I'm not sure she understands what has to happen. I slide a steel cannula over the trocar in my right hand.

She's misread me. She bucks her hips slowly as I straddle her and run my hand down her ribcage. My palm brushes the soft side of her belly as I reach the final rib. I trace the tip of the trocar over her until I'm halfway between the rib and her iliac crest. She whimpers as I press the tip into her side. The flesh yields, red beads at my tip and I drive sixish inches of steel through her gut and into the offending organ. I trap her waist between my thighs and hold her at the wrists to stop her squirming as I remove the trocar and leave the cannula held in place by the tightness of her newest hole. A thin trickle of blood from the wound trails down her belly. If I move too slow, she'll self lubricate these walls and the trocar will be forced out by the gasping breaths she's taking as she struggles under me.

I pour PDMS Solution into the cannula and wait. She tucks her head between her arms and pleads with me to pull it out.

Nothing, she's still fucked up on high protein grasses. The foam in her gut's too thick and the gas boiling off in her gut still can't find its way out.

I pull the cannula out and get her to her feet. She hates this. She wants to throw up but can't. The bloodstain around her hole grows as gravity pulls her in a new direction. Staggered, we walk over soggy clover to the pole fence. I pin her up against it with my full weight. I tie her legs together, then her arms. Still struggling, she hasn't given up yet. She makes a good cow. A few passes over her head and a harness takes form. I let up my weight a bit and she falls to her knees. I smash her head into the fencepost and bind her to it while she's dazed.

Okay, one long cut along a langer line centered on the new fistula. I open that portal to her gut into a wide fresh slit. She comes to as I slide my hand knuckle deep into her new pussy and spread her open. I'll be honest, there's less blood than you'd probably think. Out of this part of her, her blood is dark like an onyx syrup and flows like a slow curtain. She spasms a little and tears well up in her eyes, but she realizes pretty fast she doesn't want to move right now. That thick protein foam bubbles up from within her bound organs. I might have left this one alone too long.

I gotta go check the fence on her pen. I don't think she'll survive the next one.

HELLO, just wanted to let you know that me and a friend of mine liked your critique essay on UTY so much that we spent the good part of an hour quoting it and discussing it back and forth. it was that special kind of catharsis you only get seeing someone point out the same flaws you saw. sorry for the long ask, but i wanted to share a few of our observations on the character writing.

hard agree about the original characters not leaving a huge impression. as a fellow enjoyer of morally grey women i especially share your disappointment with ceroba. and while her (and chijin's) portrayal in the story brushing past their horrible actions is problematic like you said, i think the underlying issue is more structural.

you know that trope of the Male Hero with Dead Wife Backstory? the only way i can describe my impression of the ketsukane storyline is if they'd swapped the roles of who died in that trope, and STILL managed to give the male character more agency in the story than his alive wife. i mean what... is Ceroba's role in the story aside from acting as a postmortem extension of Chujin's. Who IS Ceroba by herself when she isn't being defined by her role as Wife and Mother. The main sign that this was overlooked, imo, is how it's taken for granted that Ceroba even takes up Chujin's will at all. I mean, she's a housewife who grew up as a farmer. Why on earth would she have the necessary expertise to even attempt something like that? Either 1) Chujin already did everything for her (which, once again, sure doesn't give her own actions much of any bearing on the plot) or it's just taken for granted that she would. Because Ceroba's character is Good Wife, and a good wife would fulfill her husband's last will. No need to question that.

In addition, it's like the writing didn't want to commit to her delusions and little character development. She feels that her daughter is alive and thinks she can save her—wait no that was a lie—wait it wasn't. The moment she's defeated she goes "Agh, what was I thinking!" out loud (which is already a questionable writing choice imo but i digress), and recognizes that sacrificing Clover for her plans is horrible... and then 5 seconds later Clover chooses to sacrifice themself to break the barrier and whoops nevermind she's suddenly the one getting the others onboard with the idea... wait. didn't she say she was making the serum because the humans would've only slaughtered them again if they broke the barrier? oh wait wasn't that also chujin again? whoops.

It's not a matter of things being contradictory—grief can be just that, which I'm assuming is what the story wanted to drive at—it's a about it being inconsistent. And the result is that she just rings hollow to me.

this is such a good analysis of why the Ceroba plotline doesn't quite work, and I'm so glad you shared it! you're right. it is super disappointing that her entire role is just to be an extension of her husband's character, and we don't know who she is outside of "the good wife" and mother.

regarding grief and inconsistency-- I think that stories ultimately need to be held to a higher standard than real life. Real life, obviously, doesn't follow a three-act plot structure and things can and do happen for no reason, and sometimes there is no closure, and so on. But everything in fiction is expected to be there for a reason-- this is why "Chekov's gun" exists. Ceroba's inconsistent feelings about sacrificing Clover or Kanako's current status could be seen as indicative of grief, but it also makes for a poor story.

I feel like the "Kanako is alive still maybe in Alphys's lab" plotline may have been dropped because this can't really be answered in a meaningful way and still line up with canon Undertale. Kanako can't be alive and fallen down because we don't see her in the True Lab in Undertale, but she also can't be an amalgamate because we don't see her in any of the amalgamates (because, you know, she doesn't exist in canon Undertale). I guess you could say she's in a Memoryhead or something? It's an interesting idea to show the grief of one of the families who sent a loved one to Alphys's determination experiment, but the way Ceroba flip flops back and forth and then ultimately stops talking about it feels unfulfilling.

