))

derby:
putting down poor people.
jokes aside (god knows this isn’t a joke though), i think derby is secretly a big nerd
he probably spends a lot of time analyzing old historical literature and artwork, or even studying french (since it’s canon that he knows at least a little bit due to his voice lines)
and while those things seem all fancy and rich and cool, it’s still,,,, SUPER nerdy
and derby definitely knows this, oh of course he does
but he hides behind the prestige of it all in order to cover his ass smh
huh it’s weird how the arts used to be so heavily associated with wealthy culture AKDJSKDKD now all creative people are just gay and depressed
which,, derby fits into the categories of
he’s probably a day drinker too ❤️
bif:
bif has no personality outside of being a boxer. he is, sadly, a one trick pony.
OKAY but to not do bif any injustice, i will say that he is 100% the type of person to have a little backyard garden that is essentially his child
he’d name his plants, set up watering schedules, talk to them about his day and the latest bullshit derby has put him through, play music for them
canonically, bif would NEVER do this. but that does not change that he is the TYPE of person who would.
gord:
shopping. his hobby is shopping.
when he’s sad? shopping. happy? time for a trip to aquaberry. angry? no better way to blow off some steam than by shopping. stressed? daddy’s credit card is already out and ready.
gord probably gets bored of shopping for himself all the time so he forces the other preps to be his little dolls and dresses them up

i know that tad baking was only mentioned in one singular voice line but GOD how did rockstar ever expect me to NOT latch onto that voice line for the rest of my life

he probably hid his interest since,,, he got into baking in order not to get teased
and he 100% stopped baking after the Pitchfork Incident
but i like to think that at one point he opens up about it even if it isn’t anytime soon, or even fit for his canonical personality

also this isn’t exactly a hobby but tad is the type of person to fold laundry when he gets sad
parker:
i feel like parker would be into real soft domestic shit, like crocheting and sewing
he probably makes little sweaters for the gnomes at the harrington house
or maybe even little stuffed animals for himself

one year he made all the preps matching mittens and everyone wore it for the entirety of winter in order to not hurt parker’s feelings
parker is so cute i PHYSICALLY cannot handle it
chad:
chad is one of the preps who has canonical hobbies outside of boxing, so we got got some starting ground woohoo
so canonically, chad boxes and takes flute lessons, and then he used to be apart of the glee club and he used to run track
we also know that the scar on his cheek is from fencing, so yeah we can assume that he fences
(or used to fence, since i HC that chad quit after he got his scar)
look at my boy being so multitalented omg i love him
as i have said before, and will ALWAYS repeat, i think chad is a completionist
he likes to try everything at least once, and so i think he has a lot of skills and hobbies that he does on the side
he’s the type of person that gets stressed if he has too much free time LMAO he constantly needs to be doing something
justin:
justin fucking does SPORTS for FUN
he canonically boxes and swims, but he probably does,,,, other,,,,, sports,,,,,,,,
uhhh what are. sports
HAHA okay okay but he probably plays tennis, lacrosse, golf, maybe he even does archery
justin would do those rich boy type of sports, the ones that have prestige and make him seem all cool and fancy
i think that he’s is similar to chad in the sense that they both need something to keep them busy and occupied since they don’t like having too much free time
and to fill up his time, justin does a lot of hobbies that involve physical activity which is valid

he watches a lot of movies/tv shows in his free time
he probably listens to a bunch of audio books too lmao
it’s a good way to escape reality and are all good forms of media that keep bryce entertained yet not too distracted
he canonically works at boat & yacht which is,,, a yacht club LMAOO it’s in the name, but with bryce just being a high schooler, i really doubt he’s doing any high ranking special job
so he’s probably just stuck with working the front desk or working as a server/water
(or a caddie if boat & yacht is also a country club; a caddie is someone who carries around a golfer’s clubs and sometimes they help with other things)
so he has a lot of time to watch/listen to things as he works his job!!
pinky:
she owns a blog where she trashes on people at bullworth and rants about her life
she would be totally dedicated to it LMAOOO she’s the 2000s equivalent of those dumb tea spilling accounts
oh and the 2000s equivalent of vloggers
pinky also loves doing nails and like gord, forces the preps to sit down through hours of home nail care and spa days
imagine the preps with all these colorful nail colors,,,, they said screw toxic masculinity

