(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; he's gotten a bit better with this, but they have a few.. things to patch up. But for the most part he's a decent caretaker!

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; strict but soft spoken. It's unusual to see him "soft spoken" as he's extremely obnoxious and ignorant. But there are times when he's quiet and considerate. When it comes to you he has a personality switch

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; hate loud noises? He'll personally keep his outside voice from interrupting your space and personally have a.. "nice" conversation with his crew if they at all bother you in any way

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; you have like a 100 rules it's actrally up to 10 to follow. But he helps you through them! They go from helping out with the crew (if possible) to taking care of yourself, sleep.. so it's mostly self care. He sometimes forgets about himself when he's helping out 😭

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; despite some personality changes when it comes to your regression, he gets extremely jealous and pissy when you're hanging out with his crew more than him. He doesn't usually mind it but sometimes he just... Gets personal with feelings

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; he's trying to work on it though.

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; a list of petnames! He never slows to adding more each day. Wanna know them? Of course ya do! Don't be surprised that his petnames are clown themed for the most part. So, Binky/bubbles/baby/booper/little man/girl— you get the idea

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; insecure about his height. He fears that his size will just end up you bring afraid of him. At the end of the day the last thing he wants is you to end up being scared of him or hating him in the matter

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; so to fix this, it's common to see him crouched when he talks to you. Just to be cautious and make him feel just slightly better about himself

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; doesn't show it, but he gets concerned. So much to worry about, so little eyes to help out. If he had the chance he'd do anything to make sure you're safe. Even if that meant baby proofing everything. He makes mistakes, and he isn't perfect at caregiving. But he manages at the end of the day

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; I like to imagine that if he had a playlist for you it would be mostly filled with autohart and insane clown posse. (I know technically they aren't in our 'timeline' but nobody is stopping me from stating facts)/j

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; like I said, he makes his mistakes. And his rules are.. strange sometimes. His crewmates believe that he's not being kid friendly in terms of language. But he swears like a sailor, it's hard to just stop right then and there. sometimes he'd catch himself before cussing, and say something like "freaking" instead.

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; but when a swear do slide.. he encourages when you do it. For instance: "fuck!" (You repeat it with confidence, then he ends up laughing). So yeah probably not the best at being language friendly—

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; forehead kisses, picking you up when you declare uppsies, cuddles, neck nuzzles, whispers.. this man has it all. He loves physical affection but gets embarrassed if he's caught doing it. So if you want affection, being alone with him is the best time to do it

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; doesn't have bottles buuut he does have a DIY! He made a cup out of wood and let you color on it! It's not much but it's a wonderful thought

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; amazing with all littles. No matter the gender, age, personality, so on. So here's a tip, you have a bratty personality? Well he'll just be bratty right back! He mostly follows your own mood. Similar to a copycat, If you were to get angry he'll do it right back.

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; this includes every mood. And sadness is a full on dedication thing. He'll force himself to start crying as well. He's a huge man child and will have temper tantrums with you

(˳⏑ ⏑ ) ; autistic and trauma caregiver. that's all I have to say

The captive

Comment: I haven't written anything like this in 20 years, so please be gentle with me and my attempt to be creative. ;) Buggy x reader - I do not know where this is going, just another story of someone who got caught by the great Buggy pirates and pretends to escape from his charm. ;) This is SFW and will be an ongoing story, might add some spicy segments later. ;) Warning: English is not my native language, I only write for the enjoyment, I have been a One Piece fan for 20 years, but not as dedicated as I am supposed to. ;)

After his crew mates brought you in and dropped you to your knees in front of him, Buggy exclaimed with joy, "Oh what do we have here?”

Sitting in his chair, his cheek casually resting on the back of his hand while his leg rested on the armrest, creating a sly smile.

"You look like you would be a wonderful addition to my freaks.” When Buggy raised your chin with his finger to face him, he grinned.

“Why did you bring me here? Where is the rest of my crew?”

Buggy chuckled, his eyes gleaming mischievously as he leaned in closer.