I would have liked to have seen any sort of resolution that doesn't require a direct answer about Kanako-- maybe Ceroba feeling unworthy of facing Kanako again after what she did, at least not yet. Or Ceroba accepting that Kanako is likely dead and she was clinging to the belief that Kanako could be alive out of her own grief, and putting ultimately faith in Alphys rather than charging further into science that she doesn't- and doesn't want to- understand.

I think Ceroba's lack of agency is especially reflected in her alleged friendship with Martlet. Sure, Martlet worked with Chujin, so we can reasonably believe that Martlet came to know his wife. But to my memory, we don't see them talk (outside of the true pacifist route finale, I suppose. We know that Ceroba releases Martlet from prison finally, but do you think she did that because they're friends or because someone had to reasonably let Martlet go eventually?). What's their relationship based on besides Chujin? Do you think they would have a bond going forward after the end of UTY? What are Ceroba's interests besides being a wife and a mom-- do you think Martlet would introduce her to making puzzles? Do you think they ever explored each others b

I think it could be argued that she has agency because she chose to experiment on Kanako when Chujin asked her not to, but I would argue in return that it's barely her own decision-- he left her no other way to really complete his work except to involve Kanako. How many other boss monsters are there? If we believe that this random guy could be a boss monster, then I suppose there could be more just out there, but that idea isn't explored-- and if there were more out there, then her decision to involve Kanako in the experiments only feels more foolhardy.

The inconsistency aspect is a great point, and I wish I had included that in my original post, haha. The problem isn't just that we don't get time to process Ceroba's plot and character development (supposedly-- I also think the "oh, what have I done?" aspect feels sudden and unsatisfying) after her boss fight, it's that she immediately changes her stance afterward. So, why did we have this fight to begin with? I remember when Clover was sacrificing their soul, I had this reaction like, "wait, they're really just going to hand it to her specifically after all that?" Lmao.

This is minor and very subjective, but another reason I like the "Asgore lost his wife and son" plot but don't like the "Ceroba lost her husband and daughter" plot as much (besides the whole Asriel & Chara storyline being much more impactful and related to Undertale's main plot than the Chujin & Kanako storyline) is that divorce is inherently just a million times funnier than a dead spouse. Toriel didn't die, she straight up left Asgore for a 3'4" short king she met through knock-knock jokes and then tells Asgore to go fuck himself in the pacifist ending. She's allowed to have agency and be someone outside of the (ex-)wife and the mom. It's awesome, and Ceroba's characterization (or lack thereof) feels like a step backwards in comparison.

Small(ish) tweaks I'd make to the Konoha 12 and their senseis

Just a little thought of mine. I sat here pondering changes I'd make to the K12 in order to give them more development and relevance in the story. I find most of them to be underrated. These are just a few brainstorming ideas on how I'd rework them. Lemme know if you have questions!

Kakashi--Controversial idea; remove the sharingan and make his copy ninja reputation a power that the Hatake clan possesses. Plus give more detail on his time with the Anbu and more info on the Anbu in general.

Naruto--I'd probably make him less brash and rude, still being respectful to others. Basically like Asta from Black Clover; it makes sense for him to be respectful to those in power if he wants to be in a position of power someday. I'd also make it known that his father was the 4th Hokage early on; it was kinda obvious from the get-go.

Sasuke--Give him more moments of sympathetic character. He cares about others, but he isn't revered by the village as some hero; rather everyone gives him space out of fear of his power (and revenge agenda) as well as feeling bad for what he went through but not really knowing how to communicate this to him.

Sakura--Make her Inner Sakura character a powerful genjutsu technique passed down from the Haruno clan, maybe in the form of a kekkai genkai--not quite on Byakugan/Sharingan level, but close. I'd also remove her mom since Tsunade becomes more of a mother figure than her mom was in the series. Her dad would be a regular person rather than a ninja, having low self-esteem and accidentally passing this onto Sakura by being critical of her as a ninja. I'd also have her train with Kurenai as well as Tsunade during the time skip to hone her genjutsu skills since her dad can only help her so much. I'd also have her crush on Sasuke be more substantial, as it starts off as a little crush, than sympathy, than full-on respect and love when she joins a team with him. Plus make her less rude and aggressive (outside the battlefield, of course).

Kurenai--Give her more screentime to be characterized as the greatest genjutsu user in the village; the original series really does her dirty. Plus give more on her relationship to Asuma, showing her frequent interactions with his team, leading her to teaching Ino genjutsu as well (kinda fits with the plant theme, huh?)

Shino--Definitely underrated. I'd give more focus on his backstory and showcase both of his parents and his clan, not just his dad (who doesn't get much appearance, anyway). Especially focus on how his abilities work; it's pretty shocking how his clan goes about it.

Kiba--Maybe scale back on how much of a jerk he was originally, and make him a rival to Naruto. Whereas Sasuke was a philosophical rival to Naruto, Kiba is a career rival to Naruto, wanting to be the next Hokage. I always felt bad for forgetting that he wanted to become Hokage and that the series never really focused on it much. Also show more of his clan and give him a deeper backstory (maybe diving more into how his mom ran away his dad and how that affected him).

Hinata--Since Kishimoto apparently only planned for the village to only have 100 ninjas, Hinata is a legacy ninja, being the child of the head of the Hyuga clan, so I'd probably make her a bit more motivated, so that she doesn't always need Naruto in order to get that boost of energy, especially considering how her team supports her. I'd also make her dad kinder to her (seeing how soft he got in Boruto, but hey, that's grandparents for you!), with him only being tough because they're in war and the losses he faced. He doesn't see her as useless, but he doesn't think she's up to leading the clan.

Asuma--DEFINITELY focus more on him being the 3rd Hokage's son. Why is this detail always buried?! Maybe focus more on his childhood as a result of this, as well as his romance with Kurenai, and trying to make sure the next generation of Ino-Shika-Cho carries on their legacy.