We can’t forget that Spencer is a more than 60,000-year-old overpowered demon/god/entity/thing, which, yes, could throw a slight wrench in this ship for multiple reasons, but I choose to make angst out of it instead.
Side note: Ghost is a chronic conspiracy theorist (and you can’t tell me otherwise) and every once in awhile Spencer will offhandedly say something like “Y’know I helped the Egyptians build the pyramids” and Ghost just goes fucking feral.
Look, I’m not saying Spencer IS touch-starved and most likely has issues creating and developing relationships and therefore avoids interpersonal connection, especially offline, but I AM saying he is prime material for it. (thats a lie thats exactly what shes saying don’t believe it) (I’m projecting okay dont judge me) (loser imagine projecting)
Imagine with me for a second: Why does Spencer willingly stay with a family who locks him in their basement with only minor complaining? He’s a near all-powerful entity just released into the world for Spence’s-sake - If he wanted to, there’s no telling what havoc he could wreak! So why doesn’t he? Why would someone so powerful, so terrifying, so dangerous that a group of people decided to seal him away forever stay with the first family he finds in sub-par conditions for years - especially someone who’s seen to be as high-maintenance as Spencer? Let me hit you with a theory: He’s chasing the feelings of validation, safety, and love - no matter how rarely it’s shown - that a family can provide. Being socially isolated for even a few years can do a number to a person’s psyche (I should know, I’m projecting onto this character right now), let alone thousands.
Now maybe Ghost can’t match thousands of years in isolation, but damn if he doesn’t have a few years of crippling loneliness on his record too.
I can see the two of them learning how to be vulnerable around others together, emotionally and physically; learning how to open up and how to talk through issues; and some third point, because points are better in threes.

first of all: the fact that Green canonically has a rivals to best friends arc with Red fills me with so much joy and YES they are on their alolan honeymoon you cannot convince me otherwise
okay like. gen 1 Green just perfectly encompasses what it’s like to be a ten year old in a way? like ofc he’s written like a kid bc he is a kid, but i feel like the writing on him just feels so genuine as compared to some of the other 10 yr old rivals you get in other regions. even though he’s kinda a brat at the start, he kinda eases up a bit as you go along your journey and starts giving you progressively nicer/more praise-y end lines when you beat him (going from “i picked the wrong pokémon!” to “so, you are ready for boss rocket!”) but still retains this childlike rivalry and competitiveness and i love that about him
and like. fucking beating him at the Indigo League still completely breaks my heart because even after he did become the champion at age 10 the first thing that happens is you beat him and Prof Oak just yells at him for being bad at things and like. ow.
this is why i headcanon that Red actually took awhile longer to get to Green like please. please give my boy a chance to be happy and proud
also Red was caught up with Team Rocket anyway so i imagine he must’ve fallen a little behind at some point? anyway
the development on him across regions is so choice!!! he’s so much more mellow and even kinda melancholic when you find him in gsc/hgss, like he’s calmed down over a few years and he obviously misses Red so much but like, it’s clear that Red is kinda the reason Green does settle down and he seems to have worked on his character and become a nicer person - and he still has that sassy flair to him! he’s just got that gradual slope from asshole rival to kinda aloof gym leader to friendly/sassy battle legend and aaaaa i love my boy so MUCH
also huge point: he’s so fucking driven??? he’s got the most drive and the most passion for battles/pokémon in general out of all the rivals i feel. he’s only closely matched by Silver, but Silver seems to be more aggressive than passionate, and somewhat out of necessity too (like, Giovanni abandoned him what was he to do), whereas Green just really like. he genuinely just cares so much about battles and about pokémon in general! he literally calls you in hgss and just rants about how many different kinds of pokémon there are in the world!!!
also in Alola he’s like???? just so sweet?????? he congratulates you and is like hey you’re really strong lets battle like!!!!!!!!! supportive boy!!!!! he has come so far over so many generations and i cry
also on Four Island when you play frlg he legitimately says “Be smelling ya!” when he leaves and how do you not love this idiot

i mean. while i get that you beat Green right after he becomes the champion in the kanto games i feel like there should’ve been more pomp and circumstance for him and i’ll never forgive gamefreak for giving this boy his dream, then making you rip it away from him, and then watching his own gramps yell at him for fucking up like. again it’s that drive, i get why Red keeps such good pace w Green but i just feel like he worked so hard and he deserved so much better than that

