#persona 3#persona 3 spoilers#minato arisato#makoto yuki#ryoji mochizuki#aigis#ryomina#lizzy does art#HELLO EVERYONE!!! march 5th is upon us again so i bring... my contribution for this year. my third year drawing for it!#i made the thumbnail for this a few weeks after last year's graduation day#i thought it would be fun to lean into the ryominaigis angle of graduation day (you could read this as minato/aigis if you like-#but i feel like most people would read it as ryoji/minato)#IN ANY CASE working on this made me very emotional over this game :') (specifically minato)#i really enjoy how p3 ends it's such a nice way of wrapping up the narrative's messages and themes#working on this. minato's kindness was at the forefront of my mind throughout the piece#and i really wanted to capture how. ultimately it was his decision to sacrifice himself- to do the great seal#while to an outsider's perspective it is. sad that minato passes. i think becoming the seal is something that minato-#actively welcomes. in the same way that death (ryoji) is a comfort to him because death was housed in him for Ten YearsTM#AND I ALSO GOT REALLY SAD OVER AIGIS TOO. i still get fucked up over how in fes's animated cutscene for 3/5 they portray-#her as human and not drawing the robot parts so i wanted to do something smilar here...#but also i am very sad on aigis's behalf because she discovers her humanity through minato and realizes what she-#wants to do and then. well. minato is like. he's ready to pass on (even if he's scared) and im like. OH MY GOD THIS TRIO GETS ME MESSED UP#this was more coherent in my head LOL BUT ough i like drawing p3 and working through my feelings about it...#anyway! happy (in quotations) march 5th. i love this game to bits. it's so fun to draw for this day every year and see how i've improved#if you've read all this thank you :) lizzy appreciates you all very much. mwah! <3

istg people dont know what narrative and foil even mean at this point
#compendiumnotebook#ppl just be saying things#something that's subtextual and something that's textual are two different things#also people not giving weight to overarching narrative themes because its not always textual gets me so annoyed#like sometimes the text lies and sometimes the text is written because it has an expectation of you understanding it after the fact#like#i saw someone say im regards to minatos awakening that 'thanatos breaking out of orpheus was never explained again'#like i feel like some things are so obvious that when people say this kind of stuff it boggles my mind#'it was never explained again' (proceeds to complete fes)#like. hes a representation of the very thing stealing the life he could of had.#thanatos represents so many things to minato#you could say what actually happened (him awakening after 10 years. being brought back to his home)#or the more emotional reading/character driven take of (orpheus was the life he could of had but never would have gotten the chance to live#a life stolen away from him though he takes it in turn and in kind because thats the kind of person he is#someone inflicted with such troubles and nobody knows but he continues on with life regardless#whatttttever bro#whatever#i think this is why people also dont talk about ryoji as much and it makes me lose my mind because ryoji is literally the perfect summary#for the game and its themes and messaging#and because people dont understand what these things were intended to be they downplay his involvement of being the most integral bit#ahhhhh im going crazy#idk what spurred this on i think im just#hm#anyways im 2 for 2 with awesome persona thoughts today so thats nice#at least i get smth out of my craziness

Hi! I am a huge fan of your work! (Especially winter is a lovely season for romance and funerals; you really know how to make a guy cry!)
I wish there was more ryomina content out there, so would it be possible to write a pinning Makoto that’s in denial about his feelings for Ryoji (first love sorta vibes?!?!)? (Crushing on the popular guy?!?). He could have internalised homophobia or he could just straight up just be in denial, but I’ll leave that up to you!
Thank you for reading this request and I hope you have a wonderful day!
I’m so happy you enjoy my fanfic! WISRF is my baby rn, and I hope you don’t mind the super slow updates, I’m doing my best with it. In the meantime, I hope this holds you over, because! Oh my god, if you want more Ryomina content?? You came to the right lady!! I love these two with such an aggressive love. For example! When I finished this one, I had to click off of Tumblr so I didn’t post it too early. I ITCHED to post it. I don’t care if this is super polished, it’s not the fanfic. I can be a bit more lenient. I just wanted to have fun and enjoy the change of pace.
So! It’s a bit vague, but I went ahead and implied Minato’s a bit of a yandere for Ryoji as well as in denial.
Winter was probably Minato’s favorite season. The way the sunlight made blankets of snow sparkle like a sea of diamonds, the crispness of the air, the excuse to wear comfier clothes and stay under warm blankets, how peacefully quiet everything was due to the birds and animals either hibernating, hiding from the ice, or south for the season. It was all a blissful reprieve from the torturous heat of summer or the pollen-choked air of the spring months. Not to mention, Ryoji mochizuki had transferred to gekkoukan in those colder months.
Ryoji Mochizuki. Tall, around 5’11, with dark brown hair that was brushed back from his round, cheerful face as if his styling routine included putting his face in front of a high power fan. Paired with gorgeous blue eyes like two pools of the world’s most refreshing water, and it wasn’t a surprise that the charming trasnfer student had become Gekkoukan’s most popular student in the few weeks he’d been there. Which, was a feat, with how beloved Akihiko was. Yet, even with the fighter’s adorable, oblivious charms, when Ryoji had come to school, he’d taken the hearts of the student body like an expert phantom thief.