Shikamaru--Pretty much the same, but make him skilled in medical ninjutsu, given that his clan has a GIANT medical book. It'd make him an even more awesome ninja, plus it's possible Ino would teach him what she learned from Tsunade (though he does learn some things from his dad). His mom should also make more than just a background appearence, imo.

Choji--The same, except showing his parents more, as well as the legacy he has to uphold, maybe even the issues he faces with people making fun of his weight despite his clan needing to consume a lot of calories.

Ino--Make her more than just a Sasuke stan; maybe it's a little crush that makes a rivalry with Sakura, but they're not nearly as cruel with each other. Learning genjutsu from Kurenai as well as medical training and strength enhancements from Tsunade, I'd definitely say she climbed the ranks of ninja!

Guy--Pretty much the same.

Lee--Pretty much the same, but give more info on his background (ie family) before becoming a ninja.

Neji--Show more of his background, especially the pain of being in the branch family and what happened after his visit with Hiashi following his loss at the chunin exams. I like the idea that he still believes in fate, but believes you make your own, somewhat combining his and Naruto's philosophies.

Tenten--GIVE HER MORE ATTENTION! We don't know anything about her family or life, or how she even learned to be so good with various ninja weapons.

🍀 - What originally inspired the OC?

Autumn: At the time, I was getting into Webtoons for the first time (though after a lifetime of being into webcomics as a whole) and as an experiment, I tried to engineer the most generic female lead from the tropes I currently liked reading. That basically culminated as three main influences:

Shin-Ae Yoo from I Love You. I wanted to make a story with a protagonist that was spunky, but not bubbly, despite all the hardships she had to deal with in her life. A lot of Autumn's voice in my head is very much like Shin-Ae's still.

Amy from Space Boy. I wanted to make a story about an outsider, a fish out of water, slowly finding her place in the world while at the same time finding common ground with a fellow outsider. Both my approach and the source material took a very different route eventually.

Ava Ire from Ava's Demon. This is another influence that stuck around more closely, though originally Wrathia's dynamic with Ava was originally intended to be a parallel with Autumn and Winter, who later became cousins rather than haunted soul-evil tulpa.

Vernon: Like Autumn, I made Vernon originally as a way to try and engineer a comic I'd want to read. He wasn't originally a homunculus, just a cringe little witch. But here are his top three:

Kody from LUMINE. I originally wanted to do something with a witch that couldn't do magic conventionally, a theme that I ended up splitting in half with Autumn as well.

Winter from Winter Woods. This was the first true Frankenstein romance Webtoon I'd read, and despite everything I've got a really special place in my heart for it. You can thank Winter for Vernon's eyebrows.

Oliver from Space Boy. This one was primarily to complete the set with Amy as Autumn, but his arc actually has stayed pretty close to the way Vernon developed as a character! Or at least, it feels that way to me.

✨- How did you come up with the OC’s name?

Autumn: Both Autumn and Vernon are relics from when the project was named "Seasonal Depression", which was an early version of the project where Autumn was being haunted by Winter and Summer, a left-right brain pastiche. Her family name of Saffworth refers to both her hair, the exorbitant price of saffron the spice, and the little purple flowers on the saffron plant. Flaxsong, her adoptive family's surname after she runs away, is intended to evoke both their fiber business and history of bardic storytelling.

Vernon: Vernon was designed as Autumn's foil, so he had to be named a spring name. Simple as. Helfeather was mostly just the edgiest dark-witch name I could come up with. (He was originally supposed to be Vernon Helfeather-Cravitz--Cravitz was the surname of his nonmagical deadbeat dad. He now doesn't have a dad at all!)

🌼 - How old are they? (Or approximate age range)

Autumn: She starts the story at 15, but she was 12 when she officially ran away from home. I have aus where she's in her 30s as well, as I also have a few stories dedicated to their eventual children.

Vernon: Vernon is a weird one. He only has about 14 years worth of consistent memory and maturation at the beginning of the story, but he's been around for a few thousand years, rebooting and resetting like a bad computer. He'll eventually get to grow up a bit, and could be around indefinitely.

🌺- Do they have any love interest(s)?

They are each other's love interests! Autumn also has a lingering crush on her childhood friend, Olivia, but when they meet in the story Olivia already has a girlfriend. Vernon has never gotten close to people before Autumn in that way.

🍕 - What is their favorite food?

Autumn: She's famously very picky as for most of her life before the Bloodmaker woke up, she couldn't eat most things without getting sick. During this phase of her life, it was probably bread and butter, not toasted. After the Bloodmaker wakes up and she grows comfortable with trying new things, she finds she really likes spicy foods. She'd love a sichuan hot pot broth or a classic tteokbokki.

Vernon: He physically has no tastebuds or need to eat. It's sticks.

💼 - What do they do for a living?

Autumn: After the events of the story she actively turns away from the medical field and dives into the Flaxsong family business. She manages sales and helps manufacture fabric. She especially enjoys dyeing thread and coming up with cool skeins.

Vernon: Vernon has always wanted to have a very public-facing magical research career, giving Nobel Prize speeches and whatnot. However after he's finally allowed to go to school and graduate he realizes he's way too socially awkward for that. Now he just tinkers in his garage and stays at home with the kids.

🎹 - Do they have any hobbies?

Autumn: Autumn likes watching horror movies (which don't exist in her setting, but, y'know, a girl can dream) and making shitty little dolls (either with fabric or, y'know, flesh). She also would LOVE a violent video game....

Vernon: Vernon enjoys people-watching, drawing, and reading. Although he craves being with people, he's also probably one of my more introverted characters.