like they perfectly balance each other. Green has all this energy and all this spunk and Red is just like… so opposite of him y'know? he’s quiet and he’s more measured in his behavior i feel, he doesn’t really rush into things as much, and yet they both really just took Kanto by storm when they were kids, and i like how they have this foil dynamic and are both still so successful? they’re so different and they complement each other in that way, and they both find success in their own ways
like one of the reasons i hate that Green’s championship gets undersold so much is that he did beat you to the punch, and he has been one step ahead of you, and there’s so much passion there and it’s so loud - and yet you as Red are just as driven, you take down Team Rocket, you’re always right on his tail, so close but not quite there, you’re the only one who can keep up with him and you’re the only one he cares enough about to slow down for
so like. idk with even all my headcanons about namelessshipping aside (and i can infodump those another day lol), i feel like the in-game representation of them just works. they just work so well together, they balance each other without ever holding each other back, and there’s something really beautiful about that in a relationship y'know

while Red is still living on Mount Silver, Green is not coping well with having him so far away, and so Green massively overworks himself to the point that he keeps just not being in his gym sometimes bc he’s bouncing between the gym, training multiple teams, pokémon research, and ofc going to visit Red whenever he can. this leads him to be kinda temperamental after he’s been working on 2 hours of sleep a day for like a week until he just has an emotional meltdown and crashes, and then he gets right back into it because he has no self preservation
…….. nicer headcanon; Red can only cook two (2) foods, so Green cooks all the food for them when they move in together. he has attempted to teach Red how to cook, but Red pretends not to understand so Green will keep making him food. Green knows Red is faking it and doesn’t call him out bc he thinks it’s cute

look i’ve played through classic red version a few times and when i say he wasn’t that much of a jerk, i do genuinely mean he was not that much of a jerk. he’s like ten. ten year olds are just Like That. i guess this isn’t too unpopular anymore but it was Back In The Day and in some parts of the fandom he’s still seen as a jerk and like Bro He Is Ten In RGB/FRLG cut him some slack

favorite thing about them
by now i guess you know im a sucker for character development, but i think they did a really good job with her!! i feel like her turn is a bit more in moments than it is with Green, who gradually evolves (lol) over the course of Kanto/all the gens overall. you see more discrete moments where Lillie starts to shift and gain confidence in herself and i am so proud of her ???? like the way she gets excited when she sees Olivia doin’ her z-move stuff, she starts buying her own clothes and getting ahead of you, etc etc
and like, she still has moments where she’s scared, there’s still some fundamental Lillie in there yknow? you don’t lose any of that softness that characterizes Lillie, she just like��� she gets better, she develops without losing her Lillie vibe and i love that abt her. she overcomes a lot of the shit she had to deal with when she was stuck with Lusamine, she stands up to Lusamine eventually, and ghfdkjsg gah she’s a sweet gorl i love and appreciate her
also like. the writing on her backstory is so subtle in-universe. like yeah she literally looks like Lusamine’s daughter and you see her in the opening cutscene leaving Aether, but as the protagonist - like as Selene lets say, there’s little hints about where Lillie came from, and if you suspend your disbelief and put yourself in the pc’s shoes, there’s subtly to her character arc that i like
also like. when she changes her outfit and starts being more protagonist-y, like more confident and kinda bubbly instead of shy??? love that shit it’s so cute can i have custody of this child pls

i like. sometimes feel like she’s too soft of a character for me to really get into? like i love her and Hau, they’re sweet good friends, but i tend to personally gravitate towards characters that create a little more tension (ie Green and N)
(though on that note, Hau can be kinda savage. he just calls Faba out and sarcastically calls Gladion “a ray of sunshine” at some point i think?? Lillie is just very tender and i will support her forever, but i think that also makes her almost too soft to keep me fixated on her yknow. it’s not even a flaw in her character but just not something i fawn over as much)

like that ending kills me but that line almost feels like. I Feel That So Much like i feel so happy to have met all these new characters and to have played these games, and i feel like some of the player’s energy and enjoyment of the game is channeled into this last line of hers

