ghost: "c'mere sweetheart" the softness in him practically excludes out from him when he sees you this way, lowkey gets very anxious when you're sick. but calms down when he knows it'll pass. he's immediately massaging any knots in your body, holding you close to his body for warmth and comfort. doesn't care if he gets sick, you are his main priority always. will cuddle with you close, whispering gentle words in your ears as he caresses your skin. even if you don't want to say anything, he'll sit with you in comfortable silence and hold you close until you're ready to speak <3

gaz: "how you feeling, beautiful?" the most doting ever, bless his heart <33 instantly googling up remedies and soups to try and get you better. but he definitely understands when you're having one of those days and you just need some tlc. both of you snuggled under the covers, your head against his chest while he strokes your hair tenderly. whispering the most sweetest words in your ears as you nod off. his only concern is you, whatever you need he's already getting it for you <3

soap: "my poor little lass, how you feeling?" laughter is the best medicine so if you're feeling up for it, he's cracking all sorts of jokes to help you feel better. but if not, he'll cuddle you close with his warm hand stroking your back while you both laze on the couch watching movies. it melts his heart to see you in this way and he can't help but pepper soft kisses around your face, cuddling you close. absolutely nothing could take him away from this moment with you. even when you're sick, you're still the most beautiful to him ever <3

This drabble is more or less me working through some shit, so don’t mind the chaos! I love Hood. He’s a comfort character for sure.

Warnings: smut if you squint, mentions of mental struggle. 18+

Hood, or perhaps he gave you a fake name too, leaned further into you, the heels of his hands pressed intimately into your hips. He was so close to you, the notion unexpected, and it was fucking terrifying. You’d grown to enjoy his company in the brief time you’d known him, even if all you did was fuck, lay in his rickety bed and stare at the ceiling, and eventually return the following evening. But you didn’t mean for it to end up here, in a foreign place of pleasure and comfort.

He hit a spot, one you couldn’t quite describe, and while he slowly rocked against you, you began to cry. You couldn’t stop, no matter how hard you tried. No matter how tightly you gripped the sheet underneath you, to keep yourself from digging your nails into your palms. What the fuck was wrong with you? Why did the tears transform into full-body sobs, racking your frame, shivering and twitching beneath him?

He was looking straight at you now, and you wished he wasn’t. You wished you were somewhere else, no matter his warmth. He wasn’t supposed to see the weak angles jutting across the scattered memories that molded you and turned you into the pathetic mess you actually were.

He ceased his thrusts, but didn’t slacken his hold. His brow furrowed, mouth agape as he inhaled deeply. Tenderly, he tucked and smoothed some of your hair back and behind your right ear, and he fell against the crook of that same shoulder. Still inside you, he wrapped his arms around you and gathered you to him. Embraced you.

It was embarrassing how you were being betrayed by the very vessel that was supposed to keep you safe. Lucas’s girth softened, yet strove to complement your empty shell, no ocean heard, no waves crashing against the eroded shore. It was just you and what you tried to convince yourself wasn’t in the same haggard breath, his sturdy frame shielding you from caving in on yourself to a greater degree. You disappeared into his strength and he didn’t utter a word.

You didn’t seek shelter elsewhere, wondering how long it would take before he figured out that you were in love with him. How long you could go on pretending you weren’t.

chaeya fic concept:

childe and kaeya are doing something for traveler so they're on the same team, and childe isn't much one for teams but he's cautiously optimistic. he's worked pretty successfully with people traveler has put him with in the past.

except none of those people had a cryo vision.

cue freeze comp childe becoming increasingly, irrationally more upset the longer they work together, because none of the things he's fighting can even fight back.