🎯🥊 - What do they do best? What do they love to do? What do they hate to do?

Autumn: Autumn has an innate sense for both her and other peoples' physical bodies and anatomy both per the Bloodmaker and her time as a Saffworth having it drilled into her head. She hates engaging with that kind of magic except on her own terms, though. She's adept at but doesn't enjoy magical healing because she's aware of its capacity to harm. She learned to enjoy working with textiles and has gotten pretty good at it over the years, though.

Vernon: Vernon has a lot of very small talents that he doesn't even know about fully, stored in his muscle memory. He's also a very fast reader and usually had pretty good information retention despite his memory issues. He loves learning new things and trying to come up with creative ways to approach problems that accommodate his needs better. However, he hates putting himself in even minorly risky situations, because he hates the threat of losing all of his progress every time he gets a small injury.

❤️ - What is one of your OC’s best memories?

Autumn: Sometime midway into the story, possibly offscreen, there's some kind of mundane luncheon where both her adoptive guardians, Vernon and his family, and some of her friends are all spending a lazy afternoon together decompressing after a stressful week. Everyone is happy and lively and chatting together and well-fed.

Vernon: In one of Vernon's lingering first memories from when her resets in front of Autumn, and instead of recoiling in fear and disgust or a similar reaction, she instead helps cut him free of his husk and gives him a big hug.

✂️ - What is one of your OC’s worst memories?

Autumn: This one's tough but it's probably something from her childhood. I haven't fully ironed out all the Horrors but it was probably at the hands of her cousin, Winter, and it probably was what gave her the inertia to finally leave. She's got a lot of educational, medical, and familial trauma in general.

Vernon: The benefit of having chronic memory issues is he does tend to lose a lot of the bad memories, but one that lingers is an especially nasty one from a couple dozen years ago where he got injured, reset, freaked out whichever peers he was with, and that event started a chain reaction where he almost melted down. (read: went thermonuclear and exploded like a bomb)

🧊 - Is their current design the first one?

Autumn's outfit changed from being very preppy to just being cold at all times, but her hair has stayed pretty consistent. Vernon has always worn the same thing but the hoodie pattern/colors changed. Autumn: Honestly, she lends herself a little better to a political noble family drama story than what Animus Vitrum actually is, which is an adventure fantasy, but she also does pretty well in a modern setting.

Vernon: Vernon is PEAK sci-fantasy. Rogue alchemist's spawn. If anything, Tela is too mundane for his ass.

💚 - What is your OC’s gender identity and sexuality?

Autumn is a bisexual cis girl. As for Vernon, honestly , he's probably aspec to a degree, but he loves Autumn wholly. He's also physically speaking basically...intersex? Kind of? He doesn't have a lot of the built-in sexual characteristics to the degree of it causing him some discomfort. It's complicated.

🙌 - How many siblings does your OC have?

Autumn: No blood siblings, but she was raised alongside her cousin Winter. She's got a lot of cousins in general.

Vernon: Cy is an imperfect clone made from one of Vernon's old husks by Ozymandias to try and kill him. After they chill out a bit they're kind of like a sibling, sorta.

🍎 - What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like?

Autumn: BAD! Autumn's father was mostly neglectful of her and she only tended to interact with him when he was asking about her magical potential, and when he didn't receive the answer he wanted, he'd simply dismiss her. Her mother was more hands-on abusive, and had a penchant for pitting her against Winter constantly.

Vernon: He's got two moms and like, two not-dads. His moms are very sweet and they look out for him, but they have a tendency to be a little bit protective of him given his overall history and needs. Amelli in particular is also very concerned with the fact that Vernon's existence is technically a national security concern, where Clove is more worried about his emotional well-being. Vernon was technically created by a sorcerer a few thousand years ago and has kind of conflicting feelings about that. And then Ozymandias featured strongly enough in his more recent life to cause him a lot of problems, to say he doesn't like him is kind of an understatement.

🧠 - What do you like most about the OC?

Autumn: Autumn's managed to really worm her way into my friends' hearts with her pre-story quiet and shy demeanor. It's going to be exciting once I finally get around to writing her coming out of her shell. I'm looking forward to it.

Vernon: I'm very proud of Vernon's personal cocktail of gender issues, chronic physical/mental disability issues, and of the way he hatches from his own skin like a cicada. He just exudes such potent narrative vibes and I'm always a little in awe of it.

✏️ - How often do you draw/write about the OC?

Not as frequently as I have in years past, if I'm being honest. I did rp both Autumn and Vernon a few years back with @the-goblin-cat's Cherise and Neville to try and figure out their voices and I vastly enjoyed doing that. I've mostly just been both too busy with commercial projects and writing Exordium, but also too intimidated by the project to make solid headway into it.

💎 - Do you ever see yourself killing off the OC?

Autumn: Not really, except as a fakeout with the Bloodmaker. She's textually immortal due to it, and I have too many plans for her going forward in the story.

Vernon: Also not really, though if we're splitting hairs, he's kind of dying every few arcs and is also textually immortal, if not coming back changed.

💀 - Does your OC have any phobias?

Autumn: She's actually pretty fearless despite everything! She isn't very fond of pristine environments or disturbing imagery, but while she's able to easily avoid the first thing by allowing herself to take up space, the second she's actually been able to acclimate to it to a degree through the Bloodmaker and a burgeoning fascinating with horror media.

Vernon: He's rather squeamish. He has a tendency to be very careful whenever doing anything and will take any available precautions, as he's got a bad history with injury. He also tends to be very guarded and reserved emotionally, even with his friends, though it tends to just look like his normal bubbly self.