Or, well, at least, 99% of the student body adored the man. Minato Arisato was no stranger to charming playboys and their faux innocent, lovey-dovey antics, so Ryoji’s sugary magnetism was useless against the deadpan emo. No matter how soft those lovely sapphire eyes got when the brunette looked at him.
Or...that’s what Minato told himself each day when he heard one of his classmates whisper about some new facet of sex appeal the boy had. Irritation was what he claimed as the cause for how much he hated when he saw Ryoji out on a date with a classmate. Jealousy? No. Minato Arisato hated other people, they grated on his nerves without fail, so there was no way in hell he had any warm feelings that would stem something like jealousy. Right?
But, if that’s so, why does the mention of Ryoji going out on dates make you so aggressive? Orpheus asked, the epitome of that little voice in the back of your head that you fought to ignore. Although, does a crush really explain your feelings? What about how possessive you are of him? “Aren’t you cold, Funeral lily?” The words all but ripped the blue-haired teen away from his persona’s musings and brought him back to reality. The reality where Ryoji Mochizuki waited beside him for the train. Close enough for the shaggy-haired teen to smell how the various scents of food that had permeated the white dress shirt and black vest of his work uniform mingled with Ryoji’s peppermint-and-oleander-scented cologne. Which, meant he was too damned close. “I’m fine.” Minato said flatly before he stepped away to put a bit of distance between them. Some distance between himself and the irrational urge to brand the brunette’s cute ass. Yet, Ryoji didn’t seem to get that memo, because in the time it took the persona user to flick through a few of his songs, he became aware of the pretty boy’s body heat once again breath-tak- annoyinglyclose. “Personal space, Mochizuki.” “Are you sure? I didn’t see you grab a jacket after work tonight, and, I mean, it’s winter.” Ryoji pointed out. As if the midnight-haired teen hadn’t even spoken, and had somehow also missed the delicate flakes that drifted down from the darkened sky outside. “Yes I’m sure, and I don’t see youwith a coat either, so get off of my ass about it.” He snapped, yet when he looked back to glare at the teen who had stumbled into the shaggy-haired emo’s part time job, and just so happened to choose to work there as well, Ryoji’s blue eyes met his evil look with nothing but a warm sense of concern. The fact that the most popular boy in school had the absolute gall to look at him like that made Minato’s stomach churn. Though, that may have been caused by the swarm of butterflies he ignoring whenever he saw that addictive, sweet look.
Regardless of whatever confused feelings he harbored though, Ryoji still looked at him with undeniable softness in his gaze. A softness that Minato recognized from their first encounter outside of the very train station that they now stood in. A softness that drew Minato in like a warm hug in the chilled air of the winter night and blurred the prickly, hostile thoughts into simple white noise on that near-empty, slightly smelly boarding platform.
In fact, Minato had plenty of time while they waited for their train to notice just how soft Ryoji himself was. From that round face and dark, fluffy hair that looked feather-soft even before the blue-haired teen reached up to gently touch a stray strand that dared to fall into Ryoji’s sapphire eyes, to the warm body that he’d heard from the many girls was great to hold. And, that spark of jealousy was the dose of ice water that pulled Minato out of the trance he’d fallen into. So, the proximity of Ryoji’s face to his crashed down like a precariously balanced box at a sharp gust of wind and hit Minato right in the impulses. "Ah! Mina! What the hell?!” Ryoji yelped, his hand on his cheek as he stared at the midnight-haired emo who’d let those jealous, vicious urges slip just a bit. “I-I-I…” Sadly, when he tried to speak, shame choked the persona user worse than the stale, dank air of the dark hour, but he pushed the words out regardless. “I-I told you, personal space, god damn it! Listen!” “Motherfucker, you’rethe one who leaned in! I just met you in the middle!” Ryoji pointed out, but what was Minato to do? Confess to the jealousy he harbored towards all of the girls he heard talk about the brunette?
No. If he tried to explain the intricacies of his ‘jealousy’, he’d be forced to explain why the mere memory of his classmates harmlessly gossiping about Ryoji had driven him to sucker punch the man. He’d have to confront whatever those disgusting, squishy feelings were that Ryoji’s presence always seemed to dig up. And, the violent possessiveness that followed.
So, instead of doing any of that, Minato snarled, “I did not! Get your mind out of whatever pipedreams you have rattling around in that shallow ass head of yours.” And, while the look of hurt in Ryoji’s eyes stung, it stung far less than the humiliation of explaining himself. Especially since the train came along to rescue him from marinating in the kicked-puppy aura the captivating man gave off.
So, he simply ended the conversation with a huff, and put his music back on to drown out any other chance to converse.
Minato hated people. That included Ryoji Mochizuki as well.

persona 3 reload (i love)
CW: ACTUALLY. uh. warning for like. suicide?? guns? well its not actually suicide but like. i mean this isnt spoiler free but they use a certain method to trigger their personas that could be very triggering to people so if you're uncomfortable with death and anything related, this is NOT the game for you!
