"Stop saying Crowley won't help Aziraphale in S3 he'd go back to him in a HEARTBEAT and nothing would stop him" I get it no one likes the idea of Crowley being bitter after what happened for a long period of time but like can we at least acknowledge that he's currently going through probably the most emotional pain in his life since falling? Can we agree that he's opened his heart entirely - something you couldn't pay him to do unless the world is literally ending and he's desperate - to Aziraphale, and got shot down? Can we understand that he did it AGAIN only to lose Aziraphale again? Not that what Aziraphale did isn't without Crowley's own shortcomings (hiding the truth of Heaven's cruelty from him) but like,,,,
The appeal here isn't Scorned Crowley Doesn't Love Aziraphale Anymore, or Never Wants To Help Him Again, the appeal here is Crowley learning enough self respect to not just walk back right to Aziraphale like nothing happened after Aziraphale has had a pattern of consistently refusing him. Going years ping-ponging between "We're not friends I don't even know him" to "That's what friends are for right?" and "We're friends, why would you even say anything?" and "Friends? We're not friends. We are an angel and a demon!"
Like I get it, Crowley is a heartbreakingly forgiving person. Of course he's gonna forgive Aziraphale, I'll be surprised if he didn't forgive him by the time he walked out the bookshop door, but gdi he could at least grant himself the luxury of being at least a little irritated for longer than however long it takes to make a globe and some books float and angrily cry out to God in his flat. But due to the change of pace and dynamic that is establishing part of the conflict for Season 3, I just really like the idea of him for ONCE prioritizing himself and being like "Okay, fine. We'll get back at it when you're ready, then," instead of just taking Aziraphale back like his words and actions meant nothing to him, when clearly they have an effect on him.
What is Aziraphale going to learn if Crowley just accepts what he did so quickly, like he always has the entire time they've been friends? Idk maybe I'm just projecting too much darkness on their dynamic but I mean, if the pattern of Aziraphale pushing Crowley away/disrespecting him one day and then being fine with his friendship the next + Crowley never stopping to be like "Hey, that's not cool, at least give me a little credit" or smth was fine all along and will continue to be fine in the future, then why, after 6,000 years of being friends and loving this demon, can Aziraphale still not accept that Crowley is just fine the way he is, and instead got excited to promote him to an angel in a heartbeat once the opportunity presented itself? You can't blame all of it on Heaven when Aziraphale has demonstrated his free will/defiance to Heaven so many times. Or, I don't know, I guess maybe we can? Maybe I'm just craving too much angst to the point where I'm letting it cloud my analysis of canon. Idk.

out of curiosity are some colours more common than other, is it possible to rank them as most to least common?
By this question, do you mean in QLs? As color-coded characters? Who are in color-coded pairs?
Well, I'm not a data person. I work in the humanities, so we don't "do" numbers, but if I had to compile a list based solely on my consumption of QLs (Thailand who is the largest producer of QLs, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam, and even China) , yeah. I would state that some colors are more common than others.
So on that note, black is the most common color-coded character.
Black is normally paired with a "light" character in the forms of multicolored characters or white-colored characters, so I don't really rank "light" characters, but they would be next in line if they were one color.
But black is also paired with blue.
Which means blue is the second most common color-coded character.
Korea tends to pair blue with green. Japan normally pairs it with yellow/orange. However, Thailand mainly pairs it with red.
The next most common color-coded character is red, which is significantly fueled by Thailand.
Strangely, yellow/orange (usually used interchangeably) is the next most common color-coded character.
It's odd because previous to 2022, there were not that many, but they are popping up a lot more in the past two years, specifically in Thai media.
Which means green is now slightly behind yellow/orange since Thai media doesn't use it as much, and Japan and Korea haven't used it as much recently either.
Next is pink.
Which much like red, is basically because of Thailand.
Purple and brown get no love!
However, brown has strangely been used more than purple.
Which is why I have high hopes for Wandee Goodday since Wandee will be a purple color-coded main character.
So yeah. Nothing too formal, but based on my informal observations, this is how the colors would rank from most common to least common color-coded characters in the QLs I've watched.
Thanks for the ask.

Ok i know chapter 2 isnt done yet which is why im asking, otherwise I wouldnt even mention it! I was wondering if later on there will be more flavor text when you save/don't save Clem from Duncan when you're romancing them? Like it was more "so Lea and the hunter had a chance" if u save Clem rather than the MC not wanting to see Clem get hurt
yes, you'll get a chance to talk to Clem about what happened and you can expect one-on-one scenes with all of the companions in the second half of the chapter.
as an explanation, it's important to remember the hunter has only known these people for about a day; while obviously they do very much like Clem and care for them (or Merry, or Noel) they're priority in this moment is going to be themselves and Lea as well as the Order. being surrounded and threatened along with the panic and the adrenaline the hunter is just operating on instinct, which is why the focus is very much more on Lea/the hunter than any of the companions - there is no romantic flavor text in the fight at all except for one section (actually with Clementine). and specifically for Clem, they also just don't really think Duncan is going to hurt them (at least not anymore than he already did). the hunter doesn't really know who Clem is, and while they are definitely suspicious, they still consider Clem to just be an innocent civilian - and depending on what you say, Merry will even tell you that Duncan is bluffing. whereas when it comes to Merry, both the hunter and Lea know he will kill her if they hand her over.
all that aside, once the moment passes and the hunter can cope and process the situation, you'll have a chance to decide what the hunter feels about what happened/how they feel about the choice they made, and again, you'll get to talk to Clementine and get different scenes with them depending on your choice and your relationship!