🍩 -Who is your OC’s arch-nemesis or rival?

Autumn: Her cousin Winter is an early antagonist and hurdle for Autumn to overcome. While Winter does have her own cluster of problems from her upbringing, she and Autumn's dynamic is bad for both of them, and Autumn finally being able to beat Winter at something sets Winter on a path towards getting her shit together. She and Vernon also share her other cousin, Emrys, as a nemesis, as he's kind of the antithesis to her "puppet of the family bloodline" narrative.

Vernon: Vernon has TWO arch-nemeses, their clone/sibling Cy, a fellow homunculus, and Autumn's cousin Emrys, who has pretty similar aspirations to him.

🎓🍥 - How long have you had the OC? What age were you when you created the OC?

I made both of these guys close to the same time, in roughly late high school, probably something like 18. (I'm currently 24, as of writing this, which makes this project 6 years old.) I was in the throes of teenaged hormones and this was a great way for me to vent in the moment, but I've since matured out of/moved away from the issues that incited a lot of the edgier subject matter central to this story. In the time since, I've also begun to reapproach teenagedom from the perspective a teacher working with this age-group, so this kind of change in perspective is also what's contributing to all the changes I've made to these characters.

This is Gailine, she's a new oc for the Eda raises two gods AU, her mom is a therapist, she's going to be Enzo's only friend eventually, one of the two people they trust outside of Eda and King. She wants to be a beast keeper when she grows up, she loves animals and is very good with them. She 100% has ADHD and is a wild child.

Palisman/pets: 2 Cat Snakes, a scorpion dogish beast demon, an echo mouse and a Blossom Bat. Later she gets a Griffin buddy and a Sea Wolf.

Family: Clover Margay(mother) Eibhlín(other mom)

She was born with phocomelia, it's a condition that causes someone to be born without limbs or with under developed limbs, she was born without her right arm from her shoulder down so she uses an abomination prosthetic.

She absolutely loves animals of any kind and is always able to connect and make friends with them. She wants to be a beast keeper and she thinks the beast keeping coven is the best and she will fight anyone who denies her on it.

She is the animal kid. She is always reading up on animals and their behaviors and how she can best befriend them and ways she might communicate with any animal. She knows a lot of random animals facts that she sometimes blurts out because it's so cool that Sea Wolves (not a canon creature, I added it) can swim in the boiling water without getting hurt at all.

She could info dump about animals for days.

She'd love to meet Eberwolf and just talk with them about all the animals and things she's figured out that you can do with beast magic and all these animal thing, she would absolutely lose her shit if she got that oppertunity.

She can sometimes be a bit much in terms of her personality and how she expresses herself and says what she's thinking so she doesn't forget it but she is a really caring, sensitive person and if you just tell her that something is bothering you, she'll do whatever you need and wait til you're okay. (How her adhd is expressed is based on the way mine expresses because that's what I know, I do have a friend and cousin with adhd but my friend has other stuff that will effect her behavior and I'm not around my cousin all the time to understand how hers expresses, I'm sure I will soon though.)

Gailine's also got that oh so nice adhd fuck me and my problems, let me avoid, take care and help you with your problems, mine can totally wait.

She likes to help people and animals and she's very friendly.

She's going to be Enzo's one and only friend outside of the owl house once they meet and start talking. They will bond over animals and being gremlins sometimes.

Yes, the background for the two images is the same, I made a decent one and decided to just go with it for both. You'll probably see it again cause backgrounds are hard for me.

If anybody has an experience with things like phocomelia and could give me tips or advice in how to write and approach it from a writing stand point, it would be greatly apreciated!

Roan probably doesnt even know what RSA is- if he gets lost, he has no idea how to bring him back, he'd also question a lot of the stuff he's collected

Pepper is a NO.

Wolfo, Creek and Poppet are also a NO. Mainly because Wolfo and Creek have had enough of RSA students making fun of Poppet and just automatically think anyone from there is gonna do the same

Seine probably actively tries to scare him at first before being friendly!

Toma probably developed a small crush on him (DO NOT CONFRONT HIM ABOUT THE DOODLES HE WILL BE VERY EMBARRASSED), absolutely head over heels about his singing, I imagine Toma accidently stabbed himself with one of the forks at some point and Cary is very confused as to why Toma doesn't feel it but somebody else does

Vysio is just a GIANT lady holding him in her hands- (I just like imagining giant women holding teeny tiny people ONSODBSLDN) She'd probably only ever leave him just outside RSA however because she's too nervous to step inside (probably introduces him to Yuta!)

Yuta is a blabber mouth, like a little parrot that wont shut up, so he's definitely rambling to him about something (wether its the most ridiculous thing or something more serious), they could show off their collections to each other!!! (Probably introduces him to Vysio!)

Astoria might try to convince him to put on the crown, especially since he seems "clumsy" or "gullible" (A BAD THING)

Elbarnes needs him to pass the clean check first (happens to everybody, including staff), but once that's over, he's more than glad to talk and be friendly! (Although if you show him the collection, he's cleaning everything regardless of how big it is)

Amos is genuinely confused about the sass/jealousy of popular singers on the surface, probably tries to help him get over it

Enid is very mom-friend like and definitely tried to help him not get lost all the time! SHE WONT LET ANYBODY HURT HIM-

Lorien is intimidated a bit by the height at first, but he'll get used to it! His neck probably hurt from looking up all the time though

Jessica is a NO. Because she envys his figure so much-

Oceana thinks he's really cute!!! Definitely tries to help him with his legs or probably picks him up if she can! She thinks his collection is cool and loves his singing voice!