Also spoilers for other persona games
i just saw the entire story of persona 3 reload (well. i watched someone play it. because im not the biggest fan of grinding, but on the other hand listening to grinding in tartarus vods where they just talk about random stuff [actually, i watched CyYu's playthrough. If you don't know, that's Akihiko's VA] is nice to have in the background)
this was the second persona game ive seen. the first was persona 5, which i saw the anime for, but forgot like most of what happened (ive been regaining that knowledge through fanfiction.)
in any case i also spoiled myself to what happened in persona 3 by fanfiction
so i knew. that. protag would die.
but it got me really sad. and with the in-cutscene options where it just. feels so slow.
(and a part of me is relieved that we didnt see them make the realization that we're dead. it was all happy times till the end and i know that wouldve gotten the waterworks coming)
and then the main menu screen??
its just. empty.
Tumblr media
and this got me crying (i always hate endings, honestly. the 'will we or will we not meet again?' no thanks i shall live in 'these characters will live forever in a sort of limbo in the same school and nothing changes because yes'. ...although that might be a little too close to a certain twisted wonderland plotline LMFAO)
(also oh my god the osts in this game are such a fucking BOP AGHH)
(i have no clue what my reaction to the plot twist with like ryoji n stuff would be though, honestly. i spoiled myself reading those time travel fanfictions where persona 3 protagonist [either makoto or minato] either comes back to the beginning. ..OR somehow comes back to life??? or appears in persona 5 with amnesia at first. and like. there's one where ryoji was there (as a voice). or the yellow in his phantom thief costume was 'his idea of rebellion' aka ryoji. so then. i went to the wiki. and so yeee.)
in any case i definitely prefer this over persona 5. and that might be because i really got myself invested in the actual story and cared a whole lot about the characters (Cy Yu did a 100% playthrough using a guide as he played the original but respectfully kept the entire thing spoiler-free so ppl like me could fully experience it for the first time while getting the most story :D)
but yeah.
also.
GUNS.
trauma.
ive only seen it a few times in crossover fics between persona games. but. ..i really like seeing peoples reactions to them pulling a gun out and shooting themselves. (sometimes it works. sometimes it doesnt and it breaks because there's a difference to how every persona world works for each game. like. Dark Hour, TV World(? ive never seen 4 but ive seen fics), Metaverse(iirc)... And the shadows I think mean different things.)
also the theurgy's are very pretty. and if i misspelled that i am so sorry.

Three Reapers’ Games that Never Happened
A/N: Happy birthday @sapphireswimming. Have some mini-crossovers!
Here be spoilers for TWEWY and vague spoilers for Persona 3.  (Very light) warnings in the end note!
Also on AO3, here!
Three Reapers’ Games that Never Happened
1.
If Ling Yao had to sum up his Partner in one word, he’d use “angry.” Edward Elric is an explosion waiting to happen. He’d shown up in Shibuya Crossing with one side of his leather pants tied off above the knee and a crutch under his shoulder, swearing loud enough to scare off every player except Ling.
It’s Day 3, and Ed stopped asking about his entry fee after the first time Ling lied to his face. Ling can kind of respect that. Ling, on the other hand, would really like to stop hearing about the fact that whoever’s in charge of the game stole Ed’s prosthetic. On Day 1, he was sympathetic. Now, he’s just annoyed, and frustrated.
It’s not Ed’s fault that he’s not Lan Fan. It’s not.
They’ve got something of a temporary alliance with one of the other pairs—a blond kid who looks too much like Ed for it to be a coincidence and one of Ling’s half-siblings, Mei. The blond still hasn’t introduced himself.
“Oh, yeah, I don’t really remember?” he says, when Ling asks. “I’m pretty sure that was my entrance fee. One of the Reapers called me Al, but that feels….off, somehow?”
Ed makes a noise like someone punched him. There’s that theory confirmed.
“Maybe it’s short for something?” Mei suggests.
“Huh, maybe,” Al says. “Alex? Alfred? Nah, none of those seem right.”
“Alphonse,” Ed all but croaks.
Al smacks a fist into an open palm. “Yeah, that’s it, I think. Alphonse. Thanks, uh, Ed, right?”
“Yeah,” Ed says. His smile is so fake it hurts to look at. “That’s me.”
And that’s when the Reapers show up, because nothing in Ling’s life ever goes right. It’s the smart ones, too, the blonde lady with her hair pulled up into a bun and the smirking, dark-haired man. Even though he only ever summons Alterna Wolves and all her Noise is bird-themed, the combination of flames and aerial attacks is usually devastating.
Ling is on the ground, recovering from overusing his Psychs, when he sees a pair of Alterna Wolves descend on an exhausted Alphonse. Before he can yell out a warning, Ed is there, leaping between Al and the Noise, stretching his arm out directly into one of the Wolves’ jaws—
The words, “Don’t you dare touch my brother,” are echoing in Ling’s ringing ears—
The dark-haired reaper’s eyes are wide as he does—something—
And maybe they aren’t all going to die just yet.
2.
Arisato Minato unwraps his burger and takes a bite, relishing the taste. After two weeks of playing in this d*mned Game, and he’d decided that if he was going to have to rely on food as a way of boosting his attacks, he was going to enjoy it.
