Mizuki's trained You Gotta Come, Or Else I’ll Be Sad! 4* card contains multiple references to previous Mizuki cards.

Firstly, if you look closely at three of the bubbles in the foreground, you will notice they have card art from three of Mizuki's previous event banners. The cards are their untrained Feelings That I've Realised 4* from Secret Distance, untrained What Gave Me Courage 4* from And Now, the Ribbon Is Tied, and untrained The Words Only I Can Convey 4* from Our Escape for Survival.

A bit harder to spot due to the water effect, but Mizuki's reflection in their You Gotta Come, Or Else I’ll Be Sad! card has a different facial expression to them. This might be a callback to their trained Unyielding Obsession 3* card, which did the same thing.

Going back to the first point, you might've noticed that there's no reference to Mizuki's card from their second unit event, My Footprints, Your Destination. However, there actually might a reference to the event, just in a different way to how the other events were referenced. Take note of the fact the card is set underwater. While obviously this is a reference to the new lake area in the Empty SEKAI, in this specific card, it might also be a reference to the song Lower, which was the song for the Footprints event. The in-game jacket and the teaser for the song both show a mobile phone sinking underwater.

so i think i have finally put into words why it is always so funny when a court case happens in minecraft, and it’s because court is possibly the most boring thing in the world like 90% of the time. in real life a case like jimmy and joel’s would be like... one of many on the docket in a small claims court everyone is exhausted maybe the briefs would get some coverage on like, “funny law stuff” websites. like. my dad is a lawyer. one of my early memories of “what my dad does for work” was him at home looking at pictures of dirt that he was going to use as evidence in court (because someone had been building with the wrong kind of dirt and they were suing about it). i cannot express enough how fucking boring a court of law usually is, let alone a copyright case in a small claims court.

naturally this makes ‘getting sued’ one of the FUNNIEST THINGS POSSIBLE to do in minecraft, because things that are extremely mundanely boring become HYSTERICAL in a fantasy madcap roleplay set in minecraft. it’s like. what’s next. is jimmy going to establish the minecraft dmv,

Wanted to write a short writing thing based on @daily-odile doodle they did for @tealgoat in tales of time au! Set Post game so implied references to the full game are under the cut:

Common historical misconceptions:

Suits and ties were not used by everyone: they were mostly used by people of high status on formal occassions.

Daft Punk represent some of the earliest androids registered outside fiction, they were not two humans in suits (this is still disputed)

Similarily, Miku Hatsune was an "anime" character at first, the first sentient personalities of Miku date from 2026.

The "Old City" of Niork in Usamerica was actually built in the 2230s around the JFK Spaceport, the ruins of old Niork are in the Manhattan Swamplands.

Similarily, the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building are later reconstructions. The original Statue of Liberty did not have the shield with the emblem of the Joint Chiefs.

The Joint Chiefs did not refer to an alliance of "chiefs" in charge of Usamerican "states", but rather to the pre-socialist military dictatorship.

Bioengineering allowing for animal features is only registered from the late 21th century onwards. Findings previous to that are understood to be caricatures.