Bro 4231 is not the most graphic thing on site, if you wanna leave it up I say leave it. If anon hates it so much they can blacklist or whatever, you’ve left that ditch of worms behind. What kinda stuff are you working on now, regarding your original stuff? THATS where the sexy writing is, where your passion’s at.
okay so for ORIGINAL stuff….man, it’s been weird since i left. im currently refitting the broken masquerade tale i was working on for the past year to a new universe. a lot of my extra energy has been being poured into a massive irl nonfiction project, which is coming together nicely so far, but as far as fiction goes i’m still missing like……….A Lot in this project. i usually write light stuff to help me sleep, resulting in a MASSIVE amount of random fluff and angst with my characters (including a 20k document i generated last year before overhauling the canon and having to start over) but that’s not like………Real Shit, you know? like, it’s still missing substance.
like, the problem with this is that Shadowgraphy, as original as the characters are, was still a foundation tale. the whole point of it was mocking the ‘we die in the dark so you can live in the light’ saying (thus the name; ‘shadowgraphy’ is the art of shadow puppets). as a result, for every fantastic original thing in it, there’s a fantastic foundation thing, too, including a scene where the villain has our humanoid-scp-protagonist strapped down to a chair for Torture Reasons and says “if i’m going to build a foundation, i’m going to build it from the wreckage of you”, which i’m not gonna lie is a a line i am never gonna be able to get back with the same amount of punch (actually, the entire scene preceding that one of the villain leading him down an ominous dark hallway from his chamber is also totally bopping, but i might be able to salvage that.)
so, i have characters. i’m gonna keep the whole main cast and the villain (or…former villain? is he still a villain in this? idk) as well as a new character i made in the past couple weeks. here they are, as i’ve adapted them so far:
-Miles Cuin. teenager at the time of…whatever story is happening. biopath, can cut people with his mind. accidentally killed his mom when he was 7 while discovering he could cut people with his mind. his dad, as an alternative to a prolonged juvy sentence, gave up permanent custody of him to DATH, Daytona Academy and Training Hospital (working concept here), a semi-locked down facility which trains biopaths to be surgeons and doctors. it’s a Big Deal to be operated on by a biopath because of the amount of precision that can be carried out fully without tools or even touching the patient, although wounds, in the case of Miles’ specific abilities, still have to be stitched up manually. In personality Miles is very literal, very analytical, and very serious/focused, which are all qualities valued if you’re a minor being trained to do high-risk surgeries. Has black hair buzz-cut to comply with hospital standards. gay, but hasn’t really had a lot of relationship experience due to his circumstances and therefore is…..Confused™ as well as touch starved. has some serious issues with self harm that started shortly after his mom’s death and continues to the present; being a biopath, especially with his particular specialty (’human scalpel’), makes self harm very easy to accomplish and harder to kick.
-Kilroy Fisher. also a teenager at the time of whatever story this is. technopath, is able to ‘cast’ himself into electronics and streamlines coding and reprogramming for any language of code he knows. lives in the mid-sized harbor town that DATH is at the edge of. recovering from a drug addiction that caused him to both drop out of high school and get kicked out of his mom’s house. now rents an apartment from an older technopath in town in exchange for helping him code some very sketchy stuff, leading to him eventually hacking into the Daytona communication system, running into Miles in the process. personality is lighter-hearted and more socially amiable than Miles, but also much more anxious and prone to outbursts and prolonged bad moods. bisexual and very fucking sure of it. long blond hair, very thick aviator glasses.
-Dean Eiler. Mid 30s. DATH director; narcissist who appears like a fantastic person to the press as well as patients and their families, while meanwhile being an absolute nightmare behind the scenes. will go to extreme lengths to justify his behavior to himself, upto and including flat out lying with little hesitation. unfortunately a very skilled biopath, although how he got the training is opaque and uncertain and almost certainly wasn’t morally fantastic; past is overall shadowy. in charge of the everyday running of DATH, including daily interaction with trainees; doesn’t constantly terrorize them, but will seize any excuse to do so while in the mood. otherwise tends to be condescending and disturbingly confident in cutting people open. straight, cycles through a variety of girlfriends, none of which stay for long for obvious reasons. always dresses impeccably with his hair slicked perfectly back, and is very clearly concerned about his appearance. if not in surgery or training, wears black slacks and dress shirts with narrow ties.
-Walter Wilde. Late 20s. assistant to Eiler. Almost was an author, but was pressured into pre-med and then into med school, landing him in a Daytona pseudo-administrative position. tends to be far kinder and more sympathetic to the trainees. still writes in his free time and has a book out, although it’s not enough for him to quit DATH, which is something he really wouldn’t mind doing if he didn’t feel so strongly attached to the kids…although it’s very clear that many don’t feel the same way towards him.
-Wren. teenager. DATH trainee. haven’t actually decided on a gender for this person yet, but they’re very ambiguous in terms of expression. close comrades with Miles.
-???? idk im still working shit out
anyway. it’s a cool universe so far but there’s no like….plot lmao like there WAS a plot but it was so foundation-oriented i need to completely gut it lol. also the worldbuilding needs more work