He glances over at his Partner, the ever-opaque Mochizuki Ryoji. He was humming to himself and sipping soda as if his life wasn’t at stake—typical for him, really.
Try as he might, Minato couldn’t figure him out.
“Can’t you take any of this seriously?” he asks aloud.
“But I am taking it seriously,” Ryoji replies, wide-eyed.
“No, you’re not,” Minato says. No, snarls. He can admit, he’s snarling. “You’re treating it like it’s a game!”
“It is a game!” Ryoji says. “But it’s serious too. That’s the beauty of it.”
“What’s beautiful about it?” Minato asked. “Making us fight like this, forcing us to compete against each other for just a chance at living…it’s cruel.”
It makes me want to give up, he doesn’t say.
“It gives humans a chance to show off how very much they want to be alive,” Ryoji says. “I think that’s very beautiful. Maybe the most beautiful thing in the world.”
Later, Minato will remember the way that Ryoji said humans and feel like an idiot.
3.
Danny Fenton knows that something is wrong when he wakes up in the crosswalk and understands all the conversations going on around him.
He’s in Japan. He doesn’t speak Japanese.
Something is wrong.
And then there are animals that look like they’re made of cursive brushstrokes attacking everyone and a girl runs up to him and shouts something about being his Partner.
He understands her words, but not what she means. Not at first. Not until things get really weird.
There’s a fight and something involving pins and his ghost powers keep throwing things sideways so in the end he stops using them but when things stop feeling like he’s in the middle of a transformation, the girl is staring at him like he’s a freak of nature.
Which isn’t new. But it still hurts.
Still, he doesn’t really realize the extent to which he has messed up until a blond kid materializes in the middle of the square, walks up to him, and starts looking him up and down.
After a solid minute, the boy says, “You don’t belong here at all.”
He snaps his fingers, and it echoes.
And then he’s gone, and so are the girl, and the weird creatures, and half of the people in the crosswalk.
At least everyone’s speaking Japanese again?
A/N: Warnings for canon-typical violence, canon-typical discussion of death, and one line with the lightest implications of suicidal thoughts (Directly after “it’s cruel” in the second part).
Thanks for reading!

persona top 1-5?
There’s only four characters in the persona series I’d call “Faves” so sorry for shortening the answer, but these characters are some I especially love.
Tumblr media
1. Ryoji Mochizuki - “You’ll have… to kill me.”
Ryoji is a dead boy. No, he’s not just a boy who died, he’s a boy who never lived, due to the fact that he’s the living embodiment of death. He is the idea of death, made conscious and given an ego. Ryoji is the person who is going to call for the deaths of everyone in existence, and…
He loves life. There’s no one more in love with life than Ryoji is. It’s like he loves every single aspect of being alive, and every single person alive. Ryoji is somewhat aware that his vague existence (or non-existence) is wrong but he forces himself to forget. Because all he wants to do is live. He wants to live like everybody else does.
In a story where death is a tragedy over and over again, Ryoji is the most tragic character at all because he’s not given a choice the way the other characters are. He was never alive in the first place. All he gets is the solace of feeling alive, and pretending to be human for a few short months before he kills everything.
His character reminds me of why people want to live so badly, despite struggling with loss, despite the fact that it’s all pointless in the end. Ryoji had no choice in the end, he became a monster and couldn’t become a real boy, but still he was alive once, there were people he loved. He lived for something.
Tumblr media
2. Minato Arisato - “…”
Choosing a silent protagonist is basically just cheating, but everyone choose sone persona protag they would die for, and Minato is mine. I’ve always read Minato not as someone aloof, but rather avoidant. He’s not strong, but gentle. The reason Minato is quiet all the time is because he’s desperately trying to hide his vulnerabilities, to not feel things, because what he feels is always much too much for one person.
Minato lost everything before he was even old enough to process the lost. In a way he’s been frozen in time since the accident on the bridge. He hasn’t been living simply going through the motions with headphones in his ear. Minato’s a wonderful person but nobody would ever notice, and Minato does not know himself because he’s too busy trying not to be a person.
Which is why the year in the plot is so meaningful, because the entire year is Minato learning to be a person once more, to live as a person knowing that one day he might die. He might lose everything again like the time he lost his parents, and still he keeps on struggling to live.
Tumblr media
3. Goro Akechi - “Why? Why? Why? Why doesn’t anybody want me around?”
Atlus doesn’t love him so I have to. Goro Akechi is a character I see as focused on survival above everyone else. He was thrown into society at a young age, and had no agency at all in the early circumstances of his life. He was made aware of just how much an unwanted child he was and you can tell that’s stuck with him his entire life.
What I like about Goro is how much of a controlled mess he is. He’s like a perfectly composed symphony of people screaming all at once. He has so many unresolved issues, but he tries to file them away into neat little drawers in his brain and keep smiling.
Akechi spends all his time playing the part of a perfect, likable,v ersion of himself. Which means he’s like some young celebrity. He’s adored by fans, and constantly in the news media, but it also means no one really likes him as a person and he has no real friends. And for Goro this has always been a means of survival for him. The only way he could survive among the adults was by tricking them and getting the adults to like him. He doesn’t have the same solid ground to stand on as everyone else, it’s like he’s constantly drowning.
