Thinking of things that i personally like charlastor wise as my demisexual ass could offer
Kinky stuff
1- Alastor having a blood kink but avoiding having actual sexual intercourse at all so he just bites Charlie or touch her to compensate, sometimes softly, sometimes hard, using his tentacles and being so self aware of his body that he refuses to be fully naked. Shirtless is the max he can go.
2- Charlie going along with it and realize she have a bite kink so whenever he bites or touches her it satiates her succubi side and sex slowly becomes unrequited, as in turn she gets to touch his sensitive ears and tail, as well as his many scars on his chest, and he melts like a puddle in her hands

After reading so many charlastor fics (and on the progress in making my own)
To have a successful fic you need to know how to:
1- slow burn the fuck of out of their messy relationship to make it natural (and piss off your impatient readers)
2- keep the characters accurate by being close as what they could act in canon as possible
3- know how to write smut (the kinkest the better)
4- acknowledge Charlie previous relationship with Vaggie or make it implied that they broke up and are in good terms (or are suffering to get back together if you're feeling evil enough)
5- not be me

It's amazing how Narilamb only exploded since Cult of the lamb release because of the own marriage mechanic inserted to the game, allowing the player (aka lamb) to marry the enemy if they choose to turn it into their follower

Blocking haters on charlastor tag is self care 馃憦馃憦馃憦馃憦
and sadly some nice people i know still prefer to defend the ship by engaging with braindeads that are shitting on it rather than just block their sorry ass and move on
DON'T give them the privilege of knowing that what they say piss you off because they'll keep doing it
It's a pointless fight where you'll lose
Ignore them is the best you can do for yourself
Keep enjoying the ship, draw, write or read stuff abt it
You'll have way less stress and if you're feeling like fighting them just dip the net for a while before comming back and block them
If you keep engaging with every hater, even if they're using the tag to mock the ship, you're only giving them reason to keep hating, the attention through hatred is all they're after
They don't really give two shits abt the show like you do