Those two got a whole ass story (not a story about ass i just keep putting the word ass everywhere).
They were besties as kids, like, very young kids, talking inseparable besties. But, one day, quite suddenly Xiaoli’s family had to move back to China and so the two were seperated with no ways to contact or even ideas as to where the other was (factor in the fact that they were still very young and all, and if we take time into account that must mean they were in some time of barely no internet for everyone so prolly didnt have even emails tbh). The whole story i got planned for em is about how they grow up, evolve, yet still try to find each other again through the few pieces of useful information that they remember from back in the days. (and since im a sucker for happy ending it aint no spoiler that they do find each other at the end or smth like, pls, id die if they didnt. the important part is the path they took, and all the shit that happens in between ofc)
but who cares bout plot tbh, the important thing is the cHARACTERS (i kno cause my studies include storytelling classes so like bitch, i kno the story is the characters and all that jazz) so lets talk about the boys themselves some more, shall we uwu
Lets start with Vince, who’s the youngest of the two :
first thing i gotta say is that he changed a LOT design wise, like his first looks ?? wack.

anyway now he looks like a baby and that’s all that matters.

He lives in the US, born of Ecuadorian parents. Ever since he was tiny he wanted only one thing, and that is to Win Gold at the olympics (yeah i know, small ambitions, what can i say he’s a realist at heart) for tracks (aint decided yet what exact part of tracks cause im not knowledgeable in track n field and i still gotta do my research boo bad me for procrastinating).
So he runs. A lot. That’s his main thing. A big part of his identity. But not all of it naturally otherwise he’d be a running robot not a guy.
He’s still very young so he can be a tad stupid, naturally. He’s also close to his family. And he big gay. He’s a friendly guy, the puppy type with others. He’s really big on listening to his friends vent out since he believes it does a lot to relieve stress (and ya cant be stressed if you want to perform amazing !!!)
He’s kiiiiind of an overachiever. Just a small bit. He wants to do perfect all the time, so he studies a lot, trains a lot, cleans his room, does his bed, brushes his teeth, he’s a Good Kid. He’s got a really strict timetable that he follows really closely, and in general, tends to monitor his life, maybe a biiiiit too much ? Even leisure time is a specific moment of the day, a set time, nothing more. Then he goes to bed, early, so he can get a full good sleep and go run in the morning. He needs to learn how to chill a bit more. He does have friends to help him get back into a more relaxed mindset sometimes, and once he reunites with his long lost bestie he definetly will have to accept a biiiit of chaos and imprevisible...
Cause let’s talk a bit bout Xiaoli huhuhu...
At first glance you may think “oh, what a reliable serious pretty boy, he seems nice and helpful” but he’s actually a sNAKE. Or more like a fox ? I’m no vet so I’m not sure what animal analogy fits best...
Fact is he IS reliable, and nice, but he’s ALSO a bitch. If you’re pal with him he’ll help you out with your homework, listen to you rant about a heartbreak, be a total sweetheart, but if you’re his FRieND then you’ll get that but under snarky remarks, teasing, and he’ll probably record you when you’re doing ridiculous drunk antics or just tripping over your own feet...
actually he def will do that.
He’s also very expressive and open, he’s one of those characters that i like to use for expression practice because his face will stretch in any possible way. He still keeps secrets tho, mostly he doesnt talk at all about his search for Vince (probably because he’s got the biggest lead, namely having randomly found him once through his running exploits and discovering his past bestie was now becoming some sort of “upcoming athlete celebrity you have to keep an eye out for” or something...)
He actually studies medecine, not computer science but tbh, I could change it in the future, its nothing fixed nor anything too relevant to his character dshsfsgs, and also he IS pretty tech savy so that’d make sense mh.....can you believe im gonna turn into those creators who take “fan theories” and turn them canon smh
He’s quite likes going out, partying and having fun. He values balance between work and fun above a lot of things, and he’s also not much of a big planner.
Also since I mentionned it for Vince, lets make it equal : he’s a HongKong resident, his mum is half Australian so that makes him a ? Quarterie ? Is there a word for half-halfie ? Idk man. And he’s very very bi, and quite chill about it, and quite absolutely into getting dates.
Those two got some potential for me to turn them into a story so i kinda hope i’ll be able to some time in the future, who knows, maybe that’ll happen somedays uwu