Akechi’s act does no favors for him in the end. The person he’s most afraid of is himself, all of the horrible, ugly, negative resentments inside of him as he tries to keep them down and keep up his perfect good boy act. However in the end they all come out anyway, and what you get is not the shining white hero he desires to be, but Loki, the murderer in black.
Tumblr media
4. Makoto Nijima
Makoto is a character I did not expect to like, because I thought she was going to be strong all the time. However, when we meet her in story she’s almost nothing like the motorcycle girl she’s advertised to be.
She’s a fussy stickler for the rules. She’s an anxious nerd who studies too much. She always tries far too hard on everything she wants to accomplish. She has practically no friends because she spends most of her time sucking up to the adults around her. She gets pushed around by basically everyone in her life, from her sister, to the teachers taking advantage of her, and Makoto still lives practically only to please them.
Makoto’s projection of strength in the world of shadows is what she desires to do. To break free from everything and just do what she wants, to prove that she’s strong and powerful on her own, and not useless. Then Makoto returns to the real world and goes back to smiling at everyone. The fact that her change is so gradual over the story and means integrating both sides of her personality, the strong decisiveness she projects, and her weak and indecisive self she despises is what makes her character so impactful to me.

Persona 3 Persona-User Relationship Headcannons
Author's Note: So, I have been going through Persona 3 playthroughs recently and I have noticed that while in Persona 3 a lot goes down, I do see that in Tartarus, S.E.E.S. is actually well-taken care of, even in the anime and manga. Which sounds crazy, but it reminded me of how I made a Persona-User Relationship Headcannon for Persona 5 not too long ago. So, I decided to try this out for S.E.E.S. And leave it up for debate for people to see and hey! If this gets enough notes, maybe I will do this for the P4 cast, which will be very difficult for me, since there are so many transformations of Personas in that game my gosh and also that require rewatching a P4 playthrough. Probaby NicoB's since I like him so much.
Also, there is huge spoilers for Persona 3! And, I mean huge spoilers for the game! Like, if you don't like spoilers and read this, your experience will be ruined! So, I will put a read more for those who do not want spoilers!
So, here I go!
Minato/Makoto and Orpehus
- Orpehus and Minato actually get along very nicely, as most protagonists of the Persona series do.
- Orpehus is more quiet and reserved, but he is powerful. He prefers to fight with physical attacks to save on magic, believe it or not.
- Orpehus often is the Persona that looks after the group in Tartarus runs, but he pays the most attention to his Contractor.
- Orpehus often will give Minato advice about Minato's personal life, but this are often once-in-a-while suggestions Minato takes heed of.
- Orpehus, other than that, doesn't really get too involved in Minato's personal life.
- Orpehus does actually understand Minato's Wildcard ability is powerful and can be used to help his friends, and he often encourages Minato to use it wisely.
- Orpehus teaches Minato how sing, now, Minato doesn't sing often but when he does, it's very good. Also, he teaches Minato how to play the lyre. And, if Minato can get his hands on one, he can play just as good as he sings.
Minato/Makoto and Thanatos
- (Literally you can figure out his relationship with Thanatos with Ryoji since Ryoji is Thanatos. And so is Pharos, too. It's not too hard to figure out from there.)
- Thanatos isn't a Persona used often, but shows a much darker side of Minato.
- Thanatos is more of the dominant Persona that gets violent if angered. So, everyone tends to let him do what he wants and not interfere. But Thanatos is actually a decent Persona once you talk to him. You just gotta deal with his anger issues.
- Thanatos actually looks after the team, and doesn't like it when the team pushes themselves. If someone is pushing themselves, Thanatos will often guard them and sometimes say something. Often, Akihiko and Mitsuru are the ones who deal with his lectures.
- But, he also does show he cares for Minato, as he will make comments about Minato's life. Mostly, Thanatos is Minato's anger embodied. But, he can be nice and make comments that are helpful to others.
- Well, until he becomes Ryoji, and well, play the game to figure what happens with their relationship.
Minato/Makoto and Messiah
- Minato's relationship with Orpehus carries over to Messiah, for the most part. Thanatos is in there, but he's more or less subdued.
- But Messiah and Minato often talk while Minato is the Great Seal. Because there isn't mush else to do.
- But Messiah often encourages Minato to look after his friends, and even S.E.E.S. is disbanded, Minato still looks after his team.
- Messiah also doesn't like to fight. He prefers to heal. But he knows that sometimes fights are unavoidable.
- Messiah is quite a fighter. But out of all the Personas, he's the one who wants peaceful resolutions.
- If that gave you the impression Messiah is basically a hippie, you're only half wrong.
- Messiah also gives trivia of many different religions,  which can be odd at times.
-  Messiah also encourages and often is like an older brother figure (for lack of a better term) to the other Personas, and will always help them out if he wishes.
Aigis/Aegis and Palladion
- Aigis and Palladion get along quite well, despite what the situation looks like.
- Aigis is kinda attached to Palladion, and the two often chat with one another. And their talks can be very interesting to listen to.