Indira would probably pay more attention if he's with the fishes/in mer form, she just likes animals more than people💀

Torimiya probably intimidates him on accident in the beginning, but she'll slowly get close with him✨ She's just naturally a bit tough on the outside! ALSO WOULDN'T LET ANYONE HURT HIM

Asahise is definitely interested in the mer-form and probably rambling about something silly the first time they meet- Asahise is showing off their collection of plushies in exchange for getting to see his "junk" collection✨

Tokki is confused as to how he keeps getting lost- (he'd definitely try to help him out with that though!)

Jaiden would love to play the harp with his singing! Asks questions about life in the sea but also prone to rambling about space lol

Mindel is perplexed when he "steals" a fork and uses it for his hair...

Mindel will definitely ask questions about the sea life and fish friends though, he's just interested!

Frey is babbling about all of their plants and plant life, absolutely loses their shit over the fish friends (they think they're so cute!!!)

Mao is very quiet so he'll probably have to bend down/lean in to properly hear what he's saying

Charlene would also make things for him! You could take her as the mom or grandma friend, she'd definitely introduce him to her friends so its not just her (you may touch the bunny tail ONCE)

Deedee, Janus, "Dolly" and Birsha are a NO.

-Deedee would probably say she wants to take off his face

-Janus is just a terrible person (although honestly its a coin toss), he'd probably trick him into thinking their friends only to do something sinister

-"Dolly" is actually a parasite latching on to someone and she doesn't mind switching hosts if she thought it was worth it (although she mainly keeps to herself so they probably wont interact)

-Birsha will just get him in trouble💀

Lucinda thinks he's very sweet and helps him get back to RSA everytime he's lost (you will probably never catch her without the bear mask though), she's also a quiet one so you might need to lean in close!

Panko just registers him as a cute "little" fish! Would definitely get comfortable enough to sleep on/near him (please dont wake her up)

Canela is a NO because she is literally poisonous and doesnt want to hurt him or the fish friends

Best friend and Lover- Yami Sukehiro

One word, CHAOS!

The whole place was mess with children like teens running around the room yelling at each other. (Your Name) softly laughs as Yami breaks the building because they wouldn't stop wrecking the fort.

An awkward sweat on her face as she grabs his muscular arm. "Jeez big dude no need to add with the damage. Save that energy for the bedroom."

He puffs out smoke in her face and ruffles her hair. "What's got you all cheeky today?"

She tilts her head and lightly grabs his muscle shirt making him lean close. "Who else?" A devilish smirk placed on her face.

"Woah woah we should at least keep it pg 13, THeRe aRe cHilDRen ArOUnD!" Yami jokes as Asta slightly blushes at the two of them obviously flirting with each other.

"GET A ROOM!" Magna shout obviously flushed as (Your Name) just laughs and crashes on the couch with Vanessa.

"Ooo only you can make the 'romantic' side of captain come out." She slurs before taking another sip of her red wine.

Looking around the room she doesn't spot Yami, he was probably taking a shit on the toilet. If anything that was his only turn off she had about Yami.

"Wait how did you even meet him?" Noelle ask curious about the relationship the two of them had. Noelle was probably curious because she was secretly in love with Asta but wouldn't admit it.

(Your Name) was facing the discrimination of being an immigrant in the clover kingdom. Moving away from her home country to escape she ran away. With the very few money she had (Your Name) decided to join the magic knights.

It was even worse once she made it to the squad, her fighting technique was different and unique having only to use a sword no one really understood the fighting style.

(Your Name) was very lucky that day to be chosen by the Grey Deers, Julius was very welcoming and interested in her powers.

Adjusting to the life style and language was hard for her.

Many nights she wanted to cry and disappear. She didn't have a meaning in her life, she was living for what? She had no family, no friends. Julius was her friend but he was also busy as a captain, she wasn't his top priority.

Yami didn't come into the picture till a year later, he was also a foreigner facing discrimination found by Julius.

(Your Name) remembered that very day, she felt like a piece of home came towards her.

"(Your Name) I like you to meet Yami, he's the same as you! Look at his sword!" Julius cheers with sparkles in his eyes as Yami deadpans behind him.

"Osu, my name is Yami, nice to meet you." He flatly states with a cigarettes in his mouth.

The two of them became inseparable after that day, a reason also was because they understood each other. With language, culture, values and fighting styles the two were in sync as if they were partners for years.

"You use dark magic?" (Your Name) says one day as they trained together. "Pretty cool right? I think your's is unique too! Controlling the natural elements can become a advantage in battle."

A small blush forms on her face as she scoffs and punches his shoulder lightly.

"Whatever you say, I never felt special till Julius keep complimenting my magic to be honest."

Yami lays on the grass lighting a cigarette.

"I mean your not all that spec- OW!" He yells as she punches his stomach extra hard. "IM JOKING! I was about to say I didn't think you were all that special till I noticed how much in common we have.... jeez."

Pouting (Your Name) looks away with a blush.

"Whatever....jerk."

Yami laughs as they made their way back to the Grey Deers.

Now there was no secret that Charlotte was in love with Yami, often time (Your Name) would catch her slipping and staring at the muscular man.

"I'm not pretty compared to her, she's so beautiful with blue eyes and blonde hair."

The right word to place in (Your Name) was jealousy, she could never be that beautiful.

It's not like Yami was neglecting her but she notice the pair got closer especially when they both became captains.

Often times (Your Name) would walk away because she knew the feelings that Charlotte had for Yami and she was no bitch to not let them have alone time.

"Why do you always leave me?" Yami asks (Your Name) one night as they moved into their new fort.

"Why are you so oblivious Yami?" She says unpacking her belongings and carrying it into her room.