Perish.my view on Estre is Complicated because she’s a really neat character and villain and ranks as a favorite in the latter department but from like, a moral standpoint i loathe her.also while it wasn’t like. pelidil levels of shittiness i’m not fond of how she hurt naemon– but then again……. now that i think of it, i really don’t know what’d she COULD do other than keep him in the absolute dark until he inevitably gets caught up in the Shitshow otherwise. i wouldn’t suppose naemon to be 100% willing to join in her efforts or even keep completely quiet about them if she did decide to talk to him about it or let him know; and for all we know, she could’ve planned to do so eventually in some way– but the suddenness of the AD hero’s infiltration of the veiled heritance probably ruined any semblance of a plan she could’ve had. so on second thought, even from a “naemon is a perfect being and i will protect him with my life and loathe all who hurt him” standpoint, i don’t dislike her too much. let’s just reduce estre to like.. honorable mentions on my “disliked characters” list then lmao(also “moral standpoint” as if queen ayrenn is anything close to the pinnacle of absolute morality. estre is objectively worse on that front, though, so i suppose i still stand by that)
speaking of which i really… don’t like pelidil. again, moral standpoint. and “naemon is a perfect being and i will protect him with my life and loathe all who hurt him” standpoint. otherwise, he’s a neat villain and the quest in which you cut him down was one of the more impressive quests in the game IMO, or even in the entire game series. good build-up.

hmmmmmm
i guess if you view it in such a way, liking him is kind of unpopular– while there’s still a lot of those who even if not actively talking about him as a character, have praised his character/took his side/whatever, there’s also a good amount who don’t. not really in considering him a poorly written character, but rather from a (sorry to bring this phrase up so much so far) moral standpoint.
also, considering him in a semi-unironic “he did nothing wrong” way, which i do, is kind of unpopular– and i can understand that, in some ways. i dont think him snapping at the scene of the orrery was under his 100% control nor was anything subsequent, but there’s still the fact that he still is in an “i deserve the throne, fuck off” mindset in coldharbour, which, unless he’s STILL affected by the mantle and/or the orrery, is obviously a negative change in viewpoint compared to the “i’ll swallow my bitterness and remain loyal to my sister and the dominion, she is the rightful queen and i am just her shadow” you saw prior.
granted, i’d argue that even then, you have to consider the influence that pelidil had over him prior (as some have accurately put it before– whispered poison into his ear). especially with the fact that naemon’s quite young for an elf at… 26? around that age-range. i dont think altmer’s minds work in the way that, say, hobbits do, in that they age slower and this includes their mental capability, decision-making, etc.. (they obviously don’t) BUT, compared to an elf with more experience, there’s a bit of an… imbalance there. pelidil WAS the one who served naemon instead of the other way around so you’d figure the opposite if anything, but again, naemon = impressionable and emotionally vulnerable at the time.
anyways, got off-topic; my point was that naemon, when you consider the influence that pelidil and any other secretly heritance people that interacted with him, even when you use the fact that he still seems “corrupted” in coldharbour to frame him as bad… that ain’t it. there’s also the fact that he is being tortured, at that moment. big part of it. he PROBABLY isn’t in the right state of mind, to put it simply. but then again, i mean, one could still argue a whole “cool motive, still murder” take on it, so whatever. i dont know man ghfghduhbdfg

and i’ve heard some talk that veya is kind of unpopular, what with the recent summerset developments? yeah, fuck that, veya’s one of my favorites. this fandom (or. any fandom lets be real) has an awful tendency to praise any goddamn male character’s flaws or “negative” depth as redeemable character complexity and something that can be looked past, and yet, you see even REMOTELY the same amount if not more character depth in a female character and they’re hated. pointing this out is nothing new but it’s truly just…. something to behold.
and on that note im just going to renounce my prior statement of “a lot of characters disliked in this fandom are disliked with good reason” that’s the dumbest shit i’ve ever said. or perhaps an addendum stating that it’s only applicable to male characters is more in order? or that it’s the opposite for male characters: liked with bad reason. or… liked with over-exaggerated reason disproportionate to the actual amount of depth, complexity, and/or likeability said character actually has, paired with hatred for female characters with the same amount of complexity. “bruh don’t you obsess over prince naemon–” Yeah And What the Fuck Of It