- Palladion also likes Aigis too. Palladion often will look after Aigis and give her help when she feels Aigis is in trouble.
- Palladion is a warrior, and as such she will teach Aigis Greek battle tactics. Even though Aigis doesn't think it is applcable to her situation, sometimes you will see Aigis use Greek battle strategies.
- But some Roman stuff gets thrown in, too. Which is why Aigis is actually very knowledgeable about Greek and Roman history.
- In Orgia mode, both she and Aigis both become much more powerful in attacks and Palladion always manages to impress the other Personas everytime with how much power she truly has.
- Palladion also tends to give Aigis advice in school. But, it doesn't help most of the time.
Aigis/Aegis and Pallas Athena
- When Palladion becomes Athena after S.E.E.S. tells Aigis she is more than just a simple machine but a dear friend of all of them, nothing much changes in the relationship between Aigis and her Persona, minus they are much closer than before.
- But now Aigis has better battle tactics and more wisdom on her side.
Mitsuru and Penthesilea
- Mitsuru and Penthesilea actually have sort of a meh relationship.
- Mitsuru likes Penthesilea because how both powerful and badass she is, and like how she can be both a navigator and a fighter. Sometimes that really saves her life, she can tell you.
- Penthesilea watches over Mitsuru since Mitsuru can be naïve. Penthesilea also will often also give Mitsuru advice with the rapier and battle tactics. She would help Mitsuru be reminded of things, but other than that, she wouldn't get too much into Mirsuru's personal life.
- But both don't really talk much, until after Mitsuru's father and Shinji died. Then, Penthesilea went to Mitsuru and became closer. Helping Mitsuru balance all her responsibilities and at the same time, helping Mitsuru move past these deaths.
- Mitsuru doesn't call on Penthesilea's help too much, but when she does it's either in battle or when Mitsuru is in trouble socially.
Mitsuru and Artemisia
- When Penthesilia becomes Artemisia after Mitsuru and Yukari had a heart-to-heart talk which helps Mitsuru gain her confidence and hope back, the relationship between Mitsuru and her Persona does not change.
- Well, Artemisia encourages Mitsuru to stay close to her teammates, mainly Akihiko. Not because of Caeser, but more because Mitsuru understands Akihiko more than any other teammates, and Akihiko understands her, too.
- Artemisia also asks Mitsuru look after Fuuka. Well, almost all the Personas ask their Contactors look after Fuuka, but Artemisia has a somewhat soft spot for Lucia since she was a navigation Persona.
Shinjiro (Shinji) and Castor
- Um, I mean I don't think so?
- I think these two aren't in a good place with Castor going out of control.
- They have much more of an unstable relationship compared to everyone else. Shinji always has to suppress Castor, leading to various fights between the two.
- I also think Castor sometimes will threaten Shinji.
- But when both of them are in Tartarus and in trouble, the two of them will stand together. But other than that, I don't think they ever really got along.
- Well, maybe when Shinji was in S.E.E.S. with just Mitsuru and Akihiko. I personally think then, Castor and Polydeuces got along really well so Castor could be controlled that way. But, he did have his moments.
- But in the present S.E.E.S., it wasn't so good. Castor could only be controlled due to the pills being there, as Castor and Polydeuces had lost touch.
- But I do think that in Shinji's final moments, Castor and Shinji were able to make amends with one another after being killed by Jin because of Ken, because Ken was endangered, I think both of them could agree that while both of them had made mistakes in the past, they had a job now. And after Shinji died, the two of them were able to talk it out with one another. It wasn't pretty, but they were able to move the past to the past.
Akihiko and Polydeuces
- I actually think these to got along well.
- Both were fighters, and had been through a lot but was trying to move forward.
- I personally think Akihiko and Polydeuces talk a lot with one another. They aren't super close to one another, they are more like close acquaintances.
- Polydeuces doesn't look as much after Akihiko as he does the younger teammates. He may not look it, but he does have a soft spot for youngsters. He particularly looks after Ken.
- After Shinji's death, Akihiko became really depressed and Polydeuces kept telling him to get off his butt. Telling Akihiko moping around won't help anything, but Akihiko doesn't listen until he figures that out himself.
Akihiko and Caeser
- And so, Polydeuces becomes Caesar.
- The only thing that really changes between the two are differences in battle tactics, and Caesar asking Akihiko to be more wise in battle. And Akihiko is doing so.
Junpei and Hermes
- Junpei and Hermes are actually pretty close.
- Junpei got really close to Hermes since he fought a lot with him, which makes sense, especially when he has issues with his self-esteem.
- Hermes does give Junpei some help with his self-esteem problems, but not too much. Not for any personal reasons, he just firgured Junpei needs to work out his self-esteem problems by himself.
- But other than that, the two mostly don't really talk with one another, unless in battle.
- They bonded mostly in battle, but when S.E.E.S. was told once they get rid of the Dark Hour, there powers will be gone, too, things between them became much more interesting.
- Junpei became indecisive as to what to do. And Hermes did tell Junpei that it could happen, and he needs to accept that life isn't always fair. Sometimes you need to sacrifice something for the greater good. Which Junpei didn't really want to accept.