"What'd ya mean?"

"Oh for crying out loud Yami never mind!"

The door slammed as he stood behind it. "Jeez woman, I'm just concerned."

(Your Name) sighs and lay in bed. She didn't know when the feelings develop for Yami but they did.

They spent less time together as he started to work a lot more since becoming captain and she started to take more missions alone.

"Another mission, I know you are strong but do you really wanna go alone?"

"Yeah I'll be fine, I'm always fine."

Yami didn't worry about her a lot but the mission was suppose to last a week he didn't hear from her.

3 weeks past by and Yami got a message stating that (Your Name) returned in an unconscious state.

"I know she's strong but damn I should have gone to her." Yami tells Julius as he sat next to her.

"We underestimated the mission but (Your Name) succeeded. I'm very proud of her." The wizard king says looking at his formal students.

"Yami, I didn't expect you to worry so much."

"What'd ya mean she's basically my Vice Captain?" He said obliviously with straight eyes.

Julius smiles he knew Yami was oblivious and short minded when it came to many things.

"Why don't you tell her your real feelings now. It's been several years now hasn't it."

"Huh? Stop talking nonsense." Yami laughs as Julius pats his back before walking out. "Right Yami?"

His laughter disappeared as Yami looked down to the girl in bed unconscious.

"Get up (Your Name) you know I can't lead a team without you."

In her unconscious state, it was pitch black, but she could hear voices. She could hear when people visited her and who the voices were. Most of the time it was Yami talking about nonsense to her.

"What a loser, talking to me like I'm awake."

"Oi I know you are enjoying being in bed but don't smile like that. I'm not going to go easy on you when you wake up."

"Typical Yami."

A month pasted by and (Your Name) awakened. It was dark outside but warm like summer. She was feeling better and energetic surprisingly, despite that her muscle were a bit sore from laying in bed for long.

Deciding to stay another night or go back to the fort she made the decision to go home.

The place was dark as she opened the door, no sign of Yami.

Walking into her room most of her belongings were already set in place. Her personal belongings were neatly placed in the closet safely.

Walking down the hall to Yami room it was quiet and she could hear him snoring. Opening his room door she walks towards his bed.

"Hey loser get up." She pokes him but Yami was still in a deep state of sleep. "Pssst get you."

"Shut up brat, sleep somewhere else." He talks in his sleep as she scoffs but smiles after.

Yami awoken the next morning with (Your Name) asleep on the chair next to his bed.

"(Your Name)!" He yells causing her to jump from the loud voice.

"HEY MAN NOT COOL!" She pouts annoyed at his way of waking her up.

"When did they discharge you?"

"They didn't I left?"

"Classic you, I missed that." He says wrapping an arm around her as they walked to the kitchen for breakfast. "I heard what happen on the mission... I'm proud of you." He then tells her with seriousness in his voice.

She sat across from him with a faint blush. "Thanks... Soooooo?" An awkward silence fell upon them as they looked at each other.

"Yami."

"(Your Name)."

They call out in unison. Clearing his throat he proceeded taking her silence as his permission to speak.

"Ima say this plain and simple, I'm in love with you."

(Your Name) had to process his confession which surprised her because Yami was stupid.

"Really?" She laughs a bit, happy that they shared the same feelings.

"Ya got a problem with that?"

"I don't, I've loved you for a long time. You are my best friend after all."

They shared a sweet embrace as she cuddled into his arms, it wasn't like this was the first time they had been contact with skin to skin.

This time it was official and no confusion to how they felt for each other.

"But you have to admit that you were jealous of Charlotte!" He jokes as (Your Name) punched him across the room.

"YA! I'm going to get sad, stop it!" She pouts as Yami just smiles and picks her up.

"I'm joking my best friend and lover, whatever you wanna call it." Yami says with a goofy grin on his face.

Present time

"Wow thanks for telling them our love story, sweet really." Yami says from behind Vanessa, (Your Name) and Noelle.

"Oo captain I didn't know you were a gentleman to the ladies." Vanessa teases him poking his stomach.

"I'm not, (Your Name) and I go way back! It was easy to talk about 'my feelings'..... yuck ima go now." Yami says a bit embarrassed the squad knew their love story.

"Wait for me I wanna cuddle! I promise to keep it pg 13 for the kids!" (Your Name) hollers running after him.

I made some small references for all the current characters in Rulesrune! Yay! They took forever and probably around 20 to 30 minutes each.

The Contest

This is a personal contest I'm holding since I will be away at camp for a whole week and will literally have no contact with the outside world. None. So why not hold a contest?

What you'll be doing

Pretty much I want to see a swap AU of Rulesrune but find it to complicated myself. So I'm holding a contest to see who'll do it best.

Don't worry you will get something! There will be a prize for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners!

All you have to do is design what you think Rulesswap would look like! That's pretty much the minimum. You don't have to do all the characters but the more the better!

Prizes

1st place will get rights to the Ruleswap AU and two free drawing requests from me as well as a drawing of your version of the characters

2nd place will get two free drawing requests and a drawing of their version of the characters.

Lastly, 3rd place will get one free drawing request and a drawing of their version of the characters.

Character information.

This is to help you a bit.

In this AU it is MANDATORY for a Darkner to wear gloves when in the presence of a Lightner because when a Lightner and a Darkner touch bad thing can happen. Usually, the Darkner absorbs the Lightner, merging the two and making it impossible to separate them without killing one or both. Once a Darkner has absorbed a Lightner (this is usually not by choice) they can absorb other Darkners as well except they have a say in the matter since they're now "evened out".

