I am begging anet to release a unified strike hub. Or let us join any strike from any existing hub if we own the expansion they’re from. OR just stick a portal for them in the aerodrome.

Right now if I want to do SotO, IBS and EoD strikes I have to go to the 3 most distant corners of the map, the waypoints being 11 silver each time. And I know there are portal scrolls but I do strikes on essentially all my characters and that’d take up 3 of my 4 inventory slots. It’s also inconvenient having to wait the loading times, especially if your internet is wobbly and the whole squad is waiting on you.

Like, it’s not the biggest issue, but it is increasingly frustrating and if we go somewhere completely new in the next expac and get new strikes it’ll just feel even worse.

you know what's honestly wild? those aren't even all of the promo images that exist. there were only six listed for 2x08 (and there's definitely more because we've seen some that aren't in that folder) and there's no folders for 1x09/1x10. somewhere out there there's still more to discover!

Job hunting is an absolute nightmare because it's like I have a million reasons to need this job and the money from it and it's basically like telling the job that I'm pretty much their bitch because I need the money, and they'll just reject you because you didn't downright worship a company or bc you were honest on the application personality quiz

not to be another donations post but you may remember how over the summer we had massive amounts of plumbing problems and other unexpected moving costs? well. after proceeding to work every single hour available to me for six months, take no holidays whatsoever, and budget the hell out of every aspect of my life, I was actually on track to pay everything back and maybe have a little bit of wiggle room by the time summer came around!

and then we got a call from the vet about routine labs saying that if we didn't take Suzy in to an emergency specialty hospital immediately, she would die within in a week, she might die anyways if we took her there, but it was our only chance to have a few more months with her. after an extremely difficult household discussion, we decided that we needed to do as much as we could for her. she's been a beloved member of the family for 18 years. we were not going to abandon her in her hour of need.

with two days at the specialty hospital, the prognosis was better than we could have possibly hoped! the most important thing is she does not have heart problems at all, which means that we can treat her chronic kidney disease with normal IV fluids and with careful treatment she could easily be with us for years to come. the timely intervention also may or may not have saved her from acute kidney failure too, we'll know when we go back to the vet on Wednesday to get her blood checked where her levels have stabilized at.

two days at the specialty hospital means we are also down $3652 , and no longer are on track to pay back everything by July when it comes due unless a couple of uncertain things going forward Go Right, I do not trust everything to Go Right, and we're also still uncertain about what long-term treatment going forward is going to cost.

I still have my ko-fi and my patreon, but honestly, I'm aware that everything is tight for everyone always and there are also a lot of causes that need money right now and in the face of that "hey my family went super out on a limb to try to save our cat and would love some help not falling off" feels kind of shallow. but like. not to sound dumb or like a youtuber or podcaster, but, like. honestly I think the Most Helpful Thing that anyone could do for me right now is take a fucking HelloFresh link that will send you a "free" box for cost-of-shipping ($7ish?) if you Sign Up For An Account that you can then cancel Immediately After The Box Has Shipped and Never Give Them Any More Money Than That and get Six To Ten Meals Out Of It, and for getting someone to "sign up", they will give me a free box too. like. if 13 people are willing to take a link then I don't need to worry about food for the next three months. which would be. I dont have an account on the website you're hosting Time and Time again on, but I just wanted to say that I finally delve into it and binge read it in two days because it was just SO GOOD! You're really good at just. conveying so much with so little (the ''little'' being the frame of a webcomic its self and not like say, an animation) and your writing is really inspiring. I originally followed you for the midwestern church art you drew (At least thats what i remember that drawing was? I'm so sorry if not skjl;afjkld) and just. through and through your art is so inspirational.

And no worries, I understand what you mean by "little" in this context. comics are an incredibly beautiful medium, but the framework of my story definitely would be best suited for something like TV, and trying to fit as many intricacies and nuances as possible into an "episode" is extremely hard haha

In a moving medium you just get to fit "more"... subleties of emotion and conveyed with music, you get controlled timing, minor expressions, quick shots, the actors themselves bring infinitely real layers to a performance - all things that simply can't be conveyed the same through single images all controlled by one person. Plus, you can just fit a lot more story/events into a 22/42 minute episode than you can into a 130 page comic, even though they end up taking about the same time to get through!

Of course I love comics and I want to keep making them as long as I can <3 This isn't to knock the medium at all, cause it definitely comes with unique perks over TV as well!!! It's like working in watercolor versus digitally. But I do appreciate you noticing the limitations of the medium and showing my work love regardless!