- Hermes did encourage Junpei to go after Chidori, and Junpei did.
- Which, didn't go too well for Junpei. As he almost got himself killed until Chidori healed him.
Junpei and Trismegistus
- And, after Junpei was brought back from the dead, Hermes became Trimegistus.
- The relationship doesn't change much, besides Junpei listens more to Trimegistus and Junpei becomes wiser because of that.
- Junpei becomes more mature, and he becomes less of the village idiot to an advisior.
Yukari and Io
- I don't think Yukari and Io had as good of a relationship with her Persona compared to her teammates.
- They were more acquaintances than friends.
- Yukari and Io talked, but it was mainly in battle. Other than that, they didn't talk.
Yukari and Isis
- At least, not until after Yukari found out the true video her father sent.
- Then, the two started talking more. But the more they talked the closer they got.
- And soon, they became really close.
Fuuka and Lucia
- Fuuka and Lucia actually were pretty close.
- Fuuka and Lucia would talk often, and Fuuka would often ask for Lucia's help.
- Which, Lucia is happy to provide. Both of them work great in battle, even though they don't do too much combat wise.
- But other than that, Lucia helps Fuuka out with her many problems in life, like her parents or her femininity problems.
Fuuka and Juno
- After Fuuka realizes that one is not truly alone, Lucia becomes Juno.
- Juno and Fuuka become closer and Juno gives Fuuka lots of advice, too.
Ken and Nemesis
- Ken and Nemesis were close.
- Nemesis heavily encourages Ken to find his mother's killer. But, he does tell Ken that it takes time.
- So, Nemesis is partially responsible for Ken's actions by heavily encouraging it.
- Nemesis is kinda what keeps bring Ken down to a depressive state. So, That's why Ken isn't really in a good place mentally.
- And, Ken lets Nemesis' constant remindings of his mother's death happen. Which helps neiter of there situations.
Ken and Kala-Nemi
- Until, Nemesis becomes Kala-Nemi.
- In which, Ken and his Persona's relationship become much more healthy.
- Kala-Nemi does try and make their relationship better, which does work out.
- After lot of bonding, Ken and Kala-Nemi are very close.
- Kala-Nemi and Cerberus do become close, as Ken and Koromaru did. Which, if the team did Partner Attacks, would be a really good and cool attack.
Koromaru and Cerberus
- Koromaru and Cerberus are very close.
- As, sometimes Koromaru feels like only Cerberus can understand him.
- So, when Koromaru didn't feel like being around S.E.E.S. Koromaru would find a secluded spot and talk with Cerberus. Cerberus would competely understand Koromaru's pain, and comfort him about it.
- But, Cerberus does encourage Koromaru to stay with S.E.E.S.
- Cerberus has a soft spot for Koromaru's human teammates, as, he often will protect them from Shadows, even when he can't help.
- Cerberus also advises Koromaru on battle tactics, which is why Koromaru is so good in battle.

Persona 3, LeaderxAigis and Yukari for three fandom meme?
(under a cut for length!)
Favorite character: Shinjiro Aragaki
Least Favorite character: Honestly, recently Ikutsuki
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Shinji/Theo, Metis/Ryoji, Minato/Akihiko, Fuuka/Mitsuru, Elizabeth/Aigis
Character I find most attractive: ...Mitsuru i guess?
Character I would marry: Shinjiro I guess?
Character I would be best friends with: Metis :V
A random thought: Will Metis be in DMN?
An unpopular opinion: The Answer isn’t as bad in the character department as everyone thinks. They’re not all OOC and esp with Yukari you can see signs of her falling back into toxic mindsets and habits
My canon OTP: Don’t really have one?
Non-canon OTP: Shinji/Theo
Most badass character: Shinjiro tbh
Pairing I am not a fan of: There’s a lot. Um, let’s go with one that I’m more neutral on: Minato/And SEES girl
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Shinji being there just to cause character development in others kinda has me shaking my head
Favourite friendship: The entirety of SEES, best Persona friendship
--
when or if I started shipping it.: I don’t really ship it tbh
my thoughts: Its cute, makes me a bit sad, but it’s cute
What makes me happy about them: Aigis always wants to protect them and I think that’s cute, and in the Arena games she calls him her “special friend”
What makes me sad about them: The entirety of endgame The Journey and all of The Answer
Things done in fanfic that annoys me: Don’t read fic of them
Things I look for in fanfic: See above
My kinks: ????
Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I like Minato with Akihiko mostly and Aigis with Elizabeth
My happily ever after for them: Minato is revived and he and Aigis get to be friends and see each other again.
--
How I feel about this character: I really do like her and appreciate her character a lot. She’s one of the characters I feel is the most human out of the P3 cast
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Junpei, maybe Fuuka
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Mitsuru
My unpopular opinion about this character: Her actions in the Answer aren’t OOC and you can see them coming a mile a way from the first scene in the entire section of the game
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Hmmmm, platonic route with Minato in her SLink, but that’s my wish for all girls
My OTP: Junpei/Yukari
My OT3: Junpei/Yukari/Fuuka...?

