“And up against the red fury of Hawks, we have none other than the villain on wheels! DABI!” Just like with Hawks, the crowd went wild, the screens filling the large field, lights shining down at the two gorgeous cars. Their engines whirred in the most satisfying noise as the two boys retrieved their attention from the crowd, starting with their usual insults to one another. God- How you hated them. Their smug faces and cocky attitudes. It was like the living embodiment of what you despised in men. But here you were, wearing skin tight shorts and a checkered bra that made everything pop. Just because you hated them, didn’t mean that you hated your job. You loved the adrenaline, the feeling of cars rushing past you and how it made your heart race every time you swung the checkered flag. And seeing the two fastest racers line up? It was like a dream come true. One of them was going to whir past you in a gorgeous car, while the other would sulk and complain about his loss, something you oh-so wanted to see, given how much you despised the two particular racers. “And now! Let’s have our gorgeous flag girl, (stage name), start these lovely boys off!” That was your queue. With a loud clanking of heels, you strutted towards the two cars, the heat of the engine making your heart race faster, whilst the sound only drowned out the screaming crowd, making it seem like you and the two racers were the only people in the world. “Damn, you fine flag girl.” The words of the blonde only struck you as odd, almost instantly earning the racer a dark glare. Your (e/c) practically drilling a hole into his forehead as you contemplated if he was serious. It was true that you didn’t really wear this type of revealing clothing before, but you were in many of Hawks’ previous races, so why was it now that he decided to speak up. Now that you built up a specific hatred towards him. “Pardon?” “Did the car engines make you go deaf? He said you’re fine, hot stuff.” That was the raven haired racer, joining in on the conversation, only making your confusion grow. What was with the two? Was the attention of the crowd not enough for them? Did they need constant validation, even from you? “I heard him right the first time, flame head.” The insult only made Dabi groan in annoyance, his gorgeous black car was adorn with blue flame vinyl, something that had always been a conversation starter. But it was the mocking tone that made him groan in annoyance. Mostly because this was the first time anyone had ever insulted him over something so- personal. “Never mind him flag girl, how about you let me take you out when I win.” Hawks decided to interrupt, the smirk constantly lingering on his features. “If you win.” Dabi corrected, only making you snicker. Pushing the flag up to your lips, staring at the cocky blonde as he scanned your body with a hungry gaze, contemplating whether your hatred would outgrow your need for adrenaline, before answering in a teasing manner. “You’re on, pretty boy.” -♡♡♡- (As I mentioned in my previous post, this is something I started writing, but could never get myself to finish!