"Oh, my dear, don't be scared. You're in the presence of flashy greatness! As for your crew, well, they're no longer your concern. You see, I have a knack for separating people from their precious belongings, including their crewmates."

He twirled a finger in the air, gesturing to the room around you, filled with his loyal subordinates.

"They're all under my command now. But don't worry, they're in good hands...!"

Buggy let out a boisterous laugh, reveling in his own grandeur.

"You, my friend, have the honor of being in the presence of Buggy the Clown, the great and powerful captain of the Buggy Pirates. Consider yourself lucky!"

He leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms with a smug grin.

"Now, enough with the questions. It's time for you to entertain me. Show me what you're made of, or else I might just have to find a different way to be entertained by you..." His smile sends a shiver through your bones, you realize there is no way you can escape him.

“Please let me go. I have no skills and no time to entertain you.. I am heading for the next summer island on the Grand Line…”, realizing reasoning would not convince this clown you still try to be your usual rational self.

Buggy's smug grin slowly turned into a look of annoyance as he listened to your plea.

"Let you go? Oh, sweetheart, you have no idea who you're dealing with. Buggy the Clown doesn't simply release captives because they ask nicely. Besides, you underestimate the value of entertainment. Everyone has something to offer, even if they don't realize it."

He leaned forward, his eyes narrowing.

"But if you insist on heading to your precious summer island, then I suppose I could make a deal with you. Join my crew, become my loyal subordinate, and I might consider letting you go on your merry way once I've had my fun. You see, I have a reputation to uphold, and having someone like you in my ranks would certainly add a touch of... unpredictability."

Buggy chuckled, his voice dripping with arrogance and something else you cannot really make sense of. Desire? Obsession?

"So, what do you say? Are you willing to become a part of my grand circus or will you continue to beg for your freedom like the coward you seem to be?"

You grind your teeth and consider your options in silence. Separated from your crew and without a ship you feel helpless and you know you won ´ t stand a chance. You stare at Buggys shoes in front of you. Somehow you cannot bring yourself to look at him. His piercing eyes, the smudged makeup on his face deeply irritate you and leave you with a sense of fear and strangely enough, also a feeling of excitement. Finally you find some strength in your voice:

“I have this map to the next island and it indicates that the island is full of treasures. If I lead you to that place and let you have the treasure all for yourself, are you willing to let me go? In the meantime I can be your navigator. This could be a good deal for both of us…”

Buggy's eyes widened with interest as he listened to your proposal. Leaning back in his chair, stroking his chin thoughtfully.

"Well, well, well, it seems you've finally realized the value of cooperation. A wise decision, I must say. If this map truly leads to a treasure-filled island, then I am more than willing to strike a deal with you."

He grinned, his eyes glinting with excitement.

"As my navigator, you will guide my crew and me to this island of riches. And once we've claimed the treasure, I shall honor our agreement and set you free. Of course, I will keep a watchful eye on you to ensure your loyalty. But fear not, if you prove yourself useful, there might even be a place for you in my crew."

Buggy's tone was filled with a mix of confidence and manipulation.

"Remember, I am not one to be crossed, so be sure to uphold your end of the bargain. Now, show me that map."

As you are trying to stand up and slowly approach him with the map in your hand you are trying to find a way to escape. While slowly walking towards him you think: Now or never! and instead of handing him the map you try to punch him - a fruitless and desperate endeavour.

Buggy, realizing your attempt to deceive him, swiftly catches your fist and effortlessly dodges your punch. He appears behind you in an instant, his breath tickling your ear.

"Oh, my dear, you really thought you could outsmart Buggy the Clown? How amusing."

His grip on your wrist tightens, preventing any further movement. You let out a surprised sigh.

"You see, I have eyes everywhere, and I always anticipate such feeble attempts. You've just made a grave mistake, my dear."

Buggy's voice takes on a sinister tone as he continues. It does not fail to send another shiver down your spine. You suddenly feel very weak in your knees. You realize you never stood a chance against him.

"Trying to betray me? That's not something I take lightly. Now, I suggest you reconsider your actions before I decide to make an example out of you."