Hey!!! Good luck buddy, to help ya start off how about headcanons for the p3 boys reacting to their s/o who's steadily going blind?
thank you! this was a little tough to do, but I know people who are fully blind and I have glasses myself, so I hope it was accurate!
Minato:
Minato would, of course, be completely understanding of your condition.
Once you told him, he would tell you he already knew. He had noticed how you were having trouble seeing things, and was just waiting for you to tell him yourself. He felt terrible seeing you go through it and was glad you told him.
After that day, he would always be supportive of you in every way possible. Even though he doesn’t talk much normally, if you told him you were having trouble that day he would be there to tell you anything you couldn’t see yourself.
He learned braille so he could understand what you were reading once you went fully blind, and gave you notes occasionally that had phrases on it in braille. The first one he gave you said ‘I love you’ on it.
On bad days, he would change his hairstyle to have both his eyes free, just so he could be your eyes fully. Not only did it cheer you up seeing him look like that, it made you happy to know your boyfriend would do that for you.
He would always hold your hand and guide you everywhere, not caring about the strange looks people gave him. He promised he would always be your light, and he truly was in every way.
Junpei:
Junpei was honestly shocked when you told him you were going blind. You hadn’t shown too many signs of it, and he felt so bad that he didn’t notice sooner.
He was always at your side after that, even more than normal, making sure to help you whenever you needed it.
Even though Junpei isn’t the best at learning things, he was determined to know how to read braille, just for you! You were really embarrassed when you heard from one of your shared friends that he got caught studying it in class.
He told you afterward that it was worth getting yelled at if it was for you, S/O!
Sometimes he didn’t understand what you could and couldn’t do because of your eyesight, so you were often explaining how glasses wouldn’t help, etc. He always apologized if he misunderstood things, but you made sure he never felt too bad about it. After all, blindness was uncommon enough that not many people fully understood it.
Junpei was the best boyfriend you could have asked for, and he was always there for you whenever you needed it. You were so grateful to have him, and he was so proud that he was worthy to be yours.
Akihiko:
Akihiko was the most understanding out of anyone. Once you expressed your worries of going blind, he comforted you the best he could. He knows what it is like to feel powerless, since he lost his sister, and he doesn’t want you to feel like that too.
Even though he knew his fanbase would get angry and do something about it, he was always there with you and helped you when you needed it. He held onto your hand everywhere, making sure you knew he was always there beside you.
His fanbase did try to do something at one point. They tried to trip you when you couldn’t see it, and many other things. Since he was always there with you, though, they were never able to succeed. He would never let anyone do something like that to his precious S/O.
Even though you couldn’t see well, you always attended his boxing matches to support him with the rest of the S.E.E.S. members. It came as a surprise one day that the brochure for the match setup was in braille, meaning so you could read it easier when your eyes were bad.
You asked him if he was the one who did it after the match, and with a flushed face he said yes. He explained that he felt bad that people like you couldn’t see what it said, so he made the braille version himself just for you.
You felt so extremely lucky to have Akihiko as your boyfriend, and he felt just as lucky to have you. He would do anything to help you feel more comfortable in your life.
Shinjiro:
Shinjiro wasn’t the easiest to tell, even though you knew his tough exterior wasn’t how he truly felt. Once you finally told him, though, he hated himself for not being the type of person you wanted to open up to. He promised he would be a better boyfriend to you from then on.
He never was publicly affectionate with you before, but after that day he always made sure you knew how much you meant to him. Ignoring the looks people gave both of you, he always held your hand. The people who knew him as a bad person were constantly spreading rumors about him, but you made sure they never got to him. You both didn’t mind them, and Shinjiro would do anything for you.
He learned braille, cooked for you, and helped you with anything you needed. People were surprised to see that side of him, especially people close to him like Akihiko and Mitsuru.
You caught him once reading online about cures for blindness, and how far along doctors were to making it. You were happy that he cared that much, but made sure he knew you weren’t that upset about losing your eyesight. After all, he was always going to be there to guide you in the darkness.
He promised to himself that he would one day tell you his own condition, and that he would find a way to truly always be by your side.
Ryoji:
Ryoji would feel terrible that someone as kind as you had to go through something like this. He would promise you instantly that he would always be there for you.
He had stopped being flirtatious with other people once you had started dating, but it was extremely noticeable after that. He would always be there for you, and would deny any offer of hanging out with people who were seemingly interested him. He made sure you knew he would never leave your side for another’s.
Although he felt that he wasn’t good enough on some days, you made sure he always knew how much he meant to you. Ryoji was the only person you wanted, and that wasn’t going to change just because he couldn’t help you sometimes.
He tried his hardest to do everything he could to prove he was worthy of being by yours, including learning braille. Like Junpei, he wasn’t that good in school, but since it was for you he didn’t mind it. He told you that if it could help you in the future, he would do anything!
Although he promised to always be your eyes, he knew the day when he could no longer do so was coming. He did everything in his power to make sure you would always know how much he loved you and made all of your friends promise to be there for you when he couldn’t.
You didn’t quite understand what he meant, but he made it clear he couldn’t explain. For now, he would be your eyes and help you adjust to becoming blind.