that’s a hard one.... i don’t think i have one anymore. i used to have this girl in my life, M, who i was really close to, but we had a fallout in october and she never came around to fix this even though i was open to the idea... so i lost my best friend, which is kinda sad considering that she was the only person i could open up to in the last 3 yrs. but hey that happens! i moved on and have a close friend still so im all good.
24. What are three places you want to travel?
i really wanna visit scotland! it has this specific atmosphere i really long to experience, and i wanna see the landmarks and grassy fields and loch ness and haunted places and just roam around there for a while.
i also wanna see moscow - it’s been sort of an obsession of mine since reading glukhovsky’s metro series, and also it’s a beautiful city worth visiting. i’d also like to get on the trans-siberian express but that’s not a specific place dsfsgdf
the last place would be the aokigahara forest in japan - also one of the places i feel drawn to for ages now. found out about it years ago and since it’s been sort of a plan of mine to visit one time. if i manage to graduate university my mum promised to send me on a trip to japan - so if it works out, ill be on my way there baby! lmaooooo thats a funny one listen up... so i was fresh out of breakup and wanted to make some friends.... wait for it.... ON TINDER. i live in an university town so i was like kewl imma make some ppl my age (until then all of my friends were A LOT older than me) and have some friends and if romance happens then it happens, w/e. so i set up this bar night with this one guy, i believe his name was David? so David and i meet up for drinks, i grab a gintonic and we sit down to talk... what he never knew abt me is that i am on the adhd spectrum and i have to get my hands busy with smth so i can focus on what im saying otherwise my thoughs r all over the place. so im casually keeping my hands busy with just spinning my locked phone there and back, or just messing around with the lime slice on my glass and at a random moment David goes like “u know.... i hate when ppl cant stop messing around with their phone” and im like ????? dude im literally just spinning it, not even messaging anyone or unlocking it or shit. and he goes on this rant that he always expects ppl to pay full attention to him when talking, looking at him (i never look ppl in the eyes cuz i tend to just go into panic mode from long eye contact and also i think its creepy to just stare at someone constantly) and just not doing anything else except paying attention to him so i go on explaining to him that i need to keep myself busy and im not doing it to annoy him - but he keeps on insisting so i excuse myself to a cigarette (he also hated smokers lmao) and call the widowmaker main friend from the previous question and am like “hey man i have the worst date of my life can u be at this place in 40 minutes and then we hit the night life” and hes like fine so i go back to David and tell him “sorry mate i just remembered i have my last bus home in 30 minutes and the next one is in 1,5 hrs and i really cant stay out that late so can we wrap this up and schedule an other meeting some other time” and hes like fine... got me to the bus stop, i sat on the bus.... got off at the next bus stop, met up with widowmaker main guy and went out for drinks and decided to never go on tinder dates again sdfgsdfg

HEY HI HELLO ITS CRUSH ANON so like last week i was just chilling in the big room watching stranger things and my back was to the door so i didnt even know it when it happened but apparently he just like walked in and was like ,,, there ,,, LOOOL and i was still watching stranger things and i had my headphones on and i was really focused (and trying to distance myself from him a lil lol) so i didnt like look up from the screen or acknowledge him but he started talking to my other roomie (1/10)
and was like ‘omg wtf she hasnt even acknowledged me since i walked in .. jeez’ and then he started saying like fake spoilers and trying to get my attention but i just like was not up for that so i just kept watching and ignoring him lol but then the episode ended after like 2 min and i was like !!!! hi what tf do you want :) LOOOL and he was like wow hi ok LMAO and we just started talking and he was waiting for our other roommate who was in the shower bc they were supposed to do a shoot (2/10)

and every time wed finish writing a line wed have x sing it to see how it would sit on the instrumental and sldkhgsldslkdh ohhh my god his voice is literally so beautiful i was d y i n g LOOOL and yeah during the night there were moments where hed touch me or wed kinda flirt and idk yeah those moments i was dying but at the same time i was acknowledging the fact that i was dying and acknowledging the fact that it probably didnt mean anything and separating it from the way i was acting so (10/10)