Lancer is a smol bean at first. Due to an unfortunate,unforgettable, and unforgivable incident with his father he has a clawed gash across his face. Due to this, he's now color blind. He tends to asks Ralsei and Rouxls Kaard if he'll ever see a rainbow again. Unfortunately, he probably wont. Now later on Lancer finds Susie injured and attempts to help her, not knowing the gloves rule. This, of course, results in them merging and he now sees Susie as his invisible friend. In battle he uses a boomerang and when knocked out an axe will spin above him. Thats just Susie being over protective.

Rouxls Kaard Was just as cheerful as all usual until the incident happened or what the dark world likes to call it "The fall of the spades". After Lancer had been injured, Rouxls took it appon himself to get even with the spade king and by even I mean strait up beat the guy to a bloody pulp and toss him off the side of the castle. Of course, this most definitely killed the king and the kingdom was not happy. Rouxls, knowing about the geat door, took Lancer and C.Round to the door to escape. The guards chased them and they barely made it in. From then on they lived with Ralsei. Things were fine at first until the merging happened. Lancer had gone off and Rouxls was worried where he had run off too. So he went to go look for Lancer, accidentally passing him and Susie. He then found Kris who was concerned or at least curious where their friend went. Rouxls, not able to turn down any child at this point, agreed to help Kris find their friend when they heard Lancer yell "Dad! I'm lost!" Rouxls, in a rush, grabbed Kris and ended up merging with them. Rouxls Kaard is now a very very silent person and seems to have some personal grudge against Ralsei now, as if he knows something that he didn't before. Rouxls with occasionally talk to his soul but its very rare for him to talk at all. Rouxls use to lance in his pare time so uh..thats kinda how he attacks I guess.

Ralsei is alot taller than usual. He's about 6 feet, maybe a little shorter. This makes him a bit intimidating but Lancer loves him as if he was his own dad. Ralsei is kinda quiet but will talk if someone talks to him first. He's pretty nice and tends to take care of things when Rouxls needs a break. After Rouxls and Lancer's merging with the Lightners him and Rouxls haven't gotten along. They tend to fight (usually not physically because Lancer would notice) fairly often and it causes alot of tension. Lancer thinks his dads get along great so they have to at least pretend to like each other when smol bean is around. Ralsei, though very polite, has someone wrong. Very wrong. Its hard to describe but lets just say hes not all that he seems. He's been caught by Rouxls trying to absorb C.Round and Lancer wich has increased the distrust. No one knows who Ralsei merged with but he hates talking about it and seems to have developed a fear of flowers. Mostly big ones. Ralsei, even though he has poor eyesight, thends to avoid wearing his glasses because when he dose he freaks out. Ralsei is fairly skilled in fire magic due to him practicing alot. He also has vines, though extremely rare. He usually avoids using them at all costs and when he dose its purely accidental.

Jevil oh Jevil. Just as crazy as ever, maybe even more. He's still imprisoned but this time he wants to make a deal with you. He wants your soul. Jevil says that he can literally give you the world if you give him your soul. He'll sing about it during his fight and increasingly get more frustrated when you refuse. This Jevil loves to sing so more often then not he'll sing what he has to say. At the end if his fight, no matter how you defeated him, he'll turn into a scythe. Usually Lancer and Rouxls Kaard leave since they find the dungeon creepy but Ralsei will stay behind and take Jevil for himself.

Seam is the courtyard magician to the new king. Who's the new King? you'll find out later. He's a fairly straightforward cat and prefers to keep his magic acts as a profession. He admits that he misses Jevil but is to scared to go and see him again. He's afraid Jevil will be mad for imprisoning him. This leads Seam to be a bit jumpy since he thinks Jevil might have it out for him.

RK's C.Round dosent have much to be said about them. They fallowed Rouxls Kaard and Lancer to the great door. They lived with them kinda like a pet, keeping Lancer company and out of trouble. They're a great guard dog.

Asgore? You may be a bit confused. Why is Asgore in all of this? He's not even in the picture! Well do I have a story for you. You see, in the light world AKA hometown Asriel has been deemed missing since he went off to collage. Its been 3 years longer than he said and everyone was worried. So when Asgore went missing things got hectic. Undyne started doing more patrols and a curfew was set. Now, where do you think the last place Asgore was seen at was? It was the school. Asgore was helping fix some things and went to put something in the closet when he somehow entered the Dark World. There are multiple entrances and he just so happened to appear by the castle. The other kings had yet to be freed and the kingdom was in disarray so Asgore, being the kind hearted soul he is decided that he would be the new king. It took some convincing and research (as much as there could be) but he finally did it and the people are fairly happy.

Dogtrio is a set of 3 C/K.Rounds that work together. C/K.Rounds are more powerful in numbers. The one with the heart on his crown is their leader. He usually commands and heals the other two during battle. Together, combined, they can summon D.O.G. The acronym is unknown.

Robbert, Bobbert, and Elli are best if friends and like to change anyone. More specifically, they want to take down RK for killing the spade king. Unfortunately, they're just 3 idiots in a trenchcoat. The only lethal one is Robbert but he's so busy trying to make sure his friends don't fall off a clif or miss fire their bubble rocket launcher that he can't actually kill you. Bobbert is bubbly and kind and honest doesn't know what he's doing. Elli is mute yet kind and heals the other two when they get hurt.

Susie was absorbed by Lancer and is now considered his guardian. She protects him when no one else is around and helps describe colors to him. She'd go ballistic if anything happened to him.

Kris is just...Kris? They don't have too much do them. They don't talk and kinda just float around RK, waiting for the chance to escape. But they can't. They never will. It's slowly making them violent. Watch out.

Clover is just normal clover. They still haven't found a boyfriend yet.
